Definitely the best breakfast in Welland and the staff are very welcoming i recommend you check this place out if you want good food for a reasonable price. The atmosphere is fantastic too

Breakfast with my daughter and no complaints. Large portions, freindly service. Need to invest in taking more than just cash, normally I do not carry more than 20 so would have kept us out.

Still the best place in Welland for breakfast! The Duke and breakfast poutine are a favorite!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place to head for a lunch date. I really wanted a grilled cheese made with real cheese as opposed to single slices and he has a gluten allergy so we need gluten free options.
When I called to inquire the girl who answered the phone was friendly and much to my delight had both gluten free options and real cheese.
The diner is tiny and reminiscent of a 50s/60s diner. The kind of place where you know the food is going to be yummy. Not a chain corporation place.
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu!
My grilled cheese was great and the fries were amazing! Crisp and cooked well, and his gluten free toast was good - I can’t wait to go back!

First visit, food was great.no snotty whites in the eggs for the eggs bene.very reasonable prices, 4 ate for $50 including tip, wait staff was awesome and friendly. Fairly quiet as well and great decor.

Front desk clerk/server very cold and unfriendly. She seemed annoyed at me when I woud talk to her or ask her a question, who knows, maybe its my accent or skin color that bothered her?

My first time here since it was The Temple Club! It has changed quite a lot, but it's great.

It's not that great to look at from the outside, but the food and service were fantastic. I would definitely go back.

I like this place. It is clean and friendly with comfortable seating and some booths. It is good diner food. I particularly like the breakfast menu, Pea meal, specifically. All the food I have tried is tasty, delicious and the portions are generous. The coffee is good, a very important detail in my books. The atmosphere is light, the room is spacious, and I find it comfortable. Lots of room for kids.

Highly recommended.
Note: They only accept cash, although there is an ATM on the premises. They will also do an e-Transfer.

Great food (forgot to take a picture) 2 of us ate more than enough and it was very reasonably priced and delicious.

This restaurant is CASH ONLY. Unfortunately, this is not well displayed and I only was informed as I was about to pay. There is only a tiny little piece of paper on the door to the dining room, which you wouldn't see if the door was already open. They conveniently have an on-site ATM, which charges a service fee of $2.35. The food was fine. I had the big bopper for $13.95, and my friend had just bacon, eggs and toast, and the bill came to almost $30. I understand my meal, but $13 for bacon, eggs and toast? Of course, we only find this out at the end. All in all, it's decent food, but they need to explain at the very beginning, when taking your order that it is cash only. I can't believe that in 2023, you don't accept electronic payments.

Awesome place for breakfast grate food and wicked service will be go back again and again. Been a year now and I'm still comming back almost every weekend.
