Avoid this centre. For the first time I went for blood testing ans my hand is really painful and injured. That is not acceptable. When I contact them they do not respond.
For years I have been going at this location, once per year.this year, I did tests for two doctors at the same time and on both they needed to measure my cholesterol levels.same day, same hand, same blood, same nurse, same me not moving from that chair.one result test shows my cholesterol is just fine (as it is) the other one shows my cholesterol is high.i am not going to Dynacare anymore. If i cannot trust my test results what good is going to have them done?
After reading some horror stories at LifeLab I quickly changed my appt to Dynacare on same day. Got in quick with efficient online check in and blood test and EKG done and out in 15 mins max. Courteous and knowledgeable staff too!
Blindly selected the blood draw place closest to home. I had a very bad experience in other labs before, but this one is very, very good. Both the doctor who drew my blood and the front desk have a very good attitude and are very efficient.
Walked in at around 3pm, (I had already sent in my requisition through the site around 30 mins prior). The staff asked for my health card, asked me to sit, and within 3 minutes I was being called to get my blood work done. The nurse CHELL was amazing and kind. She made sure I was okay and she could tell I was nervous. Even offered me to lie down to be more comfortable. She was very skilled and had no problem finding my vein (which other nurses in the past had problems with) I was in and out in total 10 minutes or less. Very pleasant experience!
I was here 1 week ago for blood test and still now my whole right hand is dark blue, they cant take the blood from vein. Dont come to this clinic! Be carefull!
I've been there so many times, and every body was good and professional and cautious. Ok. They made a mistake but hey, u r lucky because they are honest to tell u the truth, they can continue the procedure without telling u the truth, so be happy cz these guys are just doing their job accordingly, it's a mistake and they wanna make it right to get ur wife an accurate result. So cheer up.
What does an online check in mean to these people? Checked in online and got to the place 8 minutes before our turn and waited an extra 40 minutes. What is the point of a check in system then? This is absolutely unacceptable. This is the most irresponsible a facility could be. This has to change An old person may not have the ability to sit for long times and not one of these people care at any point.
Honestly, the best lab experience I have had in my life. I have no idea what the negative reviews are about. Quick, efficient, well staffed. I documented my time stamps to see how well the app worked.
At 8: 19 am the app said there was a zero wait time so I drove to the lab without reserving my spot.
At 8: 27 am I arrived and went to the office. Sure enough, there was no one sitting there waiting.
Right away they took my requisition. I sat down for maybe 3 minutes and they sent me to a cubicle where someone saw me right away, no wait.
At 8: 35 am my blood work was complete and at 8: 42 am my urine samples were done. By the time I left, there was a 7 minute wait based on the app, which seemed accurate.
This will be my go to lab in the future. Great service, they clearly value customer time. Staff were also very nice!
Very efficient and fast. I was in and out of the clinic in less than 30 minutes. Shut out to the Pinoy lab technician who attended to me. She was very friendly and did an amazing job. Highly recommended!
Jardy, the lady who helped my mom take the bloodwork sample was very gentle, patient and professional. She is such a pleasant to work with and my mom requests for her every time she goes. Thanks Jardy!
Very welcoming environment. Staff people are good. I didn't find any bad perceptions though. Sometimes, it's very busy and you have to wait in line but that's fine. We need better service and that's what you are receiving here.
The lady who draw my blood forgot one tube. When I was about to leave, She came back and said she made a mistake and she needed to do it again to get one more tube. I got two needles just in 5 min. I have bruise and pain after the draw. Not sure if it's because of that. And she was so rushing that she was drawing so quick. I did this around 12: 00pm to 1pm so there were even no much patients there. This was my 3rd visit but the first 2 visits with another lady were great. So be careful about which nurse to help you. I should have asked her name.
I had bloodwork done today at the Richmond Hill Dynacare location. The staff was friendly and very professional. My nurse Liza was very kind and amazing at her job. She made my experience comfortable and painless. I highly recommend Liza if you need bloodwork done!
I had blood test at Dynacare today. All staff were friendly and helpful and the nurse who took my blood was extremely competent and kind. I did not have to wait and was in and out of there in minutes. Lab was very clean and set up well.
Received the best laboratory experience at this location, very professional. Excellent service from receptionist. Received texted updates on my wait time in my car. My requisition was processed in detail with follow-up appointment dates printed out. Technician (Mitch) was very professional, calm and courteous. Great teamwork. Keep up the good work.
Nice staff, everyone works efficiently. I checked in on my phone before I reached there, and the total waiting time in the lab was less than 15 min. Excellent experience.
Worst place you can ever go to get your blood work done. Please avoid this lab. Went there this morning as walk in at 10.00 am. They took away my health card and told me to come back after 1.5 hour. I came to their office at 11.30 and I see there is still wait of 46 minutes. Lady in front said that their staff was "taking breaks". I will never go here again. A very broken health care system.
Great organizing system for arranging the patient lining up for the blood work. Staff is friendly, however the skill of certain technician need to be improved.

This place is ridiculous. I tried to come to get blood test TWICE. And they turn me away saying too many people or I can’t wait around since I need to WORK. Don’t come here unless you want to deal with rude staff and long wait
I have a bad experience in this location last Saturday. The man who did the blood test very rude and discriminatizon about my nationality. In the third time they tried they took my blood. My arm was hurting after I left the lab. This man who take my blood can't work with people he is very rude and discriminate me. He is not profissional. I don't go back in this location again.
My experience today was despicable and highly unethical.
I arrived at 7: 10 am to line up. Door opened at 7: 30. I was the third person in line, yet they did not even attempt to enter my blood tests in their system until 8: 00 am. They gave priority to every other person who was older than me. By the time I left, it was 8: 18 am.
I approached the check-in person who assured me I was third on the list and even showed me her hand-written list of names (as the iPad was broken). She said there were certain people who had to go before me because of 'conditions' and thanked for being understanding.
However, even while paying for a blood test at 8: 05, I saw multiple people being called before me. There were people who entered and were told "come, come" right away - therefore - they did not need to wait at all. This resulted in overcrowding as they all came with their spouse.
When I asked the blood-taker what was going on, she said they prioritize people by AGE. (This is actually Ageism as age is not a disability and does not depict your health.)
On top of this, they are no longer screening for COVID-19. Meaning they do not ask any questions to anyone who enters. There was no measure to space out people, reduce the number of people, or ensure people are social distancing. This location has gone severely downhill in the last year.
Went in for blood work this morning and found them very efficient, which was great. I told the technician I'm nervous of needles and asked for a butterfly needle (which she did not use). The end result can be see in the pictures and I have never had a blood test go so badly in my 46 yrs on this planet. Won't be going back even though it is conveniently right in my neighbourhood. My arm is sore and bruised now, and of course it's my dominant arm.
Disorganized and inefficient, with no reinforcement of social distancing. You'd think a place that provides health care would've figured out how to work properly one year into the pandemic.
It's been two weeks and my blood test results haven't been sent to my doctor yet. I tried calling twice but it kept ringing for 3 mins until it hung up on me. The staff has changed and doesn't seem like they care about their patients anymore.
Loved the online check in system. It’s still a bit of a wait, but it was reasonable for a Friday afternoon. The best part are the nurses and techs who are absolutely lovely and sweet. We also loved all the little shops and bakeries nearby, so it allows for a day trip of blood work and treats afterwards, haha! We will come back to this location for other lab work, as we liked the area and the staff.
This is one of the worst Dynacare i have ever been to! Rude staff! Also speaking all in their language Had a problem with m’y Dynacareplus I kindly explained to her that this happened before and i call the customer service and they asked for my lab requisition number but she refused as said that is for us Like what i am gonna do with my lab requisiton number? Literally what? ! She kept denying and when i was waiting to talk to her coworker, she bumps in try to tell me the same thing. I had to call their customer service last year and had to go back to lab 3 times in a same day to tell them they have to fix it not the customer service. So sorry for this Dynacare Always check your PIN# and make sure it’s a same one previous visits.
The labs I had been to were all cold and no smiles. It was my first experience where they greet you with smiles and kindness. Wait was very short and everything was fast. I had very pleasant experience.
Visited this location today April 9th 2021 as a walk-in patient for some blood work, and I found the staff super polite and the place very organized comparing to other places I usually go to. I liked the paperless system that you can upload your requisition online through their website and just get there! There is also a text messaging system that tells you when to come back for the actual test. I highly recommend this place.
Horrible! Asked for a specific needle because with my regular visits I know I will get a big bruise and pain otherwise, the technician lied and ignored my request. The procedure end up hurting so much. It is still considered a medical procedure and is unacceptable to lie and ignore patient's request and use a needle that I didn't consent to. Totally unprofessional!
I started on Fri night trying to get an appointment. The message by phone was to go online. From Sat. 8am -10am I sent 3 submission in with NO RESPONSES. I went to the place.at 10: 30am. 7 people in line in the hall way with other people hanging around the door.trying to get clarification. There are no signs saying if the line is for people with a number or just for people who need to drop off papers or have questions. Way too many people at the door and in the hall that are not even 2meters apart! Now was monitoring the hall. There was someone who was monitoring registrations.
Finally got a time but it was over an hour. Was told go go somewhere and be near my phone. The Lab closes at 12pm on Saturdays. I was called at 11: 59. I did not go. By then I had given up and was 20 min.away. That means I will now have to go to a lab on Mon. I will not return to this lab.
No issues with the visit. Check-in online few minutes ahead and waited just couple of minutes once arrived. Staff were very organized and kind. This was second visit.
This is my personal experience when you show up at the 7: 15 opening time.
15 minutes to get in, usually a few customers in front. 5 min wait to check in paperwork and health card, 30-40 min wait to get called into check up.while you are given updates on delays or such. 15 minutes for blood work and urine sample etc.
All in all do get everything done in one hour by highly trained polite processional people is great and I would recommend Dyna Care to anyone looking to get a health check up. Just try to aim for the opening hours.
I don’t understand why such low reviews. Anyway I hate getting blood work done because often the person with the needle cannot find a vein.this place takes there time and does it right the first time! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Came in and there was no line. But I still had to wait around 2 minutes because the nurse refuse to acknowledge my presence, despite my greetings. After I gave my health card and medical papers, she spent another 2 minutes chatting with the other nurse about RSP, rather than entering my information or proceed with my blood work. The chatting was only interrupted by another patient walking in, the nurse proceeds to take that patient's information and complete that patient's procedure before calling my name. Maybe that patient's procedure was shorter? After my blood draw, I also was not informed to put pressure on the needle spot to prevent blood from soaking surrounding tissues. Only after some research, I found out that I have hematoma, which could have been prevented if the nurse simply followed the standard procedure and informed me to apply pressure.
Medical establishments should maintain a high level of professionalism that this place clearly lacks.
