El Furniture Warehouse Ottawa

Prices have gone up a decent amount, I guess it’s understandable given inflation but still quite disappointing to see. What used to be a bumping weekend spot is now very quiet, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Not sure if I’ll come back. Also… nachos were burned. Sad, because this used to be one of my favourite spots.

Awesome atmosphere, food and service.

The service and food were great: I had beef dip sandwich and husband had chicken caesar wrap. Reasonably priced and great atmosphere.

Had an awesome Sunday afternoon on the rooftop patio, the waiter and kitchen were totally awesome and able to make sure I had a fully vegan meal, I had the sweet potato and Bean tacos with a side of chips and guac and salsa it was very tasty. The drinks are fun, the service is good and best of all are the prices! Had two mocktails myself plus the food and my bill was under $17 dollars!

Joli restaurant, très bon. La musique est un peu forte quand même mais le cadre contrebalance. La nourriture était relevée et comme dirait mon oncle espagnol: la dia redona benma locu!

I was there last week with my family!
We have been there so many time and really like the food and the vibe. My partner recommended so we went there.
It was full at the ground floor so we went to rooftop!
We waited there for someone to host us to the table. We waited long and then decided lets just go and sit.

Now this young girl all of a sudden comes and tell us to wait at the door! I found it very offensive and we waited there!

Then took us to the table. Later we ordered food and it was also less in quantity than what we usually have!
Anyways we ate the food and now I asked for the bill, she came and I did not had cash on me so I just gave her 5 bucks and was going to tip her through the machine. Instantly she declined to take the cash and said “ people pay certain % and showed me the tip amount on the bill, she made me feel so small and cheap infront of my family!
I told her first of all I was gonna pay her through the debit the rest which I actually did, I think I tipped her 14 or 15% im not too sure. ”

She printed the bill in french also! Like

I have never felt so bad! I understand its a stressfull job but please be kind.

I am not being racist here but she was a french/white girl and I literally saw she did not stopped anyone else than us to sit by themselves. We literally felt disgusted to be there!

Anyhow I tipped her big! Please be kind to people.

Went to the cute rooftop patio with friends. Tiki bar good food and reasonable pricing.
Chill atmosphere.

Le restaurant n'accepte pas les cartes de débit et le distributeur de billets à l'entrée prend 2,5$ de frais supplémentaires sur une carte canadienne!
Le serveur nous a pressés à partir à la fin de notre repas alors que l'endroit était presque vide.

I never post anything like this but this was just bad. Really bad.
Never go to the Warehouse in the market in Ottawa.
The grossest set of bartenders and servers in Ottawa I’m sure.
They all we’re eating behind the bar, wiping their mouths and noses with their hands, not napkins and never washing their hands for the 1hr we were there and in plain sight. I was so pissed and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I wish I would have taken pictures or video but I’m old school and didn’t even think of it.
When I asked him if he was wondering why I didn’t tip the bill, he said he didn’t care.
Forget the Warehouse in the market in Ottawa.

Stopped by for drinks on a sunny afternoon. Good drinks, good service, great atmosphere. Drinks specials from 2-5, some different things to try at a great price. Fun vibe.

They don't take debit, music **extremely** loud.

Other than that, good service, decent prices, decent food.

This is cheapest food in the byward market, there is plenty of choices for food and their Happy hour from 2 to 5 is great price for drinks.

We had a fantastic time atWarehouse! The variety of food we tried, including the falafel burger, regular burger, chicken burger, and nachos, was delicious. The atmosphere was great, making our experience even more enjoyable. Mind they look at ID foe entry to the place.

Super restau/bar! Nourriture excellente! Prix très corrects! Petit bémol, musique un petit peu trop forte. Mais sinon rien à dire! Super!

Best prices for food and drink in the market (heck, all of Ottawa) and good food at that. Has quickly become one of our favourite stops for a night out

Where to begin?
The nachos are a good place to start. They were disgusting. It felt like I was just eating plain tortilla chips. But every now and then I would get a unpleasant mouthful of cream cheese and onions. Yucky.

Second, the tacos were very plain and not worth the price at all.

The overall atmosphere felt like I was at a rave. It was hard for me to enjoy my food with my heart beating out of my chest from the bass. It almost felt as though I was the actual speaker.
My entire body was stuck vibrating while I was just tryna enjoy my nachos.

The only thing positive that I did note was that there was a unique choice of drinks that were fairly priced but I definitely would not recommend this place for anyone over the age of 20!

Always love coming here! Good affordable food, the dj plays my Playlist, the atmosphere and vibes are just right, and service is great. We tried the Mac n cheese and the nachos along with an amazing drink.

Dropped into this place on Sunday for a quick bite. The poke bowl attracted me. We each ordered one. Mine came with hard rice, likely leftover from the day before with what seemed like mayonnaise and was not very plentiful. It was edible because I was very hungry, otherwise I would have returned the dish. My friend recounted a similar experience with her order as well. I do not think I will return here.

On a first impression the place is funky. But the beef tacos are really bad! The pasta has good sauce but the pasta is super undercooked.

Cool spot for the most part. Cheap food and relatively inexpensive drinks. It smelled terrible tho. Smelled like a dumpster. The best way I could describe the smell was as if you were driving behind a garbage truck on a warm day. I got used to the smell eventually tho.

What a great place to sit out on the patio with a drink and a bite to eat
Great ambiance. Try the Margarita with the Corona beer in it. Don't know the name, just know I loved it! The food is really good and priced right. My husband and grandson found the portions a bit small. For me, it was perfect. Our server was very attentive and brought everything out in record time. She was friendly and so efficient. What a great place. We are definitely heading back soon.

This place was loud, full of youth groups. Everyone was having their good time with friends.
The food was awesome and cheap.
Service was 5* in that loud and musical atmosphere.

Food is awesome for the price, same with the drinks (and awesome drink selection) I only ever go for lunch cause the place is packed at night (reasonably so) but I’ll always recommend warehouse to anyone looking for a good cheap meal in the market.

Didn't even get our food. Everyone (multiple tables) who came after us got theirs. Sometimes within few minutes and we were waiting for over 20mins. Place looks alright.

I used to love this place, but the vibe is the only thing really worth it anymore. The prices have been raised, while the food is still subpar. All of our poutines were cold, we didn't get cutlery and when we asked, they only gave us 2 forks and knives for a table of 6. It took forever for us to get just a beer and a caesar when the bartenders were standing around, no condiments on the burgers, took them half an hour to get me a side of ketchup when I asked. They also screwed up 2 of our meals, told us to "figure it out" so when we finally got another server, 2 people at our table had to wait another 20 minutes for their food while we ate. Not worth it anymore. The music is also so loud you can't have a conversation with the person beside you.
