Horrible location they have the policy to take walk ins and mix with appointments resulting in hours of waiting.

Un lab très professionnel. Il faut qu il travail sur le temps de réponse pour les résultats est un peu long surtout pour le ECG. Sinon le reste est génial.

Awful! Got there within the working hours to the employee tell me that they're closed? How if the door was open and it was still one client to be served? Seriously. I went there because I have important exams to do to a serious illness. I asked can I do the blood test and book the icg another day og we are close. How long it takes to withdrawal a blood?
They used to be excellent. They keep shortening their working hours. If you go in the morning it's packed if you let to go in the afternoon they can't see you? Awful!

We went to this lab for some bloodwork as part of immigration medical examinations. We had a terrible experience here. Our doctor discouraged us from going to other labs because the tests were for immigration purposes and other labs may not know how to deal with them. Otherwise, we would not have wasted two hours here.

This lab faced several serious problems:
- poor technology
1. The receptionists kept asking patients if they had checked in online using a mobile app.without knowing the fact that the app was not allowing patients online check-in at that moment due to a high number of demands!
2. The screen in the waiting area was showing waiting time information every five minutes. Most of the time, the screen displays useless and boring health tips, which means you have to wait for at least five minutes watching nonsense content before finding out your place in the queue!
3. The receptionists attempted to create a profile for my mother multiple times but failed. As a result, we were unable to make a payment. In the end, they said they would send an invoice by mail.

-weird requisition-processing
This lab processes a patient's requisition and administers bloodwork/urine tests before processing the next requisition. The problem is if someone's requisition or profiles get problems, like their failure to create a profile for my mother, the other patients have to wait until the problems get solved. In the meantime, the technicians will have nothing to do. This is quite different from Lifelabs, where patients do not need to wait for previous patients' problems to get solved.

-short-staffed and long waiting time
I understand 11 am to 1 pm are usually for lunch breaks. However, I am not sure a reasonable employee would enjoy lunch when the waiting room is full of patients, and all seats are occupied.

-lack of professionalism
A lady at the reception does need some improvements. She seemed to have some language barriers and had difficulties processing our requisitions, which were for immigration purposes.

What's worse, she was trying to let a deaf patient listen to her and force him to talk to her. The lady totally ignored the "hearing impaired" tag on that patient and kept asking him to "have a seat". Later the deaf man was coughing in the waiting area, and a supervisor asked the lady to see if he needed any water. The lady ignored the "hearing-impaired" tag again and started talking to him! Can you be more ignorant?

I have small veins, so blood tests have always been somewhat traumatic. Ann-Marie took my blood this afternoon with no problem. Pleasant, kind, and professional. Number one!

Pre-checkin is meaningless. My 92-year old mother had to wait an extra 1 1/2 hours. They kept her OHIP card. They said they gave it to her, but they hadn’t. She was upset and wanted to go back to look. They wouldn’t let her. Terrible service.
