EB Games

Now I will never use this location's game stop again in the future. Every time I go, they act offended and there's no courtesy in them. Never go because it's a place of compassion discrimination. When I asked if the game I was looking for was in the store, the answer was the price. I don't care about the price. I'm just asking for the game I want. They laughed in front of me if I thought I wouldn't buy it. I just paid for it coolly and bought the game I was looking for. This will be my last purchase here. Men with long hair and beards, and women are evil among the worst.

Always love going in to see the latest games and the great atmosphere these stores always have.

This company is my favourite video game store and I have been a loyal customer since the days when it used to be called electronics boutique (EB Games). Great staff, lots of games, deal, specials, toys, and other stuff to keep any age and gender happy and busy. The only downside is that there's not very much room to move around in, at least not at the location at Fairview Mall, but don't let that stop you.

I was there looking around and it was really really hot in that store. I'm pregnant and started to feel a lot of stomach pain. They gave me a bottle of water and rice crispy in hopes the would help me feel better. Very sweet. Also very knowledgeable in different playing systems and games. I readout want to get the play station 5 with the simulator so I can play flight simulator and travel the world!

So much selection! I guess there's not too many Gamestops in the area so this one is chock-full of games AND toys AND pop culture merchandise, all jammed into a small store inside the mall. Nice and enjoyable but it's almost too much stuff at the same time.

Why have a phone if you're not going to answer it? It's not difficult to answer and put me on hold if you're busy.

Grate Store definitely my son's fav store in the whole mall and when ever I like go in the food Cort entrance my son sees the sign and he's like "OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE HAVE AND ALL THE COOL STUFF IT'S SO BRIGHT AND COLOURFULL! " and he runs to it every time Xd and he LOVES FNAF

Can't go wrong with Game stop really. Especially since they have awesome new accessories like wallets, backpacks and even ramen bowls.

Wow, Staffs were way more understanding and polite then the last shop I went too. I highly recommend this shop I'll give it a 5 stars

I play more pc games than console games, but these guys have an awsome assortment of collectibles and peripherals.

Always a great place to go to get used physical games and geek merch, as well as brand new games. Systems are limited however, and with digital downloads on the rise, I fear for their survival. So if you value a physical copy of your Games, be sure to come out and support them.

Has alot of games just u pay alot for a used games and get nothing when u sell or trade your games

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND STORE. The fat assistant manager is extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. The blonde guy is also zero help. Hopefully they get new employees for this location. Complete goofs and waste your time. Buy online people, EB Games is a failing business

Had a question about how to connect an Xbox controller to a PC for my son and the two men working handled it perfect. We got the right stuff we neded and didn't waste any time.

Extremely High Grade Customer Service! I have a young family who loves to collect Pokémon products. The whole crew is very friendly. Particular shout out to Cherise, she has been absolutely amazing when it comes to entertaining my kiddo and extremely helpful with her up to date knowledge regarding upcoming pre orders available for Pokémon plush, funko pops… basically all Pokémon products! Definitely our family’s go to GameStop location, thank you guys so much for creating a magical experience for my family! ️️ Cheers!

Everytime I come here I get into a pationate talk about one thing or another with the staff. They seem to like their jobs.

My brother with autism who has been a customer for years purchased a PlayStation 5 after waiting on a waitlist for months. He had the foresight to purchase a warranty for the console. He was informed by the staff on day of purchase that if he bought the warranty it would cover the console (which includes the one controller) in it's entirety. The controller that came with the console has manufacturing defects making it unusable (trigger issue, which the store associate/manager stated was a common defect in PS5 controllers). My brother went in assuming his warranty would cover his controller but because "it was too late" after purchase he would be forced to use the warranty of the console (which is around 900$ for the PS5) on the controller (90$) which would void his warranty for the console. They then suggest he buy a used controller after "trading in" the defective controller for 28$ when the retail price of a new controller is $94.99. The gentlemen even went further and admitted that PS5 consoles themselves are known to "break down" in 5-6 months. Thankfully I was there to stop my brother from agreeing to use the warranty on the controller.

If you are going to buy something from this store (I don't know if it's this store in particular) be sure to ask about the warranty in great detail. If you have a loved one that suffers from autism make sure you are there to protect them from people trying to take advantage of the situation just to make a sale.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Will visit again when in the area. Located between the Walmart and food court. This location is easy to access.

Unless you know what you are buying no point of asking them questions about something you're interested in purchasing. There were three people there on Sunday and I specifically asked " the card I was purchasing if it will work for what am buying" and they all said yes! Well it did not and I was not able to return it or get any credit for it.poor service only there to sell

Pretty small store Wich van feel kinda crampt at times but overall it's well organized and we'll maintained. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about all things pop culture. I like going in there to browse various games and collectables and I often find myself talking to the staff members about my interests. It has a wide variety of all things need culture and they're rewards program is very good aswell! They're trade in program, not so much as you dont get as much value out of it if your trading in, but I've found several quality games in they're trade in bins so it is worth a look. Overall if you're looking to buy pop figures, vidoe games or anything nerd culture related I highly suggest this place!

For a small shop there's tons of selection. The staff are young but seem to know what they need to know. If your a funko collector the VIP is a nice perk

One of the bigger eb games i have been too, had a decent selection of games and collectibles. Store was a little crowded when i went but that was due to the christmas rush. They had sanitizer at the front of the store for you to use and social distancing measures were in place when i was there. The staff were very helpful and willing to help me find what i needed to get.

Great store has everything you’re looking for, if it’s new games and new stuff, not too much retro stuff here.
I feel bad for the employees they’re always very nice but they have such cramped working spaces and so much product they really need a bigger store in the mall, but they also have another location down the street so lol.

Trash I called and asked a question and the guy said no we don’t have it without even looking then hung up on me don’t go to this location

This is one of the better locations, staff are polite and understand their products for the most part, and most items are usually in stock

I will never shop at EB Games ever again. Purchased a headset from this location which when I got home turned out it only had one earphone. I took it back within a few days but could not find receipt. It was perfect in the box. I bought with debit card so had proof it came from the store. I actually wanted to upgrade to a more expensive one with 2 headphones. The guy refused to return it period. Never seen a policy like this ever. I wont be returning to an EB Games again. Ever. I threw the product in the garbage as it is useless to me.

It's a mall location so obviously space is a premium; the store feels "close" (confined) but has a good selection of games and collectibles available.

Constantly getting new stuff every weekday and now that they have toys you can't get me out of the store. Got the Ecto 1 Transformer here and couldn't be happier to get my hands on it. Theres stuff in here that would only be available online otherwise. Staff is super friendly and helpful and even suggest pre-orders based on your interests. Also great prices and surprise clearance prices at the checkout from time to time. (Got a Borderlands 3 sweater for $18.96!) Definitely my favorite place to spend an hour browsing.

Ps. Don't you dare buy my War for Cybertron Optimus Prime, i will be able to afford him one day. <3

Not very personable, every time I am there they ask after me as if I plan to steal from them, but they dont try to get to know me or my likes, they dont try to sell me anything. If they acting like interested people I may do more than browse

Very knowledgable staff. Good selection of games and pre played games. I have purchased pre play games before and never had any issues.

They almost always have what I need, plus lots my wallet could do without haha. Very friendly staff

Terrible customer service.
I bought an item from this location. It was defective and didn't work. I went back in to get my money back and they refused the return.
The guy helping me out was extremely rude to me and after time of arguing he finally said he could do a store credit or straight exchange.
At this point I wanted nothing to do with eb games as they do not respect their customers and so I pushed for a refund. All I got was a store credit after so much arguing and after proving the item was faulty.
This service is the sole reason shops like this won't last and everything is going online. Buy or beware for sure at this place. I strongly don't recommend shopping here or any eb games store.
Micro play and best buy is the way to go unless you shop online.

Great place for toy collectors. Karate kid figures anyone? Worth getting the edge platinum card if you visit often.

Ebgames carries a massive selection of games for modern consoles as well as a pretty awesome selection of merch from different fandoms. The staff and there enthusiasm and knowledge is what makes it good.

Cool and good place if you are into gaming. You can find some deals. Well you know it games are expensive but that's how it is now days.

I don't know it it was just a one-off incident that day but this store stunk last time I was there. Not metaphorically, literally, and it seemed to be the staff. The BO was so bad my wife nearly gagged and we left right away. Management should set some hygiene standards. Behavior like this is not helping dispel popular perceptions of gamers, and uncleanliness of this level is unacceptable in a sales or service environment and for health and safety in general. It was disgusting.

As a pc gamer, I don't hold brick and mortar games shops in very high regard. I might feel differently if I had a console, but I don't, and steam is so infinitely better than any brick and mortar shop, there's really no point in shopping anywhere else

Buy all my games from EB.except my digital stuff of course. Everything you need that is video game related.my little slice of heaven

Knowledgeable staff, and a great selection. EB Games is always my go to for new and used games.

EB is my favourite place for games. They're even better since they started selling all kinds of other geeky junk. We love dropping in and looking around, and usually wind up leaving with something.

Probably my favourite EB location around, talking to the staff feels less like a transaction and more like sharing mutual hype for what I'm buying and I'm totally down for that type of experience.

At this point EB feels much closer to a hot topic for gamers than an actual video game vendor. In the age of digital downloads I am surprised this place can afford to do so little to win your business.

During this visit my wife saw a (admittedly) very nice Harry Potter purse and the price wasn't gouge-level so we got it.

Lots of other knick knacks that are interesting. Not a fortnite fan but I am very envious that they have so much cool branded merchandise.

Love this store. They have definitely brought alot more merchandise in then just video games. This attracts my wife more now because she isnt much of a gamer but of a HUGR fandom person especially Harry Potter. The staff are very helpful and are willing to check other store stock if they dont have it in stock. Pickup these mugs from there. They have incredible detail.

This place used to have great service with the old employees the newer ones I find don't know as much as they chould consoldering where they work but still a good store to go to

Great place to get all things gaming and what not. They have a nice little rewards system as well. Everyone their seems to be friendly which is a plus!
