We have been ordering from ECS for a number of years, as they do have the best selection of kcups and usually at a reasonable price compared to other retailers, especially when they are on sale. Until our most recent order, everything has gone well. We placed an order on December 29th, and sent messages asking for an update on January 4th, and again on January 9th. The shipper, Postmedia Parcel Services, provided no updates on their site either, even though we are only one hour from the ECS location in Burlington/Hamilton. The package was finally "delivered" late in the day on January 9th, and was left sitting on the ground in the pouring rain at the end of our laneway, 350 feet from our covered porch. The cardboard outer box was soaked, as well as one of the interior boxes. ECS response was that they will not use this courier for our orders in the future.
Followup to my review, I was contacted by Neil Madden, President of ECS, and he apologized for the unacceptable delivery by Postmedia Parcel Services, and made it right. The review gave ECS a one star, when it was really meant for the delivery company.

Ancaster location have fantastic, supportive staff and an awesome selection of Torani syrups. They also have a comprehensive group of coffee flavours and brands. Highly recommended!

Started shopping at ECS over 25 years ago, never disappointed. We moved from the area but still stop in whenever we're close by, it's unique and offers high quality service and products.

Be warned!

I ordered within “free shipping” requirements.

Payment went through.

I was then emailed requesting shipping payment.

This is false advertising and bad business practice.

It is a shame that we cannot give zero stars. It is extremely unfortunate that this business feels that their customers are out to get them and steal from them. See other reviews on how their customer service is horrible.

ECS Coffee Burlington is one of my favourite shops! The smell in the store is heaven - if you love the smell of coffee. Plus the staff are always helpful, friendly and just plain awesome!

I ordered online for ECS Coffee for the first time because they had a big selection of Torani sugar free syrups. The checkout was very easy with ShopPay. Shipping was very fast and prices were fair. All in all a very good experience.

Spent a lot of money on a Jura machine as recommended by the sales rep at ECS. I bought the machine for my business and for clients to be able to enjoy a nice hot beverage during meetings. After about 30 cups multiple error lights came on. After many calls to Jura, purchasing $70 of cleaning tablets, a visit to the store and 2 weeks of the machine being down I requested to ask for a refund. The store refused despite a 2 year warranty. Looks like I’m stuck with it. Anyone interested in a 3 month old Jura machine? I just don’t have the patience to deal with this machine going forward.

I went there to buy the coffee maker philips 5400. They sell it at 1399$ I found on the web few stores where the machine is at 1099$. They refused to adjust the price because the price is too low for them.

Super friendly and super funny people working at ECS Coffee in Burlington! Our kind of people. They actually listen to exactly what you want and direct you accordingly. Very knowledgeable. Had our very first cappuccino this morning with the DeLonghi Dinamica coffee machine. OMG - incredible! We're on our 3rd cup today already - 1.21 jigawatts! Fred & Shawna.

The McCafe Premium is above all the best pods I have tried (and I've tried quite a few). I like a fairly dark blend and I'm definitely sticking with the McCafe, as you can see from my purchases.

The clerk at ECS was very knowledgeable and even took us back to their break room to show us the machine we were interested in, even brewed us a cup. The machine is sturdy and makes damned good coffee. Very happy!

The mugs feel solid in my hands and are a pleasure to drink out of. The whole ordering process was a cinch. Very pleased.

I bought this coffee for my husband. He enjoys the dark roast flavor. He first tried it about six months ago and we have been purchasing it ever since. Wish the box came in larger numbers though.

Took my machine in for repair on the 23rd. Spoke with Michelle. Even though they are extremely busy everyone was very friendly and polite. Great place for service, Wayne is great on the repairs.

I brought my delonghi coffee maker in for repair. The unit was purchased directly at this location in Burlington two years ago. The manager Wendy was clearly annoyed that I brought it in as she was very unhelpful, her tone of voice was really disrespectful. When I picked up my unit the porta filter was not returned. Upon calling she told me that the repair persons desk was a mess and she couldn’t find it. Then she called and told me she wrote on the intake form it was not sent in with the unit which is not truthful as the unit couldn’t have been tested without it. While asking her for the opportunity to speak she hung up the phone on me. We are so disappointed as we paid so much money for this machine. The VP let me know she will contact delonghi to see about a replacement and it will be another 2 weeks. Hopefully sooner. I did let them know that I was so disappointed with their tone of voice and the accusation that I didn’t drop off all pieces of the unit when I am certain I did. If this is how customers are treated I did explain I would share on a review and stand outside of the store to inform other customers of the poor service I received. After waiting since early December for my working coffee maker I don’t think it is unreasonable to ask for the porta filter when it was lost in their store and it can simply be ordered on Amazon if not available in their shop. Customer service should be top notch. In fact when I was there I was looking for a unit to purchase for a family member in the future but I will not be visiting this location again. Can you imagine even in their reply below they ask me to send my address- this shows you how disorganized they are. They likely can’t find my repair log anymore even along with the filter. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service do not purchase from here.

Great prices and delivery in as little as 2-3 days. Huge variety and also sample boxes are a great idea. I almost never buy coffee anywhere else.
