When I came to the STC GameStop to pick up some NSW games with my brother. I was informed that this store has a rare BDSP switch here. My instincts told me to buy it. So this store has great stock for a medium sized store!

DREADFUL Online Order / In Store Pick Up experience. Whatever you do, do not order online and try to pick up in store - at least from this location. 24 hrs after my online purchase I’d heard nothing back via email, and numerous calls to the store went unanswered.

I decided to drive down in person as the item I’d bought is a Christmas gift and at the very least if it wasn’t in stock I needed to know so I could come up with a new gift option.

On arrival at the store and getting to the counter, my purchase was nowhere to be found. The item wasn’t in the store, the manager claimed “someone must have stolen it”, then claimed my purchase wasn’t in her system and blamed Game Stop’s head office. I mentioned not receiving any notifications of a cancelled order and she literally attempted to go through MY EMAILS ON MY DEVICE to prove I must have missed this cancellation (I did not.) The money was gone from my account though. She refunded me, with zero apology and a completely dismissive attitude. I get the possibility of system glitches, but a callous response of “well if someone stole it there’s nothing I can do” is unacceptable.

I generally don’t leave bad reviews but I am DISGUSTED at the customer service here. It bothered me so much after I left this store. DO NOT buy at this location. If I could leave zero stars I would!

Someone good me as soon as I went into the store. Staff member was able to help me find what I was looking for. Then helped me to check out.

Since when did the store train employees to just stand behind the checkout desk and not even help you or even acknowledge you? 2 employees just standing there on their phones blabbing away about the weekend they had. I'm sorry but after waiting probably 6-7 minutes I put my stuff down and walked out. My final review -5 star

The person behind the counter was screaming and misbehaving with another customer, definitely one of the worst customer experiences I witnessed. This was around at 2pm Dec 10th 2022. I had to stop my shopping and walked out immediately. Nothing against Gamestop but you can't have toxic employees like these!

If I could give 0 stars for this location, I would. The single star is for the cleanliness of the store, as well as the occasional once in a blue moon positive interaction I have, usually with the one female associate (I'm sorry I can't remember your name, but you're amazing!)

Of the 6 or so purchases I've made online to collect in store, the following issues usually arise:
A) Item is not in stock; however, when visiting in person, the item is sitting on the shelf.
B) Item is not in stock; however, when attempting to order it a week later, the inventory still shows in-stock despite being actually out-of-stock as per the staff, and no actions are made to adjust the inventory accordingly for a concise response
C) Any and all interactions I've had with the one, Asian, male associate with long hair, to which I've developed an avoidance behaviour towards. Of the limited number of interactions I've had with him, each and every interaction has been a negative one. He is not only too "by-the-books, " but is unable to understand the contradictory of said rules he abides by. When attempting to pick-up an order I had paid for online on August 20th, I was told that I would need to present my order ID as well as a piece of government-issued ID. I've been able to pick-up items in the past simply confirming all the order details, the item, as well as the cost; however, this associate would not allow it. The irony is, when asked if I may cancel the order and have it refunded, he had no hesitation in doing so. I understand that these rules are in place to ensure for loss prevention; however, if an individual is able to confirm each and every piece of information tied to an order, you should not have to enforce a mandate that is much more of a guideline. It's bewildering, to the point where if I see this associate, I do not enter the store, or I simply delay picking up, or simply letting it expire and cancelling the order several months later.

Love the enthusiasm of the salesmen it was so funny when me and my friend came into the store to check.if the ps5 was in stock after looking all over with bad results and I was even saying to him you know what the and will be only for the friendly salesmen to chip in and say the and is yes we have it lol it was really cool and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating

The manager is extremely rude and only because the games I wanted to trade in to get little credit for my next purchase she seemed least interested to buy the games, my games were worth 15 in total and she refused to take it only because her inventory was getting full for unintended games.

Bought a new game from a different location and didn’t realize the game box was quite mashed up. Since that store didn’t have any more copies I decided to come here to STC to have it replaced.

The store associate was rude, telling me I should just accept it as is because the game was on sale. Poor customer service and lack of understanding for collectors. Not to mention when I buy NEW products regardless of price I expect them to be new.

She also seemed less enthusiastic when I asked if she can check other location for stock. Fortunately, the other store associate knew how to talk to customers.

They didn't offer any suggestions when I said something qas hard to find the cashier just smiled and continued cashing me out and then when he asked me if I was a member or whatever and I said no he didn't even offer it to me and just said ok

Tall white dude straight up lied to my face. Told me product was “on hold for preorders” even though inventory literally says FOUR AVAILABLE.

Went to a different gamestop that actually have their product out on shelves

Terrible service, not helpful, dismissive - would not shop here.

Even the customer support line is extremely unprofessional, unorganized and simply don’t know what they’re doing. After multiple calls, still no resolution. Don’t think I’ll ever shop here. I definitely don’t recommend to shop here. Really upset and disappointed.

These guys know their games. The staff is very helpful and will hunt a game down for you if you are looking for something older or out of stock in the store. They always bring up good conversation and seem genuinely interested in talking about gaming. My experiences there have been nothing but positive and I would recommend this EB Games to anyone looking to be a part of a cool community of gamers

If I could give a zero I would! The employees of this store literally lie to their customers! I been trying to get a ps5 for the past few months and every time I call they say they don’t have it. This morning nov 22 I called the store at around 9: 30/10 am just before they opened to check if they had received it and I was informed they didn’t. Later on came to the mall around 3 pm to check other stores when I come by eb games to check and I hear the 3pm employee saying they received the ps5 s this morning and it was already sold out. The 3 pm employee was completely rude and when I explained the situation and asked why they lied about not having it in the morning she have a excuse and said we have to be at the door of the store every day in order to get it even tho I called and they lied about having it otherwise I would go to the store when they open. The two employees that “helped me” were lying and rude to us. Horrible customer service if I was the maneuver I would get rid of the two employees because they are making your store to look bad lying to their customers!

I really like this EBGames location. Since they've moved to the new larger location beside Walmart, they were able to have more variety of items. The staff here are also very friendly and always helpful in finding anything in the store. My go to place for all things games.

Recently relocated within the mall, nice layout but still a little small. Needs a larger selection of PS4 games. Good selection of vid game/movie-related items and items for younger children. Staff are friendly, funny and knowledgeable.

EB Games has a massive amount of games to choose from also lots of miniature action figures for those into collecting, you can also find toys too, hopefully, they will consider stocking those Cars, vans etc in the 1.64 scales the location is excellent as it is located in the Scarborough Town Centre next to the entrance of Walmart on the lower floor.

It's one of my go-to place for ebgames in scarborough or in ontario and it's one of my favourite ebgames in toronto love the boss and the co-workers even they come and go at the workplace also I love that they sell variety of merchandise in store.

This store is a bit on the small side, but they carry a pretty good stock of Funko Pops. The staff here is also so kind and helpful!

A great store for any video game lover! The staff were busy talking to a customer that had already paid so when I asked a question they gave me a quick answer and went back to their conversation. When it came time to cash me out they were helpful but it shouldn't have to be paying for something in order for them to help me

Great selection, great atmosphere. Lots of games on sale. The staff was helpful and interested in making sure that we found what we were looking for. So many cool items!

Gotta give this location the full 5 stars as the 2 " regular " staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable about the systems and games on a whole. I say regular staff because these two are usually here when I go. I'm surprised and a little embarrassed that I haven't learned their names as yet. If they don't have the info you are looking for they tell you straight up and I respect that more than a song and dance or guessing. Have helped my son pick out games on plenty occasions and help my wife's Call of Duty addiction and I am grateful for it
