Horrible customer service! I went in last week to pickup a urine collection container. Before I could even say "hello" the woman (around 30+, black) yelled "WE DON'T TAKE PATIENTS AFTER 4: 45" so I told her I'm not here for bloodwork and that if they close at 5 they should be able to take me at 4: 45 (the place was empty) but whatever, not my reason for going there. Then this woman was stomping around the office because she didn't know where the containers were. What a joke.

The next week they called my secondary number for some reason so obviously I did not receive the call. When I tried calling back, it would ring for a few minutes then someone would DISCONNECT the line. This would happen over and over. I called from 2 different phones, hitting redial over and over for an hour straight. How am I supposed to call you back if you don't answer the phone?

Great lab friendly service staff are very professional I came here with my father who close to 80. The service I received here is one of the best services I ever seen. I am vey impressed keep up great work team. Well organized management ️️️️️Compare to life lab in Scarborough at 1371 Neilson Rd unit 102. Had been here for my blood test. Wait time was like less than 2mins. Sharmin who drew my blood was very good at her work and was friendly and kind.

I went to another Dynacare location twice for a specific type of test and both times my blood was discarded as the tech didn't communicate the specialty test with the lab.
After 2 months of no results, I went to the Pickering location and met Berna. I told her my situation and the incomplete testing which I already paid for. Berna took ownership right away and communicated with billing, the testing lab, and others so she can ensure the test is done correctly.
Thank you BERNA for the amazing service and dedication in helping me get the results required! Customer service at its finest!

Went for an ECG a week ago and doctor or the dynacare plus app still dont have the reports yet. Moreover i have tried calling this location multiple times but they never answer their phone. I usually go to the oshawa or ajax location and never have such a bad experience. Never coming back to this location again

This place is busy, wait time is over one hour. Not sure if the staff are rude or overwhelmed with handling too many clients. You don’t have any choice other then going to this place.

What an amazing place. I wish and hope every facility runs like this place.

First of all, I was 4th person in the line and the staff opened the door and welcomed everyone. As she was checking each person's requisition, she said "good morning" and welcomed again and directed person to where to go sit. The process was very fast and smooth.

Kim Santos was my laboratory technician. I was doing my post-annual physical check-up blood work, ECG. As there were many tubes of blood to be taken, she made sure that I was comfortable and took blood samples without any pain. Then she did my ECG. Explained the process well and ensured that all processes went smoothly.

As I was there quite some time (due to my multiple tests and I signed up for Dynacare plus) I noticed all other staff were very nice to each visitor. Politely answering any questions they had.

KUDOS to Kim Santos and other staff at this facility.

I did blood work and an ECG, on a Wednesday afternoon, was in and out in 20 min. Checked in using the app, this let me bypass the 5-6 people waiting in the waiting room. Tech was courteous. Smoothest and quickest lab work ive ever done.

One of my favourite place for blood work. If you want to get service early try to check in when you are on the way for them. Simple way to check in online and less waiting time. The staffs are very friendly and organised

Honestly, this place is amazing! The service is day and night vs Lifelabs! Super organized, friendly, kind staff - you quickly get checked in and such a small wait time to get your blood drawn. The staff who drew my blood was so nice and patient with me. She kept talking to me throughout the process to make sure I didn't faint which I was impressed. I will be returning and using this location instead of lifelabs from now on.

This is typically where I go to get blood drawn and I have never had an issue until today. My dr faxed a requisition over that they refused to complete because it was unreadable in some parts (understandably). My issue is that rather than call the dr office or call the patient to get a clear copy when the bad req arrived, their process is just to upload the bad req into their system and then deny you service when you come to do it. Why would you upload a requisition you have no intentions to complete? Instead of letting someone know that it hasn’t come in clearly you let the patient waste their time coming in, waste their energy fasting for blood tests for a bad requisition that has been sitting in your system for 5 days. And I heard the lady at the front tell another worker who questioned it that she saw it was bad when it came in, but their instructions are just to upload it anyway. What a terrible process

I went to get a blood test done, the test was poorly done and left a huge bruise on my left arm that turned purple a couple hours after the test. It was very clear where my vein was, not only did it hurt when she inserted the needle but my arm bled a lot after the test. Staff should be trained again on how to insert needles safely.

Great experience. I was keeping an eye on the wait time online and I checked in online with the wait list at about 15 minutes. Left my house, drove to the clinic and I was in and out of the clinic in 5 minutes. Extremely organized process online as well as in the establishment. After hours of waiting in the ER and for check ups and other appointments it was a breath of fresh air to be able to do something so easy and quick with a process that’s courteous to my time. Everyone was very polite and efficient also.

I’ve been to a few Dynacare locations to have bloodwork done but the Pickering location just never fails me! They can get busy at times but are very quick and effective at their jobs.

I was recently participating in a study that required me to have my blood drawn every few months and there was an additional document I was supposed to give them along with my blood requisition.

For my most recent blood draw, Helina the tech took it upon herself to follow up with her management team as well as the individuals hosting the study I was participating in to ensure the additional documents were being filed correctly.

Im also very scared of needles and occasionally hyperventilate and get dizzy/light headed with them. Helina was amazing when completing my bloodwork! She spoke to me to distract me and was ever so gentle and quick I didn’t even know she did it!

Thank you Helina and the entire team for your tremendous work and I’ll for sure be returning to the dynacare pickering location again in the future!

This clinic is great. They are fast and efficient. The technicians are polite and makes you feel comfortable before drawing your blood or doing your ECG. Etc.
Even if there is a line up.they get
Things done.
Never had any issues.

Attended with my 2 kids for genetic ECG testing, after a 20 minute wait my son was called in, after completion the room was left vacant for 15
Minutes and then they called in another patient who walked in well after we did. I immediately asked why my daughter was skipped - they advised they don’t know, and could ask the other person to exit & wait - which they never did. They couldn’t explain why, and continued to make her wait - overall we were there for an hour prior to getting called in due to the lack of organization. I won’t be returning to this lab.

The online check in doesnt work well.the wait time decreases then suddenly jumps back up. Also, made a mistake doing my tests at Dynacare instead of Lifelabs. In this time of Covid I would want to awe my test results online - dynacare you have to subscribe for$10 while lifelabs is completely free. I am taking my business to lifelabs next time.

I went to the Dynacare lab in Pickering at 8 am. The staff are fast and efficient. I have always had a hard time getting blood drawn because I have small veins, sometimes it would take 3 or 4 tries. I didn’t even feel the needle going in and was done in minutes. Thank you Kim Santos for making my experience the best I’ve had.

I used their online booking process which was excellent and easy to use. It's very neat how you can watch your service time tick down. The clinic was busy but seemed very well organized and the staff were friendly and efficient. I went in for some blood work and the nurse that took my blood did an excellent job. The whole process was quick and easy and pain free. I have been to this clinic a few times over the last few years and I will keep using them in the future.

Net check is garbage. Wait time showing 45 minutes and after 5 minutes wait time jumped up to 101 minutes. Doesn’t make any sense. There is no advance booking system so no one knows when to get your turn. Poor time management

The staff were super lovely/professional, but I have been waiting over 10 days now for my results. When I tried to look online on Dynacare Plus it said they could not find any health records matching my name. I feel like they lost my blood & test results: (. Will be following up Monday.

I've always visited this location to get my blood work done and they have been great however I visited them yesterday to get my blood drawn and it has been horrible. I was attended by someone who I'm guessing is a new staff member as I've never seen her before in that location and also how terrible the whole process was. She poked my right arm three times and was able to draw little to no blood from each and then poked my left arm and was able to get blood from there. You can see my right arm is quiet badly bruised which hasn't ever happened to me when I have given blood. I felt like a guinea pig who was there as a training dummy for the nurse. At the end, it was so messy with the butterfly syringe and blood splattered around (she didn't dispose of the needles properly after she removed it and I'm concerned if this happened to someone else and their blood was splattered and wasn't cleaned properly). If someone from the establishment is reading this then please train the new hires again, maybe it isn't a positive environment for the new hires to ask for help because she definitely knew she messed up, so have a look at that. To someone who is thinking whether or not to go, I would say go, but when you do ask for an experienced nurse.

I am sorry to rate you this badly but has to be done. I have had my blood work drawn 1000's of times and have never ever experienced this type of pain and after pain and bruising from simple blood work and people I have the easiest veins to hit no worries at all anywhere else.absolute butchery and that explains the boy crying his head off just before with the same technician. Unfortunately I completely blame her for this reaction she clearly doesn't know how to draw blood properly. I have pictures of my arm very bad thanks.will never ever go back. FIRST TIME and LAST TIME.

Loved their online queue system. Super easy and eliminated unnecessary wait time and confusion outside. I was going to Lifelabs before this and that was extremely annoying and had looooiong wait times, coupled with their mismanagement.
Dynacare was extremely organized. I definitely recommend very highly.

Usually I go to lifelabs, but the appointments are fully book and can require a wait of 1-3 weeks. I decided to check dynacare and they had availability for walking the same day. I used the online check in to save my spot and see the wait time. I also like that you can upload your requisition. Great for those who don't have a printer or want to go paperless

This lab used to be good, but the service has gone down lately. I uploaded my requisition forms online, and they printed all the requisition forms (already completed previously) in the last 6 months. Instead of 2 blood test they took 10+ blood samples. I keeps asking the lady to exclude the older forms she wouldn't listen and took 10+ blood samples. Once she's done with taking so much blood then shen finally confirms with me only 2 is required and she just thrower away the other 8 samples! No apologies and just blame on the person who printed the forms. I am low in Iron I immediately felt sick after. It's been 2 weeks still not fully recovered. I really hope they could train their staff to listen to customers before they do anything.

They lost my husband's blood tests and never sent it to the clinic, he had to go and redo them. They never answer the phone either!

Not sure why they get you to check in online. You check in, they give you a wait time. You arrive at that wait time. You wait in a long lineup with others, and no one comes to the line to see if you are there. What goes from being a 30 minute wait ends up being a 60+ wait. 2 stars because this is still better than Life Labs, and I will say that I appreciated being able to upload my requisition online.

Yes, this place is busy! But the people that work here are only human and are doing their best. I had a good experience. I showed up at 8am for when they opened and there was already a long line. The staff member walked through the line to collect requisitions and check us in to speed up the process. In total I waited about 20 minutes and was seen by Amanda. She was kind and comforting. The people who work here are truly wonderful.

I had visited this Dynacare branch several times this week and had the best service. They met all y expectation and very diligent with what they do. I had my glucose testing with Joan twice being afraid of needles I felt nothing. Honestly recommend this place and the nurses were very polite and helpful. Thank you

Long hold on calls and no one still replies. Unnecessary and long instructions on call. Waste of time and after that no one replies. Just to ask a simple question if someone want to do PSA count does one need to come empty staunch or it does not matter, had to drive to the lab to ask this question. They don’t give the reports to the patients! Why

Quick and clean. Covid mandates were enforced. Staff was friendly. Some days it can get very busy but they tend to work quickly.

Great during covid! Max 6 ppl allowed in the waiting room. Shields between each chair. You can check in online from your phone and it will give you an approximate wait time, ours was 4 minutes. Worked out to be about 10 in total, not bad at all. They have distanced stickers and a line outside the door to the waiting room. A nurse asks about symptoms etc and then direct you in if they have space. If they don’t, they send you off to wait and will text or call you. Way better than in years past, no long waits!
