Very disappointed - who do they think they are charging these kind of prices - $15 for their lousy coffee at lunch because I got 2 refills. (which equals $20 with tax and tip)

Visited Earl’s Restaurant on Sunday, October 15,2023, at around 3 PM, thinking it would be a pleasant spot to pass the time while charging my Tesla. How wrong I was.

I held the door open for another gentleman who specifically asked to go to the bar and was immediately escorted there. However, when I made the same request moments later, the hostess scanned an EMPTY bar and told me it was ‘busy, ’ asking me to wait for 2 minutes—all while giggling in a manner I found quite unprofessional.

Left perplexed by this bizarre experience, I decided to take my business to Turtle Jack’s instead.

This ordeal at Earl’s was not just absurd but also reflected poorly on the staff’s training and common sense. If this is how they handle seating patrons at an empty bar, one has to question the level of service one can expect elsewhere in the establishment. My advice? Save your time and sanity; there are better places to go for a drink.

Atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, great place to just go for a relaxing dinner and get together and spend time with friends or just someone special. Servers aren't too bad as well friendly

We dined in a couple of weeks ago. Service, food - all was amazing. We especially want to shout out the host staff. This team was so welcoming…my daughter was cold and Amanda lent her a blazer! I mean…so kind. We will definitely return! Thank you.

I haven't been to Earls in a long time. In the past my favorite dish ar Earls was their famous Thai Chicken but I didn't see that on the menu this time. The street corn + avocado dip was a great appetizer. I was debating between Hunan Kung Pao and Angry Chicken Lettuce wrap. I decided to go with Chicken Hunan Kung Pao and was a bit disappointed, I had to search for the chicken in that dish. Overall food, atmosphere, and service were great.

Food is excellent. Pricey but it's worth it. Staff is friendly. Restaurant ambience is nice. Perfect for a date or a family meal.

Had an extremely enjoyable evening thanks to great service from Hailey, ice cold corona on tap, a top notch steak and broccolini that was so good I’m mentioning it here. Highly recommend, beautiful spot and lots to look at.

My son and I walked in from Mapleview Mall on Aug 11,4: 55pm for the Happy Hour ending at 5 and were told "Sorry, Happy hour is over. " I said to the male hostess, "But it’s not 5pm yet? " and he said "Well, by the time I get you seated and your server takes your order, it will be over. " I said "So you'd rather turn away our business? ", and his reply was "Yes, sorry …" Out of principle we turned around and left.

The one good thing about social media is having reviews and I have to say this place was not at all what it seemed. I ordered a glass of wine and it had a fruit fly dead when the waitress set it on the table, the waitress brought another glass and says to me it's that time of the season and to put my coaster on top of the glass! My daughter ordered the 50.00 filet mignon dinner, please people don't waste your time, it was the thinnest steak I've ever seen, total waste of money. I know I've been spoiled by my regulars like the lakehouse and Weinkeller but that's service and food at its finest. I emailed the restaurant but no response and that was well over a week ago, now I know it's a mall restaurant but come on earls get your act together

Great lunch experience at Earls, food was exceptional but our waitress made our visit over the top pleasant. And we can't forget her team that was on top. Even the greeters were wonderful. Earl's knows customer service! Will definitely be back when we're in the area. US citizens, check #5572

Only my second time here. The crab cakes were delish, steaks cooked perfectly. Seafood platter, great.

We went there for a special occasion and requested special request for our son's birthday. We ordered Cajun salmon vegan Kung pao and Cajun chicken sandwich and blue Hawaiian drinks. Except for the sandwich and truffle fries the rest of the food was bad. Service was slow and we had to call the waitress for our bill too. I would expect them to remember the special request when we made the reservation ahead Not going back to this location again

Food came out cold and was mediocre at best. Service was ok except asked the food runner for vinegar and never got it. Asked for one of the tables along the edge away from the middle and was told they were all reserved even though all 4 tables remained empty the entire time we were there. Very over priced for the quality. Would not recommend.

Amazing experience! Lovely menu, beautiful space, great and patient staff. Very accommodating and helpful with the menu. The prawn sushi tacos was a very interesting flavourful experience, and the sweet potato fries/ truffle fries were definitely a group favourite. I love the vegan options and menu variety, really lovely restaurant. Thank you for a great experience.

Came here for brunch with my sister in law. The food was really great. I don't think the PB&J cocktail was worth the hype but everything was still great. A wonderful spot for any meal with beautiful ambiance

Front check in staff is cold. Sitting in the hallways is like waiting room at an emergency hospital. Wait times Really long although half of the tables inside are empty because they cannot find waitresses or waitresses are too picky to work. Bring some form workers who are eager and Keen to work. We ended up going to turtle Jack instead and eating there. It's a shame because I do like girls environment and the food better but the waitress attitude is overall pretty mediocre.

The food was fantastic! Sangria's were pretty good as well. The service could have been better but we did recognize that it was busy and they had a lot going on.
The red head lady that was hosting was not friendly with people at all though

Came to earls with my friends to celebrate Mother’s Day, I hadn’t been to earls for a little while. I have to say I was extremely disappointed. Service was ok in the beginning, the food and some of my friends food was really bad, I decided to order a hamburger with truffle french fries. The meat patty was so thin dry and ver salty, bacon was so hard that I had to take it out of my burger, fries tasted ok but they were hard and cold. The servers never came back to check on us so I was not able to really complain about my food. I remembered going to earls before and having better meals, I guess quality has gone down and prices have gone up.

Such an awesome place to dine with friends and family. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My siblings and I went for a casual lunch and enjoyed all the dishes we tried.
We tried:

Dynamite roll
Spicy tuna rolls
Spinach cheese dip
Oven roasted salmon
Veggie burger
(it tasted amazing that we couldn’t even tell it was veggie)
Jumbo crab cake (chef’s special)

Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
Would love to see some halal options on the menu.

Always have the best fish tacos, definitely better when eating in the restaurant but still a good takeout option!

Really displeased with how this establishment dealt with our experience. I’ve been to plenty of restaurants alike but its really sad how it was handled. Taste of food, customer service, and the experience was good up until the end of our visit. After paying the Bill my girlfriend had a really upset stomach after we finished up and we don’t know what caused. She has no allergies so we were wondering what it could be.
As we proceed to go back to the car because she just wanted to go home, I called the restaurant to inform them what was happening. The manager Cristina was just defending the restaurant saying they make everything fresh but if that’s the case she wouldn’t have an upset stomach. All she said was to go to seek professional help to see what was wrong and took no further action to do anything else. 2 hours later her stomach is still hurting and when we got home she threw everything up and was sweating excessively from all the discomfort she was having. I’m really not one to create a negative reviews and very lenient to many things but is really unacceptable and I’m very displeased and disappointed.

Girls get together today at Earls. My first time here. Loved the place. Santa Fe salad was delicious, as was my cosmo. Diana was our excellent waitress who made us feel very welcome and did a great job! We have decided to make it a regular monthly lunch! Will take some pictures next time.

Enjoyed the Happy Hour menu of drinks and food. Had the Shrimp roll…essentially 7-8 pieces of sushi each topped with a piece of shrimp…then had the pizza with mushrooms and ham and chorizo…my wife had the burger with fries…drinks were great…the beer…the wine…BUT BEST OF ALL…we had NICOLE as our server…we are experienced restaurant diners and NICOLE was exceptional…friendly…attentive…an amazing dining experience…we will definitely return and encourage everyone to enjoy the atmosphere…the food…the drinks…and NICOLE’S exceptional service

Fire alarm went off while eating, the manager was nice and went to every table to say it was just a test.he came back a few moments later and said "yeah, there actually IS a fire so we're going to have to ask you to come outside".

Come to Earl's often. I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way, but something seems to have changed recently in the quality of service. It's been very inconsistent. Perhaps it's just my luck. Placed an order for pick up and 2 items requested on the side were missing. Dined in recently and the food was served cold. Lastly, simply the change in menu - please bring back the power bowl. Really sad, used to be one of my favourite restaurants now I don't know what to expect from my visit.

Went for my dad's birthday. This location was recommended as being better than the one in Mississauga. Reservation for 7.the table setup was awkward, only one who way out for 4 people seated on the bench so we asked them to remove a centre piece which they did. Our server did not introduce herself and was not helpful or friendly. Half the steak and seafood entrees had the option of butter mashed potatoes but we were told it was wrong and only garlic mashed potatoes were available, no further explanation given. My father's side dish was lukewarm when it came, but overall the food was fine though I did find the meat of my burger and the steak to be a bit flavourless. All in all, it wasn't an experience worth repeating for $300+

I went to maple view Tesla charger and my kids need to use washroom. Restaurant was full but staff was so kind they did let them use washroom and let us watch match. We didn’t get reservation so we did order take out and as my kids were watching match Mgr-Virginia told us if we want to eat there we can though had already paid bill for take out as they were no server available for us. We just wanted to to use washroom but staff was so kind that we end up eating there. Very good staff, awesome food and lot of vegetarian options.

I order on Uber and waited 2 hours and after 2 hours at 10pm they canceled it and said they were closed. Very unprofessional and these ppl should treat customers better. The manager should be fired for doing such a poor job running this place.

We came there last Saturday directly from a wedding in Kleinbürger and were still wearing our wedding clothes and treated well and food great.and we tipped well because of it…. But…today however we were returning from a long trip in casual clothes not knowing the protocol and hungry and were turned away by both females at the door as we had no reservation and were told no more walk ins so we went next door where we were treated like human beings. We spent a lot of money there at Earls last week my first time there but never again even though the food was great

Great food - horrible service. Went for Sunday brunch and sat on the patio which was insanely hot, but that is not the restaurant's fault. We ordered drinks, apps and entrees and we waited a ridiculously long time for drinks to arrive and then what seemed like forever for the food to arrive. The soups and entrees arrived at the same time which in my opinion should never ever happen. There's simply not enough room on the table for all the food, and more importantly your entrees get cold while you are eating your apps. Ordered items were complete forgotten including soups and drinks. We were so put off that we did not even complain since it was taking so long to get any kind of service. We just wanted to pay the bill and get on with our day. Several servers were assigned to our table which I think created a lot of confusion for the wait staff. It is a shame because aside from the horrible service, the food tasted consistently great. We will go back to earl's but hopefully their service improves at the Burlington location.

I order from here pretty much everyday through uber eats and once in a blue moon I drive there to pick up food. The food is delicious! I would also like to mention Virginia is a great example for a perfect restaurant manager in terms of customer service and how to treat/satisfy a customer. Will continue to order more Sante Fe chicken salad and other delicious stuff! Well deserved 5 stars!

Went here tonight and it’s officially my new favourite spot! Cole, our server, was the absolute best and I would definitely request to sit in his section again. Food was fantastic (if you don’t get the spinach dip you’re missing out). Everyone was super nice and the wait wasn’t long at all!

We went for special occasion and we had street style chicken tacos and vegan hunan kung pao and cajun chicken food was amazing very flavourful. It is slightly on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and service was prompt would definitely go back.

When I visited Earls recently it was not a great day because it was raining that day, despite this from when I sat down to when I left, the experience was great with a nice patio setting as well as quality food at a higher budget price. The service from the employees was good and on par with other restaurants of the same quality and price.
You can also taste the great flavours in the food. You would enjoy this restaurant if you’re looking for good quality food and great service.
Overall I would return to this restaurant because of the high quality food, good service and the great atmosphere

Service was good but food wise, for any vegetarians, look elsewhere. $22 for a plain uninspired beyond burger the size of a peanut is outright criminal. There are plenty of other restaurants adapting to the changing food environment. Earls is not one of them unfortunately.

Came in for a quick after work bite to eat. Clam chowder arrived to table stone cold, with chunks of vegetable stuck together. It tasted like it was right from a frozen bag or can. Next up i got the sushi roll, sadly it wasn't fresh either. The shrimp was soggy and the rice was hard and crunchy. Lots of staff also socializing with people that seemed like friends with masks pulled down and not social distancing. Really disappointed!

Went to Earls Burlington for a birthday lunch and I have to say they did everything to make me feel special. My server, Taylor, greeted me with a "Happy Birthday" and her service was top notch from start to finish, with a very welcoming personality. She later informed me that she and the manager on duty, Virginia, were paying for a birthday dessert for me (their very tasty Sticky Toffee Pudding cake). Another manager, Samantha, brought the dessert to me and lit a candle on top of it (because what's a birthday cake without a candle). All in all, just a great experience. I would highly recommend Earls Burlington to anyone. The food is tasty and the service is just terrific.

Tonight we had amazing service by Bree in the bar area! We used to come earls a while ago but the service has been extremely bad.until tonight! Bree was around at the perfect times and extremely personable we will be back just to see her and for all the vegan options! Only hiccup was the front check in process with the hostess was kind of confusing and a little rude.

Terrible experience. I visited the restaurant around 1: 30 pm, there were ample seating available but was put on a waiting list anyways (I take that as grain of salt based on current covid regulations but I feel I'm being generous considering multiple booths were empty).

People who came in the restaurant after me were seated before me.

After I was seated at my table and waiting for my server to arrive and noticed that my table was still dirty with a sticky sauce from the previous guests. I asked the server politely if she could give the table another cleaning for me; she absolutely refused to do so starting that she herself had thoroughly cleaned the table and it just took some time to dry and continued to educate me on their cleaning policies that they wipe the tables twice rather than just getting a cloth and wiping it again. I had already been at the table for 5-10 minutes and what was on the table was sticky spilled sauce. I had to wait for my drink to be delivered by another staff member before I could re-address the issue, thankfully it was then resolved. Atrocious service not to have the basic etiquette provided and to top it off the base gratuity allotted on the machine was 16% (ridiculous and greedy for the company to suggest such a high base rate).

The 9 oz.meat being served was one big round lump of meat where it was impossible to cut without it rolling around on the plate. The steak was to be cooked at medium rare but because it was a literal a ball of meat made it impossible to have an even doneness throughout. Most of the meat was well-done and unsatisfying. Very disappointing to say the least considering that the plate cost $35.00, I would have had a better experience at McDonald's for a fraction of the cost.

Needless to say that my special occasion lunch to celebrate a once in a lifetime achievement turned out to be a total bust.

Love this location. The staff is very warm and friendly (hi Kelly). Romantic setting and the PATIO is open and comfy. Great date night or day lunch or any occasion really. Try the ribs they are AMAZING. Worth the drive to this location over others in GTA.

This place was great! Had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was amazing. Great service and decent pricing. Atmosphere is slightly nicer than most typical chain restaurants.

Very impressed with their plant based menu! Food is always good! I suggest going for happy hour for good drink and food deals. Try the buffalo cauliflower with the vegan ranch dip, so good!

Went to Earls to have a birthday dinner with my wife and it was great. Service and food were really good, and the place has a nice vibe, recommended!

Bad experience mostly because of one of the employees, a blond girl who is named Jen (I believe she is a supervisor of some sort). I had the displeasure of dealing with her and she is very disrespectful and impolite. So unprofessional! When I shared my experience with other people they had similar things to say about her so I had to share! Will not be returning simply because of her, especially since there’s a Turtle Jacks across the hall! Horrible hiring choice by Earls

My boyfriend and I went to Earls for my birthday dinner and loved the experience. I’d say it’s a middle of the road dine-in place similar to/a little nicer than Boston Pizza/Montanas. Prices are similar. I got the steak with the seafood addition and loaded baked potato, and my boyfriend got the rib/wing plate. Besides my veggies being a little too salty, the food was excellent. Having never been to an Earls before, I’d definitely recommend it!

Food was excellent. Unfortunately our server asked my male partner if he wanted a refill of his beer but didn't ask myself. I didn't want a refill nor did my company, but i think in this day and age everyone should be included.
Heads up I paid the bill. Guess who eould have got a much better tip.

The food was tasty. It was very, very busy at lunchtime on a Tuesday and we felt the wait staff were a stretched a little thin. They were courteous, but messed up two things in our meal, including misquoting the price of the wine. I would give it another try, as the food itself was good.

Went for lunch yesterday and the food was sub-par. The coconut shrimp barely had any coconut and tastes like it had been frozen. The spinach dip needed salt to bring out the flavour but there was no salt or pepper on any table. We will not be returning.

I had "lunch" today with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Left extremely disappointed even after speaking to a manager. I order the Bullalo cauliflower from the vehan main dishes. For 12.50, the portion was so small that I literally was still hungry after eating it. Mentioned it to the server who shrugged it off saying that lots of people complain about the portion. Then the manager came and was even less sympathetic. She told me that I ordered an appetizer and appetizers are not meals. She too said lots of people complain about the portion. I reminded her that I did not order an appetizer. I ordered a main dish from the vegn/vegetarian section. She told me I should order something else if I was still hungry. No adjustment to the bill. Very poor customer service. At the very least it should have been taken off the bill and this menu choice should be evaluated. I have had cauliflower wings in other restaurants and for that price have had over triple the amount. My friend could not believe the portion and the poir customer service.

Good vibe, friendly servers, busy, good food. Surprisingly nice restaurant to be attached to a mall. Nice dark vibe, servers are friendly. Good food and drink specials. Make sure to park near the restaurant if staying late since the mall closes earlier. Poke bowl was delicious.

Great restaurant, great food. Staff is very friendly day and knows the menu very well. Wish the jerk chicken was still on the menu as that was a favourite. Never had a bad meal or bad experience. Would deffinately recommend.

Always have great food and service. The ambiance is great. They have a variety of happy hour specials, never disappointed.

Won’t return. Terribly slow service - I mean we were there for 3 hours when just hoping for a quick dinner. Drinks sat empty for 15 minutes at a time. Entrees took over an hour to arrive and when they did they were cold and small. Apparently there was a staff party tonight for Earls so all of the staff was new or from a different location. Despite the ‘step in manager’addressing our issues appropriately, our server was not from a different location or new. Not sure why we received such poor service when our sever works there all the time. All bills were wrong and took half an hour to be received/fixed. I don’t know what kind of company allows the place to be run so poorly while they celebrate a staff party. It’s pathetic to put staff members and your paying guests in this type of scenario. Will not be returning or recomming this place. Extremely disppaointed.

Our early Easter Dinner was everything we expected and more. We had drinks and ate great food! I ordered the Cajun salmon after our server Taylor recommended some dishes to the table. Her service was very helpful and attentive. She had a positive attitude all throughout the evening and we look forward to coming back

I have been to Earls many times before with various people and have always had an alright time. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable, especially during “happy hour” so that usually makes up for the experience. Sometimes I wait on a table or service but tonight was unlike any other. I had gone out for dinner with some friends tonight and had the best experience I have ever had at Earls but also at any restaurant. I was sat almost immediately and the host kindly catered to my requests by seating my friends and I in a booth in the dining room. Taylor looked after us and made the entire experience outstanding. She really exceeded any expectation of service I had. Her personable and welcoming attitude is definitely a warming one to make me want to come back and be served by her again! My friends and I really enjoyed ourselves and can not wait to be back.

We were on a tight deadline. Visiting from our home overseas. Customer service fantastic. We were seated immediately although there was supposed to be an hour wait. We saw many empty tables. The food was served promptly and was fresh and appetizing. We cannot thank the customer service enough.

Great server! I forget his name, maybe Ben? He was from South Africa. He was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the banter back and forth. We enjoyed some happy hour appetizers as a break from shopping. Will definitely be back and ask to be served by him!
