I went there earlier this afternoon, everything was perfect from the receptionist to the triage, to the great doctor, Dr. Amaize, who saw me. Nothing to complain, I don't have medical insurance, was surprised to see the quality of all the professionals for such a reasonable price.

The doctor refused to give me emergency contraception 2 days after having intercourse because he didn't believe in abortion

As someone who suffers from severe anxiety, and does not use walk in clinics often, I attended at this clinic today. I did not mind the wait which was lengthy. I was seen by the doctor who, despite being very busy, was thorough, well-informed and polite.

What will likely prevent me from using this clinic is the flippant and rude secretary. We are all busy and all have our issues; however, perhaps being in the medical field and dealing with thise who are not well, requires some improved bed-side manners. We overheard multiple complaints about her shortness with other patients during our wait. I have read other reviews on here which seem to echo my sentiments.

Extremely rude receptionist. Does not take my medical issues seriously, blames others and her boss for her not sending my X-rays, ultrasounds, and blood work to my family doctor. My doctor requested them a week ago and I told her that I have a very important appointment coming up. Tells me I’ll have to pay to have my scans sent. Complete lie. This is your job. She told me twice that she only has the reports and I had to vouch for myself on two occasions insisting that there are dozens of images which turned out to be true. Tons of unnecessary attitude when I am facing the hardest diagnosis of my life. Has her Indian takeout sitting out at reception. She should not work with people anywhere. I had an appointment and had to wait an additional 45 minutes. The doctor is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. It is a shame that she makes the experience here so poor. For reference she is a young blonde woman with an unmistakably disgusting attitude.

If I don’t have my scans sent I will be reporting the front for negligent malpractice.

I took my son to this clinic yesterday. This is my third or fourth time and each time was a pleasant experience EXCEPT for this last visit. The RECEPTIONIST was extremely rude, combative and unprofessional. I have never experienced such an unprofessional
and disrespectful person in the health care profession as I did in this visit. Although the doctor was kind and very helpful, I would highly recommend anyone to pick another clinic just due to the unprofessional and condescending manner of the RECEPTIONIST. I will provide one example, using profane language in front of children and discussing the strong smell of "weed" is not how a medical office should conduct business (and this ONLY one example of many that occurred at this visit). NEVER EVER AGAIN!

My experience at the Dundurn walk-in clinic was nothing but positive. The doctors were knowledgeable and professional, and the receptionist was kind and warm. Overall, the service was great, and I would go back for sure. I highly recommend.

*How can you say that I have chronic issues? I do not have any issues you said I had underlying issues (which would imply I need the test a requested) This is a terrible response. Can you elaborate your comment?

We have found another winner in Hamilton! Like these poor reviews say is all true. I just went there for blood work, and this doctor has told me that I have serious underlying health issues. And still refused to give me a form for a blood test. Definitely unprofessional and unethical.if I could tell you what this doctor was really like my comment would be removed.

The doctor who saw me was an older gentleman and was very knowledgeable - he gave me an accurate diagnosis very quickly when I hadn’t had the slightest idea what was afflicting me. Thanks!

I've only had great care here. Better than my G. P.at the time by a long shot: a doc there insisted on me following-up with a dermatologist, totally unrelated to my reason for being there. It caught pre-cancerous lesions my G. P.had refused me any referral for. I'm puzzled by all these bad reviews.

The med staff (physicians) is efficient and focused. But the receptionists are consistently RUDE, DISMISSIVE, COMPLAINING, and frequently OUT-OF-THEIR-DEPTH. Yes, Medical receptionists do not have much education, they are harried and under pressure, but complaining about the job/patients/doctors in front of the patients in the waiting room is very bad form. And talking about their DATES where we all have to listen, is embarrassing.
The clinic owners need to invest in older, calmer, WISER receptionists.

The staff are kind and friendly and they keep you updated about your appointments, Dr. Chaudry is very nice and I dont have any problem visiting this clinic at all, I can highly recommend this clinic. I have notice some of the bad reviews but so far I only experienced good service in my multiple visit here.there's one who wrote a review here I was there and he is the one whose rude when the receptionist say must wear a mask, he screamed and curse the receptionist.well before you make an appointment and its written big and boldly that is required to wear a mask.is it difficult to follow? It is for your own safety dude.

There's a new lady at the front desk. Rude and doesn't know much about health care. I, myself, am a nurse and watched her tell me that the form I needed signed, was something completely different and had to pay 100 dollars.also reported to be rude with my fiance, found out when he described her to me as I was venting. Since she's been there the phone goes unanswered very often. I would give this place a 1 star if it wasn't for the MD that I'm seeing. She is wonderful, however I haven't been able to get a hold of her, since phone calls are not going through or are not answered.

Like the staff and doctors there. When I am not able to see my own doctor, this is the 2nd best place

Enjoyed the multiple visits I’ve had here. Once had to wait a bit in the room until a Dr came, but the receptionist was always super kind. Drs nice as well!

I can only comment about Dr. Hadcock and it boils down to I have nothing but positive things to say. He has a great disposition, is genuinely compassionate and loves his patients. I have been seeing him for many years and have never felt rushed or ignored. As for wait times more often than not I have left his office minutes before my actual appointment time. But in this kind of business, waiting comes with the territory.

Here's a quick tip for this place. Multiply the given wait time by 8. For instance, if they say it's about a 15 minute wait, it's actually 120 minutes. And that is only the wait time to get into a room. Once you're in a room, you'll be waiting for roughly an eternity. And then when the Dr finally makes it to you, you have a 30% chance that they are competent. Only reason to come here is that you're the rare breed who likes to twiddle your thumbs. Avoid avoid avoid.

Horrible time schedule.
Ive been to this clinic 3 times hours before they close and they were closed. So I spent my time and gas for nothing.

Have been there a few times, and the service has ranged from acceptable to excellent. The receptionist has, when I asked for help, been exceedingly helpful and explained my options are, and the doctors have been considerate and empathic.

They told me to come in for a follow-up.and then they made me wait and then refused to see me. Should've read the reviews.

Garbage clinic with incompetent doctors. They wont diagnose you properly or give you the right treatment because they want you to keep coming back because every time you do they get paid by OHIP. You'll also be lucky to get the same doctor twice and each will be more arrogant and obtuse than the last. AVOID. You've been warned.

My family and I have always been welcomed and provided efficient service. Nearly zero waiting-time on all visits, doctors ultimately acted fairly professional with patient-first attitude. Felt being treated by my family doctor.

Myself and the family have used this walk in clinic over the years. Recently I was in and as it was Sunday and not busy I was seen within about an hour. However, in the end, I still need to go see my regular doctor, and have since seen a family doctor and am now going for an ultrasound. The doctor on duty would not give me the requisition to get one done, so unfortunately I have to wait to get in for this test, and I'm still in pain.

Staff were friendly and service was reasonably efficient. They were able to refer me to a specialist on the same day.

Terrible service. Came in with excruciating pain from a broken tooth/ abscess. Wait time was astronomical. Young doctor with purple hair came in looked at it.and told me to take naproxen. What a joke. I should have gone to pharmacist and probably got better attention.

I've been reading the reviews and thought I should write my experience down. I have been to this clinic several times over the years and have always had a good experience. Yes, sometimes the staff is exhausted and that can maybe come off as rude, but they have been working long hours and dealing with sick people all day, they are people too. The doctors I have seen have always been professional and do what they believe to be right. They also are tired, over worked and under staffed. Today I called with an embarrassing question and the receptionist couldn't have been lovelier. She put my mind at ease, told me which day I should come in to make sure I got a doctor who had experience with my issue. She genuinely made feel so much better just by communicating her concern and understanding. I know clinics can be hot or miss, but this one has always been very good to me and I recommend it to others all the time.

Beware:
I went here a while ago to complete testing required for nursing school. I inquired about coverage and was told it was not covered, I continued happily but learned later from classmates this was supposed to be covered. I called the clinic and explained my situation, asking if maybe they has misunderstood my original situation. I was told it was not covered, however upon further research I learned it should be and filed to get my 400 dollars back.
I recieved this and a statement that it should have been covered. Today I went there in a pinch but was turned away and told to go somewhere else. I knew inmedietly why this was flagged. I meant no harm and only wanted my rightful money back for coverage.

I do not believe this is legal and will be looking further into it.

Useleass doctors and too much wait time I don't know what is doctor doing may be he is dancing in the room or playing in laptop, in my life this is first time I visite like this type of medical facility. I inform of all of you if possible don't come to this clinic. I am surprise with doctor what he is doing I am waiting more then 3 hours in clinics.

The receptionist is really nice, but the doctor here is awful. Came in first thing at 9 when they opened and could hear the doctor chatting with the woman in the next room for 45 minutes. Spent less than 3 minutes with me. Then found out from pharmacist that the prescription she gave me had been discontinued for years.

I got there on Sat and the card paying machine was not working and I did not have cash wish me. I went back on Sunday and there was a close sign on the door before 5 pm (4.45) and no new patient was accepted while their schedule is until 6 pm on Sundays.

Very unprofessional at the front desk. My guess is it’s either complete ignorance from lack of training or straight arrogance. I had what I suspected was glass stuck in my foot. Couldn’t get in to see my regular GP so I went here. If they knew they were not equipped to remove something from someone’s foot, someone should’ve informed me of that upon arrival. Instead I sat for 2 hours in the waiting room and 45 minutes in the clinical room just for a doctor to tell me to seek medical attention elsewhere. My own fault I suppose should’ve went to urgent care to begin with, I ended up waiting twice as long as I should’ve that night. Place is also very uncleanly, would like to see someone at least change the paper on the exam table between patients.
