Ran all over the hospital on my busted leg just to find out that the website which says this location reopened after covid like big freaking notice on the website saying they are open again and when I finally found the damn door it said it was permanently closed edit your Damn website and tell people it’s closed I wast Ed $17 on a cab to get up there and have massive blisters on my feet after trying to find the damn place only for it to be closed CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE! Also your phone menu is completely useless have a damn option to talk to someone in the main menu having to go through 30 options is frustrating as hell.
The waiting line is waaaay longer than the panel says. Mine said 38 min and I had to wait over 90! The lady who took care of me was nice, even though I was really annoyed because of the wait. Kudos for her!
I haven’t received the test results neither my doctor. Its been more than a week now since I have given samples. I have been trying to contact them, no one picks the call. Just tell me where do I get my test results and who to contact?
Crystal took my blood and did it incorrectly, requiring a second attempt from another hand. Now both of my hands are severely bruised. This has never happened to me before, and the staff were not friendly or pleasant.
No one picks up the phone and any option just resets the system. I don't know why these locations have an admin person at all, no one picks up the phone.
This is an excellent lab to get your medical tests done. The staff is very professional and accommodating. A special kudos to Tania for her excellent service.
Try and get there right when it opens, otherwise it's a bit of a wait. If you are just doing a urine test, it's fast, but anything involving blood can be slow. It's clean and everyone's really nice. No one's hurt me too bad or bruised me while taking my blood.
Thanks to the wonderful employees of Dynacare Name Tania What would we do without you? My mum turn came up quick and it was greatly worth the short wait.idea to keep us warm in the other room. Keep up the excellent job she was super amazing. Highly Recommend.
I changed doctors and this lab was downstairs from my new guy. Needed bloodwork done. No appointment on a Tuesday morning. Waiting room small, but clean and neat. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. In and out in ten minutes and you can’t beat that! I think there is parking underneath the building accessed from the ally. Very pleasant anf fast experience. I recommend.
Physical conditions of the lab is quite good. Nurses are polite and helpful. I gave 3 star because of the lady in the front desk. She has very impolite manner and so rude.
The lab infrastructure is new and well mantained, service is pretty good, staff are super helpful and polite. I have absolutely nothing to complain about here. Remember to upload your requisition in their website and do the check-in prior to arrival, it will save you a lot of time.
Came here to do blood works, but because of a technicality, that the year was printed 2021 the staff refused to do it. I told them I can show them proof and another staff agreed. I showed them the email was sent 2 months ago and now all the staff didn't want to accept this proof. She said she does not want to get blamed for accepting this and that they have to follow their instructions. I told her that if she was instructed to water the plants everyday and that if it was raining, would she still water the plants. Please use discretion and don't work like a robot. Real waste of time. Never come across anyone that's this dumb. I
They took my blood and urine test wrong so I had to go there again! I was there for blood test for my medical test and they took my test and submit it incorrectly. This resulted a delay in my application. Moral of the story if you have an important test and it is for your legal papers, do not go there as there is no guarantee if they take the correct test from you! I gave them 3 stars because the location is neat and clean. If you check in online, it'll save you some time.
It was honestly a delightful experience. I was worried at first because of the reviews but ended up being super happy about the experience. Definitely my go to lab going forward.
This branch is close to my work place. I always have phobia when it goes to blood test because normally technicians are not able to find my vein. But “Edna” who is one of the lab technicians in this branch could find my best vein at a glance. After I had my test, she helped me put my head down over my knees and that helped me a lot not feeling dizzy. Then she gave me a normal bandage and helped me go out of the laboratory safely. The reception area is very clean and tidy and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. You can also check in online before you get there and that helps a lot saving your time.
I don't understand the low reviews. I went to this location and was attended that second right away. Personal was extremely nice and friendly. The space was also really clean and organized. I had a great experience here:) would definitely recommend to people this place for their blood test
The worst lab, I had appointment, when I went there they said we can’t do that test because the lab requested my doctor in hospital, this is not first time I had bad experience there, they people working there are rude, never go back there again
It's a very disorganized place, and specially not good if you have to go for test fasting. You have to make an appointment, but appointments, your time, and how you feel does not mean anything to these people. They are so disorganized they keep you waiting long after your scheduled appointment time while your fasting. I wonder how they still opereate and have customers. I respect myself and won't come back.
I booked an apointment at 9: 50 AM and they said to come 10 min ealier. I did as mentioned and they have us wait for more than an hour outside. Many people that came after us was able to finish before us. What a horrible experience. And there was a kid keep coughing without a mask. They just let the kid stay in the waiting room and coughing. Avoid at all cost.
The elevator wasn't working to go to the lower level. I had just come out of surgery and shouldn't have done stairs but was forced to. Then it took them 48 hours to get results for a simple urine sample for which I could have gotten a bad infection from due to the wait time. Also, the place is filthy dirty and doesn't look like the floors have been cleaned in months. Will not be going back here.
Like others before me, I was also wary of the poor reviews but thankfully, I had a 5-star experience. The Hispanic (?) receptionist was very courteous and the Filipina lab technician who performed the bloodwork was very friendly and gentle. I arrived a little ahead of my scheduled appointment and was seen right on time. Very punctual and efficient laboratory. If I had to find fault, it would be with the floors, which need major cleaning/ replacement and the Covid screening sign; The symptoms were listed in tiny print that only superwoman could read.
I read the reviews before I came, hoping they were not true, because this lab is the closest to where I live. However, I could see that, yes, the receptionist is incredibly rude. I asked if I could include blood sugar levels in my exam (my dietician had asked for it, but my doctor had not) and she just blurted out: "No you can't, you're not a doctor". I pointed out she was being rude and she said she did not realize she had made an inappropriate remark. Really? I then went on to explain that where I come from, it's absolutely normal to request exams and pay for them and next time she can just say "Unfortunately, you cannot do that, sorry". Some people just shouldn't have jobs where they have to deal with other people and this just makes this place live up to its bad reputation.
I’m here from 5: 30pm to deliver a sample and they they closed! We were 4 people waiting while the staff was already gone.just go to the davisville branch don’t come here.one person told us they loose Drs referrals very often.
Staff are pretty rude especially the Filipina. The lab closes at 12 noon on Saturday and they closes the door at 11: 50am.so of u plan to come.give an hour extra to accomodate them. They should accomodate patients but they dont do that.
I came to this location (Yonge and Broadway) to get blood work done. I found the service to be quite fast and organized.
The reception/waiting room is quite small, with minimum seating. Location is super convenient though. The washroom wasn’t amazing, but I have yet to go to anywhere that does diagnostic tests that is amazing. It’s a public washroom. People are gross. It’s reality.
That said, I’d go to the location at Yonge and Balliol, which is much bigger/nicer except that this is closer for me.
My doctor waited for their result to send for couple of days. When I did a follow up on that they told me it is faxed. I asked the lady: I tell you my doctor’s fax number and please check if it is the same number you have. Then the dynacare agent said we do not have the fax number! They easily tell lies and they are so irresponsible AND it is health issues of people: (
The waiting area is a little small but it’s a clinic not a hotel. I come here quite often and the number of people I see who never knew they had to fast before blood tests is amazing. Once you have your paperwork and OHIP card ready to go, it’s usually a short wait.
Black receptionist likes to panic white female customers / patients unnecessarily. I don't know, maybe white men too but I didn't see that.yet. Seems that's how she gets her jollies.
JUST IGNORE HER COMPLETELY, she's just trying to wind you up as she loves the look of total panic on your face, DO NOT GIVE HER ANY PANIC FACE. Just sit down and ignore her total b.s. Lies.
I'm not even sure if she even knows that's she's spinning lies or she's just making it all up.imho, she's doing it on purpose but I don't know what's really in her head.
The rest of the staff are competent enough; I wouldn't say they seemed that happy to be working there, must be crappy management making people there pretty grouchy. Screw you bad management; look how you're spreading unhappiness out into the community. Their management are probably total jerks.p. S. Don't wait until closing time to stroll in with your medical issue because you will incur the wrath of Khan at that point, and that will be on YOU people!
Incompetent staff. Wife is 36 weeks pregnant and she came here today to get a urine test done. Within the two minutes the staff had her card, they lost her Health Card!? !? The one handling her card went into another room with it even though the bottles werent in that room! The incompetence is baffling. There were three staff members with only two patients at the time including my wife. Staff started to look through the garbage bins for it. Wife left without the card and now we need to get a replacement ASAP for her weekly hospital visits.
