New client here! I took my cat for checkup and bloodwork. Very reasonably priced, and amazing staff. My cat went absolutely psycho on them, and they handled him so well. Sorry everyone for his actions!

Update: I have since brought my two other geriatric cats here, and very pleased with the staff and services. The compassion I was shown when I had to put my cat down, will forever mean so much.

Update #2. Just wanted to thank everyone, especially Dr. Thind for your incredible care. I brought my Lloyd in and he was shown so much compassion, and he’s on the mend. I appreciate that you respect my need to be money conscious. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me today, even though I didn’t have an appt. Happy New Year! You can’t please everyone! But for me the services that I get for my 2 years old dog at this vet hospital as been 5 stars! ️

I recently had a highly disappointing experience with a veterinarian and their staff, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. Our primary concern was our two dogs and their travel arrangements, but unfortunately, the veterinarian and their team failed to meet our expectations.

The most concerning aspect of our visit was the incompetence displayed by the staff members. Despite our clear needs and inquiries, they were unable to provide us with the necessary forms for our dogs' travel. This not only wasted a significant amount of our time, but it also caused unnecessary stress and frustration.

Additionally, the unhelpful and rude attitude of the staff further compounded our dissatisfaction. Their lack of empathy and disregard for us as clients was evident throughout the entire interaction.

Overall, my experience with this veterinarian and their staff was highly disappointing. Their incompetence, coupled with their disrespectful attitude, made it clear that they do not prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their clients. I would strongly caution anyone seeking professional and reliable veterinary services to consider alternative options.

I’ve experienced numerous vets and have been a vet assistant myself. I am so impressed with Dr. Thind and her team. Extremely helpful and compassionate when I had to put down my 12 year old pug, and so caring and professional with my new Frenchie:) He can’t walk by without wanting to go in and say hi to the amazing staff. He’s had some tough times and yet he still loves going in! Dr. Thind will give you options, without judgment, and goes out of her way to ensure that the options are valid and affordable. I’d highly recommend her!

Professional and friendly staff, providing a personalized experience to each client. Dr. Thind is extremely kind and goes above and beyond with her care.

Dr Thind has been extremely attentive to the variety of medical issues I have faced with my pets. From diabetic management to cancer care and euthanasia, and the many, many pieces of advice (sometimes after-hours), I appreciate the kindness and compassion at this neighborhood clinic.

Horrible experience! They asked me to bring my dog in to weigh him for his prescription only so they could charge me an $80 check up fee and then gave me 6 different prescriptions he didn't need, just incase. This place is only after money and they made me feel uncomfortable for not wanting to take all the prescriptions. I will never be returning to this location.

Have been going here since we got our puppy in 2020 - the team are always so kind and helpful, often squeezing us in last minute for emergencies and keeping Calvin as calm as possible. We recently moved to Vancouver and already miss these guys - it's hard finding a comparable vet for quality and value.

Dr thind isn't that pleasant to deal with. She would suggest a medication and go out and get it without consulting with you.

The service seems rushed, she doesn't stay to see if you have any questions.

She doesn't even tell you whether your appointment is done.

Clinic doesn't seem busy, with one person there but she didn't even attend to that person.maybe she has a backlog of things to do but she seem ATTENTIVE to us at all.

Provided services and rushes out with no comment or questions.

Staff are very nice though.

Honestly, I'm 38 years old and I had dogs since I remember I exist as a person and I have never been in a such good place.
Every single person here is amazing and they really care about your pet and not about your money.

Dr. Sedaf is really considerate and accommodating. I had to do an international travel when I found out the kennel cough vaccine wasn’t administered to my puppy so want able to leave her with a dog onboarding company. Not only she got me in but she also waived the admin fee.
Besides, she spent so much time with me on the phone to provide me free consultation regarding the medication that I could buy for my puppy if I decided to take her with me on this trip.

If you make an appointment at a certain time, be prepared to be outside waiting for at least 30 minutes over time, they don't understand that we all have appointments. The veterinarian is super helpful but the girls who stay at the front desk are not! I've definitely switched vets.

My girlfriend and I have a new puppy. Puppy was born March 26/2021. Received her first round of vaccinations at the appropriate time on May 27.

We contacted this veterinarians office and explained we were looking for a second round of shots and that we were also looking for a new veterinarian for the long term.

At the time the appointment was made we were to see one certain vet. My girlfriend knew she had to take time off of work to accommodate the appointment. Keep in mind all of the info pertaining to the dog was of this was given well in advance of the actual day of the appointment.

Day of, she goes with the puppy, having received no new patient paperwork via email,
had to fill out paperwork outside. Puppy goes in, and comes out very shortly after. No shots.

Attending veterinarian refuses because the puppy is 1 day short of three weeks. This is not the vet that ok’d the appointment in the first place, but another replacement vet. They wanted to rebook for another day.

After calling and finding out that the replacement doctor didn’t get all of the info left by the vet who ok’d the appointment in the first place, due to some miscommunication, we were really offered no apology for wasted time, as it was in their system that the puppy was ok to receive said shots after all, and all would be well.

This may seem petty, but schedules are not easy to break and despite my girlfriends best efforts to explain to them we were told to bring in the puppy, they turned her away.

Steer clear of this time wasting vet. Inter-office miscommunication is not our fault and we shouldn’t have to put up with it. We have found another vet who not only agrees with us in our frustration but has agreed to see us after hours to accommodate.

Huge fail on their part. They are missing out on a dogs life time requirement of quality care and the business it brings. First impressions out the door on this veterinarian office.

Very passionate team here. They charge very fair prices for check ups and care deeply for the animals they work on.

Dr. Thind is a miracle worker. From small regular checkups to major surgery, she's treated our dog with love, compassion, extreme care and endless treats. Everyone at this clinic, from the vet techs to the vets, have your best interests at heart every step of the way and are always happy to take the time to explain procedures and ensure you're getting the fairest price. PS. This is our dog's favourite place on the planet (ranked higher than the pet store and the Dog Bowl). That should be the whole review right there. ;)

I'm a first time pup-mom and I had a lot of questions and concerns. Dr. Thind was very kind and patient, she answered all my questions, and made both Mocha and I feel comfortable with the whole experience even with COVID19 restrictions on visits.

Friendly staff, quick to response to emails and appointment bookings. Excellent service. Had my cat neutered here and everything went smoothly. However just a bit on the expensive side

They are the worst animal hospital in the world. They almost killed my kitten, I took my kitten there nervously saying that she had not been eating for the past two days, AND THEY SENT ME HOME WITHOUT ANYTHING! Two days later I took her somewhere else and the doctor told me my cat is dying! I have spent alot right now and I need to continue this medication for 84 days. THEY COULD HAVE TREATED HER TO AVOID HER DISEASE PROGRESSING THIS MUCH. I have promised to continue writing reviews until they close their hospital. If you love your fluffy friend at home, NEVER TAKE THEM THERE

Awful experience at Dufferin-Queen animal hospital ; totally unprofessional. The vet hurt our cat doing urine sample - she bled for 2 days - but most importantly did not recognize that he hurt her when we probed. He did not do a full diagnostic but charged us full fees, missed 2 issues with our cat and ended up trying to sell us the food he markets and tried to get us to come back for more tests.what a shame!

Unfortunately - a very poor experience with Dr. Thind. Wrong diagnostic, does not spend time explaining the issue (s), only goal is to sell more services. Definitely the worst vet experience ever.

Very quick to give my dog a wrong diagnosis and medicine so she can suffer 3 weeks before having to come back and get tests to figure what's actually wrong with her. Great to know I spent 700$ to not help my dog for 3 weeks.

Oh and they told me my dog would not get better if I didn't use there food well thanks she's worse now

Nothing but love for the staff. They've gone above and beyond in caring for my cat and even follow up with a call.

Nice vet, doctor is patient with my anxious dog. Prices are a bit higher here than other vets I’ve been to.

Honestly, they take SUCH good care of my cat each time. They are so patient with her, always find time to fit her in & never push extra services or costs. I find the prices very reasonable especially considering the neighborhood.

My cat took ill recently and even though it turned out to be fatal, the staff here made the situation as easy as possible. They were friendly with my cat, kind and patient delivering the news and prompt with the information for the insurance company. I appreciate everything they did

A bit disorganized, nice staff nice vet. They definitely don't scam you into doing all kinds of useless tests (which is great). But you should only go there for regular check-ups and shots but nothing else. Vet didn't even take time to look at my dog's medical history before jumping into conclusion. (unfortunately there aren't many vets in Toronto I trust and I've been to many).

They always take such good care of our pooch, given us different budget, options when issues arise, and everyone is so sweet.

Great place, I've been taking my pets here since they opened almost 20 years ago (originally on the north side of queen) and it's been a relief to know my babies have always been in good hands on their way to full health.

Great place for most pets. However I would strongly urge you not to bring any brachycephalic dogs (pugs, bulldogs etc.) To this place for care/surgery.

We've been coming to this place since our pug was just a pup. The team are very kind, And the prices are extremely reasonable.

However, our pug now needs typical dental work done under anesthesia, and the vet said there's a 40% chance he thinks my pug could die under anesthisia.
This is not normal. She's only 6. She's been spayed at this clinic before via a different doctor and no issues.
Another issue is they only have one doctor/vet working out of this clinic at a time. So any surgery is best to be done somewhere else with multiple doctors available. I left the clinic crying, and was in hysterics by the time we reached the car. This feels like fear mongering. Like he was pushing us to get the surgery done with him (said we had no choice, that it was mandatory) yet he's only 60% confident that our pet will survive under anesthesia with him.
We will not accept that risk.

He's a kind person, don't get me wrong. But I would just urge any pug owners to seek a more experienced vet.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially to a place that we have been attending for years with no issues - but I don't want any pet owners to go through a potentially devastating experience.

Good care and prices. The staff work with the customer and give lots of practical knowledge. These people really care about our pets like their own.

They were very friendly and made my experience with my new dog very enjoyable. I feel comfortable suggesting this clinic.

Very nice staff and they seem to genuinely be concerned about the animals they are helping. Pricing seems a bit high, but I am not informed enough to be sure.more my opinion being offered.

So good with my cat Batman always on top of things that are needed for your pet.friendly staff. The cats that roam the place are a nice touch.
