Dynacare at 4040 Finch Ave.staffs at the Reception are RUDE!

One time I brought in a urine specimen for my 74 y/o mother. The lab requisition has other tests to be done but my mother is not available. As I approached the reception and I expalined that my mother is not available and just brought her urine sample and will do the blood test some other time. But the a phlebotomist (CINDY) who that time was working as a receptionist, started talkng rudely and didn’t want to accept the specimen. After calmly explaining again and again, it turned out she didn’t understand the situation and just spoke rudely.

When you are at the Reception attending to customers- you should be gentle and nice to the person in front of you. And you need to listen carefully to who you speak with and talk to them nicely. We understand you are busy but that’s the job you choose.

Did my test last Saturday and till now my results are not sent to doctors office. Also tried to call them and no one is picking up.

I had really good experience getting my blood work done. I waited for only around 5 mints. I was so scared to go to the lab and get everything done. The lady named Cindy made me feel so comfortable while i was there. She was very friendly and helped me getting over my anxiety.
Next time if I ever need to do the tests I’ll go to this place.

Don't reply or try to OPT out from there number, it's an USA phone number. You will get charge. Line up is super long.

Was here April 29 around 8: 45-9: 00. The person at the front desk taking people's requisition and checking them in was rude to my husband and I. I work in healthcare too so I know the struggle of a busy day at the clinic but to take it out on your patients is totally unacceptable. It's our first time in this clinic and did not know how things work and of course she made us look stupid because of that. We weren't even asked if we did fasting for 12 hours was only asked if we ate breakfast. So I am not even sure if she's screening people properly. We will need to have glucose test done and according to the staff we spoke to in the phone the day before we need to be fasting for 12-14 hours. Imagine not eating for that long and you encounter this person. Totally ruined my morning. The person who took my blood though was really nice.

My experience at DynaCare on Finch ave East was disappointing and stressful. Despite checking in online and providing all the necessary information, I was made to wait for more than 20 minutes before my name was called. The TV screen that was displaying my wait time kept changing, which added to my confusion and frustration.

When I approached the registration place to ask for clarification, the staff there seemed unhelpful and unprofessional. In particular, the technician named Dennis was rude and unaccommodating, even though I had already registered online and provided all the necessary information. When I tried to escalate the issue by asking for the manager's name, Dennis behaved in a threatening manner, which was concerning.

Overall, my experience at DynaCare was stressful and unpleasant due to the lack of organization and professionalism from the staff, especially Dennis. I hope that DynaCare can take steps to improve their service and avoid similar incidents in the future.

Dynacare is lower rated in the reviews. I have been to this place many times and found the employees are always friendly and respectful. These days there are many places with rude employees, but Dynacare is always friendly and I hope they keep up the good work as always.

Now they have a monitor that shows the waiting list so the customers know the waiting time, which I find is awesome.
I was there on Wednesday with my child and we both had the blood work. Even though it was a very busy day for them, we still had my work done within one hour. Thanks to Ani and Vivian who were friendly to us and also did a good job for us. Ani didn't confirm with our names and birth dates like what other nurses do, but I still gave her 5 star as she was nice and I didn't feel pain when she put the needle in my arm.

Disorganized and full of rude staff. My father waited 2 hrs for a bloodtest, staff were rude to the elderly and it was saddening to see as many of them didn't know much English. I hope they fix their attitude and treat people the way they'll want their loved ones to be treated. Impossible to ask a question as they'll just bark and order people around like it was some type of circus. Will advise my father to never come back here. Do better.

This place can be the worst place of your life! Take my mom here to get some rest done all I hear is screaming and shouting, very very rude Rude receptionist! Long wait, really really long wait! Be prepared to wait approximately 2 hrs. I recommend you go somewhere else!

I give 5 stars to this place because, this is the second time I took my elderly mom for lab work and once again we were very satisfied with the professionalism, care and support from the entire team. Specially the host, I think Sonia is her name and Pauline the technician who attended my mom with exceptional skills. I am blessed to be able to count with this lab. Keep it up! We are deeply grateful.

Waited 2.5 hours for the blood test which I tolerated while witnessing abuse towards the elderly, especially those who couldn't speak fluent English. Went to doctors office today to find out Dynacare missed a box they were suppose to check off to get tested. Gotta go do another blood test due to their negligence. Totally unprofessional, hope they get shut down, they don't even deserve this one star.

Rude disorganized mess. The check in staff here seem bothered by everyone who comes in, rudely barking orders and refusing to even listen to anyones questions. I’ve sat here and watched them send the same people back through the line every time they have a question because “i ansewer questions from the line im not talking to you”. The one check in lady is currently yelling at people as im writing this. Ive watched them refuse a seat to a man whose clearly having trouble walking and standing, he’s sitting on the steps now after arguing with the lady who wanted him to go back to his car oh by the way shes keeping a chair im the hall for herself that shes barely used but why offer the man her seat i guess right? Ive watched another man with a breathing condition get sent back and forth while being yelled at for trying to explain his difficulty doing so, I’ve watched multiple people here be yelled at, ignored, and just generally treated poorly. The way people are being treated here is unprofessional and disgusting. Luckily there was one woman on staff (pauline i believe?) that was very professional and polite. Although she clearly was already very busy with her own tasks inside the clinic when i brought up my concerns about how myself and others were being treated she was quick to jump in and assist.within minutes she had gotten the man who needed one a seat,
and was helping answer questions and guide people the way the other ladies out there should've been the whole time. I’ lm grateful pauline was there today hopefully the other staff can learn from her.

I went to have a blood work recently (26 April 2021) in this lab. The lineup was OK along the hallway. Then after registering we were asked to wait outside in the lobby or in the car. I got a message on my phone of approximately how long the wait would be. So far so good. Then when it was about time for my turn, I got another message to go back down to the lab. Another short wait before my real turn. Everything went well, blood sample was taken. Everything was good.

The next day I accessed the report online, and found out that the ordering physician was NOT my doctor! So that would mean that the result would be sent to another doctor and my doctor would not receive the result. This was very bad. The Dynacare staff (probably the data entry was done centrally and not done from this location) should double check that the ordering doctor is correct and the result would be sent to the right doctor. I reported the error, and luckily it was rectified on time. It was good that I checked the result online before my appointment with my doctor, otherwise, my doctor would not have the lab result with him.

This was the second time this happened to me. Back in October 2020 (six months previously) my specialist (the doctor who ordered the lab test) also did not receive the result of a similar blood work. When I re-checked the report, as the ordering physician it was put my family doctor, who was supposed to only receive the copy of the result, but my specialist was nowhere to be seen. For a lab the size of Dynacare, this was very careless and unprofessional. Some improvement can be made here.

Why have a check in system if the aren't going to use it? There is a bunch of people lining up in the hallway. No COVID protocol what so ever.

You would think that a medical diagnostic testing centre would be more careful about COVID protocols.this location was absolutely packed with patients lined up in a narrow hallway with no one enforcing social distancing. For such a big company, tell me why they are unable to set up a legitimate booking system? Their "check-in" system is confusing, requires patients to wait for over and hour, and still requires patients to line up to complete the screening. Set up a booking system with an online screening just like every one else in the medical community. We're in a pandemic, they need to step it up.

I spent hours trying to call this clinic to ask a simple question because their website does not offer the information i require and no one would answer ever no matter what time of day i called. So unprofessional.

They took my requisition and sample and I had no problems. They were very nice and there were no line ups when I went! I will only visit here next time we need Lab.work done!
