They have terrible customer service. I am on the phone for over 1 hour just trying to create an account and pay for my bill. They left waiting forever. Who does that?

Garbage, before when people used to say elexicon is garbage utility company, i never beleived them. But now i get it, its 6th time in 2 hours the power keeps cutting off.please work on delivering better services.

Garbage service. I've never experienced so many power outages in my life. Absolute worse hydro company period. Update Sept. 4th, 2023, what a surprise, yet another electrical outage when it's a perfect sunny day outside. Bravo Elexicon for being number one useless electricity provider.

After a crazy day of thunderstorms, yesterday
- that, at one point produced a crazy burst of tornado-like wind and hail; which evidently, was all that was needed to take down a massive old tree and a power line, in our front yard. However, with the diligent and timely response and team effort [from our local Township peeps to the Elexicon Energy crew and the team at Davey Tree. ] as all potential hazards were removed- and safety was restored. Indeed a job well done by ALL!

Here, I'd like to give a huuuge shout out to Jordan and Daryl - from Elexicon Energy, in Ajax.for they're quick response - during what must have been very full and busy day of calls! Thank you both for your professionalism, dangerously hard work- commitment and dedication to the job! And thank you, too.for taking the time to chat with me - answering my questions, addressing my concern- and basically, explaining the process of what was happening. This I thought was really great- not to mention rare, when it comes to almost any type of customer service. You were awesome.on all accounts- and I thank you both for that!

Elexicon is one of the worst utility company that I have come across in GTA, Constant power outages, terrible customer service, terrible communication. After confirming that the payment arrangement has been made, they still kept sending me the bills for some months and charging overdue interest charges, which ethically I shouldn’t be paying for their fault for not setting up the auto debit properly

Also to resolve this issue, I came to their office @ 55 Taunton road E, wherein the Customer Care misbehaved with me and once I was waiting to talk to their supervisor for almost more than 30 minutes, they didn’t inform when is the Supervisor coming and nor did they allow me to enter in the Reception area and talk to any other Customer Services associate

The result of consolidated utility companies with a lack of competition. Constant power outages, terrible customer service, terrible communication. But hey — it’s not like you have a choice of provider!

Never in my life have I lived somewhere where the power goes off as much as whitby! My power goes off 10 times a month cause alarms to go off in my house and waking my kid up. I wish it could be the weather but it's not. Terrible service.

Elexicon has elected not to support Affordable or Accessible housing in Ajax. They are for profit only, Elexicon does not care if people without have heat or a quality of life.
They prefer to support the Mayor's Galas,

No one wants to be accountable for the issue with the tree branches touching the lines in my yard that affects several homes. I have made several requests and NO ONE has inspected my property nor retuned my messages. I moved in this home Dec. 2022 and I cannot believe that a utility company has allowed this line growth to occur. I will be speaking with my ombudsman in regards to the lack of regard for people paying for service. This is a danger to my family and all using these lines such a shame we pay massive transportation fees and minimal work is done.

We were having electrical issues for weeks, (power cutting out randomly and for different lengths of time) and after 2 separate electricians went through our house testing and searching for the problem, then 2 separate visits from elexicon, the guys finally spotted the problem!
Thank you Ryan and Taylor for spotting the bad connection in the meter box! And a big thanks to all elixicon staff from the call center to the crews, you all were very understanding and patient with our issue that would keep hiding every time you would show up but then reappear after you left.
You are all very professional!

Disgusting customer service absolutely disgusted. I’m paying 200 a month and I’m a single mother. Asked to speak to a manager and they send me to an line where it says “enter an extension” on repeat but never gave me an extension to make me hang up the phone. They haven’t helped me at all and I’m VERY disappointed.

Absolutely garage service providers, they purposely make the automated messages complicated so you CANNOT speak to a human being. Service goes out all the time, unfortunately there is no other competitors so we are forced to go with this garbage electricity provider.

Make sure you understand how payment plans work before you sign up for one. You still get charged interest fees either way. They got me to put down a deposit, plus every month put a certain amount of money on it and I still got charged interest fees for an overdue balance. There is no reason to sign up for a payment plan. Just pay your bill and a little more on top because in the end they will still charge you for your overdue balance. Don't let them scare you into paying a certain amount every month it gets you no where except them getting their money faster.

So glad I have no other choice but to pay this company for their sub-par services. 4 going on 5 days without power because of a wind storm. I understand the severity of damage this storm has caused however what I don't understand is the lack of accurate and timely communication.

Originally was told it would be 6 hours. Now I can't even get a rep on the phone and there has been all but useless communication through twitter. Their outage map is never correct. They have pushed the zone ETR several times then say it's restored when it's not. Thanks to this incompetent joke of a company I'm out $100's worth of food and $100's more in gas.

Every street surrounding ours has had power days ago and I can't even get a simple answer as to why ours isn't back up.

To top it off they have the audacity to tweet about how they are giving off peak rates today for the holiday when over 10,000 people can't even cook a meal or take a hot shower.

If you are looking for a company that takes zero responsibility for handling your vital services, look no further.

The electrical grid equivalent of Christmas lights where if one bulb goes out it takes the rest of the string with it.

Edit: another month another power outage, this one because of 6 inches of snow.

I don’t know how they’re spending the obscene amount of money I hand over every month but it definitely isn’t on improving their infrastructure.
