This is my 5th time going to this establishment & while none of the manicures have been great (extra for cuticle oil?) today was the worst. I sat down & was asked what color, I said I don’t know the number, Camy picked it out the label said “NO! PICK A COLOR! ONLY NUMBERS! ” was yelled at me. So I found the color. Then I said “I would like the acrylics removed (acrylics I never wanted but Camy put on me) & a gel overlay. Well Camy was nice enough to yell over that I am wrong, I cannot have gel overlay, only bio gel. Sorry, I’m an accountant, not a nail tech. On to the service! When he wasn’t busy talking to Camy, he was on the phone or texting & took 2 snack breaks & managed to cut my cuticles & the skin around 3 fingers while leaving me with crooked nails. My hands actually still hurt 8hrs after leaving.

So if this is the best Whitby has to offer, find the gas money to go to the city because it’s a chop shop at premium prices.

I always have a very good experience when I'm there I've been going there for 3 years they're very very good at what they do and I've never been disappointed they r the best dont ever want to go anywhere else

My daughter and I have used this place for years. Today, David did a great job on my shellac pedicure and manicure. He was professional, gentle and efficient. I would highly recommend this business.

I thought I found my favorite nail tech, planned to only go to her and have only been going to her for months. But today when I was running late and called to let her know, she cancelled my appointment, and was not accommodating at all. Now she lost a very loyal customer and ill have to find somewhere else to go. Very disappointed in how it was handled.

I love the people here and the work they do. I have shellac pedicures and dip manicures. I love the way it looks and enjoy the service.

I came here to get a shellac manicure and regular pedicure.
I’ve never done shellac before but I was curious to try because they said it lasted longer.
Helen did my nails, I noticed she was rushing and asked a few times to fix smudges.
Less than one week later the nail polish was strip and cracking and came off completely off one of my nails.

I called and the manager was super polite, he’s the only reason I gave 1 star.

Came back to fix it and Helen started my nail and got up abruptly and left. She was trying to tell me it’s my fault it started stripping. Totally rude!
Helen is the worse and I would never ever let her touch my nails again. No Helen!

Lee ended up fixing my nails and she was very polite, patient and she took her time to ensure it was done properly this time.

Experienced nail artists. Very articulate and neat work. Have never been disappointed, been coming for the past 2 years and staff are friendly with wonderful conversations!

Not the original colour i selected as it has been well loved already but the nail tech suggested this one and i almost like it more! Her name was camy and they’re the best set of acrylics i’ve had:) good price!

This is my second time coming to Elite Nails. Both times I have had Nicole. She is absolutely wonderful! She is so gentle and kind and I always love my nails when I leave. The salon is very clean and staff are polite. Would definitely recommend Elite Nails.

The only reason I’m giving one star is because the service I received, when I finally did, was good work. I came to this nail salon for the first time on a relatively calm Sunday afternoon for a 3pm mani/pedi appointment. I’m a laid-back customer, as long as you’re good to me I have no demands really. However, the receptionist, the first person I met, was anything but good to me; not only did she not reply to my hello when I walked in, she was rude and didn’t seem to know that they had an appointment booked at 3pm. I tried to shrug that off but then she took me to an area behind the receptionist desk and dumped a whole bunch of nail colour samples on it saying “pick your colour” and walked off. No communication about what was going to happen next or who would be my nail tech that day.

So I took it upon myself to sit in one of the chairs and wait. After 5 minutes she waves me over and I sit in one of the pedicure chairs to soak my feet. The lady sitting in front of me seemed to be far more interested in watching what the nail tech beside her was doing, literally watching over her shoulder as she completed a pedicure on another customer. After a few minutes, she pretended to look for a nail clipper to trim my nails but that was it. I spoke up then asking how long I would have to soak my feet and one of the other nail techs said that the lady (who it seemed didn’t know what she was doing) would be doing my pedicure right then. Irritated, I looked at the time and realized with a start that I was waiting over 30 minutes for someone to start on the service that I had made an appointment for.

I was so upset I actually dried my feet and put back on my slippers, getting ready to leave. It was only when I did that did one of the nail techs asked me if I didn’t want my mani/pedi. I angrily told her that no one was telling me anything and how long I had been waiting there despite having an appointment. She apologized and started on me right then. She did a good job but I was far too annoyed then. The icing on the cake was that the receptionist seemed to be filming customers without their consent (probably for Instagram) and when I went to the front desk to pay, she was not at the desk because she was getting her toes painted (the nail tech who did my service had to cash me out). Unacceptable. I gave the worst tip I’ve ever given and left without another word. I will not be back.

As soon as I walk in someone is right their to greet me. It is a professional, relaxed atmosphere. I don’t always go to the same manicurist and I am never disappointed. I love the convenience of booking online. They have my business for years to come.

The owner here is horrible, and the service is even worst I went in twice to get my nails done spent over $60 for my nails to be done and both time my nail broke and both time they said they couldn’t fix would not recommend this place go anywhere but Elite Nails Whitby

Booked an appointment for 12: 30 called in advanced because I had an appointment for 2: 00. They assured me I would be done prior to that. Waiting in their seating area until 12: 53pm and I am now told they could not complete the nails.

Not a great first time experience.

I have been to Elite a number of times now and always for a shellac manicure or polish change. They do great work, they do however often run late and that can be frustrating if you are booking on your lunch hour or you have somewhere you need to be after. I recently waited 20 minutes and had to leave as the person I had booked with was still unable to take me. I rebooked for a few days later and waited 15 minutes only to be told the person I booked with would not be available to do my nails. I am disappointed. They do good work, but they don’t seem to care for my business, so I won’t be coming here again.

This place is terrible. I've tried 3 tines trying to give them a chance but the service just keeps getting worse. I made an appt with Helen for a pedicure and manicure, she kept me waiting for 45 minutes in cold water. I asked for shelac but came to find out, when I went to have it removed that it was bio gel that was used. They tried to charge me extra for gel removal even though I was quoted one price. On another occasion I booked an appt for 4 pedicures and specifically asked that we all be done at the same time but of course when we got there, they could only do 2 at a time. No respect for customer's time. Will never go back. Don't waste your time!

Helen always mixes up her appointment times. Has happened on numerous occasions. This place is dirty and they often run out of hot water for pedicures. Would not recommend.

I was excited to come to this nail salon; however, I was disappointed by the poor customer service. The nail technician (HER NAME IS CAMI), she was controlling and a bit aggressive as she spoke to me. Also, when she finished with my nails, she didn’t even remove the skin around my cuticles, which made my nails appear dull and unclean. Her response was very defensive and she blamed me for not telling her. I told her that I explicitly booked for a manicure so I expect my nails to be clean, but she said “I HAVE TO REMIND HER THIS. ” I found the overall service very poor despite being called ELITE! Also, I think they are way too overpriced, I payed $175 for a UV solar full set. I won’t be coming back!

Won’t be going back. I got the worst pedicure ever today. It was first of all painful, second of all she cut my big toe nails so short… and on top of that…. I have dead skin hanging off the bottom of my feet…. It was so terrible.

Great service and I’m very happy with my pedi and dip. Very friendly staff and they give good advice.

I Had a Pedicure, Acrylic Nail Fill and Eyebrow wax.
Pedicure was done by Tom. He was extremely gentle and was always making sure I was comfortable. He did a great job!

Nails were done by Mia. I have been going to her for a little while now, and I LOVE her! She's my go to girl for sure. She is a stickler for detail all while being quick. She's amazing!
Eyebrows were also done by Mia. Amazing job as well!

I got a shellac manicure at 6pm on Wednesday, the lady who did my nails was so ruff she cut the skin around my pinky and it was bleeding slightly and now has left a mark. Additionally my shellac colour seems to be changing, the colour is starting to turn dark at the top only after 2 days after my manicure. Really disappointed in the service.

Never been here before but Tracy did my nails and she did such a beautiful job I am so happy with them

I got a new set of acrylics done and the entire process was painful. I had to first get my old set removed and the nail tech, Tim, yanked each one off using a nail extension with no care to whether my real nail beds were being damaged and it felt like my actual nails were about to be ripped off my fingers.

I asked for coffin shaped nails and they look like rectangles. Tim also burned the skin around my nails with the buffing tool several times and even when I said it burned, he kept going and didn’t even apologize. Even when filing my nails with a regular nail file, he was extremely rough and scraped my now raw skin several times. I get my nails done regularly and this has to be the worst and most painful nail experience I’ve ever had. Will not be coming back or recommending this salon to anyone.

I went with Mia. She’s very attentive and did the style exactly how I wanted. The salon is clean and modern.

Update- nails still look amazing 3 weeks later. I have no complaints and will now become a regular at this salon for Mia:).

I live in closer proximity to other nail salons, but go out of my way to always come here for my manicures/pedicures. This is because they always take their time, pay attention to detail and give you exactly what you asked for.

Overall satisfactory experience. Been here a couple of times. Recently went in for a pedicure and it was poorly applied, however it is not chipping which is great. They are definitely overpriced. Payed almost 60$ for a shellac pedicure.

I’ve been looking for a really good nail salon in the east for a while and wasn’t finding anything I liked. I saw a friend’s ig story with a tag to Helen and booked my appointment right away. Helen is amazing and quick! Ive been recommending friends to Elite spa since.

Excellent service. Everyone is very kind and professional. I’ve been coming here for over 2 years, and every experience has been 5 star. They take their time to make sure everything is just right, but they are also timely enough to get you in and out if you are in a hurry. Lots of color choices and nail options. I highly recommend visiting here, and if you’re booking ahead, ask for Helen.

Super disappointed with the manicure and pedicure that I received today. Went with 2 others and was super rushed through everything. Uneven application of the nail polish and plenty of air bubbles in my nails and toes. Requested for round shaped nails, got almond instead and some of them are crooked/uneven. Pointed out that there were some bubbles and a speck of glitter but was told that 'it happens because of the top coat. '

So disappointed in the service and quality.

Excellent services. Tools sanitized. Place needs a facelift and THOROUGH cleaning. The people working there are very friendly and attentive when they are working with clients. When NOT with clients they turn into giggling girls chattering away. They should do this off the client floor.

When my appointment started 30 mins late I knew it was going down from there. First the lady kept pushing my hands away everytime she was done painting.she pushed my hands so hard the paint actually scrapped on top of the pixie glass. Second the nail isn't painted properly, shape is awful, my nail is not painted evenly and the nails are messy. All these good ratings make me look like I went somewhere else. Who y'all go to in there!? !? They did me real dirty.

I've had manicures & a pedicure done by the lovely Mia. I've never had a problem with either service, I absolutely love how my nails look when I leave and I'm constantly getting compliments from people. I recommend this spa 100%.

Went with a girlfriend of mine to get a set of acrylic put on. Went in with a reference picture and showed them the idea. I had asked for coffin shaped nails as I have chubby fingers and like to make them look a big skinnier and longer. She shaped them and cut them to length which was fine but ended up cutting too much off of the width and made them too skinny for my fingers.
To follow that, the acrylic was made way too thin. The apex of the acrylic nail was no where to be seen and the rest of the nail was pretty much straight across and had almost no strength to it.
Within a week and a few days I had one nail completely rip off and a set of acrylic nails normally last me 2-3 weeks before needing touch ups or a fill.
The friend I went with also had one of her nails completely break within 4 days of getting them done. And once she went back to get them fixed, another nail had broken and another one had chipped.
Not impressed with the work and will likely be finding somewhere else for next time.

I had an amazing service as per usual. Been coming here since I moved to Whitby and I would highly recommend! Try the marine pedicure, it’s so luxurious and worth the extra $15

I have been going to this location for years. Their service is exceptional! Every one of their nail technicians are well trained and strive for perfection. The owners keep the salon clean and fresh and have the latest in furnishings. I wouldn't consider getting my manicures or pedicures done anywhere else!

The workplace is very comfortable Queen and very warm. I particularly like the owner he's a great guy and cares for your needs

My first time at Elite nails and it’s usually so hard for me to find a nail salon or technician that can bring what I want to life especially in Whitby. I’m so happy to have met Mai of Elite nails. She’s really good at what she does and I appreciate her knowledge of nail art. It’s a very clean facility and I love the spacing.

Tom did a wonderful job on my nails. I love them! I got the powder dip done and have been coming to this shop for over a year now!

The skin around my nails are very sore due to the fact he filed my skin so hard trying to get the nail, my nails are also uneven i asked for coffin shape and i don't even know what i got instead. Very disappointed.

I came here through reading online reviews and wanted to give the place a try. This salon is so clean and professional. Helen is amazing she makes your nails dreams come to life she is a perfectionist. I recommended this place for sure!
