As expected, all went well. Professional staff are reliable and accommodating. They communicated clearly; both verbally and visually (sent photos and written assessment). Hand carwash is always a nice touch.
Incentives offset the somewhat higher prices compared to my previous mechanic. Eastside Auto is now the "go to" choice for all my car needs.

You hear a lot that "My mechanic charged me extras on repairs I didn't need" from a lot of people. Honestly, I share that experience with alot of people about most mechanic shops. The good news is; Not all are like that and there are many honest people and shops around - one of them is, Eastside Auto Service in Oakville. Why I say so? Well, my daughter had a punctured tire and ended up in this shop. They changed her spare tire for free. Now it might not be that big of a job but even 1 minute of their time was precious. Thank You Easide Auto Service for getting my daughter back on the road and on her way to work about 2 weeks ago! Not only you didn't charge her but you gave her your time too. Very kind of you and very much appreicated!

I drive all the time and I know a little bit about vehicles (by no means an expert however)

When I called, Jeremy at reception answered the phone, very kind understanding guy. Told him my Honda Civic needed the aluminum oil pan retapped given the threads were totally destroyed by my drain bolt and hence vehicle was leaking oil (most likely my own fault for causing the damage when I last changed my oil). I dont have a hoist for this kind of repair or a tap/die kit. So the mechanic Dave worked on the vehicle, again super helpful guy.

He managed to repair the threads tapping the hole slightly larger and hence get the problem sorted in a half hour. Labour charged was the going rate (mininum hour charged). I was glad that I didnt have to buy a new oil drain pan. I am very happy with their service.

Just had my car in for a yearly checkup/detailing, and I have to say, I've never encountered a more friendly and professional service. My car is second hand so things do need fixing more often, but the price quote was explained to me in depth and they were very transparent about everything they were doing. My brakes feel way more secure and they fixed some minor issues I didn't even know about! Your quote is presented to you online and they don't push you into anything you didn't agree to - just let you know if they found something that needs fixing and let you choose to proceed. The costs are very fair and the service is, again, exemplary.

They also shuttle you to and from your home if you live in Oakville, which is just wonderful on a 30+ degree day. I know I won't have to come back any time soon, which is a good thing when you're a mechanic!

I screwed up my oil cooler using the improper tool for the job. I knew that the repair was beyond my means, so I took the parts I needed to a trusted mechanic my parents know. This was Eastside.
I've sent others to them, but this was the first time using them myself. They gave me a great price on difficult work and had it done in record time, even without an appointment.
I particularly appreciated the inspection they did, which was emailed to me along with pictures and an invitation to discuss other maintenance.

5 stars, will be referring everyone to these guys for just about every car on the market.

I love this auto shop. Their work is thorough and excellent; customer service is superb. My car died late one night on the road (it was the alternator) ; I had it towed to Eastside;they contacted me first thing in the morning; car was repaired and ready to go early afternoon. This is an auto shop you can rely upon for good service and good counsel.

I brought my Explorer to Eastside Auto Service Chartwell for a safety assessment and certification. I was very impressed with the high level of efficiency and professionalism. I especially appreciated the photos of the two items that needed repair. I wouldn't hesitate to avail of their services again.

I brought in my car to check the unexpected noise in the Eastside Auto service. After I changed some parts, the problem looked more serious I talked to Jeremy through the phone for another quote and mentioned my car’s problem still existed. He asked me to drive by when I had chance. In 2 days, I drove to Markham, on the way back, the sound became serious. I was even thinking my car may not break properly if something happened. But thank God, I was safely back to Oakville and drove to Eastside directly. I told Jeremy the sound, he took a test drive with me without any delay. Finally he heard strange noise! I left my car there and got a shuttle home. In 2 days, I picked up my car, everything goes well perfectly now!

I want to say their service is wonderful! I didn’t make an appointment in the first time. They just checked my car and called me back maybe in just an hour to give me a quote. Very prompt service! I sent my car in the second time, Jeremy did a test drive immediately. Not only they take care our cars, but also try to serve the clients better and efficiently.

The only thing is I haven’t got a chance to ask what the real problem of my car was, because of the time I picked up my car, there was a line up

I have been a customer of this shop several times now and I have always had my expectations exceeded. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, turn around time is always quick and you are not without your vehicle for long. Shop is well-organized and effective. After every service your car leaves with a free car wash which is a real bonus! I never like paying for auto repairs but I feel the value is worth the price with these guys.can't say enough about them, I would highly recommend them to anybody in the Burlington Oakville Mississauga area
