Dundas Neyagawa Medical Centre and Pharmacy

This clinic is GARBAGE. Had to come for a 2 step TB test (required 4 visits on different days) - they waited until the last visit to let me know that I needed a blood test before they could sign off - they could have done it the first visit I came in, but they waited until the last which meant that it prolonged me being able to go back to work because of their error. Would NEVER recommend their clinic to anyone. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. To top it off - after I wrote this review, both them and I called my family dr to CONFIRM the dates of my vaccines as a child and avoid the blood test - even then, they made me call BACK again and again and then have them fax them over, causing me and my family dr unnecessary hassle. When I asked the ‘manager’ why this wasn’t dealt with two weeks ago when it could have been handled with time to spare, she got visibly frustrated and slammed my paperwork on the ledge in front of me. Incredibly unprofessional and clearly incapable of completing a small task. Go to ANY walk in but this one.

Shameful - shouldn’t be called “walk-in” clinic when they reject you by saying “we are fully booked” - when there are only 2 people in the waiting room - STAY AWAY from these not-considerate and not-caring staff

I never write reviews but felt I had to for the pharmacist here - he is the best, most caring, knowledgeable, kind, etc etc pharmacist ever! Makes it a breeze to come by every time and goes wayy above and beyond for each customer. Never going to a big box store pharmacy again. Night and day difference!

Today I visited the clinic at approx 11 am it was quite full and I figured I’d be there for a min of two hours well much to my surprise I was done and out of there in 45 mins even the pharmacy was good and friendly and it was maybe 10 mins they are very friendly and efficient I was more than impressed thanks guys.good job!

I visited the clinic with my Dad who is visiting. We saw Dr. Mohammed and I was shocked on how unprofessional she is. She didn't even examine his chest inspite of him having a terrible cough. And put him directly on antibiotics. She literally spent 2 mins or less and walked out of the door. Didn't explain what her rationale for putting him antibiotics. Did check in his fever. Nothing. He is 69 years old and a heart patient and she has the audacity to tell me that it could be anything bronchitis, pneumonia so you treat everything with antibiotics. What a joke. I can't believe these kind of doctors are allowed to practice in Canada. Please do yourself a favor and if Dr. Mohammed is in duty dont waste your time.

This is a great medical clinic, with good service, especially Miss Soo, the pharmacist. She is so patient with a good smile and has much professional knowledge.

Very bad Service not following up with the patients, have lost my urine test despite charging me for it, I took my 2-day old baby for jaundice test they did not follow-up with the lab for the test result, despite knowing the seriousness of jaundice and sequences. Left me helpless with my baby, especially the receptionist Dina who is very rude.

Workers are so rude. How can they live with that brain? They admit their mistake than she said not our fold. Management has to change works immediately.

Amazing clinic with amazing staff. Very professional and accommodating to everyone. My family has been coming here for years and we love all the doctors!

Poor communication between doctors and medical assistants which leads to frustration and stress for the patient. Some doctors do not keep appointment times. Administration fails to respond to patient concerns. All in all - poor service and care.

After years of using the "big box" pharmacy, I finally moved to Dundas Neyagawa Pharmacy. The service is second to none and they remember your name! Personalized service and always willing to answer questions. Excellent location.

The most traumatizing experience of my life for 2 years the doctors here gave me the wrong medication! They did not ask me the right questions. They assume things about the patient. Dr. Ali is judgemental she judges people because of their faith to be a certain way. And she judges one when she is asking questions or assumes. I also went to this Punjabi doctor whose name I forget now as it’s been a while but I felt like people need to know regarding this unethical clinic. These doctors I went to several gave me the wrong medication for 2 years, the humility, the expenses and the nonstop visits made me feel exhausted and traumatized. I also would get charged 90$ for my university regarding my medical report. I was told by my university doctor that is a rip off other students get this service for free. Dalia and her husband are fake nice they really don’t care about their patients. They are running a business without any conscious. I was so young and got taken advantage off by their clinic, staff and doctors. No one should feel embarrassed and tormented. Doctors should be professional. They changed 4 medications and they were not working each month I would ask them to do different check ups, the doctors even said yes that’s bad that your body is getting used to these medications. I went to another clinic after two years and they instantly told me what medication I needed.

Dr. Ali is an excellent physician. She is very responsive and proactive. She is our family doctor and she is very attentive to all our concerns. She spends the time with her patients and doesn’t dismiss health concerns brought up to her.

Came into the office this morning, the receptionist was great, with the covid protocols Dr Zawi called me and then suggested I come to the clinic. He was very professional and helped me out. Convenient to have the pharmacy right there too

Me and my family always go to this clinic for any health issues. We take appointment for Dr. Zawi Rami who is extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Extremely unprofessional staff. Made us wait very long for our appointment while Pharmacist accommodating people he known. People were made to jump the line. Will never go back there.

Bad experience. I booked an appointment with a doctor and he did not even arrive to the clinic on time for my appointment. He showed up 45 minutes late.

Do not go see Dr Germanus if you ever need a disability form filled out for work, she will not fill it out even if she gave you time off of work for it previously, she does not know what she is doing.

Had an appointment with Dr. Ali and I must say I wasn’t even comfortable getting examined by her due to what seems for sure to be a lac of hygiene by her part. Her body odour was so strong that I had to cut my appointment short as I couldn’t grasp for fresh air. She also is very rude and unprofessional. There are plenty of great medical centres in Oakville but unfortunately this one is not one of them. I should of read some reviews on this place prior to booking my appointment. I was not shocked to read that many feel the same way.

Made an apointment for a new doctor. I waited four days for my apointment. Doctor looked at me and decided she didn't want me as a patient. Tbh I feel descriminated against. I was the only white person. I felt she didn't want me as a patient as Soon as she saw my race. This doctors office seems rather racist to me. I was very disappointed as I'm in great need of a doctor and sick as I am it's hard for me to get places.

Upon reading reviews it seems all the bad reviews are white people and more ethnic people give it five stars. Is this why I was rejected as a patient for my race? Because of prudish stuck up white people creating more barriers. Either way shame on you all and shame on how Dr. Ali rejected me.

Why the hell is a doctors office so racially charged? I'm so disappointed in humans in oakville right now.

It’s March 18th 2020, went to this walk-in because my baby was not well and was told THE DOCTOR IS WORKING FROM HOME!
This makes me sick do you still remember the oath you made to become a doctor? Oakville only has 2 cases I think and doctor is coward in home flee from all human beings and hey still making easy money by “seeing” patients over phone. I wonder how would you diagnose or prescribe medications? I left this clinic and went to another pediatric walk-in and guess what? There’s a doctor on site they just ask patients to wait in car before being called in.
I’m not saying that doctors should risk their life to save others, but they could wear mask/gloves and other protective equipments like the nice doctor that eventually saw my son. Or why don’t you simply close the clinic? If there’s no doctor on site, what’s the point of keep your doors open? If you chose a profession please at least act professionally, otherwise just don’t be a doctor!
The receptionist told me “ (doctor working from home) it’s for everyone ‘s safety”. Imagine what the society would be if our firefighters and police start wfh because “hey, it’s for everyone’s safety! ”. I know lots of doctors are of great virtue and professional ethics, we Canadians have 7000 CV submitted overnight responding to minister of health’s demand. There are fighters willing to fighting at the front line saving life of others and risking theirs, deserters flee their clinic of a small town and hide. I despise this clinic.

Wait time as a walk in patient was significant given there was only one person ahead of me (45+ min). Wouldn’t go back again. There are faster walk-in clinics in the area.

This is by far the worst walk-in clinic I've ever been too. Receptionist (Dalia) was 15 minutes late. I was first one here at open (9am on a Monday) with my sick child, I had 4 people go in ahead of me. Sat around for an hour waiting with a single book to read. The receptionist (Dalia) started giving me snarky attitude when I inquired to how much longer until we were seen. The floors look like they haven't been cleaned in 2 weeks, I would not recommend this place at all. I don't appreciate being treated as less than a priority by a healthcare professional that can't be bothered to be at work on time.
The gentleman at the pharmacy was a very nice man. The doctor didn't seem very knowledgeable at their job either. 0/10 avoid this place save your time.

This was my first visit to this walk in clinic. The location is convenient and the clinic is beautifully designed and very clean. Both Dalia and Ziad were personal and friendly. They took the time to learn about my needs and they truly cared and didn't just process me through like many other walk in clinics do.
I highly recommend this location for both medical attention and pharmacy needs.

Worst experience ever and it is all my fault going back to this terrible clinic
My first time there I went for my daughter dr was not very knowledgeable and after I got the prescription and I left they called me right away to come back as they gave me a prescription with the medication that my daughter needed BUT different patient's name! And the other time I just asked the receptionist how long do I have to wait and if it is going to be more than an hr I don't want to wait just asked for approximate time I did not want to by-pass anyone she was very rude talking to me and when I told her please give me back the health-card she thrown it on the desk and did not hand it to my hand very rude never recommend this place

Went there because I was having shoulder pain, but I also wanted to get a blood work done. Dr. Yan refused to give me a blood work because she said I need to go to my family doctor. I told her I don’t have a family doctor and the last time I did my blood work was 6 years ago. She still wouldn’t do it for me, she said she’s only seeing me walk in for shoulder pain. Anyway, This is how she treats walk in patients. Very unsatisfied with my visit.

They also wouldn’t do a Pap test for me. Apparently the doctors would only see u for one thing there. If u have multiple issues, forget it.

The pharmacist deserves 5 stars though

Ziad is an amazing person and pharmacist. He genuinely cares about his customers. When I see or phone the pharmacy, he never forgets to asks about my family's well being. He is honest, kind and incredibly knowledgeable in his profession.
Switching my pharmacy needs from Costco and Shoppers Drug Mart to finally with Ziad 's pharmacy has made a world of a difference in my experience.

Two months ago after cleaning my ear I partially lost hearing in it. I went to this clinic and asked if the doctor could see and clean what I believed to be impacted earwax. The doctor said I had an ear infection and prescribed for me an anti-fungal and an antibiotic. When I again asked if the obstruction can be cleaned the answer was: only after I take the medications and clear the infection. I also noticed doctor was in a hurry, like she was doing something important in another room. When I tried asking some questions she told me to let her focus. Its funny because it was the middle of the day and there were no other patients there.

I was told to finish the full course of the antibiotic and not interrupt it when I feel better. I bough the prescriptions and immediately started taking them. Several days went by with no improvement to my ear. Moreover about 5 days in I stared getting intermittent stomach pain and darkened stool with a bit of what looked like blood. After earlier being told that the antibiotic I was given as a side effect destroys the intestinal bacteria I continued with the medication. Also with zero improvement to my ear I have become resigned to the possibility that my ear might be permanently damaged.

Finally, after finishing the medication with no improvement I went to my family doctor so he could look at my ear and tell me if anything can be done. He looked at it and injected water into the ear, clearing the earwax obstruction within 5 minutes. Moreover he told me the antibiotic that I was given was unnecessary.

For almost two weeks I have believed that my ear is damaged but all it took to fix it was an ear syringe with water and 5 minutes of my family doctor's time. JUST 5 MINUTES!

This is only half the story. I believe the antibiotic I was prescribes set off a series of events that culminated with me developing progressively worse intestinal bleeding, ending up in a hospital for two weeks, given a blood transfusion and being diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis.

I have been unable to work for the last month and might not go back for many more weeks until my hemoglobin recovers. But I seem to be recovering now, God willing.

I know that me developing Ulcerative colitis could not be foreseen and is not the doctor's fault, however what drives me nuts is when I think that all I have described could have possibly been prevented by flushing my ear with warm water - a 5 minute procedure.

I just wish I never set foot in this clinic.

This is my go-to walk-in clinic. They are always able to accommodate my family. We are always greeted with a smile, and both the receptionist and pharmacist are pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this walk in clinic.

Effective and warm service. They are always very helpful providing professional advice and guidance, always with the best friendly attitude.

The pharmacist was very kind and knowledgeable. He was great to deal with and I will definitely go there for all my prescriptions.
Front desk was also very polite.

The doctors are OK. I didn't feel my questions were answered and will have to do a follow up to my family doctor. However, for a walk in, it was great.

Amazing service. Very fast and comfortable visit if I lived closer to them, I'd have definitely changed my family doc.

Other than the lovely receptionist, pharmacist, and short waiting hours, the doctor there were terrible. I will not say her name but she was very dismissive and did not answer any questions we had. Nearing the end of our visit we asked her something and running out the door she said “have a nice day bye” and left very rudely. She simply did not care for my injury but rather looked at it as a piece of homework she had to get over with. We do NOT recommend you to go to this place. NONE of your questions will be answered.

Ok the walk-in clinic staff are amazing to be honest. The doctor was horrible though.the place was completely empty although the doctor was nearly kicking me out and I requested referral it was like asking for something illegal! Will avoid her in the future!

I am a 63 years old male and have visited the Medical Centre for almost two years since I moved into Oakville, they have taken care of all my medical needs, i.e. Consultations, prescriptions, referrals to specialists and all the works when medically necessary.
My gratitude to Daliah for her kindness at reception, to Ziad for his knowledgeable advice, to Dr. Ali for her excellent advice, to Dr. Nabi and Dr. Fadi for taking care of my overall health. They are an excellent team and I am happy to recommend them 100%!

Bad experience over all. Went there looking for a female family doctor. I just moved to the area and in need of a family physician for a Due PAP test. So I was thrilled to hear that there are two female family docs accepting patients at this location.

The first one I don’t even remember her name. Went for the meet and greet and she didn’t even know the difference between a vegan and vegetarian. Where is the education? Scary!

Went back to meet Dr Ali (the second doc).

Straight away first thing that hits me; Poor hygiene, I could smell B. O as soon as I walked in from this doctor, which scared me off from doing a PAP test which is what I had intended to do, in the near future. I had a list of 4 things that needed to be addressed and even tho I was there already and we could have easily addressed all four things, she wanted me to come back over and over to get one thing at at time looked at. I don’t have time to keep coming back over and over, specially when you can easily get things done all in one appointment. I came in on my day off I can’t just come in whenever. I would have had to wait till my next day off and that would only work if it coincides with her schedule of mon 9-2 Thursday 9-2 or every other Saturday, just crazy! Basically impossible!

It’s all a money Grab I could clearly tell she just wanted me to keep coming in over and over so they can charge the health card over and over. One of the things I wanted was to get a specific blood test done as a preventative and of-course she said No to that too. So unless I’m at a point of no return And really sick, I’m not allowed to know what I have until it’s too late.

I thought doctors were supposed to help us and keep us healthy. Like I said this is all a money grab and they don’t really care.

The Pharmacist, the reception ladies and Dr Ali are absolutely fantastic. Love them dealing with my kids.

On the other hand I gave four stars which should’ve been a full five stars if they didn’t have so-called Dr Germanus. I would rather stab myself in the eyes than see her again. Rude and dismissive.

Dr Ali is great.dr germanus thumbs down when it comes to children and even adults.
