From my point of view I feel like the food quality has come down a little. However great service and good people

I came to this little restaurant about 5 months ago and i can say with ease this is by far one of my favorite places to eat. The service is amazing, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely to die for. Possibly the best afghan food in all of Ontario. Please come by and support this beautiful family owned restaurant.

This place is honestly the greatest. Food is always delicious and super fresh. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food is good price for healthy portions. Really the only option in Whitby to get shawarma or Afghan food. Small independent restaurant that deserves all the love and respect it can get.

Great spot for Mediterranean been in Whitby all summer for work and have come here almost everyday.

I’d you’re looking for legit kabobs, this is the spot. Their breads are fresh and amazing, and the portions are huge. Try the Elias special if you want a taste of different meats but my go to is the sultani.

The restaurant is so good its way better than an y other new restaurant ive tried the food is made fresh and infront of you the staff is so kind and caring im gonna be coming here more often so glad i came

This location is always the best. Customer service is amazing and the food gets better and better every time. I sometimes even come twice a day for the same meal. Chicken shawarma wrap is amazing!

This is the BEST naan and kabob place in my opinion and I've tried many! I live in Courtice and regularly drive to Whitby to eat here:) The garlic sauce is amazing too!

This is one of the best Afghan authentic food I have had in the past 15 years as when it comes to food with a picky person like me.the best fresh food ever I will recommend anyone who would love to eat healthy clean fresh food, feels just like home, staffs are very friendly and best customer service

This place is an absolute gem! I eat here like 3 times a week at minimum. Mostafa and his wife do such a great job and they take care of each customer like they would like a guest in their home. The food is delicious! I always get their kofta kabob or their chicken shawarma plate, I’ve tried a couple other items and they are delicious too! If you are looking for food that warms the heart with amazing middle eastern roots, I would definitely try this place out. I would go to this place over Osmows any day of the week.

Bonus: their garlic sauce is super yummy!

I’ve been eating shawarma all my life and I can say hands down Elias is the best! Always so fresh and every ingredient is home made. The staff is so friendly, respectful and treat you like family. The owners are the kindest people! Always very clean and delicious. If you haven’t already, you need to try this spot!

Me and my mother came and ordered a variety of dishes the food was excellent and the owners wife was friendly and hospitable. We had a lovely conversation with her. Im definately coming back here again.

This Restaurant is Amazing! But what is more Amazing are the owners and the staff that works there. Once you enter, you are treated like family! Food is Delicious, Fresh, served on time and with Love! You have to experience this place yourself and become part of the family.

BEST SHAWARMA PLATE IN ALL OF DURHAM!

Recently moved from Scarborough (shawarma hub of GTA) to Whitby and been looking far and wide for a shawarma spot. Starting from Pickering all the way to Oshawa.

Tried tons of places but they all left me disappointed. Finally came across this hidden gem.

Haven’t tried their other plates yet, but will definitely be returning to give it a try.

Really liked the Chicken Tandoori Samosas, one of the hard workers there named Maryam let me try it and it was amazing! She deserves a raise for her excellent customer service!

Best shawarma in town, so fresh, always on point. Samosas are amazing too. I eat here at least 2/3 times a week. Simply amazing.

With the new change in owners, I had to come back and change my review since this place literally went from 1 star to 5 stars overnight. They are exceptionally friendly and truly show what traditional afghan hospitality is like. The food is always delicious and by far the best place in Whitby! A+ in every category, i'll be coming back very often!

The shawarma seems to actually be fresh vs the others nearby where it is all dry and has been sitting there like tahinis or osmows or whatever else. Def get this. Good prices too. Other naan kabobs seem weirdly pricey in the area, not worth that. Never experienced previous ownership but this place is good.

Friendly service, great atmosphere, and some of the best fallafals I've had. Definitely will be back.

Big shout to Elias Naan & Kabab Whitby! We ordered valentines dinner for a group of 10 and was over expectation. Portions are huge taste and special flavor is a mouth watering in each tray (Palau rice with lamb meat), chicken/Tandoori and kufta skewers) plus their amazing samosas & Naan pita.if you did not try their food, please do and your money is worth a delicious meal!

Average chicken shawarma would be my best compliment for this place. Reasonable price for the quality and quantity provided. I will be looking for other shawarma places when my family gets the craving next time.

It was okay.but I don’t appreciate the hair in it. That’s what gave the bad review. It happens but shouldn’t. Unhygienic.

The prices they charge are different than the menu listed - I thought that was odd. Food was pretty tasty but don't care to be deceived.

I always come back to Elia’s! Osmows/Lazeez etc are alright but they have nothing on this place. The chicken is SO flavourful and moist, the toppings are always fresh, and most importantly …. The garlic sauce is unreal! Super delicious and actually made with fresh garlic, not that mayo-esque stuff you get elsewhere. I could eat this stuff every day tbh

Owner operated and run. The owner, Mustafa, was on site making sure customers were looked after. Quality of the food makes the 40 minute drive very worthwhile. The chicken shawarma, samosas and rolls are the best I’ve had in a long time.

The lady who works here is literally the most vile and miserable person in the world. She talks down to her own customers. She asked my husband if he could read because he initially took out his credit card to pay (they don't accept credit card btw). Horrible attitude, we cancelled our order because of how she treated us. If the lady or owner or anyone from this business is reading this. PLEASE INVEST INTO CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING! This woman needs serious training or don't let her work the front. We will never return and never recommend this place to anyone. Because she doesn't know how to speak to paying customers you will lose lots of money and eventually close down. Mark my words!

Honestly if you can't deal with a person being straight up and not a soft core sugar coated person that's going to walk on egg shells for you even though they are one of the few places that actually season their meat or the sauces are actually rich in flavour and you rarely get toppings that are not fresh (Athough I still haven't and it's been 5 years since I started going there) this is a top teir shawarma. Plus women from Afghanistan are the top 10 beautiful women in the world so how can you not expect her to have some attitude. Hot girls are rude.

I ordered the family platters on two seperate days. 2 Saturday and 3 Sunday. It was SO SO AMAZING! The whole experience was great. They were so nice and called me ahead to see how I wanted packaged. The bread was fresh, the kabob tasted good on both days. I would definitely order from them for my future events. I highly recommend this place.

Services are okay. But quantity and quality as per charges is extremely low. Better go to Afghan cusine if you fond this type of food. Never going there again.

I like to get the shawarma plate, always fresh and delicious. Very good value, portions are always generous and more than filling. The sauces are all very flavourful but the main star is the chicken. You will not find more tasty juicy meat at any other shawarma place in town. Elias does it proper!

Delicious Shawarma Wraps. Me and the guys I work with love to come here during our lunch break. We stop here at least 3 times a week and it always makes my tastebuds melt. Thank you!

My mom came to this restaurant on international womens day and brought leftovers. I had to try the food for myself so I went the following weekend and tried their tandoori kabob dinner, came with rice salad and a naan bread and I must say the dish was full of flavor and just the right amount of spice would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants to try something different. Hidden gem great customer service and will definitely be back.

A nice hand-cut afghani food place. Although there are spots to sit, it is better to take-out.
The food is authentic afghani but comparing it to other afghan places like Bamiyan Kabob and Kandahar, not the best in taste.
We ordered their family combo and they do not provide yogurt or any sauces with it, which was strange compared to other stores.
But for the area, a good place to try.

The way they did the service, the way they cook, and the way they have a customer service, i cant explain how nice, friendly and kind it was.
And about the taste of the food i cant explain to you, u guys have to go n try ur own, it was amazing taste
The most important i have to comment about is
They are super kind and clean.
I can tell, it really calls a lovely family business.
Also the price of that manue is more reasonable than others i use to go before.
I swear ill never go to any other restaurant from today, but Elias naan kabab.

Absolutely amazing! Definitely stands out from other Afghan food places - great service, amazing quality, food portions are good and it’s quick. You can taste the quality in the food, from the yummy kabob and the spices in the rice to the perfectly warm and fresh bread. The shawarma is filling, fresh and topped with very tasty sauces! So many different options on the menu to try from. A favourite family restaurant worth trying - you won’t be let down!

Food was good for Whitby; coming from Scarborough we've had much better. Service was bad, not just bad - rude, specifically the female manager. She's a tyrant. I ordered a Waziri Plate and it came only with the classic tomato sauce, which I don't like. I usually eat this kind of meal with the garlic 'white' sauce, which they didn't include. Understandable, as even Bamiyan sometimes doesn't give the white sauce with their food unless you ask. Although some places will give it by default and then some (shoutout to Zaitoun in Scarborough, one of the best Broast, Kebabs and Ribs in GTA, they give lots and it's delicious). So I simply went up to one of the employees there and asked for some. He said that they can only put it on Shawarma plates. I said okay at first because I could see the gentlemen was terrified. But as I continued to eat, I realized how dry the meal is without a sauce. My wife saw my distaste and decided to ask as well. The employee asked her to bring up the plate, but by the time my wife did the female manager had come and sent the employee away. She was very rude towards my wife about the whole thing, but there were three other customers watching so eventually gave it to us. Very bad place. Only in business still because it's Whitby.

Very good food in durham region personally i like shawrma here and chicken tandoori and breast kabab and taziki sauce is best thing i ever had.

I have try the kofta and tikka kabab and beef shawrma is very delicious i personally recommmand everyone to try elias special that was the best combo in good price with 3 kabab scwers i have.i luv their elias family combo which is a lot of food in such a low price.

I love this place! During my schools lunch break i come over here and have the most delicious meal ever. I love the costumer service, they treat me so well and they don’t mess anything up. All and all this place is the best place to get a meal

One of the very rare aces you will find around GTA for good quality food with extremely good quantity. The plate shawarmas are too much for single person. Sauces, rice and salad makes the shawarma immensely delicious and heavy.

There's no compromise even on Side items like salad and fries. Fries are much better than that of mcdonalds. Trust me, whenever you have a storm in ur tummy, this is your go-to place to settle down your storm for less money.

We are group of 15 students from durham college. We always come here for best kabob. This is the best shawrama we had in durham Region.

I have tried a beef and chicken combo here its very good i think the best food in whole whitby in such a low price and their shawrma and kofta kabab is soooooooo gudddd i am in luv with their food and their service is best in busy time also
