Pick up was not as smooth and took a few extra days before they could take the bin away.

SCAM.
Bin arrived later than scheduled. Arrived with garbage inside already, which we didn’t even call to complain about because we were told 1.4 tons was included in the $290 price and we knew we wouldn’t exceed that.

Sure enough we felt that we were ripped off when the invoice came. Double what was promised to us. There’s no way we exceeded 1.4 tons. 2800 pounds to be precise. We know exactly what we put inside and we only ordered a bin for convenience of not having to drive to the dump.

Certainly my crew and I will not be using dump squad every again.

Left a bin blocking the front of a driveway preventing 5 cars from coming in and out, FOR OVER A WEEK.

Failed to listen to my instructions and place it right directly at the entrance of the driveway rather than in the corner like I asked.

And they refuse to move it now.

Cleaning and selling your house can be very stressful and a lot of work. I used Dump Squad to get rid of household items we no longer wanted and the service was great. The communication was professional and timely, the bin was dropped off and pickup on time. I recommend using dump squad.

I rented a bin from Dump Squad to dispose of the wood from my deck. They delivered the bin on the day that was arranged. The pricing was competitive and no discrepancy on the amount charged. When I called for the bin to be picked up, they told me the day it would be picked up and when they will have the amount for me based on the final weight. It was all a seamless and easy process.

I've used dumpsquad twice over the last 3 years. I dealt with Sai and Rob there, it was an easy and seemless process. I'm very happy with their service. They delivered one bin on the specific day I requested and the other was delivered earlier without additional charges due to their drop-off availability. Their prices are very competitive. Also the bins were in good conditions, they didn’t leave any marks on my driveway after removal.

If you need it picked up on a specific day, I would advise them in advance. I ended up having the bin for an extra few days due to their pickup availability but there weren't any additional charges and I have a large driveway so didn't impact me. Otherwise I would of had to park on the street for a few days.

I would highly recommend using their bin rental services and I have no hesitation to use Dump Squad again in the future.

The bin was left exactly where I had asked on my driveway and the invoice was very honest and reasonable with no extra hidden fees attached. I've been using Dump Squad for my renovation and my experience with them has been very pleasant and professional.
Every time I needed a new bin or needed the bin picked up, I've txt'ed them. It doesn't get simpler than this really! And so far I've gone through 15 bins. They've gone out of their way to accommodate my schedule - often with very little notice. In one instance I've had the driver come by to pick up the bin and I was still filling it up. He not only waited but gave me a hand to top up the bin. Overall, I'm very happy with the services Rob and his team have been providing. A friend recommended them to me and I would do the same to anyone who wants a headache free service.

I agree with Amy Le, the 5-star reviews are fake and the rate posted on their websites is wrong. They will charge way more. Also, people working there are very unprofessional.

Scheduling the service went fine and the bin was delivered roughly on time. They say you can have it for a week, but I asked for a same day pick up as I thought I would get everything done in one day. The same day pick up was scheduled for 3pm, but they arrived at 2: 20pm. I was not done and asked them if they could wait until 3, but they said "no". I called their office to see if they could pick it up the next day and they said they couldn't because I didn't ask in advance for a delay, something they never communicated beforehand.

Using Dumpsquad has been easy. Dropping off the bin has gone well. They always place it where we want it. Also pick up has been seamless. We’ve been very happy with the dumpsters they provided.

We used Dump Squad for a home renovation. They delivered and picked up on dates requested and there were no extra charges. Driver took the time to place wood we supplied to keep from harming asphalt driveway and that worked successfully. A positive experience would use them again and recommend to others.

Dump Squad damaged my driveway and were not cooperative nor accountable when informed of such. My ask of them was simple, come to my house to survey the damage and we could have a face to face discussion to address professionally. After 4 months of trying, they remain uncooperative to this simple request. During this time, I visited their offices at the address listed on their website to address this issue in person. This address is not an office but rather a residential property. There was a Dump Squad truck in the driveway, however the individuals who answered the door mentioned they were tenants with no connection to Dump Squad, a commercial business operating out of this address. If you are considering renting a dumpster bin, do not hire Dump Squad. They are invisible, unprofessional and unaccountable. You will notice that there are many reviews both here on Home Stars and on other sites that are consistent with my experience. Common complaints include damage to personal property with no accountability or restitution, overcharging and poor service with an unprofessional attitude. Dump Squad, if you read this review, I welcome your call so we can arrange a visit to my property where we can assess the damage you left. Enclosed are photos for the record.

Fake reviews - they said I loaded 4000lb of drywall for a small 10 foot room how is that possible? And they hold the credit card deposit so u have to pay no matter what / they overcharge and inflate the weight of the bin DO NOT USE

If you don’t want to save your nerves, you can order. I would put 0. Customer service and service is 0. You will get problem by picking up your bin. They will tell different stories.

The bin was delivered later than promised and they didn't follow the basic instruction of putting wood under the driveway to protect it.

They charged my credit card even after they said they wouldn't until their supervisor called me to get this all sorted. They charged it anyway and I never recieved a call to deal with the issues.

Trying to manage the driveway damage and credit card charge through email resulted in being call "buddy" in a condescending way and not worth the effort to deal with such an unprofessional company.

I've had multiple bins delivered for various projects and never experienced this level of poor service.

I would put zero stars, if I could. Being aware of our friend's bad experience with waste bin renting (she was charged for 3 tons instead of 1), I weighted every single piece I put in that bin. I knew the exact weight of the garbage inside that bin, which was 1262 kg. This company charged me for 2280 kg, that's 1000 KG extra that came out of nowhere.
They charged my credit card in advance, did not answer my calls for two days to discuss this issue, and at the end they told me to stop calling them.
Stay away from this company! Do not ever become their customers. Cheating and horrible customer service!

This is not what your website states or the agreed amount based on the conversation. The Rent includes a package deal of first 1.5 tons for $100 based on your staff. That is the reason why I went with your firm.
To me it sounds like false advertising. Also prior to ordering i have confirmed verbally with your 1 week rental includes 1.5 tons as flat rate.

(99 rent for week) + (first 1.5 ton for $ 99) + (0.8 x $99/Ton) + (10 Fuel) = $287 + HST

Also you guys only had the bin for 6 days and not 7 days plus parked on the wrong side of the parking lot. It is not a big deal but I just wanted to highlight. Anyways it is a small amount difference but I feel I am being misled by your staff and being overcharged.

Our company have been a long time costumer of Dump Squad. We are very satisfied with the service. Bin scheduling is very simple, just a test with address and time of desired delivery. Deliveries are always available the next day. Thanks for the Service!

The prices seem great up front; but the infrastructure is terrible. They struggled so much just to email an invoice. After two different emails were given, they texted pictures of the invoice, so I can see the employee's reflection of their computer.

They tried to blame me for not being able to receive the emails with attachments; but the emails are generic everyday emails from two large providers. Then I found out they were having system issues themselves-No kidding.

After several days I received their test email, which didn't have an attachment, and it is obvious they were finally getting something fixed. But no. PDF version of the invoice.

So, the weigh bill that they provided showed that I had 2.3 metric tones. That is 5070 pounds. More than a car! There is no way that the wood that I dumped was more than an average car.

Terrible waste of time. I went with another company for my second and third bins.

Ordered a bin rental from these guys a couple weeks back and the service was great. Pricing was exactly in the range they estimated over the phone.

I chose this place based on their positive reviews but in hindsight, I really should have paid more attention to the negative feedback as I can completely relate to what those customers have written. Don't waste your time and choose a company that knows what customer service is.

When I ordered the bin, I indicated that I only needed it for 7 days (as advertised on their website). I had to get a parking permit to park my car on the road for the week so it was really important that the bin be picked up on time. On the 6th day, I called to confirm that the bin would be picked up the following day and I was instructed to call back the next day to provide my credit card details (not sure why they couldn't take it the same day).

So I called back on the day that it was supposed to be picked up to provided my credit card details and was told it would be picked up "today or tomorrow. " It was never picked up on either of those days or even the following 5 days. It rained on most of the extra days that the bin was sitting in my driveway and the bin became full of added water weight.

I called back again 3 days after the pick up was supposed to happen, and was told the trucks had broken down (an excuse that has been used before according to other reviews) and that I would have to wait some more days. Within this time period, I got a ticket for parking on the road as my 1 week permit had expired. When I mentioned this to the company, no remorse was shown.

I was finally told that it would definitely be picked up on Monday between 8am-4pm (6 days after it was initially supposed to be picked up). On that day, by 5pm, it had still not been picked up! I called again and was told it would be picked up later that evening. When the driver asked me how the service was, I gave him my honest impressions of the lack of customer service. He mentioned he would talk to the owner and that they would do something about it.

I then got a call from the company asking why I was unhappy with the service. I mentioned everything I have written above and they told me it was because of issues that had come up on their end. They offered $50 discount to use next time I order a bin. I asked for that discount to be applied to the current service since I am paying an extra $50 for a parking ticket as a result of the inconveniences the company had caused. But this was quickly denied and I was told I could go with a different company next time. If that isn't horrible customer service, I don't know what is.

I started my conversation for a quote.the staff name Sai the price she quoted me was 240 minimum charges ($99 for rental + $99 for 1 ton weight) but failed to explain the $40 they are charging for what reason and kept on saying for not to argue and hang up on me.if u don't want to explain any reason to your customer stop publishing misleading advertisement on kijiji and other places.i recommend people not to use the service.they seems to very unreliable and big zero in customer service.i thank you for not having me your customer.we can pay extra dollars but don't want to get such a great customer service.

The customer service was exceptional leave a message 5 minutes Rob call me back and prices reasonable. And I requested if I could have the bin for 2 weekend and no problem no extra cost. I highly recommend Dump Squad and will definitely be using their services again in the future jobs.
