I was referred to ecotech windows & doors by a friend and we had such a positive experience with the installation of our windows and patio door. Customer service was very informative and the install crew was fantastic got everything done in a day and cleaned up as best they could. Thank you team ecotech.

A BIG NO (!) business to work with. 3 years down the road and we have the same issues - water leaking in, flooding on the main floor that extends to basement, damages etc. EcoTech DO NOT CARE, do not react to our service requests. If this type of "service" suits you - go ahead. It certainly doesn't suit us. Read below the original posting. Sadly but true.
Review from early 2022:
I wanted to post this review for over a year and am sorry now that I haven't done that earlier.
We ordered 20+ custom windows + 2 patio doors from EcoTech back in late fall 2019. They weren't the cheapest among the good ones but they were the only ones who made us believe the installation would be completed before the 2019 year-end as it was our primary need. They didn't keep their promise and that was a crucial turnover point for us back then without even knowing how much it will affect us later once the pandemic hit.  Domino effect. Then there was a mess with the sliding patio doors (they tried to blame us for) - doors frames were made white inside and outside while we had all ordered being black from the outside. That put us on additional hold for these big doors to be installed. Plus some windows were installed in the wrong spot and some were done wrong - that was almost seamless and "fixed" with minimum sweat. Once the patio doors were installed the issues started. First, doors were not aligned properly therefore we couldn't lock them. The way there were installed let the water in and there were leaks from under the doors into the basement, damaging the walls and the insulations and later - the flooring and our belongings. While the alignment was kind of fixed (we can lock the doors but it is still not 100% perfect), the leaks are continuing and no solution provided so far. Lately, we came across another issue related to these doors - seems to be an endless story.  I have to mention here that EcoTech is proudly advertising their insolation level and the efficiency of their windows and doors.  We were experiencing unusual cold around the sliding doors for the entire winter not quite understanding what would cause it till we noticed that the wind is coming through from above the doors - from the sections above the fixed parts. Depending on the weather it can be very strong. That explains the unusual and sometimes extreme cold in winter and the heat waves we had during summer which is very inconvenient, costly, absolutely not efficient and incredibly frustrating. We paid the full price for the product and are still paying in terms of heating/cooling the house as a result of the service/product we received. Obvious logic implied - new high-end windows/sliding doors should have full insolation and seals between the sections when closed preventing airflow into the house.
A very detailed email was sent to the Service Manager. The previous service manager was very not professional and not respectful in terms of communicating and organizing. I made a follow-up call at noon - the rep who answered my call took my message, found who I was, updated my contact and clearly confirmed that she understands that I am asking to be called back ASAP. When I called again @ 3: 10 PM, I was told that the Service Manager already left for the day and, apparently, there was a service scheduled for us for April 20th (a month from now!) I asked to escalate the call - hoped there would be someone who is still working at 3 PM and cares for the Business. Asked to talk to the manager/owner (Mark). Nothing! All I heard back was: sorry, no one is here, everyone left.
We didn't ask much but a respectful dealing with the deficiencies and defects of services and products we paid the full price we were asked for. We are still dealing with issues that we shouldn't be having in the first place and not sure when it will be over.
Very not happy and not satisfied with EcoTech.  Long story, sorry, but it is a real one. I can go on and on giving examples of how EcoTech is dealing with their promises, orders, service, just to show you what to expect if you are about to order from them.

Ecotech installed my door and windows and everything turned out great. The staff is very professional and cleaned up after installations. I’m thinking about getting a new patio door in the spring I’ll definitely get it from ecotech. Great experience team ecotech.

Patio door update: Some minor deficiencies rectified and patio door delivered Nov 22. Patio door sliding in direction as in order but not as required. My fault for not reviewing the order for mistakes but I was able to use the door elsewhere. Major deficiencies remaining due to poor installation, poor product (PVC), and poor manufacture (air leaking through a 3/8 inch inch gap in window frame. Promised that original installers will re-attend to rectify major deficiencies. Accounting department called immediately demanding payment of balance of $1,500 on $30,000-order held back for patio door. Not prepared to wait for major deficiencies to be rectified. Accounting Update: I posted a 2-star rating on November 7. It showed as a 5-star rating when I checked on November 9, and I edited the rating back to 2-star. Update: I posted my comments on an Ecotech Facebook ad. I no longer receive their ads on Facebook. Order placed in May 2022. Installation in late Oct 28. Sliding patio door not installed and no installation date given as at Nov 7. Two windows not the same size as ordered. One not the same style as ordered. Used PVC jamb extensions and trim. Jamb extensions warped after 1 day. No choice given on style of trim and they did not match the baseboards and doors. Paying a contractor to remove all PVC jamb extensions and trim and replace with wood. PVC jamb extensions and trim not installed on two windows because jamb extensions were oversized. Paying a contractor for this. Original sales rep left company and no replacement followed-up. No sales support afterward.

Very pleasant experience I had with ecotech with the installations of my door & windows. The guys were friendly and did a beautiful job all one day. Thank you team ecotech.

I as of late introduced the Windows and the primary entry entryway of Ecotech Windows and Doors. My salesman, Andrew, was fabulous and helped me through the cycle. At the point when he came to get a statement, he had tests of the items to perceive how it was prior to marking the agreement.

We are genuinely dazzled indeed with the nature of the Windows and establishment. Nothing was missed, from the tight miters within trim to the nature of workmanship of establishment and all wreck was tidied up. Certainly calling them again to complete the remainder of the house.

Pleasure to work with EcoTech Windows & Doors. My house has windows with different sizes and shapes and the EcoTech team made sure each window was placed properly. I have no complaints with these guys.

The installers were courteous, diligent, and meticulous in their job. They never tried to sell too much. Our home office door was fitted by them. It comes with a strong recommendation!

Got change all windows in our house. Sales representative was professional but has provided false information or i can say committeda FRAUD. We were told by sales representative that window we choose is of highest rating and will qualify for $250 per window from government grant. So we got all windows changed. Also did pre and post inspection as per grant requirements. Turns out out of 10 windows only 1 was of highest rating ($250 qualified), 7 were lowest rating ($125 qualified), and 2 doesn't even qualify for grant. We were charged for highest rating windows.
This is clear case of fraud sales tactics. Decided to take further action on this issue.

Windows were accessible inside guaranteed time period. They came to our home for the measurements. They came out again to verify the measurements, this was a good sign. After 2 weeks they arrived home and installed all the windows. They were very hardworking.

We searched for Windows for a really long time and went with eco tech windows and was exceptionally content with the windows and the installers worked effectively introducing. Furthermore ensured trash was totally tidied up before they left. I whould suggest the organization. Extraordinary cost too.

We are very happy with our new windows and doors. The installation technician Alan worked dilligently through poor weather conditions to complete the job in a professional manner. We would be happy to use Ecotech again in the future.

Overall great experience with this company. From phone call to installation all went good. They installed my room window and they were out in 30 minutes. Very quick service. It comes highly recommended!

Their customer service is horrible… we had windows installed almost a year ago and we’re still waiting for them to come and fix the capping around the front windows and waiting for a screen for our bedroom window… which they put in their report an animal ate. I think they wrote the book of excuses ….

Very good company with great pricing and very responsive to request! Steve is a great sales person, and on top of his game all the time. I've used them for both my personal house, and community clubhouse!

They arrived on time, Very efficient work, dealt a lot with Vitali and he was not only very nice but was very informative. He took the time to explain and go through their work both during and after it was done. The team arrived and got the whole house done (including a quick clean) within a few hours. At this time I have to say I am happy with the quality of the windows and their work. Overall a good experience

After purchasing a door in October 2020 we got it installed in February 2021. We liked the style of door suggested and thought they did a good job. However after a few months we noticed a gap between the door and frame generating more draft than our old door. We advised them as soon as we noticed, and had to follow up with them a few times to get it resolved. However, yesterday two friendly installers came to correct the issue and we no longer see or feel a draft.

The process was very smooth and painless. The installation was very clean and professional. They arrived when they said they would and they cleaned up everything when they were done. The entire staff was very helpful.

Amazing and great quality. The best customer service. Trust me customer service is something so hard to find now a days. Left me with such a great impression that I wish I had more projects for them to do. I recommend 100%.

I would give zero star if available, I am so frustrated that I have to write this reviews today, they are replacing my windows just right now and I can tell I am so regretted I decided to go with this cheap window company, first, one window came with incorrect measurements, second they got wrong colour for the outer aluminum seal we had to call the office1000 times til they answered, the project manager who came and made the deal did not recommend to us what’s best for our windows instead he was speaking alot comparing cars as he thought he is explaining the difference between whats good snd bad, , we ended up having windows with smaller clear glass area that is the worst part of the story, I hate my house now, third the garden slide door didn’t come and now they have to come another day which I don’t know when to install it. For all people who is looking to replace windows stay away and put your money in the right pocket this company doesn’t worth it. I am thinking to sell my house for this bad experience unfortunately.

Terrible service. Took a VERY long time for the windows. No emails, no phone calls completely unresponsive. Tried to reach out company and only got automated responses.

Don’t bother with this one.

Contract was signed in July for front door and garage door installation. Estimated timelines for installation were not met. Door lock was improperly installed / screen door was supposed to be done at the same time was not installed until over a month later. Doorbell was broken during installation of the new door - had to replace doorbell. People showed up to measure for the screen door without notifying us first. It is now December 20 - garage door is still not installed and there has been no information from Ecotech on if or when a door might arrive. Very disappointed and will never use them again.

I ordered to have a new door and storm door installed, they took the measurements and said they can install the doors. After 6 weeks, they only came with the main door and installed it but, we had to wait another month for the storm door. Even though they said that they will take half the payment when they start the installation, and the rest after the job is done, they took 30% more of the payment out of my account without asking me and the job wasn't even finished. When they finally came to install the storm door, they said that it will not open fully because of a protruding hydro meter. We did not think this would be a problem because our old storm door opened completely. So they should have told us this would happen when taking the measurements. We chose a simple main door because we thought we would have a storm door as well but now they say they can't install it. I asked to replace my main door with one that is better and only pay the price difference but they refused to corporate and were rude to us. They also again took the rest of the remaining payment from my account without notifying me. They do not seem to care about my problem and do not acknowledge that they made any mistake. Overall, I am frustrated with their salesman and customer service so I do not recommend this company to anyone.

They measured our windows, gave us an estimate, and answered all of our questions in a forthright manner and were very understanding. We're very impressed with the customer service provided by this company!

Everyone I interacted with during this process was fantastic. My new windows are beautiful. The installers were Branko, Alex, and Igor. These guys showed up on time and continuously worked until the job was completed to my utmost satisfaction. They cleaned up after themselves and behaved in a professional manner at all times. I'm a happy and satisfied customer.
