Dr. Dayed and his staff are caring and patient when dealing with my dog and I. They always take the time to explain what they recommend, why they do so, and any other options that are available. There is never any pressure to do more than what is necessary.

Dr Dayed certainly cares about the animals he treats. He works with Toronto Cat rescue and is my preferred vet of theirs to take my foster cats to.

Dr Dayed saved my girls life many years ago she had liver disease problem unresponsive with seizure. He put her on IV gave all the possibilities and routes of action and aftercare. Means the world to me she alive still many tears later and he is the best bet we have ever had in any city. We moved around since covid but I won’t forget having his personal cell phone number when she was sick and his amazing prices and all of the endless information and options given. Dr. Dayed is an absolutely wonderful vet that will give your pets accessible, honest, and great care. Him and his team exceed my expectations every time I step into the clinic. When my animals were sick, he set aside the time to call the following day to check in, and made himself available for any questions or concerns I had; always kind, never pushy or cold. Visits to the vet can be really hard, and I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Dayed.

Very kind and informative veterinarian and staff. They are transparent regarding pricing (with no pressure on clients) and they were very good with our senior cat that has many health considerations to manage.

The two times that I visited this vet had been unpleasant. I moved to the area in 2022 and messaged this clinic for inquiries about vaccines. During my exchange, I mentioned to them that I was looking to switch my vet. When I arrived to my appointment, they mentioned that I needed to call my previous vet to transfer my dog’s files over to this veterinary. I thought this was odd as I would’ve assumed 1) they would’ve called themselves to get the files transfers OR 2) ask me prior to my appointment time to have those transferred. I understand the importance of getting my dog’s history transferred over, however I wished they had told me prior to my appointment time that way it did not take more time out my day.

The second time I visited this clinic was earlier in the month of May 2023. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but to my surprise, this visit just confirmed that I will no longer attend this vet. I booked an appointment to get my dog’s updated vaccinations, however the day prior to my appointment, I suspected that my dog may have a UTI. When I arrived to my appointment, I explained to Dr. Dayed what I’ve noticed but he would cut me off and start explaining without me finishing what I had to say. Just having a bad experience my very first visit, that experience continued throughout this visit. Dr. Dayed tried to do a urine test but couldn’t do it the traditional way so he sent his receptionist with me outside to collect a urine sample. On the way out, my dog stopped to lick her lady parts and Dr. Dayed said “try to not let her lick” but then handed me a tissue and said “maybe wipe her down because I had to spray her”. When I wiped that tissue on her lady parts, the tissue was SOAKED. I was shocked that Dr. Dayed would spray that much alcohol on her lady parts to “sanitize” it. The cherry on top during this experience, was when I was outside with the receptionist for her to collect a urine sample, I mentioned to her that my dog will most likely pee soon. As my dog was peeing, I noticed the receptionist wasn’t quick to react in collecting the sample. I literally said to her “hello, my dog is peeing” and she was able to collect the last bits of her pee, but not enough to sample it. She then asked me “do you think your dog will pee again? ” at the end of my visit, Dr. Dayed prescribed 3 medications for my dog. My gut feeling felt that it was too much medications for what the issue was.

As a result, I went to my old vet from my hometown to get her opinion and explained to her what I experienced from this vet and she was shocked by the fact they sprayed alcohol on my dog’s lady parts and prescribed 3 medications in which 2 of them are basically the same and 1 of them are painkillers and my dog doesn’t appear to be in pain when she did her exam on my dog.

Just an unpleasant experience with this vet overall from start to finish.

Lovely staff, Dr Dayed is mid. Cheaper services in the city for this reason I assume. In my experience, he spoke through laughing when I expressed certain concerns and is an absolute mansplainer (I’m a young woman). Everything could be a massive surgery or cancer. Signs pointed to horses, he still guilted me into paying for excessive testing to rule out zebras. He is unable to make an educated decision on a simple problem (UTI in cat). I could go on, but the ladies are quite nice and I’ll still buy prescription food there.

We had an amazing experience here! Would definitely recommend to anyone with a pet. Dr. Dayed goes above and beyond to navigate a plan in order to get your animal back to good health, without haggling your pocket. He makes both you and your animal feel at ease and cared for.

This vet is so incredible - they're very reasonable and I've never felt like they've taken advantage of charging me for anything which is hard to find in a vet. My dog actively tries to go inside whenever I walk by and I think that's a pretty good indication of how amazing the staff are here.

My baby Ragnarr had his surgery here. Very trustworthy and professional staff. We love our experience here. The doctor was experienced and very confident about what he was doing. I highly recommend this animal hospital. It's been a week from the surgery and everything has gone as planned. Thank you for your fantastic service.

We recently visited Dr. Dayed and his lovely associates to do an ovariohysterectomy to my six year old dog. The procedure went well and my dog is healing up nicely. The Dr.and his staff explained the pre-op and the post-op repeatedly very well and they will also call to check up on your pet. I’m glad I took my dog here and I finally found a team of vet and associates that actually cares!:)

Dr Dayed is a wonderful vet! We’ve been going here since Teddy was a puppy and always had a good experience. The front desk staff are lovely as well and you can tell they really care about the animals. Anytime He’s been sick they always call to check in on him.

I took my dog Thor to get blood work done before neutering him and doctor Dayed was very nice and was reasonable with prices. He really cares about pets and their owners as he’s very honest with what it needs to be done and what it is not necessary. He really cares about the customer’s pocket. 10/10

Dr Dayed is exceptional and above of the best for his profession. He is amazing in diagnosing, caring and very passionate about the pets. My experience is very good with him and currently I have my first pet in canada but with the guidance of Dr Dayed my dog is doing good all the time.

Dr. Dayed is the best vet I’ve ever met. We brought in our two puppies to get their shots and a checkup and he gave us plenty of information which helped us decide what tests to get done in the end. He’s very patient, caring, and funny! As well, the prices were very reasonable and he makes sure that you aren’t paying unnecessary costs. You can tell that he really cares. Thanks to Dr. Dayed and his team for a great experience.

Dr. Dayed is the best vet I’ve ever been to. He helped me so much when bringing my cat to Ireland, he helped me with paperwork and even gave me his personal cell to call in case there was an issue at the border (which would’ve happened at 3am Toronto time!). His prices are fair and he cares about the animal, not the money. I am so grateful I found him and I continue to go to his clinic even since moving out of the area.

I took my moms kitten there today for it’s first check up and we had a great experience at the clinic. The doctor and his staff were friendly and very helpful and the doctor explained everything he was doing while doing it so we understood what was going on. We look forward to going back!

We've been seeing Dr. Dyad now for 4 years with several breeding dogs. He often over stresses the concerns and tries to make sure the patient understands the full scope of what is going on. Sometimes I think his manner could come off as a tad alarmist or perhaps unknowingly condescending, but it's really that he is trying very hard to ensure the patient understands fully and this can get confusing at times. If you can see past this he is a real gem who genuinely cares about his patients and wants to ensure you fully understand your options. He has very competitive prices and isn't always trying to up-sell. Most importantly he clearly, genuinely wants to help. When I've been in a hurry to see him he always some how makes the time if he can. I've had him call me at home several times just to check on a dog. I've had to text him off hours and he was surprisingly gracious about it. The fact that he shares his personal cell number is baffling and surprising. He's often said, "call me if anything happens" and when it did he was quick to help and available for consult. He's been gracious with his time both in the office and on the phone. He provides great care.

Small vets clinic but they operate with a lot of heart. Dr. Bikram showed a lot of compassion for our cat when we brought him in and we didn't feel pressured into getting upsold treatments and tests like some other vets downtown, they gave us their honest opinion and laid out next steps for us to move forward together.

The staff and Dr. Dayed are all amazing, they put so much care and effort in their approach towards management of fur babies its wonderful. Our beagle loves visiting and is always so comfortable.

Dr. Dayed was patient, knowledgeable, and transparent when dealing with me; most importantly he was kind and gentle when caring for my cats.

Great experience taking my cat to this clinic. I’ll highlight some of the benefits

Availability - I noticed an issue with my cat and wanted to take her in as soon as possible. Unlike other clinics, I was actually able to get a same day appointment with Dr Dayed. This was great because it saved me from going to an emergency vet. This was great with flexibility in booking further appointments/surgeries.
Price - if you’re worried about getting price gouged, this is the place for you. Dr Dayed is not pushy and charged very fair prices for his checkups/procedures.
Quality - he is great with the animals, and he is great with people as well. Empathetic guy, and knows everyone is coming in with different circumstances. (The techs are very kind as well)

Overall, had a very positive experience with this clinic and would recommend for anyone looking around

In a panic, I brought my cat Tobaira here and the staff and doctor were incredibly friendly. The vet himself made it very clear what were optional/suggested payments and gave his honest thoughts without pressuring to do unnecessary tests. He even followed up several days later with a phone call.

I have 4 cats and all of them go to this clinic. The Veterinarian is compassionate, professional, helpful and completely transparent. We trust him & his staff completely.

I have dealt with Dr. Dayed at Dundas Dovercourt Veterinary Hospital on multiple occasions over the past five years, as I do a lot of volunteering with a local cat rescue and he is the rescue's go-to vet in my area. Dr. Dayed is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of the animals entrusted to his care. Most importantly, however, Dr. Dayed is very forward and direct with his assessments and recommendations, and this is exactly what you want when dealing with a veterinarian.

Vet is knowledgeable and very reasonably priced. Helped my pups skin problem after only one visit.

I originally called Dr. Dayed for a second opinion on my female pup. I wasnt previously a client, but he offered to examine her; and even took a fair amount of time in answering my questions before i went for a visit. There was no pressure to follow through, either.
I felt that his attention to my concerns were not only professional; but compassionate.
My pup ended up having some minor surgery at this spot; I had a good feeling that my pup was in the right hands: it wasnt just a buisness transaction from the beginning, which isnt a very common practice. She had a perfect recovery as well.
Very thankful I trusted someone elses recommendation to go here; its a gem.
I plan to continue visiting.

I've has such a positive experience with Dr. Dayed and his team. I had to get my cat put down on very short notice- and he was extremely warm, sympathetic and personable throughout the entire experience. He was very realistic with the options he gave me, and very reasonable with prices. Even though the subway was down that day and the receptionist was late (due to subway) he still gave me time and space to make a decision. This place doesn't have much sheen or show to it, but I suspect it's because they only charge what they need to to keep the place going, and staff and customers happy and healthy. Rest assured, your money is going into your pets' care, and not into unnecessary art on the walls or cutesyness. If I get another pet in the future, I will go out of my way to return. Highly recommended!
