We arrived late. There were only view flavors available but we were able to choose what we like.
The staff was very friendly.

After hearing rave reviews from friends about Ed's, I finally had the chance to experience it myself, and I must say, it certainly lived up to the hype. I tried their orange creamsicle and espresso ice cream flavors. The next time I visit, I will have their gelato. In terms of pricing, Ed's offers reasonable rates for Toronto standards. I opted for a medium cup, which provided two scoops of ice cream and was more than enough (priced around $6.50 to $7). Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

One of our favourite ice cream shops in the city! We always bring family and friends here when they visit and it never disappoints. The lemon biscotti flavour that I tried this week was amazing.

Delicious ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet. Unfortunately it was raining when I went but nonetheless the staff were so kind and recommended me great flavours to try! I got the mango sorbet as well as the strawberry frozen yogurt - it was delicious! You might have to wait when it’s warm out, but it’s definitely worth it

I now live in Romania, but when I lived in Toronto, this was one of the BEST ice-cream shops in the world, I have many good memories here. Thank you for a good childhood.

What threw me off the most and why I removed stars is because they removed their indoor seating. Covid restrictions are long gone but they didn't bring back the tables. Where am I supposed to eat the ice cream? By the time I got to the nearby park the ice cream was dripping. The roasted marshmallow flavor isn't that exceptionally good to go through all that trouble eating it in the middle of a sidewalk

It’s been several years since I’ve been to Ed’s. The ice cream is still as good as I remember it. Definitely a top ice cream shop in Toronto. The burnt marshmallow ice cream is a must try. The espresso was incredible as well. I dare you to walk by Ed’s and not stop in for a scoop.

Tried 4 different flavours and they all tasted the same. It's like they made the ice cream base and forgot to add flavours to it.

OMG! So Amazing! Had the Lemon Sorbet. Did not disappoint. This place is definitely a local spot that everyone hits up. Went pretty late in the evening, was surprised that there were still line-ups. Glad I stumbled upon this location (being from out of town)

Creamy dreamy sorbets if you're vegan? Loved the lemon and also the raspberry lime flavours!

Been here a few times and they have a very good selection of flavors and prices are in line with other fancy creamery places. Good thing it's not closer to home or work because I would be bad for my health to eat here regularly O_O

Good decent ice cream in Leslieville! Good place to go to on a hot summer evening. Gets packed but line moves quickly!

Worst ice cream place i have been to. Right when i got the cone it started leaking from all sides and at the bottom through the napkin despite only being one scoop, leaked over my clothes etc
. And this place no longer has any indoor or outside seats so forget hoping to enjoy an ice cream because there's no where to go after. The marshmallow flavour is over rated and tasted like plain caramel vanilla.

Special treat for my kids (and for us). Still amazing flavours. I do miss the green apple flavour but the cassis and passion fruit make up for it.

Had their Burnt Mashmallow plus Coffee Crunch and OH HELLO DELICIOUSNESS. I couldn’t wait to eat, so here is my photo!

The Tanzanian dark chocolate is probably the best chocolate icecream I've had.

Bought a pint of rum and raisin from the Leslieville location. I ate only 4 spoons and immediately became very sick. I'm so disappointed, and I wasted $10. I've eaten cheaper brands and have never felt this way.

It was alright, the pistachio gelato was ok didn’t leave me dreaming about it but would try a different flavour in the future as they have fast service.good people running it here.

Went on a Friday evening, line was about 8-10 folks. Had the burnt marshmallow and Mercury espresso ~ very delicious and reasonably priced for the proportion. Sat across the street and watched the line grow to 20-25 people easily for a consistent period.

Lots of flavors to choose from but it’s an ice cream you later forget. It doesn’t really stick to you. I find it a bit artificial on flavor.
I prefer Ice Creamonology Queen West if you are up for a bike ride first and than indulge later.

Burnt Marshmallow's, S'mores! Several great ice cream places in Toronto, I'd say Ed's is one scoop above the rest!

Ed’s Giant Tortoises made with milk chocolate, caramel and pecans are to die for. If you like chocolate turtles you will love this yummy chocolate treat.

The only place to get decent ice cream that is within the city limits! Check them out. They also offer a pints card. Buy 9 and the 10th is free. If you are anything like me you'll fill up this card in no time!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this iconic ice cream place! The line was surprisingly not long. Got the ice cream very quickly and of course the taste wasn’t disappointing. A must go place if you’re at the east end!

This is my favorite ice cream place in toronto i alwaaaays buy pistachio but unfortunately they switched their pistachio to roasted pistachio which changed the colour and the taste and i wish they didnt because now i am sad and donno where i cousl get my pistachio from

Moved into Leslieville a few weeks ago and I'm so happy this place is open! I love love love the ferrorocher icecream! It's to die for. The staff a super friendly and nice. This is a staple in my neighborhood walks

Best ice creams ever! Also somehow I can't get over the burnt mashmellow ice cream that they have! Even tired their mashmellow with chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich and it was perfect cheat day snack!

Delicious! I kind of forgot that one can buy ice cream in pints there to take home (can't imagine having one outdoors in this weather ;) so I got a pint of pumpkin flavour there today.sooooo good! Very filling so this pint will last me for a while.a great treat for those who love pumpkin/pumpkin spice.can't wait for my next visit/trying another flavour!:)

The best gelato shop in Toronto. Know someone who treks 5 miles every weekend just for a scoop! Ginormous serving size with a cone. Take home option available. Very friendly service too!

An absolute Toronto establishment for so many good reasons. They have more options than you could ever need, regardless of what you like, be it the really pure tasting fruit and coconut ice creams or the richer options like baccio gelato (personal favourite). Ed’s might honestly be the only thing keeping me in this city.

This is a quaint ice cream shop on Queen Street with a nice variety of gelato as well. Delicious! There is some seating inside and a bench out front.

Once you walk in you are greeted by that fresh ice cream smell. That's when you know yo'u're in the right spot. The ice cream is fresh and delicious. Good selection as they had a Guinness Stout flavour!

Ed's is in house made ice cream, this is an awesome family spot for you and the kids, or even a date. The ice cream is fairly priced and high quality which bursts with flavors. They often have unique flavors of their own, like burnt marshmellow, which will make you wonder how you lived without it, in the first place

Burnt marshmallow is one of the greatest flavours in existence. Also the PB&J. Everyone who works here is so lovely and friendly.

Omg, what a gem of a find! I stumbled into this place by accident and discovered their unique chocolate chip black cherry ice cream! I've also tried their chocolate mint and rum raisin. I dream when I can returnb again. I hope they never retire their chocolate chip black cherry! Bonus, star sighting: Kristin Kreuk was casually lining up behind me during one of the visits.

Ed’s deserves a solid 5/5 for how unreal the ice cream tastes. To be honest, there’s very few ice cream places that can get me craving a cone every single day like Ed’s can. In the summer I’m there every single day haha. Rock of ages is my favourite flavour, but the waffle cone is to die for. Give it a try if you’re in the area and you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious and decadent. And it doesn't hurt that the broken waffle cones are out for us to snack on in line! Great anytime of year (as they also sell hot chocolate and chocolates!)

Great service! The lady who served us was patient with us trying flavours and seemed very calm. It was nice that we were able to choose 2 flavours for our cups, even the kids!

Lot’s of flavours to choose from which makes it hard to decide. But the staff is friendly and they let you try different flavours before you decide. Very busy in the summer with long line ups up until closing.

My two favorite flavors are burnt Marshmallow and Mercury Espresso. Absolutely delicious!

Hands down one of the best ice cream places in the city! I love how it’s family owned and it shows. Flavours taste so real and authentic. No artificial in any way. Also their waffles cones are freshly done in store.

Sweetest icecream shop. And SUPER amazing helpful staff.who stored some breastmik for me in their fridge because the place next door I was at was an absolute furnace and I panicked. This place has easily the best ice cream that I've ever had. Yes, the place may be a little small, but the apple pie ice cream is to die for.

If you're looking for your average flavours of chocolate or vanilla, you're coming to the wrong place. This small ice cream joint has some of the most unique flavours I've ever seen, and you've got a choice between ice cream or gelato! I've always received excellent and friendly service here, as well. A must-go for anyone with a sweet tooth who would like to support local businesses!

Holy smokes. "How different could it be? " Well, a lot. Broadly, the flavors in Ed's ice cream are more subtle, nuanced, and authentic than in store bought ice cream. Generally it's less sweet too. Which might not*seem* ideal, but this combination actually means that the stuff is highly addictive!

Top notch ice cream. I have no idea if it's the best in the city, but I've never had better. Also the smell of waffle cones coming out the door makes that little stretch very nice to walk through.

Absolutely amazing ice cream, gelatos and sorbets! I went today and the wife of the owner gave me the best ice cream shop experience of my life. She made sure I tried all of their top flavors as an introduction to their shop and was absolutely lovely to chat with. Would recommend to any lover of frozen treats!

Amazing selection of unique flavors. And friendly staff. They offer a mix of icecreams, gelato and sorbet. Limited dairy-free options. Great scoop sizes. Prices are reasonable for getting a quality product like this. If you're in the area, you have to try Eds.
