ECS Coffee Brewology - Ancaster

My husband and I took a Saturday road trip to check out an espresso machine that we were thinking of investing in. Rachel and Christine were friendly and attentive, without being too pushy or agressive. Rachel patiently answered all our questions and walked us through a few machines (including samples.delicious!). Despite the extensive selection, the model we were interested in was not on display but Christine told us it was available at their Burlington location. Exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. Could not be more impressed by the customer service and selection (Spolier. We purchased a machine at the Burlington location!)

Rachel at ECS was super helpful and welcoming, I’ve been here a few times now to buy coffee supplies and will definitely be back.

Love this place. Always come here to grab k-cups, have the occasional sample and even get advice from the staff about coffee machines etc.

I've been going here since it opened as a k cup store but over the years ECS has evolved to include competitively priced coffee and espresso machines as well as a nice selection of coffee from various origins. The staff has always be super friendly at this location and I would always recommend a visit if you are in the neighborhood. Sounds like a paid review but I just like the place lol

Professional coffee store with all coffee related products, machines, accessories, beans, flavour additives and roast stove.

My husband and I visit the Ancaster location and we were serviced by Rebecca she was so knowledgeable and spent the time to show us several machines, she explained all the features very well. We end up buying a Jura S 8 automatic coffee machine.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They took the time to explain the operation of several machines with no pressure on us to purchase one over another. We narrowed the options to two machines and we sampled espresso and cappuccino from both and made out final decision. We also bought a grinder for a semi automatic machine we already have. Great variety of grinders also. It was a very enjoyable shopping experience. I highly recommend this store and will return when in the area to purchase coffee beans.

Went here as a last resort to pick up espresso beans. Out of all the semi local roasters they were the only place open past 5pm. Being open until 7pm meant there was no need for me to rush. When I arrived I found quite an extensive selection of espresso beans. Today I went to one of the local roaster that was originally higher on my list only to be let down relative to the beans available at ecs coffee. They had a wide selection of the top brands suggested by internet bloggers, and less than 1 month old packaged beans from local roaster like detour. The staff was friends and informative and even pulled out a helpful notes binder to explain the different espresso beans I was interested in. I might have been fortunate by visiting a down time when I had the staffs full attention. I definitely felt like I was in a good place for what I was looking for. The store is much more than a place for just beans but is worth stopping by to look at everything coffee. It is definitely worth checking out at the very least.

This is the only place that I know of in Ontario that carries the Cubita espresso beans. Call before you go because they don’t always have it. I drive from Toronto to get them. Wonderful staff, service and selection of everything coffee!

I absolutely love it! It's always such a positive experience. Now that I live nearby, it will be the only place I purchase my K-Cups from going forward. It's a very unique store, the prices and selection are GREAT, and the staff are always very helpful and friendly. One of the very few remaining retail stores that still actually values it's customers and treats them accordingly. HIGHLY recommend!
