We are always impressed with the food and service here.
Today I tried the vegetable casserole and it was absolutely delicious!
Our server Kristle was lovely and very attentive!

The food and service are great. I'm a fan of the Princess Eggs Benedict. Its a great take on the classic. The service is always strong. The only thing is it feels way to clean and feels very corporate. I like my breakfast places kinda gressy.

Really bad experience with one of the servers at this location. We'd been regulars since we moved to kingston but today for the second time this lady - gave us a show of passive agressive attitude and complete lack of customer service because we dare to point out something wrong with our food something easy to correct. Instead she insisted in desagreeing in a sassy and sarcastic manner. So This is it for us. Our last visit. Good luck and I won't expose this person by name you were probably having a hard day. But you can always get a different job. We wish you well. Management. T R A I N I N G.

The food is always perfect and the service is always perfect. I'm a weekly regular and my favorite waitress remembers my order every single time.

There is something negative on this review though. Towards the end of my meal there was a bus of about 40 or 50 teenagers that showed up. The owner of this restaurant showed up at the exact same time. I had to witness him yelling at his employees because they weren't rearranging the tables fast enough to accommodate this group that had just showed up minutes before. I personally won't be going back to the restaurant for a while because of how the owner treats his employees.

Awesome breakfast, meals were delicious, hot, and served quickly. Our waitress, Marilyn, was awesome. Will definitely be back!

Most recent visit was very subpar, I had the Brunch option like I've had many times before and was pretty disappointed. Everything was either over or under seasoned, my sunny eggs were still raw, and the sausage never made it to the plate. On top of the food, our server Marilyn was practically non existent. When Jamie (our 5 year old girl) excitedly asked "is that for me? ! " She told her to "be patient" with an attitude. Food was fine but avoid Marilyn, took LITERALLY 20 minutes to get us our bill after asking; I work in service, it was not busy. We'll be returning but avoiding her, hope food improves in the future. Ownership/Management needs to take the reigns a bit.

We were visiting our son and his family in Kingston. On Sunday morning the entire family went to Eggsquis.including 2 young children. The menu variety met the wishes of each of us. Very good food and service.

Very quick service and pretty good food. They leave the carafe of coffee on your table which is nice.

Amazing selection of breakfast dishes. Food was great and service very good. Will definitely be back again. Too many items that look delicious for just one visit. Below is the waffle with strawberries and banana served with a side of custard. The other is a B and B, standing for a bit of both. The raspberry crape was melt in your mouth good.

Best place for brunch. Really warm and friendly staff. Loved the Norwegian eggs Benedict and Atlantic Salmon omelette.

Just the most amazing breakfast! The banana and strawberry waffles with the coulis is to die for? Highly recommend. We're definitely coming back whenever we visit Kingston. Everyone there was also very kind.

Recently had the pleasure of breaking my fast in this egg-cellent establishment while passing through Kingston. I recommend you do the same if the opportunity arises!
The staff was friendly, kind, and efficient despite the burdens put on them by a pandemic and my boisterous family. The Eggs Benedict were perfection. The surest sign of a good meal is quiet and we polished this one off in utter silence… But you can believe we had a lot to say about how it good it was afterwards!

Best breakfast in Kingston. Super fast service and friendly staff. Even if the line is out the door there is a good chance you will be eating very soon. Like a well oiled machine.

First time and it won't be my last.
Also first time having eggs benedict and won't be my last either!
Great food and great service

Service was excellent and food was fresh, hot tasty. I had the traditional sausage and egg breakfast which was good and the home fries were excellent. The other three in our group all had crepes which they raved about. If back in Kingston, we will definitely come back if looking for breakfast.

Enormous plates full of delicious food. Best eggs benedict I've had in a while. The hollandaise was perfect.

I was a little skeptical of ordering breakfast foods for takeout, but this experience was EXCELLENT! My order was ready in the expected time, the staff was friendly, and the food was hot when I got it home to eat. I forgot how much I missed breakfast and brunch at Eggsquis. A great experience for sure.

This is my wife and I's go-to breakfast spot in Kingston. We go at least once and a month (when Covid allows) and they nail it every time. Great prices and the food comes out quick! We also want to shout out Leslie Anne who is by far our favourite server. Don't sleep on the greatness that is Eggsquis!

Pretty good food and the serving staff is so nice! Wait times are bad at all. There food is good and portions are reasonable.

You need to reconsider your takeout cup lids especially when you have skip drivers who drive across town with your food to deliver to your customers and have their coffee spills all over their bag or in their car you going to pay for the cleanup I don't think so get proper lids

First trip out since lockdown lifted! We chose this wonderful little place and were not disappointed! Excellent and speedy service, great options and very tasty food! We WILL return again, for sure!

Open for take out during the new covid19 lockdown. Excellent customer service! Their delivery system wasn't set up yet but owner offered to deliver to our place, which wasx really kind. They will be setting up food delivery soon but in the meantime I grabbed take out. Delicious food, large portions and great prices.

When I visit my sister in kingston this is the best breakfast place around.it's actually the best breakfast place I've ever eaten at. Staff great too.food absolutely amazing and huge helpings as great prices. It's a must eat at place.try it you will be hooked.

Best breakfast restaurant in Kingston. Been there multiple times and not once have I been disappointed. I recently went there with a bunch of my colleagues who had come down from the GTA and felt confident that they would enjoy this place.
Most waitresses and other staff are wonderful and know how to treat the customers.

I recently have tried their club sandwiches and they are absolutely delicious. They offer them with generous serving of salad and potatoes. If you don’t know what to choose on the menu that would be my recommendation.

Always quick service and good food. Had a crepe with berries and custard though I don't typically like sweet for breakfast. It was quite a nice change.

Good food quality and choice, great portions. Appreciate coffee included with meal, no extra charges. Don't charge extra for rye bread toast.

We've been here atleast 100 times, had issues but they always address them. Today they must have had soggy greasy potatoes from last week that they warmed up ever so slightly. No reason the kitchen shouldn't be serving hot fresh food.

If I could give it zero stars I absolutely would.

Food was excellent, great selection, the atmosphere is bright and well open with lots of windows plus plenty of free parking.
Coffee was so so, but i’m a little particular when it comes to my coffee. Either way, this was our 1st time visiting & we’ll come again.

Felt a little rushed to eat, but I really liked the food. Orange juice was extremely expensive at around $5 so please don't waste your money on it. Otherwise pretty nice

I like to come here often and the food is always good, I recamended getting the juice of the day, I always do because I can't decide on what to get. It's a good place and I recamend it to anyone who's looking for options and very good food! There's always specials and something for everyone

Very good food. Very good variety. Pot of coffee put on the table and filled once empty clean, bright breakfast/lunch restaurant. Have returned several times, and have not been disappointed. Can accommodate larger groups, have to make reservations for that, as they have a good reputation by the number of people who come to have their food.

Excellent breakfast. The portions are great and if you order a waffle or crepe you can expect to get a ton of fruit on it. My daughters eyes lite up when her strawberry waffle showed up. This is defiantly our new go to place.

Worth the wait! This location is almost always packed but they staff is friendly and quick. It's worth waiting a few minutes for a table. Absolutely delicious food. Not the cheapest breakfast in town but probably one or the best. Get a BOB (best of both) breakfast. You won't regret it!

Peanut butter on the table, great potatoes, great service, early opening and a tasty omelette cooked to perfection (furthermore no cheese by default on this western omelette). Get the early bird specials between 7A - 9A!

Went there twice for breakfast. The service was great the food was great and the management accommodated our large group. 5 stars!

I can't complain. Prices are good compared to everyone else in town. Service was good and portion sizes are very generous. I really liked that coffee is only a buck added to the meal.

So, this was my first visit to this restaurant with my mom from out of town. We arrived at 8: 45 am and were shown to a table immediately. The service and food were good, however the coffee tasted like lukewarm dishwater, maybe leftover coffee?
Anyhow, the part that really surprised us was that my mom ordered the early bird special (between 7 and 9 am), 2 eggs and ham, no toast and was charged a full regular price of $8.99 instead of the special $6.95?
On the bill it showed time 9: 10 a.m.
Conclusion watch your time when you sit down and clock in with your waitress

It’s an ok place, but too pricey for breakfast. For the prices they charge, I would expect to be sitting at a place with better interior design and better quality staff. The lady that served us lacked any class or refinement. She wreaked of cigarettes. I think I’ll stick to having breakfast at the Holiday Inn downtown if I’m expected to pay those prices and service from mediocre staff.

We walked in with smiles on our faces, excited to eat a hearty breakfast.

About 6-7 employees were standing around the front desk. Several of them looked up at us and ignored us. The restaurant was nearly empty, with several open and cleaned tables. We stood there dumbfounded for 5-10 minutes, while being ignored, and openly discussed leaving to find somewhere else to eat. Eventually we were seated, but not greeted. We did not learn our waitress's name. She mixed up our orders and never stopped by to ask us how our meal was. Other waitresses were walking around, some openly eating food and others discussing inappropriate (and frankly very private) matters.

After our meal we sat there talking until we couldn't wait any longer and decided to pay up at the front. We learned our waitress had already 'cashed us out'. We stood there, again, waiting for them to fix the issue so we could pay with credit. Our waitress told us it would come to $29. After standing for WAY too long, we decided to pay with the only cash we had ($30) and were stopped as we tried to leave, being accused of not leaving enough. Our waitress had already confused our bill with someone else's (when we first went to pay) and did it again as we were trying to leave. Once she figured it out she declared, "It's fine. You can leave, " without looking up and dismissing us completely with a wave.

Needless to say, we were utterly disappointed with our visit, especially after travelling across town to eat. One of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had.

To get 5 star would require no hair in the food and a waitress who cared to do something about it
