The food was pretty good but the service here is terrible. They were so understaffed for a Saturday morning. There was one waitress running the entire show - the other “waiter” couldn’t even place and order on their system or hand over a complete order.

Fantastic food and servers…. The food was great, the servers were also great. Lemonade was very good.
I went there 3 times a week. All people work there was polite with a beautiful smile and the chef was good. The plat of food was good and serve warm. Thank you Eggsmart for the good moments you create for us….

Horrible place to go my partner and I decided to try this place out for the first time so we arrived a little after nine in the morning on a Sunday morning sat there for 45 minutes while they served a couple that came in nearly half an hour after we arrived when we asked the server why we were still waiting she proceeded to go look at a screen then came back to take our order again immediately angered by this we left to go to Cherie bistro much better place that is prompt and they don’t displace your order. Too add to this it was their managers birthday they were more concerned about eating cake then making sure their customers were taken care of……. Who eats cake at 9 in the morning? I've been here to eart several times and every time it's been delicious and the servers have been friendly.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and initally it was quite pleasant. The waitress was nice. However when she took our order she wrote down one of them incorrectly and served my husband with the wrong order. She did apologize, however on the bill we were charged for the wrong order.
We asked for peanut butter and jam for our toast and we were not told that it would cost us extra. On the receipt it showed Open Food $6.20 which we can only assume was for the Peanut Butter and Jam (5 or 6 small packages) as we did not order anything extra outside of our order.
We found later that we had very dry mouths and were very thirsty after our meal and can't help but wonder if they use MSG?

The portions are almost tiny. We waited more than 45 mins to get just basic bf. The worst part was that we weren’t informed that the service will take so long.

Staff’s behaviour was nice, and their food taste was good as well. An ideal place for breakfast.

Usually a decent place, but the cook gave me old and dry sausages with my order. Not edible. Disappointed.

Many offers, before 10am cheaper meals, 20% discount students (ID school/college required).
Vegetarian or not, have and option here.

Ordered a garden fresh veggie omelette and that was really delicious. Portion size was great. It comes with a side of baked potatoes. Staff is really friendly. So overall It was a great dine-in.

Food is ok 8 out of 10, but homemade fried potatoes is so good.servers are so friendly they serve food with their smiley faces.

I live pretty close to here so thought I’d give it a try one day. I’ve been coming back almost every single weekend for brunch ever since. Great food, affordable prices, and friendly staff!

I came today and the place had a really bad smoke all over the restaurant and it was off putting to a level where if I wanted to dine in, I wouldn’t. Thankfully I came for a take out but unfortunately the quality of the food was just not there. Best way to describe the food is serviceable ish but the problem is that the order wasn’t cheap as my dish costs $17! If you want to get similar dishes but with a much better experience and food quality, just go to Eggspectation and pay the dollar or two more needed for the higher price.

I was looking forward to going to an Eggsmart for the first time because I love brunch food. There was a ton of yelling and arguing coming from the kitchen staff and we were given dirty bowls and plates at our table. All of our meals were pretty disappointing and we waited a long time for our bill. They seemed to be really understaffed which definitely makes things difficult to run.

First time been to Toronto, and also first time trying the smoked salmon Benedict. It was really delicious just as it looks like! Good meal and good service, thanks:)

The food tasted dry and felt like it was old not to happy with quality.my sausage was dry taste not fresh, home potatoes taste old and my orange juice taste old.like those cheap orange juice had a bitter tastes.

I don’t write reviews mostly.

But I wanted to do it for this restaurant since I got great services from them.

When I wanted to order my food, my order was too complicated but the lady (who was speaking Persian) was amazing and she made sure to have the exact order as I said.

Oniya was very nice and had amazing welcoming vibe.

I’ve ordered from this place twice and each time the food quality has either been terrible, incorrect, or both. Perhaps the quality is better in person, but every time I’ve had it delivered it tastes terrible.

Nice place, good food, very consistent with the franchise model of other locations, waitress was kind and attentive, great value vs quality ratio, worth a visit for sure, I will certainly return

A lovely amiable welcoming couple run this Eggsmart Franchise in Cabbagetown - a block south of the Sherbourne station - inside an untouchable heritage building while all its surrounding buildings have been demolished for a mega-rise condo complex. No fear, the site is protected and after its November temporary closure to get new ventilation pipes, it is operating as scheduled serving delicious breakfast and brunch/lunch dishes. I tried the Southwest Egg Skillet of sautéed green peppers, onions, black beans, corn, avocado, pico de gallo, drizzled with southwest sauce and garnished with cilantro with sourdough toast and home fries. Delicious. I wish the owners “Movaffagh Bashi” and will be back!
