East of Brunswick Pub and Kitchen

This bar was the go to spot after basketball on Tuesdays and now they have started karaoke and it is horrible, the volume is too loud. No one wants to sing so the people running it sing and they are horrible, we drank faster so we could leave faster. No one can hear anyone talk, even the servers can't hear us. Used to be such a sweet spot to grab drinks and catch games, but we will find another one.

Just hit up EOB. What a sweet spot. Had Joel and Amanda as my bar and service. Had an amazing time! Joel has personality personified. Amanda brings the cool. Drinks food. And service was perfect. This place needs nothing; deserves everything.

Not sure if anyone works here. There were no staff around for most of my visit. The food was pretty good, but as mentioned, the service not great.

Terrible experience. Came here with a large group a few months ago, and the bartender was so lost he double charged me for a bill my friend already paid. After numerous calls and visits to the store, including promises that their “accountant” would review the transaction and even promises to E-transfer me funds, nothing was resolved. I even left copies of receipts with them! Management was giving the runaround and ultimately failed to deliver a semblance of decent customer service.

The actual in-restaurant service was fairly lousy too, too little staff to properly tend to tables, forgotten orders and I overheard several patrons complaining about being completely forgotten.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

This bar went above and beyond! The night was way better than we expected and Joel, Sebastian and Amanda were a great time!

Fun place with shuffle board! Cheap shots and the calamari is tasty. Shout outs to Michelle, Joel, Lisa, Sebastian, AND AMANDA for great service!

Went with a few friends at lunch around 1200. The place was clean and has an outdoor patio and indoor area with lots of seating. The server was friendly and patient. We waited about 20-30 minutes for food, but the service was really good and our server was attentive. All orders were correct. Food was hot and pretty good. Prices are average - burger and fries was $17 pretax. Drinks have the usual mark up but they do have a pint of the day for 4.50 before tax. My friends had pizza that was good, and poutine that was reported as “just okay. ” My burger was pretty good but not epic. Overall, reasonably priced Toronto restaurant very close to spadina subway station.

Service was great. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was absolutely fantastic and the portions were generous.

I stopped for a quick pint. Haven't been here before. 2 pints and a shot of whiskey (Tuesday sales) for under $15? Staff is awsome! Will be back!

Just okay, did not like the limited options on their late night menu. Although, pizza and wings were good. Beer was cold.
A Saturday night in this area at 10pm, I was slightly surprised to find out they were switching from their regular menu to a very limited late-nite menu. I will return before 10.
Also, staff and service were very professional and pleasant.

Proper pub fare! The boss and I had to hit this place up and it hit back. The mozzarella stick was delicious. Garlic Parmesan wings were excellent and the S’more cake literally put us both in a diabetic coma. LoL highly recommend. Would like to come back and try the pizza.

Just okay. I didn't think much of their late night menu choices. However the wings and the pizza I did order, were pretty good. Beer's cold, and service friendly.just disappointed in my choices considering it really wasn't that late for a Saturday night.

The 55 taste-sample offer is truly worth it! It includes one appetizer, two mains and two desserts. The food was very rich, flavourful and of course the price was incredibly worth it!

Would highly recommend.

I like this place, the food was good, like the ambience, we ordered the beer for the day and it was good. Overall, had a good experience.

I’m writing this review and I still don’t have my food. I ordered over an hour ago lol. I gave my experience a 2 star because the DJ was amazing! If you’re coming here for drinks I’d recommend but just for door beware of a long wait!:) also you can only order pizzas after 10pm so beware of that!

We had such a great time at East of Brunswick! The have such a great food & drink menu filled with customizable options - we tried their Buffalo cauliflower bites, Margherita pizza, the honkin tonkin pizza, so many cocktails & of course the banana split! We HIGHLY recommend checking out this restaurant- they have such a great patio (dog friendly with their own menu!) & fresh pizza dough that tastes absolutely delicious. We’re definitely coming back for more delicious food & drinks - also an added bonus, the service was amazing! 11/10

Service was very slow, food was decent. Not a terrible pub-style option, but ultimately leaves much to be desired.

Below average food, more than the average waiting time for food and drinks; One of the beer I ordered tasted like it had gone bad.

Went here after seeing a tiktok about this place and was honestly very disappointed. Our server was very kind and the drinks are reasonably priced but they couldn't serve half the drink menu bc they were out of so many of the products. We also ordered nachos we ended up sending back because they didnt put the chicken we asked for and also they dont serve salsa or sour cream? So it was very dry and bland

We came to enjoy a Friday night in Toronto. We ordered the bacon caesars to start and they were absolutely delicious. The GM already came up to our table to kindly go over the menu with us and gave us his top picks. We had the epic mozzarella stick and the buffalo cauliflower bites to start. They came out on two boat looking trays. WOW these were excellent to start off. We highly recommend these as your apps. Then we ordered the peppereno and honkin' tonkin' chicken pizza's. Very delicious pizzas with so much flavour! Then for dessert we had the banana split! Not only was the food and drinks superb but the service was great and we really appreciated the kind GM coming to our table to chat with us about the restaurant!

East of Brunswick has a new menu with handcrafted pizzas, iconic burgers and all new cocktails! It’s located right at Spadina and Bloor and has a nice patio as well as indoor seating! They offer daily drink specials that you won’t want to miss!

Their handcrafted pizza is made with Poolish dough which is a technique used by Polish bakers in the 19th century, similar to sough dough! We tried their Maui Wowie pizza which was a twist on a Hawaiian pizza! It had both BBQ sauce and apricot jam which added a combination of sweet and savoury!

I really enjoyed their Buffalo Cauliflower Bites which were crusted in pretzels and tossed in Frank’s hot sauce with a drizzle of dill ranch! The Epic Mozzarella Stick is called Epic for a reason, it’s one large cheese stick covered in marinara sauce! East of Brunswick has a large drink menu, so everyone is bound to find something they like! There are a ton of cocktails, beer options and non-alcoholic drinks!

Appetizers were good, especially the Buffalo cauliflower bites and sweet fries. Nachos were a disappointing tiny portion, not a sharing platter that was expected. Diverse drinks menu. Had the Greek pizza - It was okay, at best. Atmosphere on patio was good. I would go back, but at the same time, there are probably many similar eateries in Toronto

Only one time I visited here. Not so sure that it’s going to happen again. Ordered pizza, of two kinds. Have to say, it’s really a good one. Medium size pizza is 18$. Won’t prefer their nachos, though.

A nice place which is close to the subway station. The seating outside is not too close to the road and cars so it is enjoyable. They have a nice variety of drinks and the pizza I tried (Maui Wowie) was delicious.

Good vibes + tasty ‘zza is always a good idea! I had a fabulous time at East of Brunswick this past weekend. The ambiance was great; I love that they have live music on certain nights + the manager Andrew was an absolute pleasure! He was very attentive & gave great suggestions. As for the food, the pizza was REALLY good! I tried three different pies, the Quattro fromaggi was delicious and I loved the Ring of Fire. + I love that they offer a few of their hand-crafted cocktails in pitchers, we really enjoyed the Sparkling Mint Lemonade. I recommend East of Brunswick for their delicious ‘zza & amazing service. I’m already planning my next visit at EOB.

As a restaurant owner myself I don't generally write reviews as I know there are plenty of bad reviewers out there that continue to stigmatise the process simply because they are not happy in life.
My son David raved about this pub so I decided to take him there for dinner over the weekend. First of all by no means was the food extravagant or of fine dining standards but it was very tasty. The main reason I am writing this review is because of the service, it was excellent the server had steps of service down to the tee and went out of her way to accommodate, we met the General manager who checked in on us a couple of times which you do not see very often anymore and which I'm trying to push in my restaurants he was of great character and very friendly it seemed he was the same with every table and actually enjoyed being there. Overall food 4/5 and service 5/5. Alil I believe his name was good job we will certainly be back and most definitely recommending to our family friends with there kids studying down the street.

Had a very enjoyable time tonight. Amazing service from the lovely Cassandra. She recommended the Margahrita Pizza and Henderson Amber ale which were both delicious. The restaurant and bathrooms were very clean as well. We sat on the patio under the lights and had a great view of the CN tower. Everyone was adhering to covid guidelines which made the experience that much better. Can't wait to visit again.

No better way to beat the heat and finally reconnect with friends, great location, very large shaded patio. Manager, Anil was very attentive, efficient, friendly and welcoming - food and drinks were awesome.
