Once, when I went for a test, I was quite stressed. I requested them to let me lie down before taking the test and they graciously guided me to the room. I have deep and thin veins and it always makes me uncomftable in order to get blood test. Today, Pantea, with her patience and professionalism, get it done very smooth, easy and without any difficulties. Like other staff, Pantea is so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this center.

I didn’t have interact with the lab manager but I am sure she is one of the greatest staff.

Online check in is a waste of time. Said estimate 40 min wait, arrived at the est.wait time to have another 80 mins of waiting. This is not acceptable. At least the staff were pleasant.

Extremely Disappointed with Dynacare Medical Laboratories

I recently visited Dynacare Medical Laboratories in Oakridge, Ontario, and I must express my profound disappointment with the service I encountered. My two-hour observation left me deeply concerned about the state of this facility and its impact on customers.

The primary issue I observed during my visit was the excruciatingly long waiting times. It is utterly unacceptable for a medical laboratory to keep individuals, many of whom are already unwell, waiting for extended periods. Waiting for test should not worsen one's health, but unfortunately, that was the experience for many present.

Moreover, it was evident that there is a severe lack of proper management and professionalism within the laboratory. This directly translates into inefficient operations and prolonged wait times. Customers deserve a more organized and timely service, especially when their health is at stake.

Dynacare Medical Laboratories needs a significant overhaul in its processes and customer service. I implore the management to take immediate action to address these issues and prioritize the well-being of their clients. Patients should not have to endure such frustrating and potentially harmful experiences.

In conclusion, my visit to Dynacare Medical Laboratories was disheartening, and I sincerely hope that my feedback prompts positive changes within the organization. Timeliness and professionalism should be non-negotiable standards in the healthcare industry, and it is imperative that Dynacare strives to meet these expectations.

I visited Oak Ridges Center this morning, I am the 1X visitor waiting on line. It only takes half an hour and everything is done.

Very very poor customer service, all receptions has attitude, not helping patients, they don’t care for your time and they close their office always earlier than they scheduled, no matter if u left ur job to be there and no matter how important is for u!

Today I got my blood work done here and this was the worst one I experienced in Dynacare. This is the first time doing my blood work in this location and I got 3 needles - 1 per arm and 1 left hand. Now I have 3 bruises. Will never go there again. I will go back to the Major Mac. Location at Dufferin and Major Mac.

Today I had my best blood test experience ever with Sunny in Dynacare. The last time I took a blood test somewhere else it was really bad and I was kind of scared of taking a blood test again. She was very calm and supportive and did her job in a way I never saw before. Sunny I really appreciate your patience and support.

Lab was extremely busy. Apparently they were shortstaffed but you could tell the manager was doing everything possible to get more staff. I watched her help a gentleman who had been given bad or little instruction from his doctor's offic. Staff are polite and efficient

I have received excellent service from this company. I have visited other locations of Dynacare and again received the same excellent service from the staff. Elaine Johnson drew blood from me and she is amazing at what she does. Always smiling and very gentle in how she treats her patients. She is very valuable to the company and would recommend her anytime.

As others mentioned, wait time is much more than what's shown. They don't answer phone at all. In their website, I am pushed to buy a funny membership in order to see my lab results online. I'm sorry that the money you get is not enough and you found other ways of earning. I don't recommend here at all.

Got there with my daughter, we both waited about 15 mins which was awesome but better than that was the nurse that draws the blood, her name was Sunny! She was absolutely amazing, she was gentle and knew that I have anxiety with drawing blood, she did it super quick (I had 8 tubes of blood) didn’t hurt and she talked to me the entire time to keep me distracted! Thank you Sunny!

Being 3rd in the line with 6-min waitingtime on the display, it took over 40 minutes to be served.my credit card was overcharged.then refunded, then charged again half of the initial ammount.paperwork took forever.for some reason, one of the tests is not being done on Friday, I have to come back MondayThursday again.the washroom is urine- stinky.you can't even breathe in it.

Hamid, as I heard he is called, a bald man apparently has attitude, you don’t know you can seat or wait for his order to sit down. You ask and sit there. After blood extracted with his shaking hands, you don’t know it’s finished or not, you should leave or not, you have to ask him. He does not want to say a single word!

Disgusting wait time estimates. Add at least double the time to the estimate.
Why have a screen about wait times and not even try to respect it.
Lost on income because of this. So if you learn anything from this review, 20 minutes wait is an hour.

Wstch out for the Philippino Lady who cherry picks clients over those who are waiting in line. She diesnt listen to the other staff when they point out thst she is changing the order of patients. I was waiting in line and she saw her friend" Moni" she promptly moved my requisition to the bottom. The Intake guy wlsked over to her to ask why she chose the woman eho just walked in and she brushed him off. I have noe space for Nepotism or racial Bias. Its first co.e first served. Not friend first.

The Techniccians r all very good. I have been coming here for over 5 years and never had a problem.

TIP. I have very small blood views so, I always ask for a thin needle, which also alleviates the pain of the injection.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I found the staff very nice and the wait times were reasonable. I’m not the best with blood work and they accommodated my ask to lay down.

Reception her name is ROYA she was terrible and i ask for mangers she said i am She was so rude to me any way i called had office for complaining and find out she is not manger.

I have been using Dynacare Labs for several years. VERY SATISFIED! If you can plan ahead, check in and send your test requisition ahead of time ONLINE, you can go there and have a very minimal wait time and be out of there pretty quickly. Staff if very busy and very kind.

Visited for a blood test on a Sunday. They open at 8am there was already line up at 7: 20. Once they opened it was quick and very organized. Nurses are great. Thanks

Very disappointed in waiting in line for no reason and they say they do t do 2 types of medication check for bloodwork on weekends? ! What is wrong with you lab? Whoever is the owner of that place should do everything with bloodwork. On weeekends they don’t do tacrlumis and sirolimus. Come on u should do it everyday. Not everyone r free and wait for nothing.

Clean, quiet, calm facility with competent, calm, compassionate staff.

I arrived at 8AM and was back in my car at 8: 30. Much better than other facilities where I made an appointment & STILL waited over an hour & where there were only 3 chairs & patients were told to "take a place in one of those lines (3 lines). Quite difficult for elderly or disabled patients.

So. THANK YOU. I will come to this SCC whenever need tests.

Staffed with rude and lazy people who don’t want to do their jobs. A man closed the front door 20 mins prior to closing, to multiple people who were standing outside in excess of 30 mins, because he said he didn’t want to stay late. People take time off work to get important blood work done and they have no regard for it. People will sit hours in the waiting room to be served by staff who walk around with no urgency.
Even if you get served, they all have attitude and zero compassion for you or whatever illness you’re dealing with. The worst lab I’ve ever been to.

Despite the bad reviews, I had a pretty good experience. Nobody was rude and the process was pretty quick. Came in on Monday morning 9 a.m. And was out of there by 10 am. Definitely recommend doing the online check in as that saves a lot of time.

These guys never reply patients by phone.they did not answers phone at all for any question we should go there.i did.i went there before closing asked them why did not pickup the phone.they gathered together and was talking.asking "why did not pickup.they just look at me.its terrible.customer service is awuful

I am unsure why people are complaining about this Dynacare.

The receptionists are welcoming and treated me with courteous service. The technicians working here are also great as they made me feel good about getting blood out of my arm which I don’t like to see. The procedure didn’t hurt like my last blood withdrawal from a different place.

All in all great service.

Very inexperienced and incompetent staff, waiting about 45 minutes then 3 staff tried and after several times of poking my son couldn’t find his vein, our worst experience with dynacare. Very disappointed and angry with them, they even didn’t apologize and kept saying his veins are tiny and hard to find.

My wife needed to use the washroom for the test. The toilet was clogged and was overflowing. When we asked them about how to do the test, they responded "It is the as is; go home and bring the container". No apology for inconvenience.

Completely understaffed waited 20 minutes to register and was given a 53 minutes queue time which was missed had another med appt that I could not miss.had to cancel. Also note most of the people in line were seniors. I had been going to this location since it opened and regretfully will seek another location.

I usually have a hard time after having blood taken.

I also had to do a urine sample. But Unfortunately, I just couldn't make that happen.

So the they gave me a sample container and bag to take home with me

Said as soon as I get the sample just bring it right over.

Staffs are very nice, I came here for a blood test and the wait was somewhat long but the person helping me with the blood test was quick, friendly and made the whole procedure painless by distracting me. During your wait, there's a TV in the room that shows who is next and how long you will have to wait until it's your turn.

Terrible experience from beginning to the end! At first, the lab technician could not draw enough blood for the three containers needed for the blood test so she started complaining about my veins being small and me not drinking enough water before the blood test. After pricking the veins on two of my arms unsuccessfully she said that she cannot do it so I had to ask her to get someone else to help her. The other lady came and she ended up drawing the required amount of blood for the test. After a week passed, no results came from the lab, so I tried calling them multiple times but they never picked up the phone. My doctor's assistant was also unable to reach them. So I actually had to drive down to the lab to talk to someone there where they gave me the number for their reporting centre to call. I had to be on hold for a while to reach them only to find out that the lab lost two of my blood samples and they could not provide the test results and I have to do the blood test again! I went to another lab to redo the test of course, not coming back here ever again!

People with narrow veins need to know that they can request a narrower gauge needle - e.g. Ask the technician to use a "22 needle". It'll slide right in, and you AND the technician will come out happy (well, as happy as you can be in a medical situation).

Anyhow, my experience at this location has always been pretty good, and it's even better now that they have the screen showing your place in line and approx wait time. Staff have always been friendly, making an effort as they are clearly aware that some clients are under stress.

I am searching for half a star but could not find, so giving one star. Terrible reception staffs. A man who claims himself as a "Chief Receptionist" was so rude, I thought he is picking up a fight with me for no apparent reason. Nobody picks up the phone. Everybody pretends to be busy. I keep on visiting thinking it was their bad day, but they are consistent. Not consistent in service, but consistent in rudeness. Terrible place. I wonder why management is not auditing the staffs behaviour. Pathetic!

I find middle of the week not quite as busy. Staff on front desk were friendly and efficient.
Technicians that do my blood work are always friendly and very competent.
Must agree with other review as washroom is pretty disgusting.
This is always a busy place and unfortunately you cannot book appointments so bring a book. I think most I have waited maybe 45 minutes and best about 5 minutes.

Amazingly fast! Short wait. Tv displayed waiting system gives you the exact amount of time you will need to wait. They are organized, quick and good at what they do!
