A big thumbs up to Akon and Tanya. I showed up last minute on a Friday because this location isn't accessible from Cleopatra off Merivale Road and was walking. I went in to just find out when their last patient is and they took me. I was happy to return but.thank you so much.

Had some blood work done this morning.monitor estimated 70 minutes wait but I was taken in 30 minutes. Staff was welcoming and professional. I have read some negative comments but this has always been my favourite lab and today's experience reinforced that for me. Wonderful service, wonderful staff

I had a very pleasant experience here.

Reading all the negative reviews, I was hesitant to go there. But one review particularly caught my attention. It said I can book my place in line through their website. So I decided to give it a chance. And I am so glad I did.

I booked it and the wait time was 12 minutes! I uploaded my lab requisition easily. Went there, informed the receptionist (who BTW was a very caring and a responsible lady and I really liked her). Then waited there for another 15 minutes.

The technician who did the blood sample was so natural in his job that I didn't feel any stress or pain. I usually don't look at the needle because it just doubles my stress. But this time he was so smooth, gentle and reliable that at the second sample I was relaxed enough to calmly looked at the procedure and the needle.and see how he changed the tube and continued to get the third sample. I was so impressed that I asked his name to write a good review. He said it was Amjad.

I am getting old and my veins are not easy to find. But he was very professional and took his time until he found a good spot on my arm, then calmly took the needle with confidence and inserted it, in a way that I didn't feel anything. Kodus to you Amjad.

Been ok satisfied with services before. Wait times are wait times and parking is what it is. But this time they messed up a test that we now have to redo. We waited more than 2 weeks for the results just to be told that we had to redo them when we arrived at the doctor. They didn't call or inform us. So we will wait another 2 weeks + holidays. Both the doctor and the other place, were we went to redo the test, told us that they should have contacted us. Going to other test places from now on.

Very good service arrived just after 8: 30 am and was done within minutes and was out before 9 am. Staff are very nice and organized.

Most disgusting staff ever. Went in to get some tests done for fertility and they were so rude beyond rude. After already being on edge for the reasoning of me going in you’d think they would treat people with kindness.no. They should not be working in a place with people experiencing medical issues if they want to be so miserable, ignore people, act annoyed when you ask a questions. Will avoid this location for future.

Horrible staff at the 152 Cleopatra dr.location in Nepean. I wonder the essence of checking in online if I’m still not attended to after 3 hours; even though my wait time was supposed to be 43minutes. They use eye service to give service at this location. Horrible staff today. All those that came while I was there were attended to. I had to leave, out of frustration. Management need to teach staffs to be fair in what they do.

For all those reviewing poorly because walk-in was full; It's the Canadian healthcare system.

I registered online to make an appointment and they gave an estimated time of 30 minutes wait time. At 10 minutes before my check-in they texted me and I was able to drive over. Once I arrived I was getting blood taken within 5 minutes. Then immediately got my ECG after. The whole ordeal took about 25 minutes.

My visit was fast and efficient. The technicians were skilled, reasonably friendly, and incredibly speedy while still answering my questions.

This location has way better service than the reviews would have you believe.

I am writing a bad review for the Cleopatra location. I have been there over four times in the past months and they have been closed. No notification on their website. Very inconvenient indeed.

I would give this company zero if I could! It's now 5 locations that I drive to, only to find out they are not open or unable to service and their site said that they were. What a waste of time and gas! I even tried calling to see whether they were actually open, and, of course, no one answered their phone. What a substandard company!

Always closed. Check their website and it always says it will open the next week, but each week it is bumped back another week.

The dynacare space is pretty small and the staff encouraged people to wait in the hall which amounted to a bunch of people crowding there. I didn't feel very safe during the pandemic.

Even though I checked in online, it would have been nice to be able to notify the staff of your presence, but they just told everyone to wait. It felt disorganized.

The actual blood testing service was good.

Drove from an hour away for walk in service to be turned away- apparently they were at capacity. I tried calling at least 10 times before leaving to make sure they were even open, but no answer. I tried 2 other locations and they don’t pick up their phones either. I told the woman who greeted me that it would be nice if they answered their phone. She said tell it to customer service.

Checked-in online before going - estimated wait time around 45 mins.
I would guess the whole thing took me about 1h30 (including wait times, testing, and admin), but I felt like I got lucky, or that it was a fluke maybe.

The parking situation isn't great and the web interface for uploading documents is definitely terrible. But I did want to mention the person who took my blood test was really lovely - I have a phobia of needles and she was supportive, careful, and gentle (and very fast!).

They are closed since August 30 but it says open on their website. Took time off work and paid for parking for nothing.

Patients and screening personnel constantly block the entrance to the building. No social distancing is respected, no one moves out of the way when patients from the OBGYN clinic are trying to get to doctors offices or to the ultrasound clinic. You should consider other people using this building when setting up your screening area. I’m sure this is also a fire hazard, blocking the doors.

Staff work hard and are professional. On-line check in system is useless. Checked in on-line and est.wait time was 20 minutes when I arrived. Still had to wait 2 hours.

I "checked in" on-line. It said it would be 61 minutes.
2 hours later, I'm still here waiting and they tell me it will be about 28 minutes more.

Check-in does not do anything. Had to wait an extra 3 hours and people who arrived after me passed all before me. Not impressed.

The location is clean and the tests are done well. However, this location is also extremely disorganized and slow. Estimated wait times are usually 3 times longer than reported, so plan accordingly. A “45 min” wait became a 2 hour wait and I was not even done yet.

I when Friday Aug 6,2021 to get a blood test that takes 2 hours for gestational diabetes test (3 blood test in 2 hrs) because I am pregnant and I must take it.
When I got the 1st blood test (fasting for 12 hrs, I had to drink bottle of liquid extremadely sweet) a short lady with short hair told me please come back in 2hrs, 5 min before 2 hours, fasting still, no water or anything else, and I even asked twice If I had to go back 1hr after because the doctor told me and the lady said not, como back in 2 hrs. When I came back they told me I had to do the test again, another day because I suppose to come back 1 hour after and again after another hour get a 3rd blood test. So, they made me spent 2hrs and a half for nothing (30min in the line and 2hrs to get the next blood test). I even asked if I could have the 2hrs blood test and they said I couldn't do it and that I have to do it another day. This Lab should be closed if they hire this kind of people, 1st.a man at the front was very rude and he was even ignoring people when they were trying to comunicate with him and 2nd.you must not have incompetent people like the lady who gave me the completely wrong instruccions, specially when this test is an emergency because I am pregnant and my doctor needs to have the results asap, and the idea is avoid to drink high sugar liquids or food (in my condition) like the one I had to drink twice and spend another morning doing this blood test again because their mistake.
All staff who work here, should treat people professionally, specially when is about health service and these wrong accions can harm people's health. I won't back to these labs never again. I just to go to Life Labs which offer the best lab service. The only reason I when here was because it was closer to my work and I had to get this blood test done asap. Never again

If you use the app for check-in, it will give you an estimated wait time. Don't rely on that. Expect to wait at least another 30min. Paid parking on site, or limited street parking for free. If you have mobility issues, you will likely have to use the paid parking.
Staff are reasonable, but it just seems like they're understaffed.

This place has been closed since August and reopens Sept 20, but no one bothered to update the hours online. Drove here for 730AM for nothing.

They do a first rate job at this Dynacare location. The web checkin worked nicely. There was minimal wait time. The technician did a good job getting the blood sample. Well done.

I was just at this location. Usually it's wonderful and I've been going there for years, but they have over 20 people waiting in the hallway this morning. Not very COVID friendly at all. Especially since there is an ultrasound clinic with many pregnant women and doctor's offices right beside them. None of the people waiting in the hallway had any idea as to what was going on. I waited for almost 2 hours in that hallway trying to stay away from the crowd, only to find out I had to wait another hour in a crowd. I walked out. Dynacare, you need to make things appointment based. That crowd during COVID is so unacceptable.

The line up was long and I arrived just before it opened. Be prepared to wait. The staff were very friendly which was nice. There is a fee for parking and parking on the street is available if you don't want to pay.

This place is disorganized to the point that it’s embarrassing and unprofessional. Do not waste your time here, go to a different lab.

Very wonderful lab. The staff is very friendly for all the b.s they deal with. On my visit today a lady got upset that she had to wait, and practically yelled at the staff member. The staff member dealt with her with ease and controlled the situation.

They are amazingly gentle with needles. I didn’t even feel it when it went in. They also explained to me the process and helped ease my nerves.

Wonderful staff, even wonderful service

The best lab I have come across in Ottawa thus far. Staff is amazing! Never had any issues with the processes and have been in and out fairly quickly pre and post covid times. Location is a bit too industrial to my liking but since the service is so good will travel nonetheless.

Worst service ever, after booking online and waiting in my car for 30 minutes, when I checked in they put me in the line as if it's walk-in. Another client came after me without online registration was served before me. Their check-in system is the worst, prepare yourself to wait there for minimum one hour. Won't use them again.

Very nice staff and caring! Can be busy sometimes but overall an understandable wait they move pretty good. The parking at this building in the winter is awful! Not a lot of spots once they start piling up the snow!
