Dutch Love Cannabis

I've been frequenting this Blue Bird since it took over from Dutch Love. What an awesome team! They're very welcoming, super helpful, and have some great recommendations (even for those of us who know what we like). They ran out of my "go to" product a few weeks ago and when I walked in this morning one of their lovely staff remembered and was happy to tell me they have it back in stock. Always a great experience! Highly recommend.

It's illogical to ask someone for their ID when they look like they are 45 years old. I look over 40. I am 42. You are selling something that people consume to relax. How about you relax a little.

What happens when you have a 70-year-old client? Are you still asking for ID to make sure they are not a minor?

Went for the Roll & Bowl Budtender event, was incredible. Great staff and great location.

Andy was very helpful throughout the entire shopping experience. Nice store, reasonable prices, great service.

The delivery hours on the website are wrong. They have known about it for a while and never fixed it. Other than that they're good.

Hobo is superior to the other two dispensaries in Ottawa, with by far the best store layout. They have 3+ tables with full smelling samples of over 20/30 different products, and a full staffed team that is ready to help with whatever you may need. It is possibly best described as the "Apple store of weed", and there is no surprise to why they sell out of product week in and week out.
As for my personal experience there, I was greeted by friendly employees at the entrance, where I was checked for ID. A gentleman named Francis was incredibly helpful in helping me choose the right product, as I wanted something that would relax me and allow me to rest without passing out. Francis, and the Hobo dispensary employees in general, seem all very well-informed about the details and nuances of their products, and definitely inspire confidence in their business.

As long as Hobo is open, no other dispensary deserves your business.

I went to Hobo today. Slightly disappointed by the choice of name, however, that being said. I AM a social injustice advocate against homelessness. I live in the real world.quickly got over it.would like to know how the name came to be. I loved the modern earthy feel.the staff were professional and only the greeter was super friendly, and I liked that professional advisory feeling from the rest of the staff.
I was with my partner who struggles with anxiety.hence the weed buy today. He couldn't handle the enormous crowd, however. Some great staff redirected us to the basement which is equally as nice and welcoming as the main floor. I liked the key on the screen to what kind of weed to use according to what kind of high you'd like to achieve without calling it "high".
I didn't get a chance to stay and buy.but I'll post my review after. Cheers to the 420 lovers!

A weed store that rarely has cannabis in stock is as much use as a chocolate teapot.
The product is like dust it's so dried out.
Hard to recommend until things even out and the supply can meet demands.

I'm not sure what I was expecting. But I was very pleased with what I found. It is a clean, crisp, modern establishment. It beautifully melds technology with great customer service. If you're comfortable with tech they have several tablets around the store for you to use. With them you can place your order and peruse the stores catalogue of merchandise. You can even search by what mood you're hoping to achieve. If you prefer to talk to a person there are knowledgeable staff available to answer any questions that you might have.
From the Greeter at the entrance to the Cashier at the check out, a thoroughly wonderful experience.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and the place looks very clean and professional. I will definitely be comming here again.
I much prefer the in store transaction over ordering from the OCS web store.

I don't know where is this good customer service comments come from but my experience had not been good the 2 times in the store, just a rush and dismissive experience walked out of there with nothing so far, I don't know if I should give them a third chance

First time going there, loved it. Felt like i was in the apple store but even better The employees are so nice especially Mustafa! He was so helpful and so friendly/Charming.

Let me begin by saying the store is very clean and love the bamboo and zen like look but that's the only thing going for this store.

The menu was extremely different and rather seperate strains by indica, sativa, high THC or high CBD, they created their own system of "mood" style menu.

Secondly if you want to get prompt service, you best get in line right away. The problem is that while your in line, you can't see the screens behind the counter to help you make your selection.

I was left in complete confusion as to which strains were high THC and witch ones were high CBD, therefore left without purchasing anything and returned to my usual Ottawa Canada dispensary.

I will not be returning at this dispensary.

This store never has what I am looking for, even when checking multiple days of the same week. Last week they were at the door warning that they had basically nothing.

There are staff standing all over the place doing nothing. The very young cashier upstairs was not able to suggest anything, when they did not have any of the kinds I was looking for. The guys who work at the counter downstairs are ok, if it is even open.

All in all, its a weird environment, and not one that I want to buy weed in.

First time going to hobo yesterday and I was really impressed. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The layout and the look of the store are nice. Love the fact that there is a second floor. Reading all the reviews kind of makes me mad due to the fact that people are giving hobo bad reviews because of the stock and the pricing which is out of there control. Will definitely be returning, thanks again hobo.

Went to Hobo and was very pleased with my experience. The set up of strains was great and the staff was very helpful, making you feel at ease and giving honest suggestions of the products while still trying to find something that fits your needs. Orders were fulfilled quickly and accurately, and staff let you take a look at the product before going through with the purchase. If you’re in the area, I 10/10 reccomened going in and taking a look.

I visited this place last week and it was a very pleasant experience although I don’t smoke. Thank you Mustafa for the tour. Great staff and very friendly.

Seems like a little unprofessional atmosphere too many kids behind the desk lots of judgemental looks. I didn't come in to be judged on how cool I was I came to get some weed hahahaha. Put on the flip they do have a good selection and it's clean

Kind staff, fair prices (compared to most dispensaries), good looking store. All around great experience. Very charismatic manager. I'd highly recommend "White Widow" a higher end strain with great pricing

Nice place but if the Gvmt thinks this is going to end the black market they need a reality check. With prices like this they are reinforcing the black market. Can get four times as much for same price AND freebies to test out new strains. Epic fail frankly, wont be returning, nor will I visit any other dispensaries certainly not with pricing like that lol leave it to the gvmt to screw it up, well done! We are talking about banning single use plastics, but the gvmt is selling 3.5gs in a nice single use screw top plastic container, can we return them for a refund? No. Want 7, get 2 containers lol a qt, 4 of them! Just overpriced and extremely wasteful, but what to expect from our gvmt, certainly not something that works.

Garbage how are you a pot shop with no pot in the store they literally had nothing and were not helpful at all store pretty much empty yet recieved no service what so ever would not recommend or go back here again

Despite being low on product, my first experience couldn't have been better. The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and eager to help. Any questioned was answered with little hesitation, and alternative were suggested to replace the product I was shopping for. Beyond generous, bright and comfortable energy. 10/10!

Been there twice in middle of afternoon and both times they say they are closed because waiting for shipment.
Not run properly and very unorganized.

Excellent store, the best in Ottawa. Great selection and solid prices. The product was outstanding in terms of quality and potency. The store was easy to use and they had no interest in needlessly wasting my time.

Update: Unfortunatly HOBO is dropping the ball in terms of supply and availability. There are few options to choose from now and the store randomly closes, even while I was entering. A good start for a cannabis store, but now they are a step away from useless.

As I walked in I was greeted and I. D and told to go in. It's set up similarly to an apple store with all the herb in small containers so you can look smell and see the strains the thc and CBD content. I've been to fire and flower in the market only to have 3 poor experiences. But this place the experience was amazing. And everything was out to see smell and get the stats where the other dispensary the set up is difficult to handle with the customer service reps are rude and not helpful. Will definitely be returning to this place! Amazing bud amazing staff.

3.5 g for $70!
Grabbed a couple grams of some low thc%, high cbd.didn't even get high.if you're looking for mediocre green, for astronomical prices. Hobo is the place for you!
