Eagles Nest Golf Club

My husband and I just had our dream wedding at Eagles Nest over the past weekend. Our wedding was more than we could have ever hoped for, Eagles Nest was the most amazing venue.

Not only is the property absolutely stunning, the entire team, staff, food was excellent. I am so grateful we had our wedding at this venue it was perfect. Such a seamless experience working with everyone. I am still getting complements about how amazing the food was. Thank you Eagles Nest for being awesome, and hosting our wedding, I will remember it forever!

I had my wedding at Eagles Nest and had the best experience! The food, staff, and venue were exceptional and I would highly recommend Eagles Nest for any event. The sales team was attentive, accommodating and efficient throughout the entire process.

Went to a friends wedding on September 4th, worst bartending service I’ve ever experienced. Frankly, it stunk.

We had our engagement party here and the venue itself was great but the food was just ok and our upgraded bar came with a bartender who had never bartended. With some changes to management this place could actually be worth the money

Very arrogant sales team! They are nice to you until you make a lump-sum deposit and then they’ll start threatening you that they’ll cancel your wedding day if you don’t pay for certain things they haven’t told you from the beginning. Their staff robbed our guests, because they stopped working saying the music is too loud and asked for more money to continue working!
They are professional thieves is what I can say!

What is Eagle Nest owners really thinking? It is “just” a nice golf club and they have their wedding packages priced out comparable or higher than luxurious wedding venues (theirs is even higher than Casa Loma or Fairmont). They try to charge you for every single item. EVERYTHING, even basic linens and they have no compassionate towards your big day. They see you as a number. You need to fight with them even for things in the contract. If you can avoid having your big day there. I don’t expect they can continue the wedding business much longer with the trend they have been doing. And their wedding department are the coldest people you can imagine. Only Jason was nice and no wonder why he left. Anyway, if eagle nest wedding manager and owners are reading this, do sth or you will soon be out of business. Dont rip off people! No wonder why you have so many dates available each year compared to other venues!

My wife and I did our wedding reception on October 16,2022. We explored a number of different places to get married, and finally settled on Eagles Nest for a bunch of different reasons:

1. Their salesperson was very responsive. Any emails we would send, she'd respond within minutes to hours. If we needed to get on a phone call, that wasn't a problem.

2. The venue itself says "class. " When you walk into Eagles Nest, you feel like you're in a French chateau. A number of our clients are members of other country clubs, and even they commented on the elegance of the place.

3. The service. A few months before our event, we did a food tasting, to decide on the menu. When we entered, Pam herself (the saleslady) was waiting for us near the front door. It wasn't a receptionist, who we then had to ask for Pam, and Pam wasn't on her computer, or scrolling through her phone as we walked in. She was standing there, at attention, like we're welcome guests that she's been really looking forward to meeting. And my wife and I are punctual. I can't imagine what Pam would do for people who are chronically late.

4. We were considering a downtown venue, but between the aggravation of driving downtown, and finding parking spots, we decided against it. Eagles Nest has no issues with parking.

5. The event itself went off without a hitch. All the Eagles Nest wait staff delivered the food quickly, without any noise, and without interrupting the entertainment going on.

All in all, we can't recommend Eagles Nest enough.

It rained a little to begin our round, but after that a beautiful (and challenging) place to play! Looking forward to my next round there!

Very bad customer service, we had a wedding there and they did not provided the services that was on the contract.
Dave poeltl and Anastasia Aubie are professional thieves.

Horrible customer service, very rude sales manager and team, they are nice to you until closer to the day of your wedding then they show their true faces. They rob you and your guests on your big day. They will make excuses like the music is loud and we won't be working and ask for more money. Don't go to these thieves!

Ok, just listen to me and avoid this place for your wedding:

1- their prices are INSANE! With the same price you can have your wedding at Omni King or even a nice hotel in Manhattan! I have never seen any other place charging you for cake cutting or extra linens after 10! Are you kidding me? What are they even thinking?

2- their minimum spend is ridiculous!

3- The food is bad, like literally bad! And remember again how much you have paid for this bad food.

4- people.let me not even get there! Both ladies (Anastasia and Pamela) are the mist difficult ones to work with

And there are many more details that went south at my client’s wedding. I am a wedding planner and until the owners and management fix their pricing, and their team and operations they have lost our business. And Im sure they have already lost a ton of others.

I love everything about this place. The atmosphere, customer service, and the food were excellent. The golf course was great as well.

Terrific clubhouse with good food on the patio. Course was built on a landfill, so there are lots of dog legs and vertical aspects. Great view of Toronto from the top!

Great course, wide open but also very tight. Challenging but super fun. Well groomed and the staff are great

Had a wonderful golf day at this great course. The price is a little high for the conditions and upkeep
My advice: reduce the price or step it up

Don't know about the golf. I heard it's an excellently kept course but we were there for a wedding. Very friendly and professional staff and very lovely venue. The wedding was a blast and the view only made it better.

A very technical course. It will challenge the great and keep the novice furious. I lost alot of balls here.good luck.

Really nice ana challenging course. Staff is great, food and drink service was good and the facilities are all nice and clean.

Fourth time playing here so this review is based on my latest round on June 16,2021. Paid $205 for the round and the greens were very inconsistent. Aerated, sandy, dry and not very true. Other areas of course were very dry which I have never seen here with my previous rounds. I won’t be coming back with these prices and conditions. I work hard for my money and I don’t drive one of the Ferrari’s in the lot

One of the top public golf courses just outside the GTA. With it's signature Carrick greens and elevation changes, it's sure to challenge any game.

Excellent high end course and proximity to my home is the best part. The views of the city are awesome.

Great Course and Facility. Well kept and groomed, friendly service and multi use facility. Fun course to play, good pro shop, snack bar and pub when open for service. We always have a great time at Eagles Nest when we’re out there ‍️‍️

Giancarlo and the team at Pure Platinum Auto Spa are fantastic. They provide great customer service along with top notch detailing skills. Had my car cleaned for the first time recently and I will absolutely be back. Highly recommended!

Extremely over priced! The golf course itself is beautiful, a very tough track, well manicured. A must play, but visit when the fees are discounted, as 180-200 is a steep price, should be 100 at most as a fair price

A beautiful golf course and so much more, just north of Toronto, great track with excellent practice facilities. A super friendly and helpful staff. A must play.

I had my Winter Wedding at Eagles Nest Golf Club. To start: this is one of the most beautiful venues in the GTA. The Pride and Care is very obviously seen from the moment you pass the garden entrance straight through the venue.

The planning process was flawless and made easy with Anastasia. Their knowledge is expansive and incredibly helpful through the process. It is so obvious they CARE about you as a person.

The food is 100+Stars! If you want something MORE than the 'standard, typical' wedding food. This is your venue.

Their service is unparalleled. You have an experienced Floor Manager directing your event and A+ staff. I have picture proof of service staff helping my guests with food & drinks, all laughing and smiling. We had tons of compliments about how amazing the staff was!

Our wedding was romantic, classy and elegant. Eagles Nest was completely in control of every minute and the experience was smooth and perfect. Not one single glitch. We enjoy our day - stress free.

They are true experts. Highly Recommend.

Amazing golf course and service. The food at Lago restaurant inside the clubhouse is delicious!

Name branded wine tastes like home brew and some of the dessert taste shop bought. Think they cut corners for corporate events too much

Stunning golf course. Everything felt premium and it's a challenging course to boot. Definitely lost a few golf balls. Some holes offered beautiful views and the layout was well thought out.

It's one of the best golf course in GTA area. The course is typical link style. So be prepared for all the deep bunkers and tough high grass. The course is maintained very well. I played there close to end of season. But the course is still in very good shape. The only drawback is that it's not a public course.

Beautiful scenery. Beautiful course. Clubhouse facilities and dinning were excellent. Staff very friendly. Greens are aerated but still fast. Leaves have been blown off greens and fairways.

A beautiful and challenging links style golf course! First class facility. If you would like to test all parts of your golf game, this course will definitely do that for you, accurate approach shots are required and 3 putts are the norm.

Can't say enough about the staff and food here. Great place to play golf, eat lunch or have dinner. A gem thats north of the city.

Beautiful Golf Course. Amazing restaurant the cuisine is exceptional. They also do banquets and host many neat events throughout the year. The grounds and club house are second to none. Must experience

Immaculate fairways. Greens are PGA fast. Course rewards you if you stay on the fairway. Steep cut bunkers that require ladders to get in and out of. The course is fantastic and in the city. However, the green fees reflect the convenience. Helicopter pad beside the ninth fairway indicates the type of clientele this course attracts.

Been here multiple times and each time the experience is more than pleasant. Haven't encountered a staff that is unfriendly. Everyone here works with a smile and are always helpful. Space is beautiful and scenic. The sunsets are to kill for. Food is by far best out of all golf courses. If I ever have another party or celebration, I will for sure come here. Highly recommended

It's a very nice club and the golf course is very challenging and in excellent condition. Reminded me a lot of Cruden Bay in Scotland except it's not on the Sea of course. Well maintained and the staff do a very good job. The pub downstairs has good food options and good drinks. There is a grill by the driving range where you can get a quicker bite while on the course.

Great course! Plays difficult if you dont keep it in the fairway. Long fescue and Greens are protected by Deep pot bunkers. Deep bunkers are also sprinkled in the fairways. Need to carry them if you want to make it on in two. Take in the view of the City on the 8th hole!

Nice golf club building. Went there a few times before for occasions. Foods were always excellent presentation and much delicious to eat them.

An experience to remember! We went for our annual Valentines Day dinner and got our usual Private room for 12 and had the royal treatment. The service was impeccable. The food was outstanding. I tasted a lot of Cornish Hen dishes before but this is by far the best EVER! Every dish on their menu has been exceptional. Very romantic place. Country club atmosphere. Highly, highly recommended!
