Nice store been there tons of times. However today an employee told my wife to leave because she had ice cream, like as if she is a child and going to get ice cream all over things and was embarrassing for her. So I decided not to make my purchase. Which I see kids going in there with messier things in they're hand and don't say anything. Very disappointing visit, I'm going to be making my purchases for my games elsewhere

This is probably one of the best locations to visit. Always fresh product and helpful staff. Frequent about once a week and never disappointed. Don't know the gentleman's name but he always makes me feel better about my purchases by telling me "how much money I saved today"!

Poor, rude customer service. Returning item and was asked if I had the same credit card, I said yes and he rudely asked to see it first. Made the return and then proceeded to charge me the wrong price on something else I decided to pick up by not scanning my loyalty card on the counter. Received attitude from the manager when I had to come back to correct the error.

I recently visited GameStop located in Square One, and unfortunately, my experience there was quite unpleasant. The customer service I received was extremely poor, with the person assisting me displaying a notable level of rudeness. It felt as though I was being inconvenienced by simply asking a question.

Moving on to the reason for my visit, I had intended to purchase a PS5. However, when it came time to make the payment, I encountered an issue with my card. Realizing that I needed to resolve the problem at the bank, I politely requested a few minutes to sort it out. Regrettably, the individual serving me responded with a disdainful look, which left me feeling disrespected.

Given the accumulation of negative experiences, I eventually decided to cancel my purchase altogether. At this point, the employee's behavior became even more aggressive, causing distress for both me and my companion. It was truly disheartening to encounter such unprofessional conduct from someone who represents the store.

In summary, my visit to GameStop at Square One was marred by the discourteous attitude of the employee and the subsequent confrontation. This experience has left me greatly dissatisfied and hesitant to return to the store in the future. I hope that steps are taken to improve the quality of customer service at this location, as it currently falls far below expectations.

Rude employees and why is there a line waiting to get inside the store? There was no game release this day either.

We visit Gamestop with the kids whenever we're at Square One. Never had a disappointing experience at this location.

Love this Gamestop! It’s staff is always helpful and welcoming as soon as you enter the store! Been shopping here since 2014 and the service has always been beyond 5-stars no matter how busy the store gets, from my experience. Keep up the great work!

I ask a service staff about an action figure that is not physically available in SQ1. I ask her if I can place an order from another gamestop in Welland and have them ship to SQ1. Lo and behold she called them up, have the item number prepared and after a week I got a call that the item is ready for pick up. A Good Quality Service deserves a Good Darn Review! Management should retain these kind of service oriented staff. 5 stars for the effort of quality service they put in to fulfill a customer's order.

I needed to buy a refurbished PS4 as a gift. I had very poor experience with customer service. The one male staff member spoke to me in a very condescending and disrespectful manner.

He essentially signed me up to the rewards program without my consent.

I won't be returning to GameStop and especially this location. I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Rude sales person! He clearly needs to change his attitude towards customers! Go to other Gamestop shop and avoid the Squareone shop.

Had a very positive experience here doing trade-in. The girl who helped me, Andraea, is well-aware of the on-going trade promo (the tattoo dude at Erin Mills doesn’t even know what’s going on). She quickly processed my transactions and explained how the trade-in values got bumped up by the promo before attending other customers.

I have been going to this location for a very long time and have seen the changes the store has undergone. The staff is always welcoming and are quite knowlegable over a variety of game genres.

Just like every other game stores these days. You would find more options online be it interms of price flexibility or types of content that you are looking for.

I can always find something to gift to my friends and siblings here, but for the first time ever, I was nerdier than the employees at this location.

They had no idea what I was talking about when trying to describe DragonBall Z figures. Shameful, really.

Not a bad place to buy video games or collectibles, it's a pretty big store so they have a decent selection of games to collectibles.

Came by here yesterday; the staff were so helpful and friendly with helping my partner find the tag/price for an untagged Child's Play chucky head ball. I'm not a gamer by any means but would happily come back for my gift purchases just to say hi to the staff.

Wish the head warehouse would let the branches know what the cutoff preorder date is when they run out-of (under order) preordered "exclucive" stock. Saves on the stress of repeatedly contacting the store when you dont' know if your getting the exclusive you ordered and its been out for 1-2 wks.

Rating is based on efficiency of online customer service being able to push forward the issue to the store who in turn was nice enough to track one down, though during pickup they mentioned it still got delayed (lost) in mail before arriving =). Total of 3 wks delayed, but still got here.

Turns out that ToysRus will carry it too now.

I when yesterday (11/28) to buy the new call of duty and I expected the new COD come with socks according to the advertising, but according to the vendor she didn't know that game come with socks because she didn't see any sock on the store yesterday, I requested if the can check on the system and them she said is sold out without checking. I don't know if the store wants to resale socks or EB Game make fake advertising to bring more buyers. Please be careful with this store because of the advertising and the knowledge of the vendors.

Well store is a bit tiny. But its fine to find a game, console or novelty item you're looking for.

Terrible experience！Bought an NDS yesterday i just changed my mind want for refund today. But they told me no refund or exchange even i didn't open it.

I love this store. The staff is very friendly and I can find all the games I need for the best price.

The games here which are PLAYD are in good condition and even have a great price. I have bought more than 7 games in total from them!

Not the best EB location, staff don’t acknowledge you and if you are lucky to find what you are looking for since the staff don’t help they talk amongst themselves instead of to you while you are being cashed out. Skip this location and go to a non mall EB where workers are down to earth.

Pretty fun EB Games. They have all the newest games there as well as old ones available for cheaper prices. The store can sometimes get crowded when it is boxing day there will be a huge line outside. The store sells a lot of POP figures and other toys, I guess they seem to have a stronger appeal towards kids. There are not a lot of employees in the store so it can take some time

Similar to most other EB Games locations, I wish there were a bigger selection on Nintendo games. The employees were helpful and knowledgeable.

If you are a Gamer, you need to visit this shop. A lot of options of PS4 games, new as well as used. You can get a good used game in almost half to quarter price.

These guys also have a lot of toy items for kids and other console games.

EB sucks. The experience is terrible. Do not go here if you have a choice. Find your local independent video game store. There are lots of independents and they have knowledgeable staff that actually care. EB is the worst choice for video games. I do not see the benefit of their loyalty program. I don't see why I have to pre-order games. They don't have any good sales. 2 stars for not completely screwing up my experience last time I was forced to go there. Support your local independent video game store.

Generally most the EB games staff are so rude and they have zero level on customer service quality or skills. However the store in square one it's #1 on how much they're bad.even I started to think that the big owner policy is to give the worse customer service for everyone
