Dynacare Laboratory and Health Services Centre

Called many times, they don't pick up the phone, there is a missing blood test result not done, I believe they missed it. Wanted to check if they still have blood sample to do it. Very disappointed.

Arrived at 7am this moring Well renound RA Rheumatoid Arthritis Dr Matsos and got told we've never heard of your Dr. Do Better Dynacare

Rude staff.ive always went to this dynacare but never again. After my ECG was done yesterday, i was walking to the front of the office to leave and a staff member named JENNIFER EARLE JAMES was blocking the way with her arms on her hip so i couldnt get past.i kindly said excuse me and she didnt budge! She acted like she didn’t hear me so i said excuse me again and she kinda slowly moved out the way…i literally had to push my way through! There was noone infront of her or to her sides.disgusting behaviour.this place is 3 stars for a reason.everyone go to dynacare downtown or lifelabs.way better customer service skills.

What a joke. They expect me to pay to see MY results. The wait this morning was an hour. Can't make an appointment. Run fast from this place to LifeLabs. They take emailed requisitions and making an appointment is simple. Dynacare wants the reqs faxed, as if we all have a fax machine at home. This lab needs to stop being so archaic, and improve Customer Relations and catch up to 2023. The info online has many mistakes. It's a convenient location for me, so one star, but I'll never go back. And as others have mentioned, they don't answer the phone. It's a long wait to speak to LifeLabs, during business hours, but their # is answered 24/7. Love them, compared to Dynacare.

Very unprofessional. Just stopped doing blood test at 11: 20 Am without any notice saying we are going to close at 12;15 Pm even when they confirmed they are open till 12 PM. Such kind of laboratories should be banned from Canada.

No human sympathy. I arrived 30 minutes before closing time and it took me up to 10 minutes to locate the location which made me get to the actual place 20 minutes late but I was told they are close. Like seriously, it wasn’t 5 pm yet. I was so furious.

The online check in is a dream, I like that there is also a screen with the queue posted so you can see your apx wait time. My nurse was lovely and she did the blood draw perfectly… there will be no bruise or anything.

However Dynacare Plus is an absolute joke and they should be embarrassed about charging for that junk.

Used this lab for blood services today. The online check in was very convenient as I only waited 5 min or so to be seen. Mansi was very kind, courteous and did a wonderful job! She is a true professional. I would definitely recommend this lab.

It is 15: 46 pm Sunday March 12th. I was crossing the walk way at Walnut and Charlton ave e. While one of your drivers (female) driving westbound on charlton. Went through the stop sign while I was midway through the crosswalk almost hitting me and my dog. Know the rules of the road. This happens often.

Excellent work, minimum wait time and professional attitude. Mansi did my blood work and she did it very well. Really appropriate her work and recommended to visit the place for doing blood work.

It was very busy today so my wait time was about 30 minutes. I love how they have a "Wait Time" Board so you can see how long it will be before it's your turn. They offer free Wi-Fi which helped pass the time. I had a wonderful lab technician, Rakyia Abdi. I told her I didn't like to have blood drawn but she made me feel very comfortable and we shared some laughs and it didn't even hurt when she drew my blood. Great job!

You need to come wearing mask and if you forget they have no disposable mask for you. You will have to buy the mask for a dollar from Pharmacy. They will charge you for Parking. So they a small scam going for mask and parking.

I waited for 1 hour to get my blood work done and when my turn came they asked me to pay money because some of the tests my GP wrote was no covered under OHIP. When I told the lady that you should have told me this when I walked in and not after waiting 1 hour, she just walked away in disgust. The other lady was equally rude like she was doing me a favour.

Absolutely trash staff. Non cooperative, unfriendly and unapologetic. They didn’t let us use the restrooms inside because we don’t have mask and pharmacy was not open that early in the day. Never using them again.

I will be filing an official complaint. You sent my results to the wrong Dr. And I need them yodesperately

I went to the lab today and it was so busy these girls work very hard! There was a boy running around and one of the lab technician Latia took the boy to the back and give him some candy and kindly walked him back to his parents. Her little act of kindness was noticed.

The girls that are working at this place are amazing. Place is packed today, but you can see that they are a great team that works very efficiently to help everyone. Bravo ladies

Oh boy BAD. I Checked in on line for my mother. Th wait was to be 16 minutes. This did not help, at all. We sat and sat anyway. After the sitting.we were told the requisition WAS NOT HERE! Really! You Had her sit here in a room stuffed with people & only now inform her of no requisition! Called doctors office and had it sent. This isn't a good way to treat the elderly. Luckily I could help my Mom. This place couldn't/wouldn't.

The staff are very rude and discriminatory. I will never go there anymore and do not recommend anyone to go there.

They really need to have someone pick up the phone. They tell you to call and book appointment for none-routine lab work and nobody picks up the phone.

Staff is friendly and wait times are not bad, open on Saturday as well which is a plus.go here instead of LifeLabs

I went to this lab to do a blood test and ECG. They told me to sign up an online account for $10. I got my blood test results soon but I never got my ECG results. Tried to call them but no one answers the phone. It was a student who didn't the ECG for me. I guess they didn't do a good job on the ECG so they choose to ignore it. I can't trust this place anymore. What if someone is really sick and depends on the results for the treatment?

Hurt … I came directly after work for pregnancy related blood work that’s actually kind of serious … and I’m told no we are closed early and the door pushed in my face … are you kidding me … I’m pregnant and it’s 4: 20pm when you close at 5pm … unreal People… wow

Ppl arriving after me all went in before me. Bad system! Nadine, nice lady hurt me. Couldn’t bend my arm for 2 days. Still have a bump after 3 days where she pricked me. Go to life labs

Pam is amazing! Another girl was trying to draw my blood and poked 3-4 times and she couldn’t find my vain! Pam came in and instantly drew my blood in the first shot! I was super nervous as it was first time and she calmed me down and was having conversation with me durning the process to keep me calm! Thank you Pam for your help and amazing service! I would request her at your next visit!

I went to get my blood work done and Pam made the experience seem much less intimidating and much more pleasant than any other time I’ve gone to get blood work. She also made the experience quick and almost painless somehow as well! Amazing job Pam!

I am a Type 1 Diabetic and had to come in for a number of blood tests. My blood sugar was low before I left my home. Once there it was 2.2 and I brought it to the attention of the ladies at the front desk. I felt badly as there were people waiting, but the team knew I needed to get in and out quickly. Once seen, I asked about a pop machine in the building. Thankfully, one of the ladies offered a glucose drink. I have been a diabetic for 49 years and yes, I experience low sugars, but the team was quick to react and I am ever so grateful. Thank you.

Despite the huge amount of people during a pandemic I was initially frustrated but the staff were truly amazing and had everything under control. Thank you

Problem when Making Appointment On Line

I accepted to see waiting time re email or on phone and it hasn't worked for awhile now.

Yes, it was a very busy Saturday morning, probably one of the busiest days and times, and it was about an hour from arrival to completion, but the staff were all very friendly and efficient.

I can not be more happy with the services and kindness of Jenny. My daughter is 10 years old and she is afraid of needles. Jenny was very patient and gentle. My daughter had a very good experience thanks to her.

Apart from waiting, which is fine. They don’t know who came first cause all the papers are mixed. You just sit and hope for the best. The lady “Alva” who did the blood work is nice and took her time getting it done with no pain at all.

I wen't in for bloodwork and unfortunately after it was done I started to feel light headed. Thankfully I had Marivic there and she was nothing but kind. The place was busy but she made sure I didn't feel rushed and that I took my time before I left.

Did the online check in but ended up waiting another 20 minutes because instructions were not clear to get into line anyway. Feel system could be more effective if it was clearly marked on door what check in people had to do. Didn't expect would have to get in walk in line if did the check in.

Seems very badly set up. Long waits, much longer than where I usually go. They make elderly people wait outside in 40 degree weather. There has to be a better way of organizing this place.

Be ware! Even tho you made an appointment you have to wait in the line up outside.does it makes sense? Be ready to wait no matter what appointment or not!

I don't support any company that charges money to see your own results. I will not be returning.

Online booking was a complete wastage of time. Had to wait more than 30 minutes for a blood test. Better to check in at the front door. Instead of taking the patients who came first, they were taking patients who were coming after us. Staff was friendly.

Place was opened at 7 I call at 7: 03 because I can’t book on online and I wonder for some help waiting 10 mins no one answered the phone.

Online check complete waste of time. They'll undoubtedly have a computer glitch and your name will not be registered. Nice staff but quite daft.

Booked online which was quick and easy. Went in early for a 7: 30am appointment. Walked right into the clinic and was helped by a lovely lady named Ana. Painless bloodwork, such friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Horrible service, first they cannot find the requisition that the doctors office sent, then Dr's office resent to me by mail and due to lock downs and canceled appointments went to do the blood work, spent 30 mins outside even though after doing their online hold which really means nothing and being told they can't do it because the requisition is now 6 months old.

I will never visit this location again.
Horrible hand washing and cleaning prior to procedures. No privacy provided when instructed to remove clothes. No respect for patient as a person. Just horrible.

I just had bloodwork done at the lab and found all the covid-19 safety measures to be efficient and easy to follow.the staff was patient and everything moved quickly.

I took my 2 year old daughter to get blood work done this morning and was super impressed with the staff there! We were greeted by a very friendly lady and had Marivic and Jenpa R taking her blood and they were incredible with my young daughter. I was a little nervous taking her but was pleasantly surprised. My active daughter didn't even move or cry. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back:)

Use the online check in and it even tells you how many minutes until you are received.quick and painless.fantastic

Firstly, the check in online system is a JOKE. I checked in online and no confirmation email or text that I am actually on the list and no additional instructions until 15 minutes before having your turn.

They are so unorganized at this location particularly. I showed up and stood outside in line in the cold with my 3 year old who needed the blood work. Only to find out 20 minutes later that if you checked in online you get to bypass the line up. THIS IS NOT POSTED ANYWHERE. People are crowding at the entrance total confusion and chaos. The intake process for online reservations and people waiting in line needs to be posted and they need to be more organized.

Their drivers seem to think its ok to park where ever they want. They like to block hospital loading docks and equipment with their delivery vehicles. Then when confronted, their drivers justify their poor parking choice by saying that its ok to park illegally because they park illegally every day. Then when you call dynacare, nobody answers the phone, ever.

Picked up phone, not saying hold on, can hear them talking in the back. Horrible customer service. Refused to schedule holter appointment to 1 hr earlier for Monday early morning. Saying "there is a reason for it and we can't tell you the reason".

Ridiculous that this lab would shut down for the day due to a power outage that only lasted 1 hour and 15 minutes. My elderly parents (86 and 89), fasted for the morning and we waited for an hour for the power outage to be over, only to learn that they would not be reopening after the power came back on. No sign was posted that they would be closed for the day! Very, very poor management. This would never of happened at the dental office that I work at. Our clients come first, always!

Went here Sat @ 11: 00am to have bloodwork done, after the LifeLabs near me was closed for the long weekend. IIwas surprised to see online that they were open till 3pm on Saturday. The online check-in system was great, love how organized it was, as there are monitors showing your last name, and what number you are in the queue.
The only negative part of the experience was the kid sitting behind me in waiting room that vomited into a bag while I was waiting. #justmyluck.

Would've given 5 stars, if it weren't for that gross factor. Other than that, I highly recommend this lab. Service was fairly quick, and staff were very professional.
