Bought electrolux washer & door latch didn't work.technician came to fix but after spending 2 hours trying to fix the door it still doesn't work.do NOT buy their washing machine.

Bought a new fridge in August and it hasn't worked for the past 2 weeks. I have no choice but to have them fix it as they refuse to exchange or refund my money. It was delivered August 29th and stopped working November 5th. Today is November 15th and I'm told it needs a new compressor together with other parts which need to be ordered with no definite delivery date. Company advised it is not responsible for my close to $500 of food loss. It was on sale for $2799.95 plus tax. I can understand their attitude towards a $600 fridge but this is unconscionable.

I have a 2 year old Electrolux stackable washer and dryer. The dryer broke down after a sock got into the motor. Somehow the lint trap moves. Anyway, I’ve had 2 technicians in. They were able to remove the sock but not make it work. I didn’t not want to take the risk of paying for a third technician and paying for parts that the technicians didn’t know would fix the problem. Now we are going to buy a new set, but it definitely won’t be an Electrolux.

Absolutely the worst customer service and poorest warranty that I have ever encountered. Buyer beware! I have gone through 2 electric dyers of theirs in less than 90 days and they do not honour the warranties or support their retailers.

DON'T EVEN CONSIDER ELECTROLUX!

After looking at some other's reviews here, I don't feel the need to get too wordy, but to sum up;

- Pathetic customer service
- Poor quality appliances.

I agree with all of these comments. I bought an Air filter for my Fridge Jan 28th, I never received it. I never received an email saying its been shipped. No follow up, Nothing. Mar 1st I got charged. I have called 5 times and I still cant get my refund.

If I could post a negative star I would! Terrible company to deal with! In March 2022 we purchased our 3rd Frigidaire Wall oven, the first two were flawless, this one is junk! Came from the factory with the convection fan not hooked up, had local repair company out to repair but now fan runs no matter what feature I am using. In October 22, after cooking supper I noticed oven door looked ajar I went to close and noticed something was wrong, the front facia was hanging off the main door. We immediately taped up so it didn’t fall of a ruin my hardwood floors and Monday morning my husband started calling Frigidaire, but they could not do anything as their systems were down, that lasted almost two weeks. Finally our local retailer contacted a local repair company they came out and repair tech was shocked, had never seen anything like it. They went back to Frigidaire and let them know what was happening and no response, went on for weeks nothing, crickets! Finally the week before Xmas they got permission to order a new door it was in stock so should not be long, it’s now Jan 15,2023 and still nothing. 3 months I have been unable to use a $2000 wall oven. Frigidaire won’t speak to us, I have asked for a call from someone at the company to no avail, have me restricted on social media for asking for assistance. It’s been an absolute nightmare dealing with this company

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve been trying to get service on my brand new washer which started leaking in November. It’s now February and I still haven’t had service. Three times I booked service and three times I waited all day for no shows. All three times, I wasn’t contacted, they just didn’t show. Each time I called Electrolux, I was told that I had to wait another 48 hours to rebook the service. I actually have given up. I’m going to pay for a respectable company to provide service even though my washer is under full warranty.

Hey Mississippi I'm giving you a warning don't buy Electrolux products I bought a Frigidaire Freezer Electrolux pan company broke still under warranty two weeks before Thanksgiving and you know what it's still not fixed customer service sucks at Electrolux back in their warranties or even worse. It is still not fixed I have had five service men from A&E Service Company come I will include pictures of all the parts that have been sent damaged or wrong ones think twice before you purchase Electrolux

The worst service ever! If I could give them a 0 I would. They customer service line for repairs is so busy they are not accepting calls (what does that tell you about their product). The message tells me to go to their website for service, the website redirects me back to the 1-800 number that is not accepting calls. I bought my appliances in August of this year (2022) the front load washer is violently vibrating. We checked and it is perfectly level, the problem is inside the machine.

I am reviewing the “Brand” Washer and Dryer. We purchased in 2019 and it is 2023. (Approximately 4 years). It has given us problems after 1 year (Washer) the fabric softer dispenser stopped dispensing. We maintain with proper cleaning etc so it can’t be contributed to “human negligence”. Dryer problem just started (4th Year in use) loud, grinding noice. We YouTube’d videos after video but no solution. We reached out to retailer and they basically could not assist and recommended to reach out to Electrolux directly. No response! Getting a repair service company in to assist but I am not confident that I will have a solution. Will be researching new brand of washer and dryer moving forward!

Terrible service. Bought a refrigerator and stove. Paid a lot of money. Terrible product. Non-existent service that keeps passing you on to different numbers where no one answers the phone.
Sent an email and I am still awaiting an acknowledgment. Save your frustration by buying another, even cheaper product.

This is a company that has zero service values and local agent that support warranty are direct to do the same for example Trans Global as 18 months after original delivery of new appliances issues have not been resolved.

I’m not sure what happened with this company because I had Electrolux appliances before and worked fine. However, I bought a new single door fridge that worked only for few weeks and than all of the sadden it just stopped. I had to throw out all of my food. But this is not the worst! I have been waiting for parts since August 22, which now is over SEVEN WEEKS. I have called many times, sent an email through Electrolux websites, ask a manager to call me…and nothing! Still waiting! When I called one time a customer rep put me on hold and said that he is calling the company who was suppose to come and fix it, but guess what, he never did. I called that company myself and of course they did not receive a call from Electrolux. I received screen shots from the company showing that Electrolux changes due date for the parts arrival. Right from the beginning it shows that it will be available the following week and when I call/check the following week it changes to next week over and over again. This is frustrating. I have been without a fridge since August22. I called again today, September 11th, the Electrolux rep said that they will ship the parts to my house and even expedite the shipment. Is it even possible? What am I suppose to do? What happened to this company?

Worst customer service experience, my unit started malfunctioning within 8 month's of purchase, waited an entire year plus for replacement parts (same part was replaced on 2 previous visits) issue is still not resolved, The company indicated that the unit should be replaced then it was declined. I followed the directions given and now 1 year on no parts (still on backorder) and no replacement as I'm outside of the warranty year.

My front loader broke after 6 months. Still waiting for company to inform me what they are going to do about. They don't care about the customer. Customer service reps are completely useless. DO NOT buy from this company, you will regret it

Terrible company and products. Frigidaire dehumidifier stopped working shorly after the first year mark and no accountability whatsoever from the manufacturer especially since this seems to be a common issue with this specific product (planned obsolescence or just good old mediocrity?). Can’t believe the parent company in Sweden is not taking notice of the poor feedback received by their Canadian subsidiary as they should probably look to restructure their business over here and get rid of the incompetents managing this entity…

Fist and last time I buy an Electrolux or Frigidaire product
Freezer stopped working exactly after 2 years.warranty is only for 2 years
Came back from vacation to discover a couple hundred dollars of food wasted

They just recommend a service technician which will cost more to repair than purchasing a new freezer

Don’t stand behind what they sell

Frigidaire range stopped working just one year after purchase. How convenient that it's out of manufacturer's warranty now. Even if it was in warranty, they don't pick up their phones or answer their emails anyways. Never buying Frigidaire products again.

Horrible experience with their "flagship" 95 pint dehumidifier. Failed within 2 years with a common issue documented all over the web - F0 failure. Was promised a replacement by customer service and after 3 plus weeks I was informed that because I purchased "new" from the wrong place they would not honor their warranty. I will never purchase Frigidaire or Electrolux products again. Many others have the same complaint. Either the receipt was not retained or did not purchase from factory authorized dealer so they will not honor the warranty for what appears to be a class falure problem.

DO NOT BUY any products from this company. Their warranty and customer service is absolute garbage. I purchased a Electrolux Washer and dryer less than year ago. The dryer broken down three times. First repair took place within six months. The dryer’s drum stopped spinning. Their 3rd party service provider "Elite Application” asked me to pay $150 for a second technician because the washer and dryer are stacked and they need two people to move without even visiting the site. Waited about 4 weeks for the parts to arrive and on the second visit one technician showed up was able to repair and move it. I reported this to Electrolux but they cannot do anything about it. Second issue occurred after 9 months. This time the dryer doesn’t stop the dry cycle because the sensor doesn’t detect the cloths are dryer. My dryer was on for four hours. Luckily cloth didn’t caught fire. I called Electrolux for another service call and this time service company they assigned is CALM application. The service technical call and I explained what was going on. He said there is a problem Electrolux dryer’s circuit board and they are getting a lot service related to this problem. He will order the part and setup an appointment. Another month goes by waiting of part. To add fuel on fire while waiting for the part the dryer’s drum stop spinning and service technician stopped responding to any calls or texts for days. Finally I got a hold of him and setup an appointment. Guess what he doesn’t show up. So I got fed up and called Electrolux customer service and explained its going to be more than 3 months. So they said we understand will get another service company “Translog services” the next day. On the phone both the Electrolux customer service rep and Translog service rep confirmed they will show up the next day. Guess what no one showed up again. When I called Translog they said there is no service call or ticket on their system. I called Electrolux again and this time the customer rep says the ticket will take another 48 hours to be processed. Basically you get no proper service and you're stuck waiting for months.

Worst company ever, never buy any Frigidaire products. This is the worst company when it comes to repair first of all they send you damage items and then when you ask for repair even under warranty they take months to send the parts when the part comes, techicians dont seem to know what they are doing. Damaged my whole fridge which stopped working and now i got no fridge and asking for help for a replacement fridge which they will not help me with nor do they care to fix it for me. So iam sitting here with nothing to do and its barely been few months that i got my fridge. So please dont waste your time and money buying from them.

Horrible customer service. Been waiting months for my brand new warranty dryer to be repaired. Also, if you are lucky enough to get through on the 800 line, be prepared to be on hold forever and to get disconnected after you finally get through. If you do finally get a real person to talk to they won't know whats going on and wont know how to help I will never purchase electrolux or frigidaire ever again.

Very disappointed with this company. They claim to offer you peace of mind because of their long warranty periods but you need to pay a technician to confirm the issue and then pay again for the repair labor. The warranty on the washer motor is 10 yrs, and it has only been 4 years and the motor already burned. They can’t even give you a rough estimate of the labor cost. Aren’t they supposed to know how much their contractors are authorized to charge, for the protection of their customers? Don’t buy their “PEACE OF MIND” sales talk. It takes forever for a Customer Service agent to pick up the phone, and the one I got sounded like a bored zombie, who seems to have received very little training, if at all, on how to talk to customers properly.

I wish I had read the reviews on it before making any decisions. Bought a frigidaire refrigerator and exactly after warranty the compressor died. They made me pay an extended warranty fee and replaced it. Exactly 2 years later this one is now totally gone. Compressor died. What a terrible experience. I am sick of calling Customer Service and explaining my story numerous times. Seems like a joke for the fridge to completely stop working. Owned a fridge for 18years before and had no issues

Do not I repeat do not by this brand. I bought a brand new machine that is broken 5months old that needs to rebuilt. Imagine a brand new washer that needs to be rebuilt! Tye bearing, the shaft, the spindle all of it, And not to mention customer service is not helpful in replacing, to bad basically is what there saying. 1700.00 later and they are saying to bad.

The customer service agent was brutal! They did not care one bit about the amount of food that would go to waste as a result of their freezer failing within 9 months of manufacturing!

End result, it took the service tech (3rd party) 18 days to attend to he problem, and used tape to fix it. The service tech confirmed that they this is a reoccurring problem and that they only receive the service order 6 days ago.

DONT BUY ANY BRANDS FROM THIS COMPANY!

Horrible company. Never buy anything from them. Purchased a over-the-counter Frigidaire microwave oven through Home depot online back in Dec and we have been having issues with it (Sparks coming through) since day 1. They are not ready to replace it as well. Asked us to contact a service centre, who told us they have to replace 5 parts 1 month back. When we called Electrolux they have been ignorant and are now telling us parts are not available. We have not been able to use this microwave for even a single day. Why can't you just replace it when it's under warranty? We even paid money for a technician to fix it. I will never buy another one from your company. Really bad customer service.

I concur with previous comments. This Company offers no service, they hang up the phone on you when ask for a Manager, they always claim that their “back office will handle the request” and someone will call you back and no one ever does! Below are pictures of my new fridge, look at the doors! It was very apparent after the delivery men left and the plastic film was removed. Been trying to get this resolved since January and still no response from FrigidaireElectrolux!

I spent 6 hours on the phone with Electrolux last week-mostly in their extremely long cues. Finally I was able to order the parts we needed late on Thursday. That evening we realized we didn’t need the one product. I called at 8: 30 a.m. By about 9: 30 the item was removed from the order. I was told by their representative that the shipment had not been sent, well on Monday 2 items were delivered. Now this morning I have called 7 times within 42 minutes. I was put back in the cue when I was told they were transferring me to another department, the next representative put me on hold to look into my order and after about 10 minutes I was asked to answer their survey. I usually don’t do those things unless it’s for exceptional service… Finally I got through to a representative who said he’d provide me with a return form BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING. I’m selling my home and building another. MY SUGGESTION DON’T BY ANY PRODUCTS FROM ELECTROLUX. They own several lines of appliances including.fridgidaire. My top of the line fridgidaire gallery was a problem from the time it arrived here from the factory. Horrible service all around. BUYER BEWARE. I answered the survey with a strongly disagree on all questions and gave a 1 here. Couldn’t take the high road on this one. ️️️ Day.

I would give this company a ZERO! They are very unreliable I have called them multiple times finally they answered after the 10th call. They booked a technician to come in and check the appliance no one showed up I waited all day!
