EK Dental is really warm and wonderful!

Definitely a good customer service until they got all my insurance amount into their pocket, even though they were not able to identify exact issue with my teeth. They were extra punctual in appointments and enquiring my wellness though no fix to actual cause yet. Now, no amount left with my account and they are not interested to treat me anymore, also they suggest some common remedies instead of providing proper treatment.

Apart from the money-digging mindset, they are well equipped with staffs and equipment.

Not sure if this is experience is only for me while seeing many 5 star reviews here. They may still have lot of amount to finish, though….

I was highly impressed by the modern approach of EK Dental and the quality of service, expertise of Dr. Shiva Monga and his team. They were very professional with my wisdom tooth extraction, taking the time to both understand my past history and then walking me through which areas I should focus on and how. It was quick and painless. After the anesthesia kicked-in, it literally took 1 minute to get the tooth out. Very cool technology. I wouldn't hesitate to check out Dr. Monga if you are thinking you are in need of a more modern dentist and office to go to.

Been coming here for over 2 years. Had several cavities removed as well as a root canal. The entire clinic from the Front Desk to Doctor Shiva Monga is extremely nice and professional. Great rates too. Would highly recommend choosing EK dental as your dentist clinic. Would give 6 stars if I could.

1) Hygienists are nice. They are therefore professional and maintain ethics and ethical behavior. Their work is exemplary, so satisfaction is. Again, whichever. The last experience was so excellent. She helped me completely. Well, before that I had a hygienist, and she did it in 10 minutes. But the last 25 minutes were devoted to me. It was so great.
2) To the dental. I also had experience as a dentist at EK Dent (she was a woman, she didn't even introduce herself, so I don't know the name oh yes.) she wasn't good, and it was one of the scariest things. That woman was pulling my tooth. It was horrible and des. After that experience, I was already looking for another dentist.
3) The only one in the EK dent that is good, great, and is really deserving of respect is Dr. SHIVA MONGA. Reject another dentist.
4) Always ask Dr. DR only. SHIVA MONGA. Only he is a dentist from my point of view, and I reject another dentist, including another dentist. You need to be attentive and stick to ethics and ethical behavior.
5) One perceives more if one perceives the world through emotions.

Although I've lived in this area for a long time, it wasn't until a few years ago when I started coming to EK Dental. The staff here is super friendly and will make sure you are comfortable. Amazing, friendly and budget conscious; from start to finish they have been nothing short of amazing! Judi does an amazing job of keeping me calm and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

This office is very friendly and professional. Judy is a great dental hygenist for kids she made my 2.5 year old as comfortable as she could, he was a little scared lol. I got my teeth cleaned by her aswell she did a great job and it's a decent price for 165 compared to many others.

I cannot express how incredible this Dental practice is. Dr. Monga has always has treated all my issues and relieved any kind of tooth pain I had. They also did an excellent whitening job a few weeks before my wedding. All in all highly recommended and worth the drive for us to ensure we get great service.

I have been visiting to Ek DENTAL for all my dental check up Xrays dental cleaning every quarter. The staff is extremely cordial welcoming and are a good spirited team. Ms Usha at reception always accommodates a mutually convenient appointment and takes care of billing and insurance for me very diligently. My recent visit was even more comfortable with the new Member of the team as my dental hygienist Ms. Judy was very supportive and informative during my visit. She took time to explain the process and even offered local freezing gel to keep me comfortable and ease up on my nerves for the cleaning process especially as i had sensitive gums @ new dental implants. I Highly recommend Judy @ EK dental for all your dental hygiene requirements.
Judy advised me and provided me many essential tips for keeping well maintained oral hygiene.

I would have given negative or 0 star.

So, i went there 2 years back and it was my first ever dental visit after coming to Canada. So, i wasn't sure what to expect and what not to. I went there, they started with xray and all and completed the cleaning. Later they also insisted on booking followup appointment to perform another round cleaning. First they mentioned that I should be getting cleaning done every three months, but because my insurance coverage was not sufficient they switched to twice a year. So, wondering if the need of cleaning was decided basis my dental health or how much money I have on my insurance.

Didn't visit them for next year, however this year due to covid and some other reasons couldnt visit any other place and had to visit these people. I called to book an appointment and clearly mentioned its for cleaning ONLY.

I went there (first week of Sep), gave all the details and headed for cleaning. The assistant was making me ready for xray. I told her there would be already one with them to which she said its 2 years old and they do every two year. Fine. Not a big deal. That lady performed cleaning and at the end mentioned that dentist will see you and will discuss with you. Moved to another room. There a dentist lady was ready with her assistant and asked me lie down and said we will now do filling. I was shocked as I never asked for filling. I asked why filling. That lady showed me that I have 3 cavities, 1 major and 2 small and they needs to fixed. So she will fix 2 smaller there and then only and 1 major on next appointment. How on the earth can you decide for your patient? Ain't you suppose to ask for patient's permission? I told her I am already running  late so will would prefer to get all 3 done on next appointment and guess what she said it wont take more than 5-10 minutes. Fixing two cavities and filling just in 5-10 minutes and she actually completed that in 7 minutes. Stopped wondering on quality of the work then.

On coming to reception, I was asked to pay almost 100$, on inquiring total cost I was shocked that it was altogether more than 800$. A simple visit for cleaning costed me 800$. I told the lady that this wasn't asked for and she told your cavities were serious and hence needed to be fixed. How come the first assistant who performed cleaning didn't mention this and why the dentist didn't show me cavities first and then asked for my permission rather than just deciding that we are doing this today. Receptionist lady then inquired if I wanna book second appointment before Christmas or after Christmas. If my two smaller cavities were that serious then why 1 major cavity after 3 months? At that time they don't see the seriousness? I tell you why, because my insurance account is almost nill and they have not much left to get out of it.

BEWARE guys, they are after your money!

Pain free experience. Staff explains what their doing while in chair and how to treat at home. Reception accommodate apmt times convenient for patient. The office is clean and affordable.
