Do not ever work for this company, they will hire you first and suddenly after few days will lay you off with a reason that they are low on work.

Worked here for a week in the Shipping Department. It's okay, not great.

Security is very strict, No Phones and daily security check. This means No Music is allowed either.

Manager was alright, easy to work with. Other employees were okay, but would often speak a different language right infront of you.

Very Little advancement opportunities, especially as a temp.

Hi called but on this Map it kind of Google info it does say you're open till 6 PM now you call Anna says it's close at 5: 30 someone needs to update their stuff unprofessional unreliable just ridiculous it was and if this just for the holidays you didn't know how much it says just for the holidays between this time it's ridiculous. Definitely call ahead. It doesn't clearly state if it's just Not clear if this is an office a distribution center or store it sounds like it's a store that's supposed to be open till 6 PM the office is I can understand being close early but the store needs to be more clear

I've worked here for two Months the Manager is Dumb, I'm helping lead hand in Receiving then the Dumbo BabaTundee tells me to collect empty pallets instead of helping on the Dock. Worst Manager ever to work with in that Company!
Also the lead hand for Receiving is also Dumb I assist her with the truck unloading tells me you can't unload till drivers comes inside like whatever. Her name is Gaitri

Worst place ever to work.
Worst work environment. They think they hire robots not people. I wish I could give zero stars.
I worked at EB games for a week i was new to work I got hurt while picking up the heavy boxes. Rather than providing any medical support they just cancel your assignment because you stood up for your rights. They treat you like a machine. Some of previous employees thinks they are Supervisor and harassing new comers.
They don’t tell you and train you how to work they just give you orders.
Totally harassing work environment!

I worked here last year and the work is okay they don’t push you hard really but you hav to make sure you do it right. I loved to work here because no one tells you to work fast and the team leaders (Sharon and this other lady I don’t remember her name) are super nice. One thing I didn’t like is if you don’t come to work a few days 1-2 then they no longer want you to work for them. I worked part time and I couldn’t come for a valid reason and then the next day I came to work the id was gone from there. You don’t hav to punch your id in only, scan your card. I worked 10am-6: 30pm but sometimes the work is a lot and some days there’s not a lot to do. One day I didn’t get my second break because we had to complete the work by 6;30pm and there was not a lot of helpers to do the work. There’s this lady named simran saini she’s very helpful and I love working with her. The first day she was helping me make boxes and taught me a lot. I couldn’t make it without her. She was always there for me when I needed help!

This review specifically for EB games in this location. 2 staff work on March 19 are amazing they are very patient with us and accommodating despite it is 10 minutes before closing.
They can use more selections/options in terms of games

Working or buying from here is not good being a disabled person they do not follow the Canadian laws either -section 6 of the Equality Act from 2010 your more or likely to be harassed and (trick out your money) as the kids say these days it’s very sad because you got watch your every move being black while the others that you call team do whatever’s they please lazy team leads and supervisors (prejudice) so yea your money will go waste! After receiving the wrong order from online shopping through EB Games, I still haven't received the correct order despite returning the item wrongly delivered
Although the customer service promised that the game will be sent, the communication is very unclear and I am not even sure when I am going to be receiving my order

Absolutely horrible. Ordered a few items from this location and the mug I purchased was completely broken. It had several large cracks, and two massive pieces missing (the pieces weren't in the box either, so it was clearly broken prior to being packed). Tried to contact customer service several times, with no luck. Will never order anything from here again.

Placed a pre order for Demons Souls (PS5) online alongside with Sackboy (PS5). I received a partial shipment and paid for EXPRESS shipping. They took my money, and won't answer my emails, or phone calls. Tried contacting the help service through email, chat, and phone. I even went as far as going in store and no one could help me. Terrible customer service. I will never shop here again.

They dont give u national holiday pay. They pay if u work 8 hours before and after that day but they wont let u complete 8 hours and sends home early

Customer service refuses to authorize a pre-order return for the last of us 2 and is hiding behind the guise of "It's for your own privacy".

There is a solid reason why retailers are going belly up. Perhaps your senior leadership needs to be replaced with people who seek innovative processes that provide a positive and fair experience for your dwindling customer base.

I don't expect I'll get my money back. You're likely going to go bankrupt by the time this quarantine is up.

Absolutely the worst customer service for an online purchase ever. Made my purchase early October, and received a partial shipment. During the past 4 weeks, emails and calls to their CSR, did nothing, I get the same email content in every response, almost automated. On the phone, no help either. Yesterday I got an email cancelling the rest of my order, and the ones I received were not worth the shipping cost I paid for.
Lesson learned, never again.

If i could give zero stars i would, worst customer experience in my life they wont tell you how the warranties work the staff is incompetent talked with customer service about a issue with a warranty said they would call me back by the end of the day well i never received that phone call. I highly recommend everyone not to shop here cancel and pre orders you may have and dont bother with their warranties go to walmart or best buy

Buyer beware. Ordered my son a Xmas gift from there online service which clearly states all orders shipped to Po Boxs will be shipped via Canada Post as couriers dont shipp to Po Boxs. Got my shippment notification today and guess what they shipped my order via Purolator. Good job guys you cant even follow your own policies as stated on YOUR own website. Two thumbs down for you!

I placed an order with EB Games on November 22,2018. It was a big order, with over $200 worth of items, and was expected to come within 10 business days.
It is now December 12, I still haven't gotten my order, and I have had to call three times to track my order. It still has not shipped, and three of my ordered items are now out of stock and wouldn't get here before Christmas. This is ridiculous- if I hadn't called, I wouldn't have known that almost half my items weren't going to show up in time.
Considering how much I spent with EB Games, now in both time and money, I thought that at the very least I would get a clear shipping date expectation.
However, even after the third call, I am still waiting for another hour because of system errors with my order.
I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of order management, as well as the fact that I was never notified when an item I ordered was out of stock.
Before this, I've had pleasant in-store experiences with EB Games, but this has made me very reluctant to be a future customer in any way shape or form; unfortunate because I've always liked the products you have to offer, and at reasonable prices.
I'm now very frustrated, and hoping that the rest of my order will still be processed.
