The entrance shown in the pictures is SHUT DOWN!
There should be some warning online that this is not accessible anymore. All because of another ridiculous condo construction site destroying the parklands. It's called the internet and can easily be updated to tell people of any recent changes to accessing the park.
This is unacceptable but so typical of the modern Toronto, where condo developers run the whole show.

This is a great hiking trail. You can find bridges over Don river. A very nice place to walk, running and biking all season. Just be aware that the elevation is very stiff while you start the trail.

You wont find lookouts as such there are a few around don river, this place is not heavily forested there are trees around but you can see house both side of the train, there are no waterfalls as well. The best thing I like are the trees covering the trail specially at day time and if its a sunny day. The trail is not bad to walk in winter as well. Not overly crowded. The trails are generally visible trails but not the smooth surfaces of a walk.

Parking lot are closed, need to park somewhere near equestrian Court. Trail is well maintained and paved. It's not a loop trail, and not much scenery to see.

Went for a run but a few trails were closed due to pesticide spraying, so I had to figure out other routes and trails that went the same direction. Overall I enjoyed the trails that were open very nice, quiet, green, peaceful. A great run. A lot to see. Would go back.

Walk with Don River nice and quiet, good for bike ride with long paved road. Just a little bit busy on weekends

A very calm place to be. The river gives it a very soothing ambience right in the bustling city

Love this amazing trail which host lot of pedestrians, joggers, cyclist with both mud and tar road sections coupled with water bodies and beautiful trees n plants making this one of our favorite trail. The trail has multiple access but car parking is available on one such access with d dictated sanitisation facilities available.

The East Don Trail is quite long. It twists and winds its way from Leslie Street and Steeles Avenue in the north traveling south. There is a parking lot at Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue with a washroom facility. The stretch of the trail from Sheppard Avenue up to Steeles is 5 km.

There's many paths that branch off of the main one into neighbourhoods and other trails. The path is wide enough to physically distance from others and is used for walking, cycling and running. Cyclists tend to travel quite fast so beware of your surroundings.

Great trails! Ideal place to go for: bike rides, walk/running and or take family & relatives to. Best of all, parking is free.

Nice trail. Unfortunately people do not seem to be aware of others around them. Walk 4 abreast across the trail making it difficult for others to pass

Nice park in the heart of Toronto, a feel of nature not leaving the big city. I enjoyed hiking with a friend who was kind to invite me to that area.

The trail is quite long and will get you exercise covering the distance end to end. It goes along the river and gets sometimes quite crowded.

Be aware of the limited parking space. You can find more parking a few hundred meters away from the entrance for a few bucks for GreenP. It is a good option.

Great trail! There's a good amount of parking spots, and best of all it's stroller friendly. It's quite a long trail as well, walked several km's, but didn't make it to the end. The entire trail is paved, great for cycling.

Great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Usually less crowded between Finch Ave & Steeles Ave. The trail follows the river for the most part; there are several bridges and a little waterfall.

A bit busy for hiking, easy trails and perfect access. Icy in certain sections, bring shoes with substantial grip in the winter

Went there today around 2pm.
There are around 50 parking spaces. Full. Fortunate there were a couple just finished hiking and left.
Planned to walk up North for an hour, but after 10 mins of walk, just passed a bridge, there were lots of ice. Encountered an cyclist saying that there would be lots of ice up there.

This is a great find for a good long walk on a paved trail along a quaint creek.
- Not very busy.
- No foul water smell (which can happen in other trails next to water) and it goes on forever.
- You can easily reach 10k steps one-way before circling back.
- It’s also nestled far in, away from any street traffic visually and audibly.

Definitely will be short listing this one to go again.

This park is not senior-friendly. This park is for not mobility-restricted. There is a steep hill shortly after the bridge, which is impassible for older and weaker visitors. There are lots of flat space to develop into easy walking and sitting area for seniors. I hope the parks department will take it into consideration for future plans.

Needed to get out and walk outdoors during social distancing restrictions.

Limited free spaces available in the parking lot but patience pays!

Nice little parkland with long stretches of walking trails at the top of the city.

Now, get out yourself and enjoy before snow and freezing temps become the norm!

Beautiful place with a long hiking trail and stream along the path. This is a good place to walk/run/biking.

Good location, just by the Finch Ave. Easy to access even have no car coz you can take No. 39 bus and get off at the entrance of this parkland.

Easy to walk, run, bike and walk a dog. The trail is flat and goof for children to play as well.

This is a lovely hike in the city. The trail is paved so you can easily bike on it too. It's a great location to see some wildlife.

It's a great stretch to walk or cycle. It's just like entering in a jungle with a variety of flora and fauna. You can also spot a deer (correct me if I am wrong but I spotted something which looks like one) or some herons. It is bang opposite Leslie station with ample of parking space. This stretch extends hoto Finch Avenue East with small bridges to cross. All in all a must go with friends and family

A Nice nook of green amidst the hustling bustling city. A good place for a walk, run or cycling.there are benches along the trail and you can sit by the East Don river for some quality quiet time.
