Dufferin Islands Nature Area

There are a few places where you can barbecue. A nice place to walk. The view is great. Toilets are nice and clean. There is plenty of car parking.

This is a beautiful nature area for you to get away from the city. It is quite and peaceful area. There is a pond where you can always find geese and ducks. Please do not feed them bread, fries or other food that is harmful to them. There are many mature trees and also a trail where you can walk by the water. The water here is diverted from the Niagara River. There are benches and bbqs and also washrooms. The parking used to be free before but now they have installed those machines where you can pay and display your parking slip. The best thing is to buy annual parking pass if you are using the parking at the falls and here for more than once.

Beautiful place. Please do not feed the animals. That's the only thing that needs to be said for this place to be perfect.

It is a beautiful little picnic spot. Great for kids to enjoy some ducks and birds as well as bbq time with the elderly

Lovely area that gets daily visits from my friends and I. Lots of great trails and things to do there.

Superb place to walk and unwind while connecting with nature. Parking is reasonable. Be sure to NOT bring bread for the birds as bird seed is healthier and better for the ducks and the environment. Lots of unique birds and water fowl here!

Just a beautiful and normally quiet place in the hussle and bussle of the falls.
Lots of wild life and great walking paths.
Clean restrooms and lots to explore.
Only draw back is it costs to park there now. If you plan on visiting the falls more than twice. Get the Niagara parks annual parking pass. It's so worth it.

This is a small walking area unique with its access to the islands. Paid parking is enforced

Beautiful area to visit! And the light show during the Christmas season is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful small island.the ponds are full of Canadian geese and ducks. Parking is not free anymore, location has washrooms.it has some picnic areas with outdoor benches. The small islands through bridges are not accessible during winter time. The island has the most beautiful Christmas lights in the Niagara area.
