We absolutely loved dealing with Katie on Saturday. She was informed, quick, and very professional in helping us set up a non for profit storage unit and mailbox.

We got a tour of the place and were very pleased with the outcome.

We returned in Sunday to store our boxes and supplies. The code worked flawlessly as sold and we quickly used the carts to store everything upstairs.

I love the personal touches with the street names for the unit rows. Very unique!

I had no idea that Dymon got into home organization and accessories. We stopped in for some boxes and they have a whole store of home stuff, they also do custom kitchen design and closet organizers. Very cool. We'll be going back to check out their prices and quality of their items when we have more time.

Staff is great here. The young lady who helped me rent 2 storage knew her way around and made it easy. Spent ~10k for 2 big storage for 9 months.

My first time dealing with Dymon was and continues to be amazing. I moved a locker from Walkley Road to Kanata December 16th and coming from a customer service career off 33 years, have never experienced such quality customer service. The associates at Walkley were amazing Daniel I believe, and the truck driver who shuttled my packages over (Patrick) during our big snow storm were timely efficient and polite. I will be singing your praises Dymon, thank you.

Contacted this place for custom cabinetry. Gave my contact info. No follow-up. After a while went back again to remind them. Finally I received a contact email. I supplied all required info. After some back-and-forth emails I was offered VIRTUAL appointment times: Mo to Fri from 9am to 5pm. Really DYMON? Most of us work during these time! Especially it was supposed to be a virtual appointment so she could have done it from anywhere, including her house.
The employees here seem to have forgotten how to treat a customer.

Had KN95 masks for. 97 ea. Great community service. Went back for more for family and they had gone up to 1.99. I understand, but it was still a shock.
Nice storage container store though.

I am incredibly impressed with my order. I placed an order last night and had my items delivered today. They don’t use a courier service which speeds things up big time.
Also, the gentleman who delivered them was very polite and went the added step to call me after noticing the doorbell didn’t ring properly in order to let me know that my items were at the door.
Very impressed with Dymon’s level of service today. Thanks!

UPDATE OCTOBER 14,2021
Dymon reached out to me after this posting and we arranged for a contractor to come and repair damaged items as agreed. Today contractor came and was able to resolve most damaged items, awaiting one more to come to repair the last. We seem to be back on track and I am now upgrading review from 2 to 3 stars. Took some time and effort to resolve this but now well on its way to completion.

ORIGINAL POST BELOW:
I used Dymon both for storage and for moving services this summer. Moved from a home to a condo, with a bit of a wait in between. So I used moving services two times within a few weeks, with my possessions in storage at the Kanata location. Initial move out went well. However the move in to new home several weeks later was awful. A lot of damage to my items. All my possessions went directly without any damage from my first home, to Dymon storage (I did not enter the storage unit in the interim) and then many items came back unwrapped from moving blankets I purchased to protect (at an additional cost of nearly $400) and many of those items damaged when brought to my new home. Many of the items were completely unwrapped from the blankets I purchased, totally voiding the whole idea (and expense) of purchasing wraps at additional cost that were to stay on the items until they reentered my new home.

I reported the damage the day after the 2nd move. Waited 3 WEEKS for an initial response and at that time I actually had a good conversation with their rep. He apologized for all of the issues and we agreed upon a solution, which included having their contractor fix damage to several furniture pieces. Their ballpark for contact and appointment to fix was @ 1 to 2 weeks. We are now 3 weeks from that resolution call date late August and NO REPLY to several emails asking for an update. Just requesting a simple update as to the claim status. And no contact as well from the agreed upon contractor to do the repairs. As I've had no communication from Dymon I don't even know if the contractor knows of the requested repairs.

Dymon Storage - I will not simply go away. I will continue to follow up regularly and then move up the management ladder until I have the repairs done that were promised. And I will update my review when (and if) there is a resolution to the issues that your representative so very clearly apologized for and "wanted to make right" almost a month ago (and nearly 2 months since damage occurred).

We can totally say that DYMON was the best decision we made to help our move/downsizing into a smoother process. Loved the ease of storage and access. Clean and efficient no matter what the weather was like outside. Will def recommend DYMON to our friends.

Worst place to go unload something with a big truck. Only 1 loading dock and almost always occupy the dock them self or other people in there. They need to have a time limit for the.trucks to be in the loading dock

The customer service was outstanding and we would definitely recommend Dymon in Kanata as a location to store everything including valuables.

Call 1: Called to book a mover and unit 20 days in advance. Was told that units and trucks could only be booked 5 days in advance. Ok.

Call 2: Called 5 days in advance, they quickly booked and had payment processed for a unit, then after told me the system showed their moving vehicle was unavailable for the day I booked the unit on. I was told they would confirm if it was available and they would call me back later that day to confirm.

Calls 3-5: these consisted of one call a day over the next days as I called them, they would tell me they couldn’t confirm availability and would call me back that day. They never did.

I was finally told 2 days before I needed the vehicle that it was not available. I said this is ok, but due to the run-around, late notice, and non-availability on their end due to their booking systems, could they move my included vehicle to my move out date? I was told no.

I then spoke to a manager about the experience who listened to what had occurred, then explained that this situation had been tabled for internal follow up but there was nothing he could do to move the vehicle to my move out as this was against the rules.

As a result I requested my contract be terminated with a full refund, which they did oblige. I ended up smoothly ordering a unit from a competitor later that day which had no issues booking a unit and driver.

Dymon customer service then called me the next day noting that they had noticed my cancelled order, and offered a moving vehicle for the time I had requested. I informed them that I had rectified their problem by finding services with another company.

The only reason this isn’t a one star is because the staff were very polite and understanding, if ultimately unhelpful, and the company did process the refund smoothly.

We rented two units here. They are not cheap, but after comparison shopping in the Ottawa area, we feel they offer the best in class. Easy access, secure, enclosed/heated drive in area. Climate controlled units throughout. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

I have had my goods stored here for nearly two years. It has been a nightmare. My payments rarely go through on time due to banking errors admittedly on their end, and by the time I've found out I've already been charged multiple late fees. Not to mention how ridiculous the rates already are. I paid nearly 250$/month for my storage and I that isn't even the largest unit. Yes, it's nice that it's indoor and temperature controlled, but if there are other options available, I implore you to look at them too. The employees are nice enough in store, not so helpful at the corporate level. I am glad to finally be out of there. Save yourself the grief, and downsize your assets instead of storing things you have no use for. Very expensive lesson learned.

The costumer service has always been exceptional and friendly. The facility clean. I am renting a storage locker and they have been great from start to finish.

I admit it's a bit expensive but the storage units are super clean, secure, and the place is obviously well-maintained and under 24/7 supervision. The units on the third floor involve these crazy long isles and actually have 'street' names posted as it would really be easy to get lost if you don't pay attention, lol.

I have a training course at this location and the boardroom was extremely cold that I can not wait to leave. It is too cold outside and too cold inside. I do not recommend having a meeting or a training at Kanata location unless you have your Jacket on. Very bad experience. Randy.

I've dealt with storage units before, and I thought I knew what I was getting into when I tried out Dymon. I could not have been more wrong. Every person we talked to at Dymon had top notch customer service - friendly, helpful, but not pushy AT ALL. The facility itself is very clean and inviting. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again myself without hesitation should the need arise. Fantastic company!

I am really impressed with this operation. Free pickup, they do charge you for truck to leave, but service is very friendly and eveything is smooth. Will definitely use this service again if I ever move again. Kudos to the kanata dymon team

Poorly run by Management. I liked that the facility was clean, and under surveillance, however; the customer service was atrocious. Nobody responds to your emails, or calls. I could not wait to move my belongings from this location!

Great setup, but sadly laking a garbage bin! The unit was too small and not estimated properly, but the facility itself is great. Price of unit was not the best price in the world either!

The facility and staff at Dymon in Kanata are on POINT!

Sydni got me all setup and then continued to provide an awesome experience with every visit, Heidi was warm and greeted me personally whenever I was there. I've since cleared out my unit as it was a temporary solution for us, I already miss going there and might find an excuse to get another unit in the future.

We've had storage units there for a couple of years and love that we can access them at any time and park inside for moving things in and out. The building is always clean and we've always experienced friendly helpful staff when buying any of their moving supplies.
We purchased closet storage systems that were just installed by Brian and Kevin. They were both friendly and professional, and we are thrilled with the results!

I moved my things into storage this past summer as I was just about to move out of province and didn't know when things would be shipped out to me. The staff at Dymon made my experience seamless. Not being there to facilitate things like giving my notice or handing over my keys, they were accessible not only to me as I was inquiring about processes but also kind to my family who were the ones dealing with everything on my behalf. I am thankful to them for being patient with us and for making this move very very easy. I would highly recommend them and this facility!

Clean efficient facility. Climate controlled and secure. We used dymon leading up to a move and the value was there and we would recommend them should you need a storage solution.
