This has been my vets for years. My 17 year old cat recently died at home and I brought her in to be cremated and asked the staff if they could get a paw print from her as I couldn't and really wanted one. When I picked her up by the end of the week they had got 4 paw prints for me Compassionate staff and very nice.

My Jenny fell ill very quickly. EMAH took her in within 3 hours. I was greeted with empathy and my baby girl is home and on the mend. The best place ever. Finally eating after 3 days.

Friendly staff! Just started bringing my kitten here. When our family cat Lily passed away suddenly, during a visit to the vet, the team sent us a sympathy card. That was really thoughtful of them.

I wanted a new vet for my dog Wilson so I went to this clinic they treated Wilson for the cancer growth in his mouth.unfortunately he only lasted awhile longer.the day came when I had to have him put down so I took him in. ALL the staff and vet were so very kind and compassionate during this difficult time.thank you to East Middlesex animal hospital for all u did for wilson he will be dearly missed prices here were really reasonable. I would highly recommend this vet clinic.

Update: this clinic changed ownership when Dr. Alex retired. Dr. Dev is great with my animals and they are comfortable with him. I find this vet to be honest and knowledgeable. Still happy with this animal hospital.

Dr. Alex is a straight shooter and tells things as they are; I appreciate his straightforward approach. Wait times can be long sometimes but with my multiple pets the better prices are worth it.

Worst animal hospital ever. Extremely poor service. Spent over $300 to have our kitten Xrayed to then have them ignoring us, hanging up on us, not answering questions, and refusing to provide the Xray results to alternative vets that were also reaching out to this vet MULTIPLE times. We had to take our kitten to an alternative emergency animal hospital sine this one was so incompetent (our kittens health continued to decline). The vets at the new place agreed that East Middlesex Animal Hospitals behaviour is very unprofessional and unhelpful and was actually very dangerous for our dying kitten.they did not care about the time sensitivity. And have still refused to provide any of the work we paid for to alternative vets. Unless you enjoy being hung up on, ignored and your pets safety completely disregarded, DON'T GO HERE!

Visited the veterinarian today. Dr. Dev was very professional and friendly. He was very gentle with both our dogs. We are very pleased. Thank you.

Took our great Dane in because we were concerned and dr Alex had always been great, week he's not there anymore FYI
The new owner should be shut down. Terrible vet. Didn't look at the issues we asked him to, took money for shots, actually physically hurt our dog and now our beloved pet is dead less than one week later.

Been coming here for probably over 18 years and there awesome the staff the vets and Amanda that's been there for ever awesome lady that's there for you 100 percent like they all are and some employees are so beneficial valuable to a business to make it grow and keep the service topnotch and Amanda is one of them for this place but every one is awesome there tyvm

I brought my sick girl Maggie today and the staff was wonderful. The vet techs at the front desk were so friendly and funny. Dr. Dev was so thorough and kind. Explained everything perfectly and addressed her needs. Highly recommend this clinic for sure.

I was a mess when I called to get my dog in. He was struggling so bad and no other vets seemed to care or be able to get him in quick enough. The staff were so friendly and caring and were able to get him in asap. Highly recommend just based on this experience.

Friendly staff, and the veterinarian knows his stuff. I've tried others who couldn't deal with or solve the problem, but this vet is calm, relaxed and confident about what your pet needs. And with the renos during spring/summer '22, they're growing. Prices are somewhat lower which is also hugely advantageous.

Wouldn’t even see us for an emergency. Really disappointing considering we were told to contact them as they are an emergency clinic.

A joke of a doctor and clinic. Vets are supposed to people that love animals, I get the feeling from this doctor that is not what he is about.
Witnessed with my own ears him yelling at his staff and the staff just continued on with their day as if this is probably how they are treated every day.
Disagrees with clients and gets rude with them if they disagree with him.
I’m not to sure about this place all around, the other reviews I’ve read on here are not the greatest either as I’m expecting others have had poor experiences.

I was worried with some of the comments on here but decided to take her in. Glad I did very pleased with the care she got.wasnt good news but they where very friendly and kind. Definitely recommend them.this will be our new vet. The price is very reasonable not expensive.

Prices have jumped up I was never charged a vet fee every time before so that’s a bummer makes for less trips to the vet

Awful vet service they over charge ppl they will not do payment plans for really expensive surgeries. Greedy rude ladies that answer the phone. If you say you dont have the full amount of money they say ok and hang up they dont care about animals they only care about money. I will be switching my vet to another one that does help animals and will do payment plans for really expensive surgeries. For ppl that are struggling through this hard time. The up the price in thing. While they already make a ton of money you can this doctor is greedy and awful man the women there a rude and unprofessional I wouldnt trust my dog there anymore.

This was my first visit here. Everyone was very friendly and patient with my dog, who had never been to the vet before. He was thorough, made me aware of optional vaccines but didn't push anything on me. I thought prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be using this clinic for my dog and recommend it highly.

Someone recommended us this clinic and we went there to get a quote to remove a lump on our dog. Dr. Dev did a surgery and it was succesful, now Tommy has a new clinic and we are very happy. Excellent service, Dr. Dev very kind and professional, the staff is courteous and polite. We highly recommend this clinic to everyone

We've gone to this vet clinic for many years. Getting used to having Dr. Dev:) Our beloved german shepherd had to have a major unexpected dental surgery this week (after having her check up and all of her shots less than a month ago) and we were very stressed about the price tag! They were so gentle and compassionate with our baby and obviously did their best to keep the price reasonable for us, charging us only the quoted price even when they ended up having to do more work than we thought. A real blessing. Thank you!

I feel listened to when it comes to my pets needs. The staff are great! Very caring and reliable!

Dr. Dev completely destroyed what Dr. Alex had built, and it's extremely unfortunate. My dog hurt her leg getting into the vehicle on the way to the vet, and he told me it was the tendon and to comeback in 4 weeks to check it again. We came back again in 4weeks with no change in my dogs injury, and he told me the tendon is not healing and will need an xray to see if she needed surgery. I went back again for the xray and turns out the tendon is fine. Over $1200 later with numerous visits, and i still dont know whats wrong with my dogs leg and this Dr. Dev is just out for your money.

Friendly staff. Veterinarian was very informative and went into detail to discuss my pets health. Had to make multiple trips and never got a definitive answer but pointed me in the right direction. Prices were a bit steep but I've been to other places that charged a lot more. Overall it is a thumbs up.

Dr. Alex is gone and so are all of his incredible staff. New vet, Dr. Dev, is a mediocre vet at best, but the way he has treated the staff there is disgraceful. They have all left and/or he made them leave. These were the staff that I spoke with much more than Dr. Alex, they treated my pets like their own and were always in a good mood. I noticed after Dr. Alex left that all of the staff were not the same. They didn’t speak if he was around and when he wasn’t around they spoke quietly and seemed nervous. I am not putting the new staff down, they have all been very pleasant and professional and I have no idea if they enjoy working for him. I knew right away that I didn’t like him but kept going because I love the staff. He has no interest in the knowledge I have of my own pets, all of whom are over 10. If anyone knows where the staff of Dr. Alex have gone, please post it as I am searching for a new veterinarian.

My nan has been taking her little dog here for years. And has never had a problem so I started taking my greatdane here and they are always so understanding, they listen to my concerns and advise me on what's best for Pluto. I could not have found a better vet.

It's a great Veterinarian Clinic I have no issues when I go there very prompt and happy staff after a few visits they know who I am as I come through the door they are a great support system for my Furry friends to stay healthy

Dr Alex was wonderful but I had to take my cat in, as he was sick. No one informed me that it was a new vet. He’s terrible. No communication. I had to take my cat back because his treatment failed. Then failed again. Took him to another vet and now he’s back to health. He almost killed my other cat. Said she was in fine condition to undergo surgery. Day of surgery came. Cancelled it due to gut feeling. Lots of pressure from staff and heat from them about cancelling. Got a second opinion. She has a heart condition which if they went ahead with the surgery, she would have died from the anesthesia. My son takes his dog there and I told him to never ever take him there again. Please look out for your pets. I’m so angry and upset with these dangerous experiences.

The staff and Dr.are wonderful people! Our dog had a cracked tooth with an abscess and our vet and a bunch more I tried could not get her in until at least Oct.
When I called them, she was booked in for surgery the following week. All went well, and their prices are a lot more reasonable than London prices.

We have been using this vet for over 7 years now. We have always been happy with our service from both the previous vet and the new vet who took over the practice. They have always gone above and beyond for us.

They let us neuter our kitten to prevent marking in out apartment! Bear healed very quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful! We will be hopefully bringing Simon here for his vaccinations!

My family has been taking our fur babies here for many years since Dr Vanderspank and then Dr Alex we always received the best care and compassion over all the years I visited today with my dog for her annual check up and shots and to my surprise to learn Dr Alex was no longer there Dealing with Dr Dev today was great he really explained things and talked to me about my different opinions I look forward to getting to know Dr Dev for the care of our pets

The vets are friendly and knowledgeable, offices are clean and well organized. The pricing is better than most vets within the city beating most by 10-25% there is no prejudice against any dogs going in (bully breeds, Dobermans, Rottweilers). All animals are greeted first before any examinations are done by the vets and vet techs. They can oftentimes deal with emergency cases during business hours and it is not hard to get an appointment. Overall I would definitely recommend this veterinary hospital/clinic

Dr Dev and his team are top notch. Always a welcome smile and go out of they're way to help. Friendly knowledgeable and fees are very reasonable.

I’ve been taking my rescue dog here and she loves coming to this clinic. The staff always are so friendly and love to come give my fur baby lots of pets when we arrive. Both the veterinarians who have treated my dog have been very kind and gentle with her and they won’t try to pull the wool over your eyes with unnecessary meds or services. I trust this clinic with all my animal’s needs.

I brought my chihuahua in for a dental cleaning and numerous extractions that were vital to her health. The staff were extremely friendly and treated my dog wonderfully. My original vet in london wanted over two thousand dollars where here it was half the price. The vet was very honest and true to their quote on what needed done. My dog is now feeling much better and I will be coming back for all of her further needs even though its a bit of a drive its totally worth it! I would recommend them to everyone

Just before Christmas, our 10 year old Golden Retriever was in need of emergency surgery for a large mass that ruptured. Dr. Dev was phenomenal in knowing that Prince's iron needed to be higher in order for surgery to happen. Through blood work, Dr. Dev kept an eye of when the proper timing for surgery was. The surgery happened 2 days before Christmas and Dr. Dev thoroughly performed a very in depth surgical procedure on Prince. This surgery would have been double the amount and more had we gone elsewhere. We know as a family who have had 3 other Golden Retrievers, that these precious animals are not here forever on earth with us but we are very very thankful and pleased with how professional as well as caring Dr. Dev was with Prince. On Christmas Eve, Dr. Dev actually phoned our home to check up on how Prince was doing in recovering and that spoke so much to our family. We are very thankful that everything was successful and realize that sometimes it doesn't always go that way because our precious pets only have a certain amount of time with us on earth. With all of this said, we highly recommend East Middlesex Animal Hospital and Dr. Dev for a vet. He truly does care and spent a lot of time with Prince after the surgery for multiple checkups / making sure the surgical spot was cleaned properly, and that the stitches came out after a healthy and certain amount of time had went by. Thank you East Middlesex Animal Hospital for your professionalism and care.

I wouldn't go anywhere else. I love Dr. Alex. He's great with all my animals. He lives next door. They get a free exam with their shots. Also when I declawed my cats he kept them in hospital 48 hrs to make sure they were comfortable & not in pain. He also works Saturdays & some evenings

Dr Alex and his staff are caring, compassionate, accommodating and nonjudgmental. I had accidentally cut my dog while grooming him. I panicked and showed up first thing in the morning to get my dog medical attention without a scheduled appointment or phone call. They quickly made room for my dog to see Dr. Alex and offered to do the surgery that day. It was only after a successful surgery that I discovered that this was there first day back after the holidays. They did what was best for my dog and adjusted their time to help us out. I am so greatful to have access too and be connected with this amazing team. My experience was exceptional. Thank you so very much for all you did for us.
