Edo Japan - Harwood Plaza - Grill and Sushi

Ordered a few times, food's been really good. Usually use the app to preorder, orders are ready quickly, pick up is smooth.

Ordered chicken and shrimp for pick up. After getting home, I found there is no shrimp. Called the store over 10 times no answer!

Great food and excellent customer service. Foods are cheaper. I will recommend everyone to visit at least once.

Second time at this location and went back because the first time it was good.

Ordered 4 meals tonight and ramen was 1 plus 3 chop chop bowls.

I was told they do not have spoons, but were very told they are sorry and that they had forks. And once I opened the meals we realized the toppings were not complete on the meals. We were not told when we picked up the food, I only found out by calling and asking.

Hope this was a 1 off experience as they are 1 for 2 right now and this time was disappointing.

Food was good tasting however the size of chicken pieces in the Bento box were small and not noticeable

My family and I tried several dishes and were all pretty good. Can’t go wrong with the chicken teriyaki and rice and noodle dishes. Only thing we found the food to be a bit on the salty side, I would request less sauce next time. The carrots were also a bit raw in one of the dishes.

That’s a surprise that there’s a good Japanese food in Ajax! Such a yummy food for a comparatively low price. They also have special offers for every day of the week.

Food was not good at all, extremely disappointing. Not properly cooked, service could’ve been better. Definitely not going back to this establishment.

Been here twice now. Came in today (Tuesday) to try out the special which was the teriyaki chicken or beef with springs and drinks. We got one chicken and beef and we got a 14 Kami sushi platter. I like the teriyaki beef better than the chicken, my brother did as well. Sushi was fresh and delicious. I also have to mention that their pop fountain was not watered down like taco bells or other restaurants are nowadays. Took a sip of my root beer and there definitely was taste like drinking from a can directly. Will definitely be coming back here and getting their teriyaki beef.

The first time we came here, we got the Thursday special which was sushi special and got boba drinks. Didn't like the boba drinks at all. Didn't taste good at all compared to other bubble tea places that specializes in bubble tea strictly. So we'll pass on that. Sushi was definitely priced right at 9.99 for 16 pieces. Maybe the rice was day old not sure but when I came in today on a Tuesday and just ordered sushi off the menu definitely had more freshness to it.

Definitely recommend this place. The staff is so friendly the minute you walk, they greet you. Love that. Wil be coming back again for sure. Keep up the good work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy, well maintained. The food was delicious and hot. They have plenty of selection for everyone. Lots of parking available. See pictures!

Excellent dependable food and service. Weekly deals offer good value as well. Teriyaki and Sushi Days are our favourites.

Crazy busy and loud, but that is because a lot of people are as addicted to the food as I am. My son goes to rock climbing nearby every week and every week I need to feed my craving. Had the new orange chicken this week, not impressed. But that is unusual. Going to try the noodles for the first time next week.

I ordered this for delivery off of Uber eats and it's delicious the best sushi I have ever had though I don't eat sushi often

The food is good. Fresh to order and always delicious (teriyaki beef & or chicken). Daily meal deals offer great value. Never order the sushi, but the bowls are delicious.it does seem the portion has reduced from when first opened, unfortunately. All in all I enjoy the food and will be back.

Usually very good but my last takeaway had a strange slimy green what I think was a vegetable! Had to scoop it out because the texture was awful. I’m sure it was a one off though!

We have been going to Edo in Ajax almost every week since in opened. The staff are great and the food is delicious. However, the 2 stars under "food" is because we've noticed the portions have reduced considerably! My husband and I could buy one teriyaki meal and it was good for the two of us! The portions have reduced by at least a third but the prices remain the same. The food at this Edo is awesome and we love it and the staff and atmosphere are great! Please bring back the portion sizes.

I love that they have an online order avail for a quick easy pick up too but if there is no rush, it's not usually more than a 5-10 min wait.

I can still remember eating at Edo Japan for the first time with my Dad at the PTC food court as a kid. Now, my wife, 3-yr old son and I frequent this new location in Ajax for dinner and we simply love it. A go-to for dining-in or take out. Friendly staff and the Teriyaki Chicken/Beef/Shrimp always hits the spot.

Fresh, fairly fast, and always piping hot. My favorite is the Sukiyaki beef, and Edo is my go to place when I'm in the mood for it.

Great tasty fresh food for affordable price. Had beef teriyaki with vegetables, only had to wait 5min for them to cook it. Reasonable price for the portion. Healthier choice then burgers and pizza.

10/10 for the service, the staff here is very welcoming and kind! The place is maintained clean with a nice ambience and the food is delicious, but it’s the service that will keep me coming back. Thank you!
