El Mariachi Tacos And Churros

Loved it! Great service. All meals are very filling and delicious. Empanadas were way bigger than expected. Great atmosphere and margaritas!

Had the beef tacos and a spicy pineapple margarita and a grapefruit margarita. The spicy pineapple margarita was mind blowing!

All aspects of the restaurant managed by well-trained staff, that is why it's at best and first try quesadilla.

Ok Mexican place. Feels very rushed so not a chill out place. The have a big sign on the wall saying that you have a time limit. A little crammed inside but the service and food are good. The patio in the back is a good bonus in the summer.

The way I love their tacos if I lived in Streetsville, I'd be here every week. I had the fish tacos with a margarita pineapple. The food is always amazing here and the service was great. Their churros are delicious too.

My wife and I came here without a reservation with a large group of friends on a Friday night, the team was amazing and got us seated outside after a short wait, and took stellar care of us. The food was delicious (the guacamole is out of this world!) drinks refreshing and perfectly made, and the atmosphere brought me right back to my hometown in New Mexico - 10 out of 10!

Our server Shania was beyond friendly, quick with taking orders, understood every request, and made sure everyone was happy and taken care of from the start. We can be a bit of a loud and rowdy bunch when we all get together, but she took everything in stride with a smile on her face, and made the whole group feel at welcome and at home. She even went ahead and split our bill perfectly at the end, remembering precisely what each person ordered, splitting the appetizers we shared evenly amongst the group, and truly going above and beyond with service. I cannot stress enough how absolutely fantastic she was, it made an already great evening perfect!

Please give my endless thanks to Shania for taking such stellar care of us, and putting up with our chaos with a smile, what a champion! She deserves a raise, and a heck of a lot of kudos.

The restaurant has very Mexico vibes, great cocktails and margaritas, delicious food and mouth watering salsas. We tried everything from tacos to Quesadillas to burritos and everything was good and to top it off, the staff is very friendly

The tacos were delicious as well as the empanadas. We did Uber eats so I can’t speak to the service and atmosphere but the food was good. I’d definitely expand and try more items on their menu.

Had to wait a little for a table big enough to hold all 8 of us on this past Friday, but once we got seated it was perfect. A bunch of us ordered margaritas, my wife got the passionfruit frozen Marg and that alone is worth the return. The chimichangas were decent, but the Baja fish tacos were even better. Chips and Guac was on point too. However the best part of the whole visit was our server, Shania. She was SUPER friendly and fun while also giving us better than great service. Not a single error on splitting the bills, funny, was having fun and really tied the whole evening together. I don't know what you're paying her but she deserves even more. Will def be back!

Excellent place for Mexican food. We had Margarita, jalapeño poppers, Enchilada, and Baja Tacos. Everything was great and flavourful. We had to wait 35 minutes on a Thursday evening, but it was worth the wait.

Very nice restaurant, I really loved the atmosphere and the location. I was a little disappointed with the food since I was expecting to be more authentic. But overall experience was OK.

It's a cute little joint for authentic mexican food. We tried Regular, Pineapple and Mango Margaritas. Regular and Pineapple were a hit. We ordered jalapeno poppers which were good. Chicken tinga tacos were pretty good too. We ordered churros as well, they were okay. I have had better churros than this one. Overall a good place to try. Waitress was good and quick.

I loved this place, it has vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The customer service was excellent. I would recommend it a lot!

Thank you for bringing Mexico to us here in Canada. We drove 2.5hrs to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Many more trips will definitely be in our future.
Everything about El Mariachi reminded us of Mexico. From the decor, the bright colours, the simulated hand painted tiles in the men's room, the music, the real Mexican beverages and even our server was Mexican (Luis I believe). He was great. I asked to speak to the manager and it just happened to be him. We had the Tortilla Soup which seemed expensive but when it came to the table it was huge and soooo good I wanted to order a 5 gallon pail for take-out. Our main course was the Al Pastor (authentic Mexican pork tacos). If you have never had Al Pastor do yourself a favour and order them here.
If it wasn't for not having palm trees and a sandy beach I would have sworn I was in Mexico.
This place is damn equal to Pancho Taco in Puerto Vallarta Mexico

There tacos are amazing, their chicken tinga tacos is like a chefs kiss inside ur mouth. Sounds odd I know but trust me this place is amazing. Their drinks are great a little pricy but not too bad

Been here quite a few times over the last few years and never have had any issues. Whether going with friends or even kids there is always something to eat (even for picky eaters). Try to get here early as there can be a line up on Fridays and weekends but worth every penny!

Food is excellent! Tastes authentic and a huge fan of the recipes. From what I heard, the owner uses her family recipes from Mexico, and you can really tell. The service was also amazing! Every time I come here, the servers are so personable. Makes me want to come back here often!

Service: Attentive and fairly quick considering the number of customers at the time.
Food: Tacos were filling and tasty. Minor improvement may be some creativity with the toppings, but authentically Mexican flavours were very prominent.
Value: Slightly pricey for what you're getting, but considering COVID recovery, happy to support a hard working restaurant in recovering.
Ambiance: Nice patio with great atmosphere to create a little piece of Mexico in Streetsville.

Will be returning to try the chimichangas next time!

Came here a couple of weeks ago with some friends and we were all blown away by how delicious all of our dishes were. Expect to get more than your money's worth as the food portions are enough to feed 2 people for a single dish!

Churros are great! Disappointed with the service though. I was directed to order online despite being in-store, and when I did, the website didn’t have information on how many churros were in an order. (It’s 4, longer than a finger if you’re wondering) Then, the system forced me to tip despite not receiving any services! It’s take-out, why would I need to tip?

Not bad, servings are good, agua de orchata so far the best I have ever tried here in Canada. Give 4 just because I am Mexican and picky lol when it comes to real Mexican food and taste.

Overpriced with slow service. Yes, the food is tasty and I would order take out next time vs dining in. The patio is cute but lots of flies and birds. It was a scorching hot day and we waited about 20 minutes for drinks. Why can’t they bring drinks out sooner - don’t have to wait to serve with food!? I got a margarita which was $10 and it tasted like lime water. They don’t give straws with water and during covid, I think that’s a must. There was no sanitizers either. My first patio experience in over a year and disappointed.

Luis was such a great server. The food was so good as usual and the drinks are the right mix of alcohol and sweetness

2019 Review:
Would give zero stars if I could. Poor excuse for Mexican street corn. This was pretty much canned corn warmed up with sour cream. And this tiny serving size for almost $7? ! I couldn't even finish it because it tasted so bad. Save yourself the disappointment and go to the Mexican restaurant down the street - much better service and food!

2021 Review:
My friend convinced me and my husband to try this restaurant again, so we did. We were very pleasantly surprised and I’m glad we came back! We ordered the loaded chorizo nachos to start and they were so good! Such a big serving too! We ordered steak tortas for the mains and they were delicious! Also came with a huge serving of fries that we could not finish. They had authentic Mexican drinks available and the service was great and attentive. We sat inside because it was extremely humid and the temperature was nice and cool inside.
Would definitely come back again as the food has greatly improved. Improving the rating to 5 stars.

Food is great as always. And service was terrific. The street corn is always a great choice and had empanadas for the first time which were amazing!
