Love being a twenty three year customer of this wonderful hilltop country market. This year's addition of gourmet smashed burgers and fries brings a lot of visiting value beyond the best lemon ricotta scones and simply the most wonderfully healthy fresh bread to be found. The whole family went and enjoyed the time in the outdoor eating area, overlooking Dundas Valley from the hill top view. Really appreciate the new addition, hopefully those burgers recipes, and buns find be their way to the shelves for the winter months. Great customer service always too.
Reason for a 3 star is the wait time for the burgers. After ordering this past Friday, we waited over an hour for our 3 burgers! The burgers were delicious yes, but the wait time was waaayyy too long! Many people ordering before us and we somehow were the last to receive our order!
The instructions for cooking the lasagna needs to be reviewed. Cooked as instruced and it was still frozen in the centre after 75 minutes. I think you have the oven temp incorrect. Costs of items for a rural shop are on the very high side compared to other rural shops that we have visited. Won't be going back.
I asked about the sugar level used in apple pie and the owner Michelle gave me free Aple pie to try it. I also got few cons free as first time buyer. Their Pie is amazing to my taste will definitely go back there.
Came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how much variety of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, and even meat! They also have lunch menu items available and definitely will try that next time!
I've been coming here for years for the best sweet corn in the area. Over the years they've added more and more products including pies, butter tarts, prepared food and beef. Now they have a hamburger stand open on weekends that serves the best smash burgers and fries. Try the "David" burger with smoked brisket on top of the patty.
Dyments Market now offers fresh smash burgers! Named after members of their family. We tried the Betty and the Dave.both were deelish. Then pop into the market for dessert!
Cute little market with a variety of baked good, fresh and frozen items, a nice selection of fruits and vegetables and canned items. It was also clean.
I look forward to them fixing their debit terminal to not request tips. The owner or manager said that they were waiting for that to be removed.
Regularly visit Dyment's market and bakery specifically for their butter tarts. This latest visit had some of the best if not the best tarts I've ever had. My waistline and belt are ashamed of the number of butter tarts we eat but very worth it for the flavour of the filling and the almost velvety texture of the crust.
