I have been coming here for several years now and have never been disappointed, the food is always fresh. For a small take out, this place is a gem.lots of choices, good portion size and reasonably priced. Special mention for Sanaa at the front, very polite and courteous and always greets customers with a big smile.

We ordered channa and Palak Gosht large trays for catering for our guest. The service and food has been remarkable. Very tasty and the lady Sana was very kind and great service was provider. Thank you for the amazing service. We totally recommend them!

Our family has been going here for biryani for as long as I can remember. In fact we used to get their biryani every week for years! Took a break in the middle and now started again a few weeks ago. Ordered their chicken biryani and the beef bun kabab today via uber. It's still the same taste and quantity 20 years later. Only reason I gave 4 stars, the bun kabab, although nice in flavour and absolutely loved that they pan fry the bun, it's much too big for the shami kabab itself. Personally, I'd rather they just used the smaller buns. Hidden gem, extremely well priced especially for today's economy. Btw, the biryani literally could feed 2-3 people. I've tried the aloo paratha before as well, I liked it, it's also huge, however the flour itself I felt lacked salt but I'd still try it again.

Small size biryanis, whether chicken or mutton, have only 2 pieces of meat, usually one meaty and one boney.what a rip-off! Over the years quantity and quality has gone down with all the dishes. Also, double check your receipt before leaving the store just to make sure you are not over-charged especially if you order in big quantities. A friendly warning! One more thing, don't order kheema naan.no kheema in it at all.big disappointment!

Have been a regular customer of Eastern Foods for quite sometime. The quality and tase that they maintain is something makes me come back for more. The staff here is very friendly. We grab our favourite Biriyani and variety of Kebabs when we feel like eating Desi food. A must try place if you are around Dundas.
