Was here in November and still dealing with the very bad and careless haircut.there was a mix up with who I was seeing because I came a day early, and someone with my same name had an appointment latter that evening so it was assumed it was me.

I had a horrible haircut it left me in tears at the studio. I noted I was wanting to grow my hair, wanting to get it all one length to start the growing out process (so just needed a trim) and very minimally maybe do long layer in front (no more then from chin was thinking), just to make it a bit softer. The hairdresser without care did a layer from my cheekbone that went 6 inches in Beyond my ear. And I have been dealing with an awkward hair cut since November. And will likely have this awkward growing out phase until August.

I have to say the customer service is very good tho, they compensated my next service with the hairdresser who I was suppose to have. She was great, friendly, and would recommend her (Danielle) However she could not do much with my hair to blend it because it was so deep in.

This salon is absolutely amazing. They’re location is great and has a lot of parking near by. The layout of the salon is very modern, clean, and allows a lot of natural light (which is very important). All of the staff are super friendly and ensure each client has a wonder experience from beginning to end. Fab is such a skilled stylist that I trust her with my eyes closed. I have been seeing her since 2019 and I will continue to go to her. Going to the hair salon always used to give me anxiety but when I’m in Fab’s hands, I know that I can enjoy my experience and I’m going to leave in love with my cut, colour, and style. 10/10 would recommend her!

Had a fantastic experience. I was a first time client today and I'm so happy I was. I there are a number of salons in the area and this is the best one. From the greeting to the end I felt like family. They are so welcoming and such experts. As someone that doesn't go as often as I should because highlights take so long, Nikola was such a professional and had me out in no time. Daniella was amazing with my cut and I will be coming back as a long time customer. Salons can be intimidating to most, This one was amazing. So happy I found it. Would recommend over and over.

The absolute worst!
I booked an appointment for a balayage and when i showed a reference picture to the stylist (girl with straight blonde hair) she told me ” i cannot do this for you with the time that we have today! ” She had only booked me in for one hour and a half!
Although there was a storm outside i got an uber there and did not cancel my appointment as i did not want to waste their time just to have her tell me she couldn’t help me because “ i was only booked in for one and a half hour” and she couldn’t do what i wanted because she didn’t have enough time for me! Im not sure what the point of booking an appointment in advance is!
Ive been to many salons and this has never happened to me before! Any stylist would know that balayage takes longer than that! Or they would at least ask for a picture of your hair so that they can book you in for an appropriate amount of time! They literally have no respect for your time at all. Very disappointed! Please do yourself a favour and avoid this place.

Educó salon is a very clean, modern and professional space. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Fabrizia is amazing, she understands my vision and helps bring my hair goals to life. All my services with Fab have never disappointed. She is thorough with her work and very informative and sweet. Highly recommend.

This one goes out to Dee. I have never been happier with the precision or quality of a hair colour service, and believe me when I say that I've shopped around the city. Dee takes the time to listen and follow through on a gameplan (and make you laugh in the process), but is also a true hair scientist and creative who combines hair chemistry with an artful eye. I continue to receive compliments on my colour, 4 months after my last service. If you're sick of searching call Dee - I promise you won't regret it.

Really strongly dislike how my hair turned out. Cut is nice but colour is patchy and nothing like what I wanted. I was told to come back for toner if I wasn’t happy with the colour in a few days but I’m honestly afraid to come back. Extremely rough treatment of my fragile hair, like just tearing through my wet, bleached and back-combed hair. Ripped out half my hair. Thinned it out completely. Makes no sense. Goes against everything they tell you about taking care of your hair. For 450 bucks I expect care and gentleness. At the very least. Safe to say I won’t ever be coming back.

Alex is literally the best hairstylist I've ever been to. She just gets it. Love my hair, love my colour, I'll never go to anyone else!

I'm have been coming to educo and specifically seeing Priya for nearly 20 years, and I cannot trust anyone else with my hair. Priya just knows what your hair needs and she does a fabulous job every time.she has a natural talent for truly making you feel like a weight (access hair lol) has been lifted off your shoulders. I had an appointment first with Daniella who understood the importance of me having my hair long still while also being able to cut off the damage, perfect cut and Nic dyed my hair for the second time and it turned out perfectly, exactly what i asked for after being honest with what was capable with my hair type and tones, i ended up coming too early in for a touch up and she was open about what was best for me. By far my best experience yet in terms of hair salons:)

If you have curly hair, you need to go see Priya! I’d had a hack job at a different salon from someone who claimed to know how to cut curly hair, and Priya fixed me right up. She was very nice and knowledgeable and took the time to really listen to what I wanted. My hair looks and feels fantastic now!

I got my hair colour done and it was terrible. Now my hair is a damaged mess. I hadn't had my hair colored in a year and I thought based on such good reviews I would treat myself and now my hair is in such bad condition I feel so sad and gross.

*ATTENTION ALL BLONDES* I can’t speak highly enough of this salon. It is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircutting and bleaching/highlighting/colouring. I’ve been getting compliments daily as a result of Alex’ work! Alex is super friendly, professional, talented and very meticulous. Alex stands endless hours on her feet highlighting my hair to perfection. She turned my broken and damaged orange hair into a bombshell blonde Rapunzel. I’ve never been treated so kindly. Alex is definitely a master of blondes. Alex is very helpful and transparent with the blonde transformation process and always aims for perfection to reach clients goals. Alex is a hard working woman who clearly loves her job and loves client satisfaction. If I moved across the country I would fly back to only see Alex! 10/10!

I got a balayage done by Nicola for the first time and she was amazing! I wasn’t totally sure what I wanted but knew I wanted something natural and that’s exactly what she did (even with my poor instructions and random Pinterest screenshots).

I’m obsessed with the colour she ended up going with—with her great insights, I also had the trust that she’d do an awesome job as we discussed options.

I'm a repeat customer here. The staff is super nice and they have really talented hair stylists and colourists! Nicola did an amazing job with my balayage and I got my hair cut with Danielle! Both were great experiences.

I had a haircut with Priya yesterday. I told her every other salon usually gives me layers and if there was anything else that could be considered. Most other reviews had me believe that she really knows what she is doing. I have fine, thinning hair. She said a lot of stuff about “movement, giving it shape, making it not look flat, looking the same if I continue to get the same haircut all the time” and other words that made it sound like she knew what she was talking about. Eventually she barely user her scissors, and gave me a haircut which makes my hair look worse than before. I cant even tell I got a haircut and the only, only telltale sign is that even before the hairwash she cut off 3 inches of my strands. The hair is flatter than ever. At least whenever I got layers, my hair looked like it had more volume! And mind you this haircut wasn’t cheap. It was worth $140+tips and it pains me to look at myself in the mirror. Absolutely not worth it. From some other reviews, I have noticed that they have attacked some customers who left negative reviews. So not only I had a terrible experience at the salon, expecting to get a similar treatment for leaving this review, and no actual resolution.

I love getting my hair cut by Danielle! She listens to what I want and provides her expertise. I trust her to work her magic! She makes her clients feel very comfortable and is lovely to chat with. I got my hair color from Nikola. I wanted a rich golden brown color, I ended up with a dirty henna brown color which I really dislike. The hair color that we decided upon and the result that she said would come was very different than the actual result. Just a basic service of a full color which she was unable to achieve. I definitely feel my money was wasted but more than that my hair feels damaged because she couldn’t get it right the first time. She had to do my roots twice coz she was too busy running around for her other clients throughout the entire appointment and didn’t pay much attention to what was going on here.

Even the woman who blow dried my hair had such an attitude with her energy towards me and was so unprofessional. The entire service felt like they were doing me a huge favour by taking me in as a client in the first place.

Amazing staff. I am so happy with the service from hair color to blow drying. The woman who wash my hair and blow dry it is fantstic. Definitely I will be back.

Took me years to find a good stylist in Toronto. Priya is the most welcoming and sweet person that KNOWS hair. If you're having trouble with how you want to cut your hair just tell her what's wrong and she'll know the answer. Even when you go in with a specific vision she knows how cut with precision while being able to make it suit your specific hair type as well as your face. You will not be dissapointed! Nicola has the magic touch! One of the best colourists in the city! Blonde can be tricky, but she nails it every time! I found her years ago, after a high end salon left me in tears with cheetah spots at the roots. Nicola repaired my hair and I've been going to her ever since! She takes the time to really understand what you want, as each client is different with what tone works for them. Her positive energy and talent leave you feeling so refreshed with gorgeous hair! She is top notch, truly one of the BEST!

For 10+ years, I have been going to Educo and seeing Priya who has been cutting and styling my hair. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE going to and and leaving the salon (never had the hair cutting regrets I hear people talking about). Priya is professional, trustworthy and just so lovely! Last year, I was scoping the city for the best and a trustworthy hairdresser, did a lot of research and came across Educo and they seem promising. After going through all the posts and reviews in their page I picked Danielle to cut my hair. I'm very particular with my hair and scared to just trust whoever with it. And I'm telling you she did not disappoint, a good haircut for me isn't just the initial look (but of course that's a +). The reason why I love her is because how great my hair looks the longer it gets. I've had two sessions with her during the pandemic. And was never disappointed. Anddd to top it all off her customer service? Amazing she's super nice and will make you very comfortable.

I’ve been seeing Priya on and off for the better part of 15 years. I always go back to her, no matter how far away I move. Her haircuts look great from the moment you leave until the moment you go back - they always grow out so beautifully. I always leave happy and won’t go anywhere else.

My experience with Educo Salon this time around was terribly awful. I've been coming to Educo these past 4 years. They have great stylist absolutely, but receptionist was awful (whoever had the shift in early August 2021). She kept hanging up on me each call. I bet she's busy but why hang up on a customer and when our conversation is not finished yet?

I knew I was going to be late for my appointment so I informed the receptionist on the same day, hours before to give my stylist a heads up that I would be at least 15 minutes late. Text, email or call, no answer. I ended up being 15 minutes late and was refused service. If only they informed me before hand that my appointment would be cancelled or have to be rebooked, I would not have come in the first place. There was no text, email or call from the receptionist. She did not even try. The receptionist said I was more than 30 minutes late. I do not know what clock she was looking at but I was only 15 minutes late and I kept telling her that but she kept insisting I was more than 30 minutes late. Well I guess with all the arguments, it took 5 minutes more, making it 20 minutes in total.

I decided to call back and reschedule but she kept telling me the wrong times and kept changing the availability and kept hanging up. 3 calls in total. I gave up and went to a different salon.

Change your receptionist please.

I took my daughter to see Priya at Educo Salon. First of all, the space is beautiful! Very clean and following COVID protocols, I was at ease from the moment I stepped in the salon. Priya is always smiling and made my daughter feel like the princess she is with her gorgeous haircut! I will definitely return but this time, for myself! Thanks Priya for a great experience. It won't be our last.

In good old days when we could go into hair salons, I cut my hair super short in educu salon and was super happy with the results

Trying to support local businesses during Covid-19 so I ordered $150 worth of products from them on April 4th after seeing they carried the brand of hair care I use. I received the confirmation email that stated "Once your package ships we will send you a notification email". So far my credit card has been charged, I haven't received my order (I'm local so location/shipping shouldn't be a factor) and I've attempted to reach out to them via email, telephone and their facebook page with no reply. If you work for the salon and see this, please let your owners/managers know. I would really appreciate either a refund or at the very least a reply and delivery of my products.

My colourist is Dee and she does such an amazing job! I love the colour and I always get so many compliments how natural it looks and that it suits me! I let her pick what she thought would look good and it did!

I have had many stylists during that time and all have been great - I have been seeing Chanel now 3 years. I even followed her when she left the salon for a short period - that’s how important her technique is to me. She’s very detail oriented and takes into account your life style as well as what truly suits you. She’s incredibly skilled, edgy and creative while being completely charming and professional.

I have had balayage with Dee on a few occasions and she’s wonderful!

Came back to this salon after a few years, and was super happy with my experience, especially during COVID. I got a haircut by Danielle, and highly recommend. She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that (and better). Salon itself is very safe, distanced, and felt reassured that they're taking precautionary measures.

Hair painting expert, Kaitlin, has been doing my hair for years now. I used to have very dark stubborn hair that wouldn’t lift. I went from ombré blonde to platinum blonde and now a brunette with a ton of dimension. Kaitlin has made my hair journey fun, exciting and my hair remains as healthy as it was in the beginning. I knew that wherever Kaitlin was going, I would follow. She is a newer addition to the educo family. Since joining I noticed that she’s more energetic, inspired and brings even more positive vibes which is reflected in the salon’s atmosphere. I love coming in. Everyone is always in high spirits, sharing valuable tips to one another and to clients. You can tell they value good customer service and are experts at it. Cant wait to see where Kaitlin goes with my hair on my next visit.

I’ve been going to Educo Salon for the last seven years and I’ve never been dissapointed with the results. The place is conveniently located at the corner of Yonge & Eglinton. The reception staff is always welcoming and pleasant.
My colourist Nicola is one of the most knowledgeable colour technicians in the GTA. She is an excellent listener, she takes her time to explain what options you have in terms of colour and she makes you feel like you are in excellent hands. You will not be dissapointed with the results.
Before making an appointment, I always check her Instagram pictures (nic.d. Colour) to get new ideas for my hair. I highly recommend Nicola if you want your hair colour to look superb.

This was my first visit to Educo Salon and I had an appointment with Kaitlin for colour. She's amazing! Apart from being very friendly and welcoming, she's extremely talented and knowledgeable. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but wasn't sure how to articulate it.so, I showed her a few pictures of hair-colour styles that I liked. Kaitlin was able to interpret my ramblings into a beautiful and natural looking balayage with no damage. The placement of colour is just beautiful and my hair feels so wonderfully soft. I feel really happy to have found her. I will be back soon:)

Let me start off by saying that I only let one person cut my hair, even if it means going a year without getting my hair cut. So going into this salon, I was INCREDIBLY nervous to not only have it cut by someone new, but also to have it coloured (for the second time ever).

The salon itself is GORGEOUS and offers a huge selection of Davines products which are my absolute favourite and slightly tough to find.

Kaitlin was FREAKING FANTASTIC. She listened to exactly what I wanted and worked with me to get the colour that I was looking for. She was super sweet and friendly and did an absolutely amazing job. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be coming back again and again. She was also very up to date with her technique and she was very thorough, checking every last detail.

Shannon also did a fantastic job with the cut! She suggested something that would suit the thickness and natural texture of my hair, and she let me be involved in the process to make sure I was happy with the final product. She even took the time to teach me how to style my hair which is something that I always struggle with.

If you are nervous about getting your hair cut, or coloured for the first time, or if you just want an amazing quality haircut I couldn't recommend these two ladies more <3

I’ve been coming to Nicola (aka “Queen of Highlights”) for over six years. She was recommended to my by a friend that has hair like super model Giselle Bundchen. I’ve tried other places that have great reviews, and they were ok, but if you want fantastic hair, just show her your inspiration photo and you will come out looking identical. Well, maybe I have to go to the gym, eat less pizza and grow a foot taller, but honestly, you will have show stopping hair.
An added bonus- Nic is the coolest person. She is always happy, and hilarious! You won’t be disappointed.
