On Saturday, January 13,2024, around 9: 00am, my wife and I had breakfast at this location. The food and service were okay, nothing special. However, I felt uncomfortable when the waitress, upon realizing I didn't tip, approached our table with a passive anger and sarcastically asked about how the service was in a passive-aggressive way. To make matters worse, she crumbled the receipt in front of us, displaying her displeasure. Tipping is a personal choice, and I didn't appreciate the awkward situation. Hoping the restaurant takes feedback for improvement.

Literally just order from here. I ordered the the two-handed Norwegian smoked salmon bagel.
1. It was supposed to come with arugula but instead they put spinach. No one called to asked me if they were able to substitute not even considering I have an allergy to spinach
2. The sandwhich is supposed to have a spicy cream cheese. You’d think it would be an infused cream cheese with Jalapeños considering there was an option to remove the jalapeños.wrong, they just put dashes of Tabasco sauce on it.
3. I paid an extra $1.99 to have cheddar cheese on my home fries. Nope, instead they added processed cheese onto my smoked salmon bagel.can you imagine how disgusting that would be to have processed cheese on a smoked salmon sandwich.it doesn’t even make culinary sense.
They completely messed my entire order up, I wasted $20 dollars for a meal that was not even edible. The home fries are cold and don’t taste good. The whole meal was completely inedible. I’m not sure who their chef is or who creates the menu but the food doesn’t match the description. I couldn’t even eat the meal for so many reasons. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this breakfast spot to anyone who truly values breakfast/food. I give it zero stars if that were possible.

This store has done a great job with the extended parking given it's location. The food quality and service is good as always, but during yesterday's visit we did notice some small nuances indicating towards reduced efforts to go beyond.

- the portion for 4 eggs (to be scrambled) looks like 2 eggs. Unlike bullseye you can't count yolks to prove, but you can tell if it's 4 or less.

- I ordered Taco Salad, and the green volume was multifold in contrast to corn, bean etc. Plus the spinach wasn't washed properly. The avocado was peeled long ago, as it had blackened.

- the toast size has shrunk with the bacon being over burnt

The chairs had hairs and tissue papers. While forks and bread crumbles were scattered on the floor.

Well, all of these may be due to the Sunday brunch rush hour, but being an Eggsmart fan, I felt this location has room to step up.

This branch renovated recently & looks much better but the reason that I am writing this review is the excellent service which provided by Sam and Eliana
& made our braunch fabulous & I want to share my great experience with you everyone.
Hope Sam & Eliana be successful in every carrier in their life.

I use to go to egg smart with my other half for breakfast before work, I really and truly like their food, then they had a fire and closed for awhile, then covid happened, now my other half is to ill to travel, so today I took myself for brunch and I found I still like this place. I will be back.

Great place to eat breakfast. The menu had a nice fun feeling to it with the varieties they offered. They also put effort into presentation. It was good but felt like it missed in quantity

I would have to say,
You have to try their breakfast at least once.
Overall, good!

Home fries cold and under cooked, no butter on toast that wasnt even toasted. Asked for no peppers in omlet, loaded.
We were disappointed with this eggsmart.
Will travel to the one on Lawrence and Warden that never disapoints.

The food was so darn amazing. I'm sad because I didn't think to take a picture.all I could think was " this smells amazing ". I definitely recommend for breakfast and there is a nice view of the CN tower outside. Great Breakfast spot.

Went on a Monday morning to an empty restaurant. Things were slow and we asked for things to be well done and they flew out of the kitchen barely touching the pan. Plates still wet from washing, making the toast all soggy. Will not be back.

Service was slow. They were respectful and apologetic, but seemed like they were in on over their head on a busy Sunday morning. Food was very underwhelming for the price. Had to wait 15 minutes for the check and our additional order arrived near the end of our meal (we thought they forgot about it). Ordered chicken and waffles, and there was no sauce and was given 4-5 small pieces of chicken tenders, when they described 'fried chicken'. Waffles looked thick but were airy. Maybe get something else aside from chicken and waffles. My companions thought their food was 'okay'.

We go to eggsmart often for breakfast and brunch, never got disappointed. They offer one of the best breakfasts at such reasonable price. The servers are so welcoming and fast service. Usually we get place even on rush day. They have lots of seating area. The best part about eggsmart is their coffee.

They made me feel like a regular who'd been coming every day for years. Super friendly. Quick seating and fast service. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Cost far less for breakfast than we're used to paying in Ottawa (was $32 and we're used to $45+ for the same fare).
Definitely check this place out if you love breakfast.

Visited Eggsmart for the very 1st time and it was a great experience! The French Toast and Taco salad with chicken is delicious. The staff are very friendly too

Always a great spot for breakfast after shift. Fast friendly service and quality food every time. The orange juice is the best!

Came here for a quiet breakfast on a weekday morning. Our waitress was f friendly, attentive, and efficient. I feel as though eggsmart quality has been relatively consistent over the years, especially across their different locations. No complaints here!

The egg benedict is worth the visit. The menu is suited for breakfast. We coulsnt sit outside because of the construction. The inside setting is comfy and sunday-like.

We waited on the street in line for an hour to check in, service was great with good prices, specially I enjoyed the fresh orange juice and my french toast! We were five person and we ordered only 2 orange juice, but after payment and when went back home I checked the bill and realized that I was charged for 4 orang juices by mistake!

However you answered this review very quickly and asked me to send you an email but it has been 4days and you haven't answered my email yet!

The vegetarian egg skillet and the salmon eggs Benedict were both very filling and tasted good too. The seating was comfortable and clean. The exterior of the restaurant was pleasing too unlike other commercial buildings in the area. Great place for breakfast/brunch, nice staff, and no vaccine passports needed.

Prefect breakfast place for egg lovers, here you will get everything with egg engineered. Nice location extra caring hospitality and very accurate and nice service. Nice place to be at young street on Shepard.

Just finished breakfast at Eggsmart Yonge/Sheppard. It is a regular spot for me since June. I have to compliment Maria, my usual host, because she seems to be the glue that holds everything in balance. She is efficient, speaks politely to everyone, greets every client, remembers everyone by face and most by name.and often does it alone. She has good business savvy, a caring personality, and rarely forgets the details. Thanks Maria.

If Eggsmart Yonge was as consistent as Maria with the platters served, this place would be booming.

Finally got a chance to have breakfast from this place. We got take out from here during stage 2 of the pandemic - an eggsmart classic breakfast and a cheese omelette with toast. The portion was generous and very tasty. Can’t wait to try their lunch options the next time.

Ever since this place had burned down, this establishment has only grown stronger and stronger. The food is absolutely amazing as well as the quality of service. I would go here every morning if I had the money to.

Huge breakfast servings. One can randomly drop by if not in the mood to cook breakfast.
Extremely good value for money and not to mention the taste. The variety is also good. Will recommend eggs or a sandwish and won't suggest to go after pancakes, although the serving size is enormous.
Have so far tried the yonge and Sheppard spot and the seating is great. The patio is really nice.

I paid for and my order was supposed to have 6 ingredients. I only received 3 ingredients.they even protein the protein. Very scatter brain

I Whoud never order from this branch anymore.

This strawberry pancake is so not like those that I ordered from other branches before. It had 4 small blueberries and 4 small slices of strawberries in total. I always order this and I know this is wrong.it was my first time to order from this branch. I hate it and I wasted my money.

Eggs Benny was nice but they forgot to include the toast. And also forgot the fruit garnish. And also topping didn't have the green garnish on top of Benny either.

Called ahead and ordered the chicken clubhouse sandwich with homefries. Asked for no tomatoes, bacon well done and add cheddar cheese. The bread was not even toasted and I legit got balf a slice of bacon on the sandeich. Not impressed for $14. I will not be returning to this location.

Ordered the classic breakfast, eggs were way over cooked and fries were under cooked it was like eating half cooked potatoes. Then I found a small black hair on one of my eggs and had to stop eating immediately. Staff was nice and order was ready quickly, found it weird that during lockdown there was a man and a baby eating in the restaurant as well as another gentleman.

Service was fast, accommodating, and polite. I enjoyed having my lunch here with my family. I would come here again if I lived around the area. They have parking at the back so that helps cuz parking around here can be a pain.

Loved the location. Food was great, didn't wait long to get the order. Staff was friendly specially the lady named "Maria" was so nice and helpful in choosing the menu. Will come back again.

The food was yummy. Didnt have to wait long for it. About 15 minutes for food to come which is nice I had an appointment after. The service was friendly and nice and even the lady who took my parking lot spot was nice about it (we thought there were more spots) there is also a decently sized FREE parking lot just a bit down the street behind the building.

The food was served fast and the service was good, but the quality was not so good. The sausages tasted weird and could not eat them.

I am a vegetarian, but took a friend who was visiting for breakfast and she was more than happy. Staff here is courteous and what to help, even though I couldn't have any of their specialities, they suggested me smoothies and some options for vegetarians. Their smoothie was refreshing.
If one likes eggs for breakfast then this place has all the whistles and recipes for you cravings and off course hunger.

I loved my smoked salmon Bennie. Service was great even though it was busy. Great breakfast place. Will be back.

The smallest eggs I've ever had in any breakfast restaurant. The food is generally good, but they serve the tiniest eggs imaginable. 3 eggs felt more like 2. Service is good. Restaurant is fairly clean. Prices are very fair. Decent experience. But still mad about those eggs. Other Eggsmart locations don't serve eggs that small.

One of the best breakfasts you could ever ask for. Timing is everything - on the weekends the crowds seem to come all at once for brunch and thin out pretty quickly.

Great, quick, efficient service. I was immediately seated and was promptly asked and served coffee. Food was on point and was nicely cooked. Great for a quick breakfast!

We always go to eggsmart for brunch in a different location but this one really disappointed us because of the lack of cleanliness. Water glasses and coffee cups were not properly sanitized! Food always good and service got an OK point too

We were positively surprised when we walked in. It looks very dark and gloomy from outside, but once you step inside it's very bright and clean and quiet spacious. Although it is a chain brand, it doesn't have a chain vibe, it is very homey and the staff are very kind. The food arrived pretty quick and tastefully seasoned. And for those interested, the egg were slightly runny. Just how I like them.

Best service! Every time I’ve eaten here, I’ve received amazing service. The staff are friendly and attentive. Seating and Parking are limited, so give yourself extra time during peak breakfast/brunch hours.

So disappointed in the steak Benny. Horrible cut of meat. They do have great fries tho. But needs to step the steak up a bit.

What a deal! 4 eggs and a bunch of great tasing potatoes.

The juice was freshly squeezed so that was a real bonus.

Food was what you would expect of breakfast food, coffee was better. Environment and server was nice

Tasty, well priced, friendly staff. Bathrooms are down a steep flight of stairs though and not accessible, they were also quite smelly.

Very sumptuous lunch and coffee.the concept is similar to sunset grill.very hospitable staff.coffee very nice.

Pancakes too hard even to cut, scrambled egg cooked to much, and even I asked for and agreed to pay the extra charge for real maple syrup we were served the lousy table syrup.

This place has amazing food and is so good, the price is good and the customer service is great, if you are around the area, I suggest trying their food.

Located near Yonge and Sheppard, this instance of Eggsmart is decent, but not really noteworthy.

Portions are fairly generous, but don't expect to be wowed by the taste. Decent enough, you'll eat your fill - but it certainly won't leave you in awe by any stretch of the imagination.

That being said, the staff here are very friendly, and so it gets bonus points for service.

If you're looking for a place to sit down and partake in a decent enough meal, this Eggsmart is a good choice. However, if you're looking for something that's going to sit in your memory as a gourmet experience, thi location might not be for you.

Great portion size and well cooked. One of the best brunch spots. My French toast was good but I recommend getting the full breakfast with eggs and bacon, get extra bacon as they only put two slices and if you're like me that's not enough

Their food is very good. I was in the area because of DECA and ended up going there in a hurry and I loved it! Even if this isn't your typical breakfast, I suggest you give it a try at least.

This place once shut down and revived, like Jesus Christ! Food is okay, I just don't like unhealthy food
