The nicest team ever. I truly appreciate everthing Dr. Helen and all the members have done for my cat and I. Will abstly visit again!
17 August 2023 1:29
The best vet clinic in Toronto! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and take the time to go over everything in detail with you. Unlike other vet clinics we have used, they don't force you into unnecessary tests and are willing to look at less costly options of treatment. They don't push services on you. I highly recommend Dundas West Animal Hospital.

I have two or three vets near me, but after I read all the good comments about Dundas West Animal Hospital I decided to go there even I have to walk a lil bit more. Today was my puppy’s first visit to the vet and definitely it totally worth it! I was amazed how human and lovely all the staff and docs are there. Great customer service, nice place, felt warm and cozy! What I feel is that they are not focus only in checking your pets but to make people feel good and secure, they care for the owners as well. And Mocha loved it, with all the cookies, attention, cuddles and staff this will be a fun and nice place to visit. I don’t think she won’t be afraid to go to the vet never. Thank you Dr. Krayz and all the staff you guys are great.
07 January 2023 5:22
A lot of unnecessary testing, no diagnosis, and a $700 bill. I got a second opinion and the doctor said that they would have only done, one $70, test. Extremely disappointed that I was taken advantage of.

I recently had my dog maltipoo spayed in the Dundas West Animal Hospital. Doctor was incredibly helpful and nice with my dog, surgery was done gently and my little baby recovered really quickly. I paid exactly like was estimated initially with no surprises and all visits are nice and on time. I recommend this hospital and dr. Leslie Burke

Last week my cat had his yearly check up. Thank you Dr. Do! I know he is a difficult patient. Thanks so much for your compassion and understanding. Friendly staff on arrival and always so helpful! Great team:)
15 November 2022 9:41
Always an amazing experience. Dr Folosea is just one of the best in the city. Caring, understanding, fun and very knowledgeable. Before going to Dundas West Animal Hospital, i had struggled with finding a vet for my dog for many years. Haven’t looked back since I came across these guys. Thank you for all that you do!
22 September 2022 10:48
The best vet experience I have ever had in my life. They were so amazing with my rescue dog, beyond patient, gentle and incredibly knowledgeable. For the first time I felt like a vet had my back and I didn’t have to worry about being taken advantage of due to my emotions. I am so pleased with the facility and staff at Dundas West I would highly recommend this vet. Thank you Dundas West for the amazing experience.
21 September 2022 4:46
Friendly people, but it's just expensive!
Update: PET KILLER.inexperienced vet, can't hear water in lung (there was a full cup of water) put my cat under while he was under stress and can't breathe, he died because of the inexperienced vet. Oh and didn't property inform me about the risks of putting him under, probably the vet is so inexperienced and didn't know. Killing my cat and costed me over $1000.
Expensive and Inexperienced

Dundas West Vet's came highly recommended and after two years they have not disappointed us! They are very kind, flexible, and I feel give us really amazing advice, that is not trying to take advantage of the love of our pet! They are quick to rebook appointments, and ok if we have to cancel. Most importantly they are lovely to our pooch! 10/10 service here, I highly recommend!
29 August 2022 18:36
Lovely staff, excellent doctors and they truely care for the animal patients. They're also great with the animal parents as well in that they are more than willing to thoroughly explain the treatment plan and procedures prior to treatment. They also provide payment options for people on assistance/EI/tight incomes. Wonderful veterinary hospital through and through!
05 August 2022 20:29
Dundas West is truly an incredible veterinary clinic. Everyone who works there is a consummate and genuinely caring professional. They have seen me through three serious emergencies in the past six months with extraordinary kindness. The vets follow up to monitor progress and provide emotional support. I am very fortunate to have my companion animals under their care.
01 June 2022 0:35
The most loving caring people! My dog gets a little vet anxiety and he was happy to be there! Very happy I decided to switch to this vet!
05 May 2022 3:23
I’ve been at Dundas West Animal Hospital for 2 pets now. The staff is great, the vets are outstanding. Even during the pandemic they were available for whatever I needed for the new puppy.
I highly recommend them if you’re in the area.
23 April 2022 17:41
Very clean place very well knowledgeable people this is a must to take your animals during the covid-19 pandemic but he had a really good system to help as best as I could I would definitely recommend everybody to take their animal to Dundas West Animal Hospital and by the way they do an amazing job on your dog's nails really good knowledgeable people
15 April 2022 19:18
Great experience so far. All the staffs are nice, friendly and give my babi a great care. Always give detailed explanations, instructions and follow-ups. Some reviews said it is quite expensive compared to the other vets but to me it’s worth the money
11 April 2022 15:54
Best vet in the city of Toronto. All of the doctors, technicians and staff are calm, friendly and know what they're doing. I have complete trust in them every time I drop off my baby.
08 April 2022 10:05
I recently had to change vets because I moved and chose Dundas West Animal Hospital. Would absolutely recommend! They were attentive, clear and upfront about pricing, followed up quickly and provided easy of mind. Thank you DWAH!
02 April 2022 9:34
Always attentive and professional. Our whippet/Italian Greyhound has been a patient since he was 12 weeks old. Trustworthy and reasonably priced.
25 March 2022 2:30
Such a lovely welcoming place! Fantastic service and staff. Quick, smooth and easy follow up care for my pup. Highly recommend.
24 March 2022 18:44
They took very good care of our cat. Cecilia was very helpful and nice. Highly recommend this place.
10 March 2022 6:30
I am so happy I chose to take my senior cat to Dundas West for a sudden pet emergency. They were so kind, patient and attentive. It’s difficult during Covid not being able to accompany your pet into the office, but they took the time to call to explain everything and answer all questions. The vet also took time to follow up a few days later to explain further test results and to check in to see how my cat was feeling. I have nothing but wonderful things to say.
25 February 2022 7:22
Amazing staff, vets and techs. Since bringing Olive to this clinic I have never felt so confident about a decision I have had to make for her health. Staff always on point to make sure I understand what is required and options I have. Never felt pressured or like I was being judged. They always hear me out about any concerns or questions I may have. They also haven't judged about me feeding her raw. Since feeding her raw she's has done better and looked healthier. I will always do what's best for my girl and Dundas West will be her clinic for as long as I have her. During this time as well Olive still wants me to go inside but unfortunately she has had to learn to be a big girl and go inside on her own. With or without me she comes out with her tail wagging and happy. Just further proves to me I can trust them with her without me around. Thank you to the amazing staff.
20 December 2021 18:41
I have been bringing my Baby Mindy, to Dr Alex for nine years. We have always been super excited to be a patient. Kimberley B and Dr Thrush (Dentist) are amazing. I always feel anxious when Mindie is not well. But, knowing the staff at Dundas West Animal Hospital are here to take care of her is a blessing.
They are always friendly and treat the pets as if they are their own. I wouldn’t trust Anyone else with my baby. Thank you to all the staff at your clinic.

I know they truly care when I’m walking down the street and the staff recognizes you and come right out of the restaurant to greet you and say hi to my dog!
28 November 2021 13:33
Took my cat Gia in for an emergency assessment today on short notice and they were very accomodating, compassionate and efficient. I was quite distraught (as any crazy cat daddy would be) and they really put me at ease. This is a good vet practice and the location is great for those that rely on public transit.
26 November 2021 15:55
After going with two of other vets in the city and having nothing but bad experiences, I switched over to Dundas West. My first visit with my dog was incredible. They were so organized, kind and actually treated my dog and me well.

Whereas other vets did not call us to discuss my dogs issues, the vet at Dundas West did call me and answer all questions that I had. We really enjoyed it and will be back!
09 September 2021 3:02
I really recommend DWAH for those who want excellence in vet care for their pets. The vets are knowledgeable, and the hospital has a good structure. They are kind, they listen to our questions, and are attentive to details. After I moved to Toronto, I took a while before I find the right place. Now I'm sure my cats have the best care they deserve.

Me and my cat mango where greeted at the door right away. The conversation about mangos was not rushed and I felt confident in the team.

Chance, my Black Lab was having a difficult health issue, and since moving to Toronto in March we were on the waiting list (due to covid) at a few Vet Offices, hoping that one of them would soon be able to see us. Because Chance's situation was worsening, I called Dundas West A. H.to see if there was any way that we could get in to see a Dr.sooner than just waiting. The helpful person at Reception asked what was happening (which I described), then asked me if I had Chance's medical records (6+ years of them, which I had in digitized form) ; she asked me to email them to the office and said she would discuss with the Drs, to see if we could be seen as soon as possible.

We were booked for a date 2 weeks later, and in the next few days our appointment was 'bumped' forward due to a cancellation, and I received a confirmation email with the written procedures to follow. For me, that was the beginning of being impressed with this Vet clinic.

Upon arrival for our appointment, Steve (Vet Tech) and an assistant were already waiting at the door (outside, due to covid) and Steve already knew what Chance's problem was, and briefed me on how we would be proceeding. All discussions with the staff so far were clear, respectful and helpful.

I stayed in my vehicle and only 20-25 minutes later I received the call from Dr. Krayz. She had performed the examination and from the discussion we had it was evident that she had read and acknowledged Chance's whole medical file! That impressed me very much.

Dr. Krayz provided options on moving forward with the issues, explained what the cost would be for each option, and I was very satisfied with Dr. Krayz' recommendation of blood and urine tests so we could obtain more information on what is happening in Chance's system. I received a call with the results of the tests the next day and we discussed how to proceed going forward.

I was very impressed and satisfied with the care and attention during every interaction with the staff at Dundas West A. H.and would highly recommend them.

Over charged every time. They never seem to diagnose issues just ask for more tests and eventually referrals to someone else.

You pay for piece of mind.
13 August 2021 8:56
The staff has been exceptional each and every time I have walked in the hospital doors. Whether it's to pick up some cat food or have an emergency visit for my cat (this was recent). Everyone really does treat all the animals as if they were their own. My sincere thanks - this time - to Dr. Bainbridge for his vigilance and in general, going the extra mile.
08 August 2021 21:01
I have never been to this animal hospital but walk past it at least twice every day. During the pandemic, I think you need to be much more cautious. You allow your clients to congregate on the sidewalk and, very very often, when your workers come out to talk to their clients, they block the sidewalk as well. Do the right and responsible thing and MOVE OVER! Please post a sign telling your clients to stay TWO FULL METRES back from the sidewalk. From my own experiences when walking throughout Roncesvalle, I have notice that dog owners seem think that they own the sidewalk and rarely move over, even for people with mobility issues or babies in strollers but. EVERYONE needs to do their part during Covid. Also, I get tired of seeing people waiting at your clinic who do not keep their dogs back from people walking by. I sincerely hope you address these concerns.maybe Bylaw needs to be informed.

I work in animal rescue and have used DWAH for both my dog and cat and have never been disappointed.

I received amazing support from Dr. Laura Merola after my cat was diagnosed with late stage kidney failure and oral cancer after having common oral issues that weren't able to be detected by blood work. Dr. Merola called personally to check in on Fran regularly and always was trying to figure out the right dose and mix of medication to make her as comfortable as possible. She always explained everything medically complicated in terms I could understand and sent referrals for specialists extremely quickly.

We recently moved out of Toronto to a smaller town and we honestly will greatly miss the staff at DWAH. Dr. Merola was so empathetic and kind — I'm grateful she was our vet during a horribly stressful and emotional time. I wish every companion animal could have veterinary support like Dr. Merola.
02 August 2021 6:31
We began out relationship with a euthanasia five years ago, but have continued on with healthier pets starting last year. The staff have been uniformly warm, caring and professional, traits we found lacking in our previous vet's practice. Highly recommended.
09 July 2021 8:38
I’ve been taking my dogs here for almost 7 years now. Since the very beginning they’ve always been very straight forward and friendly. They are always willing to work with your budget and timeline without putting on pressure. I’ve always felt very safe here and I trust my dogs here for emergencies and regular check ups. They are so kind! And reasonably priced. I’d be willing to travel pretty far to be able to stay with this vet clinic.

The lovely people at Dundas West Animal Hospital are the kindest, most conscientious professionals I've ever encountered. When we moved to the neighbourhood our dog was already a senior, and had been partially paralyzed and had to relearn how to walk. So we've seen a lot of vets! And although we had great service from our previous vets, Dundas West is in a class of their own.
Our dog is there *a lot*, whether for arthritis treatment, back problems, sudden allergic reactions that turn her face into a pumpkin*, or any one of the other myriad accidents and illnesses that seem to be her fate. Every single person at Dundas West is unfailingly kind both to our dog and to us. They never fail to follow up and help us make the best decision for her treatment (and we have had a lot of decisions to make, about a lot of treatments!)
Throughout the entire pandemic they have managed to maintain this same incredible standard of care, despite what must be overwhelming conditions. The vets' explanations are clear enough that even a stressed out pet owner dealing with an emergency (that would be me) can follow them, and their advice is always balanced and helpful. The vet techs and assistants and admin staff have a love of animals that shows in everything they do, and their patience and kindness at all times is honestly humbling. Our dog has always had a fear of vet clinics, and although she's still nervous going in, every time she leaves this clinic she's happy, less stressed, and suddenly wants to hang out with her new friends instead of running directly home (as she has at all of our previous vets).

I could probably write a novel about how great the staff are and what a difference they've made to our dog's life and to ours, but hopefully this captures some fraction of the gratitude that we have for all they've done for us!

We took our new greyhound to Dundas West Animal Hospital for his first vet visit in April 2021. We could not be happier. The staff was responsive and helpful. The Covid protocols were clear and made us feel safe. And the vet took a great deal of time with us to answer our many questions. It is clear that Dr. Bainbridge has a great deal of experience working with greyhounds, and we are grateful for his advice and treatment.
15 June 2021 17:24
Our beloved cat Patchy became quite ill this year with a urinary tract problem. It was a very difficult and emotional time for us as he developed serious, life-threatening complications. Dr. Laura Merola was his primary caregiver during this time and she was incredibly generous with her time and advice throughout. She would frequently call us just to see how he was doing. We were so appreciative of her patience with all our many questions and concerns. I am very happy to report that Patchy is still with us and doing great! We can’t thank Dr. Merola enough for her loving care and kindness of our dear family friend. She is highly recommended by us.and Patchy too.

I know my review will get lost in the sea of 5 stars, but I want to leave a review regardless because of how absolutely phenomenal DWAH has been for me and my cat, Pebbles.

I want to start off by saying that I had the amazing experience volunteering with DWAH many years ago, so I know how they operate behind the doors. There's no describing the level of affection the staff has for the animals, they treat them as if they are their own.

So when I got Pebbles, there was no question which vet I was going to go to! It was DWAH from the start. They have been phenomenal with her! They're always thorough in our annual visits, making sure we have all our vaccinations up to date, and helping to clean her ears. They've been kind and compassionate for all of my questions and concerns, which, I'm a pretty anxious cat mommy so I've had quite a few!

The only downfall.is that now that I have moved out of Toronto I have to try and find a new vet, and I don't think there's any place in the world that can even come close! DWAH has set the ball so high it's going to be difficult to find a new place to go to! We are going to miss DWAH dearly. DWAH will always be our #1.:)
24 May 2021 21:49
I'm so happy a friend recommended Dundas West for my senior dogs. I couldn't be happier with the service, doctor Do was so informative for all my questions no matter how big or small. The staff are very friendly.
12 May 2021 3:56
I can't really prove it. But i think they just told me my dog had cryptorchid because they wanted the money for neutering him. A curse on your family for ten generations. NEVER PATRONIZE HERE.
25 April 2021 7:00
The quality of care that both my kitten and I receive from Dundas West animal hospital is incredible. I am blown away every time. Every doctor that has handled my kitten has been extremely thorough, knowledgable, upfront and personable. My emails and concerns are generally addressed within hours. I visited other vets in toronto before I landed here and they weren't upfront about fees, weren't as accessible and I didn't feel cared for or my kittens issues explored as in depth even though the prices were so high. When my kitten had a couple of tiny lumps after her rabies shots a doctor checked her and spent a bunch of time just explaining things to me and providing reassurance- I was not charged for this check up or for her time. This place is so much more price friendly than others I'd been to, and just generally overall so friendly. Every time something has come up they've explained things to me with so much patience and made it simple to understand. There is so much genuine kindness present here. I'm really, really grateful that I found them.
19 April 2021 6:18
I have been a client of Dundas West now for nearly 12 years with 2 dogs. In the beginning, I tried a few other offices before being referred to here & I can honestly say that this clinic has the most professional, compassionate & caring staff. In health & in sickness for my pets, they have been there to share the ups & downs & everything in between to being a pet owner & I feel that I could not have gotten through some of the difficult times without these vets & all the staff. Last year, my boxer Hudson passed. It was quite sudden. The staff at Dundas West took incredible care of my family, including my other dog, when Hudson got sick. If you want people who truly care about their profession, the pets & the clients, this is the only vet clinic you need. I feel like they are all an extension of my family. So THANKFUL to everyone who works at Dundas West Animal Hospital.
15 April 2021 13:24
The staff at Dundas West are amazing. The vet has a great bedside manner with clients and always made me feel really well informed about what exams were taking place, what tests needed to happen immediately and which ones could wait. They were also always upfront about costs. I trust that my senior dog is getting the best care when he goes for his visits. Since covid humans are required to wait outside during exams but my pupper always comes back out to me happy and definitely full of treats! Love this place and so glad we switched from our previous vet!
13 April 2021 0:27
I have been coming here awhile now and Its the best decision ever. They are so gentle with your pet. They tell you exactly what they will do. They will take the time to answer All your questions. I highly recommend this place
06 April 2021 12:16
So far, this has been my best vet experience in the 20+yrs I have been a pet mom. The team at Dundas West Animal Hospital are on it! Detailed, thorough, caring, professional. They follow up, they call, they explain. Yes veterinarian services are expensive and we can't escape that, but for the first time I actually understand what I'm paying for. Thanks for your caring, compassion and expertise in keeping our furry friends healthy and happy! Highly recommend DWAH as your main vet without hesitation.
05 April 2021 5:33
This clinic is amazing. The whole team is very kind hearted and soft in how they handled our Sr dog (and us.) They were patient and are also capable to do so many tests on the spot like. Blood.ultrasound.etc. I love that they don't just assume anything and really dig into things with you. If you want the best care and kindness this is an amazing clinic. During pandemic you can't go in with your pet and our 14 year old is very timid. She had a lot of uncomfortable tests done and came out NOT shaking and completely calm. They also take a lot of time to call right then and communicate everything very thoroughly. Chica thanks you.
04 April 2021 18:03
I have lots of local vets to choose from in my neighbourhood but I drive a distance to this one because I have never met such caring people. I feel that they genuinely care about my dog and when he had a bout of serious illness they were with me every step of the way. I haven’t met a vet, vet tech or receptionist there who wasn’t lovely and well-informed. 5 stars.
21 March 2021 8:17
Our dog actually loves going to the vet since they treat her so well! If we walk by, she gets excited and wants to go in.
18 March 2021 19:41
Dundas West Animal Hospital, Dr. Scott Braithwaite and his team are hands down the best veterinarian services my fay and I have utilized. I have owned 8 dogs in my life and have been to vets all over Ontario and beyond including 5 vet services in Toronto alone. This team, before and during Covid are warm, caring, and professional with amazing communication. Thank you all for continuing to help keep Doug, Molly and Joni Mitchell healthy and happy.
08 March 2021 18:03
Unfortunately, I have to change my review from a more favourable one, as recent events have led to us leaving this clinic permanently.

What has caused us to leave this practice is ultimately a lack of informed consent in our pets' healthcare, culminating in an incident where an appointment was scheduled for us WITHOUT our consent being given.

Despite expressing my concerns that we were already NOT being listened to, we were THEN cocerced into keeping the appointment anyway.only for the clinic staff to COMPLETELY disregard the agreed-upon care plan at said appointment, resulting in the clinic failing to provide services that they had previously insisted were "important" for our cat's healthcare. (Essentially, what was supposed to be an ultrasoundby a vet turned into urine being drawn by a tech.) It was only when I followed up on my cat's lab results that I learned that the agreed-upon care plan was not followed, and it took a lot of pressing to get the clinic to admit any accountability whatsoever for making these changes without adeqautely informing us, or getting our consent to make changes to the care plan. If I did not have so much information in writing, I am fairly certain they would have continued to avoid taking any accountability whatsoever for this mistake.

As someone who has been the primary caregiver for 30+ cats over the last decade (my partner and I foster with a rescue organization, and have our own cats as well) I have unfortunately witnessed DWAH becoming more and more pushy when it comes to selling pet owners on a number of expensive treatments - things like dentals and ultrasounds - on ALL cats, at various ages and with various health concerns, without providing a true rationale for what diagnoses or concerns they're actually looking for. This worries me, frankly, as a DDX (diagnosis) should always be provided to pet parents; this is another element that has been missing from our cats' healthcare for a long time now. The only rationales I have heard for specific treatments are "we have a sale on" or "it would be nice to run this test. "

On top of the above, I vividly recall overhearing a conversation between Scott (the clinic owner) and another person, where he was discussing buying a second or third boat. I do wonder if this is the impetus behind why some of these treatments are being pushed so heavily, and I worry that this level of inherent privilege is reflected in the way our pets' health care plans are shaped.

If you want to spend tens of thousands of dollars to run tons of tests and get imaging done for every small concern, DWAH is admittedly great for that.

For us, and the many cats we care for.the costs aren't our primary concern. Proper informed consent is. DWAH's lack of providing sufficient diagnotic information AND their lack of obtaining proper consent is why we're leaving.
03 March 2021 18:52
My dog Chewie gets top notch service. The team at Dundas West Animal hospital always treat him like a VIP. I wouldn't trust any other team with him.
26 February 2021 22:12
My puppy has been seeing Dr. Tristan Barran consistently since we got her and she’s always received great care with the Dundas West team. Communication and follow ups have all been clear and timely. During covid with curbside pickup/drop off only, the vet tech team ensures she’s comforted and reassured. I get an update on how she behaved and handled the appointment in addition to my discussion with Dr. Barran. Highly recommend the team at Dundas West!
09 February 2021 16:31
An excellent experience! As the son of a veterinarian I have perhaps slightly unrealistic expectations of the level of service, and yet these were totally met! The team is extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. Follows up with test results promptly. The doctor was thorough and listened to all of my concerns and was never pushy. The online booking system is super convenient for keeping track of appointments and I like that the clinic sets reminders that I can see about important milestones and prescriptions. I've never been into the facility since we got our pup during the pandemic but if the exterior is anything to go by I suspect it is top notch. I think putting out heaters in the winter was such a great added touch for people waiting for their pets to finish up their appointments.
01 February 2021 18:18
They're always friendly and helpful over the phone, and my vet (Dr Do) has always taken the time to return my calls and has even checked up on how some medications or new foods are working for my cat. Their appointment price is a bit higher than some vets but I find that the level of care that comes with it to be worth it. Their prices for tests and procedures are very reasonable and they try to keep the costs as low as possible for me (such as bundling certain tests together). They've always been honest and have never pushed me to run any tests or do any treatment, but they always inform me of my options.
29 January 2021 18:51
DWAH has been our pet clinic for 9 years ever since we moved to TO. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vets that we met, Dr Bainbridge, Dr Folosea, Dr Kilburn, and discussed our concerns about our cat Maggie and just very recently our new kitten Bai, are nice people and genuinely caring. I trust their judgement. Everyone in the clinic really shows love and care about the animals and this is why I like this clinic so much.
12 January 2021 0:18
The staff at DWAH are very caring and thorough! They make sure you are aware of all your options for treatment, but I have never felt pressured into anything unnecessary.

Their curbside service during the lockdown is efficient and well-organised, I always feel that my pets are in good hands with them.
01 January 2021 19:22
Doctor Alex Folosea is extremely kind. Our dog is 15 years old and is not feeling well. He delivered some hard news but he said it in the softest way and gave us different options. We really appreciate your support during this time Alex.
29 December 2020 21:27
In my opinion, this is the best Animal Hospital in the city. I can't claim to have seen them all, but I've never experienced this kind of service and care in all my years of owning pets. They saved my brothers dog's life and didn't even charge him full price when he was a student. The service they show my 2 dogs and my cat is absolutely top notch - unbeatable. Despite having moved out of the area and into Etobicoke, I drive out of my way to go to the DWAH for all my vet-related needs. Highly recommend!
29 December 2020 13:59
I brought my cat there a month ago to get booster shots and a wellness check. I assumed it would be around $100. Then I am billed for $260 because of a fecal exam and probiotics. The vets I believe are trained to say it in a way as if they are providing it for free when in reality, it's a fee that adds up. I went again recently because my cat needed additional shots, and they tried to upsell me more products. WHAT! I had to inquire if there was a charge because again, it sounded like they were giving something for free. I had to mentally prepare to say no to any additional work. Each visit was with two different vets. This is my first pet, so is this a common practice among ALL veterinarians or just this place?
25 December 2020 21:28
Great service and support. The vet took time to explain everything to be and took great care of my puppy.
08 May 2020 14:17
Dr. Do is amazing. She supported us through the diagnosis and care plan when our dog was diagnosed with cancer. When it came time for us to put him down she was so kind. Wish I could give her 10 stars.
24 April 2020 8:27
Took my daughter's new car here for shots and a check up. The staff were wonderfully attentive, and super helpful in asking my questions regarding the cats temperament, diet etc. It's clear that these people care about the animals they see. I'd recommend to everyone.

I have been taking my cat to Dundas West Animal Hospital since he was a kitten and have had nothing but a great experience here. My cat is quite the wild one when at the vet (due to some traumatic experiences and generally being a stressball) but the team is aware and are always ready to examine him and get what's done regardless of his mood. For me, it's a pretty big deal that they have not turned him away due to his temperament.

He recently had surgery and experienced some ailments after, and the experience has been nothing short of stellar in terms of service. I had to take my cat back to the vet to get assessed and had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Krayz who provided me continuous updates and advice, always taking into mind cost and never pushing something that my cat may not need.

I have sent many emails, and had many phone calls and the team is always ready and willing to answer questions. Dr. Folosea is a very kind-hearted vet who has my cat's best interest at heart. He has called me several times to check in on my cat's progress. The clinic is also always willing to answer emails or look at photos of something if you are unsure.

My cat continues to make steady progress and I hope bounces back to his usual playful and snugglebug (yes, he's a totally different cat at home!) soon, but I am assured that he is in good hands as he recovers.

We've been going to DWAH for nearly 10 years and we're very happy with it. Their team is caring, attentive and skilled at what they do. Highly recommend.

If I could rate them 10 stars I would. First time taking my kitty there since she has been experiencing ongoing coughs. I had to change my vet as the old one spent very little time seeing and providing feedback. He had given me a diagnosis without any further explanation on prognosis or treatment - very cut and dry.
Dr Alex Folosea saw my kitty and spent a good 30 min analyzing her and explaining all possible causes/treatments/complications and answering all my question with patience and thoroughly - never felt like he was rushing out of the appointment. Prior to that his assistant analyzed Gouda thoroughly, asking me a lot of questions.
They assured me they will call to follow up on Gouda and will setup a follow up appointment. Never felt like they were trying to sell me unnecessary products/services.
I left their office feeling good about the whole situation - meanwhile my old vet had caused anxiety and uncertainty - they made me feel like all will be ok and my kitty is in good hands!
Dr Folosea is truly amazing! Thank you!

I love this clinic. I have had 5 animals (three still with me), and they have taken care of them all. The level of professionalism, compassion, care and kindness is absolutely stellar. From the front staff to the vets and everyone in between, the genuine concern they have shown my animals is just so comforting. I love that I will get calls the next day and through the week to check up on a pet who has been into the clinic, just to make sure they are alright. I have gone in with emergencies and they have immediately cared for my pet AND stayed open well past hours to ensure that my pet is stable and well enough to return home. I highly recommend Dundas West. They are just wonderful.

Last week, I brought my dog here for the first time. Our initial visit was wonderful, the vet and assistant were absolutely wonderful with my little pupper who likes to put up a fight. They took the stress of my wiggly puppy off my shoulders. The pricing is fair and competitive too. I have already recommended this vet to my friend. One of the best!

This hospital acted unethically during a dental procedure that killed a perfectly healthy dog. They do not ensure their machines are properly set up. A healthy dog died because their breathing machine was not checked.it was missing a piece - the dog suffocated to death. Make sure you don’t go here. They waited hours before contacting the owner on next steps to save the dog. They were not forthcoming. The vet tech who killed the dog moved to bloor west village animal hospital and is still allowed to practice. The entire facility however contributed to the dog dying. Don’t let your pet die here. Go somewhere where staff care. Despicable

The reviews on this hospital are spectacular meanwhile a women's dog was wrongfully killed during a routine check up here. Yet that has been completely silenced. Scary
