The BEST experience ever! We were selling, buying (out of province), porting, bridging.tight timelines due to extensions and an out of province lawyer and I was panicked. Glenn took time out on a holiday to meet with me to get things signed. Margaret is a life saver and so patient with my questions and tears! I saw good reviews and used Dunsmuir Ridler for a family law issue and i'm impressed on how well he handled it. His advice was spot on and he cautioned me away from dead ends that l was adamant about. It would have costed me a lot of unnecessary expenses with little to no benefit. Instead he went about better alternatives I'm guaranteed to win. Admittedly its easy to get contentious when dealing with family law. Felt like l was having a beer with a buddy that had good advice. So good on him not leading me on like a cash cow.

Having had a bad experience with a home sale many years ago I particularly appreciated their awareness of my stress level and their reassurances. I used Dunsmuir Ridler for a family law issue as well and purchase an sale of property. The family law issue turned out to be a lengthy one and through out that whole time till it's conclusion, Glenn, Tara, Alyssa, showed empathy, care and concern. They really walked my through an emotional issue caused by the problem.
Margaret, Michelle and Caitlin also worked the sale and 2 purchases of my house. The same care, friendliness and responsiveness to emails and phone calls was excellent. They too helped walk me through a process that for family law (I never went through) and Real Estate (that had been decades ago) were excellent. Price was reasonable and would recommend the firm. They are definitely not the stereo type of a legal firm. I would highly recommend. They do really care.

I contacted this law firm after a painful family event. Talked to Glenn and he told me that I would be dealing with Daniel there. I was unsure at first but Daniel was great. He always had time to explain every step to me. He was extremely detailed and does his best for his Clients. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. In my mind it was money well spent. I am updating my review below removing what I feel are important facts, as it appears In my opinion that if you have something positive to say about a lawyer here you can use their name etc, if not you can't as in my opinion they don't tolerate negative reviews, threatening their clients, me, with legal action for voicing their opinion and the facts as I see it as a customer. Expecting me to remove my negative review. Not the kind of service provider I'm looking for going forward.

I had a Will done by a lawyer at this firm at first everything was great but I had asked for my original Will back after signing. Everything was virtual due to covid. I didn't realize til I had to go to the office to sign a revised Will that I hadn't and had been given a copy instead, totally useless to me and the lawyer tried to keep my original again. Said lawyer became angry and not for the first time either becoming very unprofessional in my opinion. I was overcharged in my opinion. I will never use this firm again.

Alyssa Mitha, did the Will and Power of Attorney for me and my wife. I am very satisfied with the job that she did for us.
All through the process, she was very professional and patient. She was very quick and thorough in all the communications we had. The documents that Alyssa prepared for us were thorough and comprehensive. Alyssa was very patient in answering our questions and concerns.
Overall, Alyssa Mitha did a fantastic job for us.

We received fantastic service from start to finish on a straightforward probate matter re my father's estate - courteous, compassionate, reasonable hourly rate, very thorough with a quick turnaround. The required application was filed with the court within a week of our first consultation, with many other estate-related questions patiently answered as well! Previously twice called a different Newmarket law firm that had done my parents' wills within the past 4 years – was asked a lot of upfront questions then wasn’t able to book an appointment over the phone anyway, and no-one bothered to return either of my calls, so I moved on.
