Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store

Great little store on Eagle Lake with friendly staff. They sell pizza, poutine, and some other items as well as a good selection of ice cream (in season). They sell gas, firewood, live bait and I think they still have boat rentals. And they are close to a great little beach.

Wonderful store, we have a cottage on eagle lake and love to go and grab breakfast there. Great business and great people!

Had such a great time. We will be back. Very knowledgeable. Machines are great, and the tour was amaizing.

Me and my friends had a great time here Snowmobiling. Fred and his wife, as well as Nigel were so welcoming and warm. Very friendly people running their family business.

We were newbies to Snowmobiles. They took us on our tour with proper gear, training, guidance and safety. The trails they took us on were scenic. You can operate the Snowmobile on your own and add a passenger too. We had a fun outing! Definitely recommend to visit them for sure. I would visit them again for more adventures. This was our second year of enjoying the South River area thanks to Fred and Jill at Eagle Lake Narrows Country Store. They have been nothing but accommodating for our family and allowed us to enjoy the winter. We look to spend many more visits with them up there and I suggest to anyone to experience the charm.

Jill and Fred are super friendly, warm and expert at what they do. They know the area really well and can take you to hidden surreal spots on the snowmobile. They have everything you need to make it a fun and memorable snowmobiling adventure.

We’ve been going to the Eagle Lake shop for food, worms and of course the ice cream for many years. Great customer service.

Stopped in while camping at Restoule Provincial Park. Best pizza I have ever tasted. I will be camping at Mikisew next year so I can eat the pizza again it is that good.

Super friendly owners. And home of John Deer who overlooks the lotto machines. Store has only been around 70 years.
Ice cream choices were scarce as it was the end of the season. They had a lot of fireworks and were super busy.

Small friendly country store that has a little of everything. Located next to the lake. Easy parking.

The cutest store ever! Super friendly service, large selection of necessities, and ice cream! Always a friendly dog or two hanging around. Convenient location, can grab alot of the basics you need (or forgot!). Food, water, gas, smokes, firewood, milk, clothes, swimsuits, eagle lake souvenirs.they have it all. Plus, the location is picturesque, with all the feels of a cottage town.

They were so strange and rude. Couldn’t even answer questions about the ice they sell. Treated us like we were stupid.
We were going to rent a boat the next day but decided to go elsewhere because of the experience.

Further they have dogs on their property, we had our dog, was told to bring her in by someone on site and when we went in their dog started sniffing ours (our dog doesn’t like other dogs but she is never aggressive she just stands still or walks around them) and the owner saw HER dog sniffing ours and was like “I don’t want them to get aggressive or attack each other, pick your dog up” and I’m like.so they have aggressive dogs on the property?

Don’t bring small children or dogs here apparently the owner is scared hers will attack.

Again, just avoid this place.

Such a nice spot! They really have everything you might need.
