My dog was unwell, and they made every effort to accommodate us on short notice. Thank you to the team at East Mountain, from me and Dexter.

Very compassionate. Had to put my cat down and they were very sympathetic. Let us be with him as long as we liked.

Very friendly and kind staff, even though was abit late to the appointment. Still accepted to take my dog without hesitation or rescheduling. Very fast and effective.
Recommend this animal hospital to all pet owners

Helpful in some ways, not so helpful in others. Thankfully they were able to get me in at a later hour but faced some challenges when they said my dog needed to be sedated firstly to be shaven to inspect the area then without looking stated she required stitches, extensive wound cleaning and and wanted to be held over night as well. The vet tech on site unfortunately didn’t speak English very well and seemed to not have the greatest insight on vet care.
Left that night with a antibiotic and pain medication shot, brought into my vet the next day as was told no stitches were ever needed and they didn’t need to sedate her for shaving.

Felt like this hospital purely wanted $$$

Tuesday June 13 2013 The manager was very rude to me.yelling instead of talking.they terminated me going there.becaus I hung up.the way the manager was talkingto me is not ETHICAL PERIOD the manager doesn't know how to control her words and attitude.
Also to get a prescription I had to pay the Dr. $20 EACH TIME when they could send my prescription to our local pharmacy. The excuse I got from the staff is. OUR FAX MACHINE IS BROKEN HELLO ITS BEEN A YEAR OR MORE ITS BROKEN. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS
TREATS THEIR CLIENTS SO RUDELY. The manager this morning needs to learn how to treat people. I had to hang up on her because she kept raising her voice and not letting me talk.
This is not the first time this vet has treated me RUDELY

Theres 2 sides to a story.

* If they treated me like this you can just imagine how they treat our pets. Its something to really think about.

TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED.

This vet is amazing. I’ve already sent two friends who were unhappy with/in need of a vet to them. They are amazing. Vets that give good service and acceptable prices are hard to find. But a vet like them with outstanding service and good and fair prices is a gem!

This clinic does not put your pet care first at all! It's a business! All they care about is the money with no hesitation to add extra costs.
I brought my cat to this clinic with a urinary blockage. They were successful in unblocking him, but later noticed he needed surgery to remove bladder stones. When it was time to do the surgery, they would not start it unless the money was paid. When I made my way to the clinic to pay the insane amount, they were under the impression I was not going ahead with the surgery and prepared a "refusing medical advice " form. I was furious. I then told them that is not the plan and they continued to tell me the surgeon went home for the night and will not be able to complete surgery for 5 additional days, of course raising the hospitalization cost. Complete miscommunication at this clinic when surgeon told me he will be back the next day. Do not take your pet's here! They can't even do a complementary nail trim. Very unprofessional!

I visited East Mountain Animal Hospital Sunday for the first time with my dog Teddi. He needed an emergency appointment, and I felt fortunate enough they were able to see him, same day. The staff are all very kind and accommodating, nothing but great things to say about this place. The vet tech that helped Teddi was wonderful, she helped make the experience both pleasant and comfortable given the circumstances. Dr. Kris was great, he was knowledgable, friendly, and patient answering all my questions. I never felt pressured at any point during my appointment and left with answers and a hopeful solution, all in the same visit. Very grateful, and would highly recommend.

EMAH was willing to take my dog in right away as he’d been sick for a few days with vomiting and diarrhoea and not eating. My regular vet couldn’t see my dog til Friday and this was Tuesday when I called them. So then I called the next vet on the list and they wanted to charge me $175 for a same day appt. Next I called EMAH and they gave me no hassle at all. No wait time and very friendly service. They are now my new vet. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I had an emergency with my dog, the vet and vet tech were friendly and were kind to my dog. They were able to assess my dog, and give her the proper medication and treatment. I received emails of my bill, and to ensure I could call them back if needed. The price was very reasonable as well, no extra cost considering my dog was not one of their regular patients.

Didn't feel welcomed, appointment time messed up, one of the staff barely acknowledged my dog and I but they were all over everyone else. Wasn't a welcoming environment, didn't feel comfortable with my dog in their care.

Terrible costumer service … waiting over 24 hours for a vet to call and give an update on our pet … absolutely would not recommend

New Staff some of the originals are still there, Polite and straightforward. Been Remy's vet since they opened.

The team was able to take my dog in an emergency situation when he was stung by something outside and had a bad reaction! They fit us in within the hour, took great care of him and were super friendly. They were also extremely affordable, especially considering how last minute they took us. Thank you all:)

My cat developed pyometra, my regular vet was unable to treat her right away but recommended East Mountain for her emergency. They took her in right away, she was in bad shape, she had to be admitted over night on iv fluids, antibiotics and get her to a point she was strong enough to have her surgery. I was very pleased with the Dr and staff how kind and understanding they were when I busted into a snotty sob. I was ready to hand over my first born, to my surprise they were very reasonably priced considering how sick my Esme was. She was very well taken of and when I went to pick her up she was purring like a motor boat. Thank you East Mountain Animal Hospital for taking such wonderful care of her.

Staff was friendly and thorough and exam for my dog was quick. A staff member even picked up my dog and took him to the back of the clinic due to another dog being loud and rambunctious. Also, very happy with service and would recommend them to family and friends. Clinic very good at keeping in touch through e-mail about various topics, events and services.

This team is fantastic!

We came to East Mountain Animal Clinic because our pup wasn't well. He fell sick over the weekend and we were very anxious to have him seen and treated by a professional. We called about 5 places but everyone turned us away-too busy. This was incredibly stressful, but everything changed when we call East Mountain. They were relaxed, friendly and supportive. We saw them within hours.

Every member of their staff left a great impression on us. We especially want to thank Victoria for being so kind and gentle, and Dr. A.for being so professional and thorough.

It's noteworthy to mention how clean and modern their facilities are. Prices were much lower than we anticipated. (Bonus!)

Overall this was a 5 star experience and we want to thank all of the staff for their help. Cheers to being awesome!

These guys are great! When my dog got sick and no other vet in the area had room for him these guys took us as an emergency as a last second customer. They were so friendly informative and only did what was necessary. With their help within a few days my dog was feeling great again I highly recommend these guys for all of your Veterinary needs

We used to like this place.but we've come to realize too many vets are all about the money. We sadly had to bring our husky in who had been hit by a car. We were approved for a loan for the surgery he needed but they would not start until they received the payment which was going to take 24 hours to process.but by then he would have been dead. We were told the best option was euthanasia. This was 2 months ago and we are still completely heartbroken. We paid for his pawprint but sadly couldn't afford his ashes. We were told his print was sent by mail and would take up to 6 weeks. 6 weeks went by and we called asking when the print may arrive and were then told it was still at the office. Then we were told he had still not been cremated and they were waiting for our payment. We are low income and it's been hard enough after vet bills and the $300 for euthinizing. They wanted another $300 for us to bring home his ashes. Otherwise it's $100 to have him cremated with other animals and ashes disposed of. If we can't pay we are put down as abandoning our pet. This broke my heart all over again.he was a family member.not just some unloved animal. We didn't want to let him go bad had no other choice. There was a time I would have recommended this place.now I just can't believe the position they have put us in.maybe not all of then.but some there are heartless.

WARNING: SCAMMERS, Most expensive place. The owners will steal your money even when they have made a mistake with your tests done for your pet. Please do not bring your pets here for any reason. The veterinarians have absolutely no compassion for animals. My cat was brought in the back for blood work and he was screaming. I am filling a lawsuit against these evil people. Their Idexx blood machine is broken, they will give you inaccurate information. The vets have no compassion for animals. They have a quota for each client to reach no matter how minor the issue is, and treat you like a walking ATM machine. They scammed me really bad and now my cat is very sick. I had blood work done for my cat and found out a week later from another vet clinic this blood work was sent to that it is completely invalid. East mountain does not repair their blood work machines and gives you the incorrect test results to go by. The blood work values were all incorrect and if they were legit my cat would be dead. I want a refund for the blood work. The vet didn’t even go over the blood values with me but pushed me to pay for other tests without going over the details of blood work. I had to have blood work redone somewhere else. East me so many mistakes in the past and this was the last straw. If you have a pet that is not well they will keep you uninformed to keep you paying for more tests and medications. They are in this business for the money and will do anything possible to fool you and take your money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM EAST MOUNTAIN. IF YOU HAVE HAD AN ISSUE WITH EAST MOUNTAIN PLEASE CONTACT THE OVC, Ontario veterinarian college.

My mother moved to Texas and left her cat, Monica Slowly the cat has been dieing from cancer. I made an appointment at the SPCA, but when she showed signs of extreme distress, I decided not to make her remain in pain. East Mountain Animal Hospital was able to take her in much sooner. Upon arrival they had a room ready where I was able to comfort Monica. She was so comfortable in fact she drifted off to heaven on her own in my arms.

The staff is very profressional and compsnsionate.

Went to this animal hospital for the first time a few days ago.from the people at the front desk to the veterinarian himself we’re all so kind.when we had a question the staff answered it perfectly for us.they were so gentle with our cat.it was a hard visit for us, but the staff was so kind and friendly from the moment we walked in to the moment we left.

Was our first time there. After reading a few reviews of people being rude we decided to give it a try. They were very greeting walking in. All of them were super friendly. From our first experience we have decided to make them our vet for our dog. Good job. Great price. Nice environment.

I got a new puppy and needed a place nearby for a health check and 2nd vaccine. I was able to get an appointment in a very few days. Staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly. Didn't have to wait once inside. Prices were reasonable and I even a got seniors discount! Now I am one step closer to having my walking buddy ready for the park!
