Its my second time coming here. Worst experienced so far. The service was very poor. The waiter misbehaved. Thinking as a oversmart. Not friendly minded person. The rice are bit burn. Manchurian is salty. And in chicken wings, there are wings with the fry. Lol.i asked for the food and it came like 35 min late. Everyone is so busy that they dnt bother if the next person might asking or wanting something. They did not even refill the water. Had to ask then they did it. Worst experience! I dnt know whether it could ever change. Hope they change!

Thanks from the owner for the feedback. I was there as a customer and i know what service i receive, i know how long i have waited. I know after receiving the food and can even have it to fill my stomach. I did not exaggerate the other issue that's why I did not say much.and with the most polite way i said about the wings, because it seems important to say it so that if some other customer receives it they might not like it.and i know it's wings not ginger that's for sure. Now you might say the other way around. I know what service i received and i can tell it. My partner and I did not even finish the food and we took it because we paid an amount for that food and we didn't like to waste it.

Anyways. I am not saying you did it purposely. I recommend improvement that's it. I felt the service was not up to my level of expectation as i came here by seeing the reviews. Thanks

Probably the worst Hakka food in GTA. No flavor.bland food.nothing to be excited about. On top of that they pre-tipped before bring the bill.

Very bad service by server when asked about the full menu not available online, the server said it is what is is. Advised wrong sauce and was not ready to replace. Owner really rude and bad customer service.

Eddie’s use to be amazing. However no very poor service got wrong dish and when complained the owner was so I rude.before the dad and mom as owners were great in service. This is is the worst. Will never go again

I wish they had combo plates. The crispy beef was excellent but a plate of meat and rice isn't really a well rounded meal.

We ordered the crispy beef, lemon fish, tiger prawns, and hakka noodles! The waiters were nice, however, when we raised the complaint of the fish having a smell we were told that they would exchange it for something else which was great. We were told that the kitchen is closing and we need to pick fast, and before that the owner came over to not only tell us that we are wrong but also that he tried it and it was fine we didn't say anything and proceeded to order the chilli paneer in replacement. Come bill time we paid and just wanted to mention to our server that this is not a way to treat customers especially when we were paying the price of the fish but got paneer. The server apologized for the behavior of the owner and said that we can talk to him if we would like we agreed thinking its just a discussion not a point of contention. So, we waited a couple of minutes for them to decided whether or not it was worth it. We decided that the wait was not worth it so we were about to leave, the owner decides to show up with a condescending and pretentious attitude. We tell him the situation and state that its just about principle of letting your customers know that despite the exchange you will still be paying for the original dish regardless as they don't price adjust. He started giving us attitude and saying that it's our tastes and not the fish as he tasted it and we basically said that we should not have to defend ourselves if the meat tasted off to us? Long story short he was rude and standoffish even though there was another complain about the food right after our complaint. We stated that it was never about the extra $2 but moreso how you treat people and overall customer service and he was not having any of it. Was very disappointed especially coming back after years as we were regulars for like 15 years prior, we wouldn't have brought it up but the response of the owner was not it. Rather than apologizing or understanding the meaning he was like you guys should visited other restaurants they never take of the dish.

If im paying for food atleast serve me something decent. I got General Tao lunch special. The chicken is disgustingly sweet and the sweet corn soup isnt sweet at all. Quality used to be much better and would come here regularly.

I was given food with hair inside of it. When I brought it back to the store they refuse to give me my money back. I’m giving them 1 star because there is no option to give 0 star.

Amazing Indo pak Chinese food.must try shrimp and chicken fried Rice. Good starters and soups. Main meal of Rice and noodles

But worst customer service,
They are not following the hotels rules at all.
Charges high gratuity, and do not take out the gratuity charge though customers are denying it.
Management is too rude with customers.

This used to be my go-to place. However, after my last visit, I no longer can say the same. Food quality has taken hit in terms of quality and, more importantly, a practice force tip was the last thing I wanted. We were just groups of 2 adults, and I really didn't feel tips were justified, especially with food quality I got and price per item.

Reasonably priced good food. I did takeout. Order was ready on time. Very well cooked and packed. Will definitely recommend

I bought Manchuria.house Special Fried Rice…on the website it’ll the price is $12.25…but when to pay it was 14: 25$ …. With tax it came to $16.10…. Honestly the shrimp were cold…not upto the taste

We love this place for Hakka food. Our go to suggestion.people visiting from outside the GTA always live the food from here. Great service and delicious food.

MUST PAY 15% TIP!

Tipping should be up to the customer, I always give tip when I dine in but it is based on the kind of service I get.

But, here they are automatically including 15% tip in the bill. Not acceptable at all and won't return unless they remove the mandatory tip.

The food over here continues to be excellent year after year. The staff is friendly and warm. The portion of the food is very good, and enough for a family of 4. We ordered 2 soups, 2 starters and 2 main dishes, and yet took back a lot home. They also serve white rice on the side with each main dish. The crispy beef and the hot and sour soup and out of this world. The chicken wontons are loved by kids. The quantity of rice is good enough to serve 4 and more. Must try this place with family.

The food here is hit or miss. The rice they served seemed old and heated up. The chicken was also overcooked and the fish was decent.

Have been here many times in the past for a sit down and done some takeout aswell. This time the food was not as good as in the past. The service was horrible. It took them about 20min to come to our table to take the order. One time they came over to refill the water and that was over 45min later. At the end I got very upset as the servers were just hanging around in the back. The restaurant was not that busy and they did have enough servers. Then I get the bill and they already charged 15%tip as we had 6 people. That's ridiculous to charge without any service. I guess the servers getting their tip so why give them any service I guess. This used to be a good place, NOT ANY MORE. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN. Lots of Hakka restaurants around.

Automatically adding 15% gratuity and if denied they are not even considering.
Getting away with it.
There is a law that if we dispute and deneyy to pay gratuity they are saying that it is service charge.
Didn't heard this concept called service charge when you go to restaurants

Food quality has nose dived drastically. Chicken was hard and stale, same for the fish dish. Chicken fried rice with hard peas and seemed to be from previous day. One star is only for the lemon garlic fish was good. Will not revisit unfortunately.

I have been a very regular customer with Eddies Wok and my experience most of the the times have been good if not excellent. However for the last couple of orders, I have noted that the quality is dropping.the vegetables being used are not fresh, meat was also not tender was mostly stale not freshly purchased.the taste of the meet clearly indicated that it has been old. I pointed out to the restaurant by calling them and requested them to address these issues. I ordered chicken manchurian and chilli chicken in my last order.
I had another dinner last night: very disappointing as the salt content in every dish was excessive

Been visiting this place for over 20 years. The food is good as always. The crispy beef is probably one of my favorite dishes. Place is always extremely crowded and barely any room to move around comfortably. Not sure why they dont open more locations or expand, because they do quite well for themselves. Perhaps taking appointments rather than walking-in and waiting for a table would help control foot traffic. Bumping into the waiters/servers is boind to happen, as there's barely any place to walk. The waiters could definitely be a bit more friendly and show better customer service. Overall the food is good, but service and experience/ambiance are slacking.

I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Staff does not care about their service. Food quality has gone downhill. Dirty plates and utensils. Cups smelled atrocious and overall bad experience. No manager came by to smooth anything over. Have been going here for over 15 yrs but will not step foot again and will advise everyone I know to not either. Son found hair in the dish before anyone started eating while my daughter discovered a snail shell in hers! So appalled that we stopped eating on the spot. Disgusts me to think about how they run their kitchen and how they pass safety and health inspections.

The food here is so good but it was quite busy when we went. Im not sure if the dining room is always packed but call ahead to make sure:) you will probably have to give your name and wait for a table but the food is worth it in my opinion
